The article describes the fundamental issues of limiting property rights in connection with introducing the form of the conservation of nature on the given area Nature 2000. Regulations of environment protection laws and the act on the conservation of nature which appropriate claims will grant property owners were shown. Also existing legal conflicts were described in this area. The choice about the manner of the compensation for implemented restrictions to a large extent is hampering by the economical functioning of farmers in areas Nature 2000. What is more, a foreign aid budget coming from European Funds seems insufficient.

Lasami państwowymi w Polsce w imieniu Skarbu Państwa zarządza Państwowe Gospodarstwo Leśne Lasy Państwowe, jako statio fisci. W ramach zarządu Lasy winny prowadzić trwale zrównoważoną gospodarkę leśną. Las jako jeden z najważniejszych komponentów środowiska przyrodniczego, obok pozyskania drewna, ma do spełnienia przede wszystkim funkcje społeczne jak również ochrony przyrody. Szeroko i prawidłowo rozumiana ochrona przyrody, nie jest jednak tożsama z gospodarką leśną, gdzie funkcje gospodarcze i pozyskanie drewna są działaniami wiodącymi.
In Poland, on behalf of the state treasury, a National Forest Household is managing National Forests, as statio fisci. In frames of the management board Forests should lead the sustainable forest management permanently. Forest, as one of the most important components of the natural environment, besides acquiring wood has, above all, social functions as well as the conservations of nature to fulfill. Widely and correctly understood conservation of nature is not identical with the forest management, where economic functions and acquiring wood are leading actions.

Specialized authorities in the field of environmental protection have existed since the beginning of the creation of the system of organization of environmental services and the amount of them has been steadily widening. This has been particularly evident in case of nature conservation law which is a part of environmental law. The fact of existence of authorities having specialized knowledge is particularly important in the context of new environmental tasks resulting from the implementation of European Union legal norms often using professional knowledge. The purpose of this article is to present the specialized authorities functioning in the field of nature conservation, the scope of taking advantage of their professional knowledge potential. The article also aims at taking of trial of assessment of adopted regulations accuracy concerning the division of tasks and competences of public authorities with regard to administration of forms of nature  conservation, as well as presenting de lege ferenda comments aiming at nature conservation tasks performing more effectively.

A problem has been raised by mycologists who have been appealing for protection of fungi which have begun to disappear. The necessity of their law protection and placing certain species on the list of protected species or at least on the red list pointed out in the paper. Purpose – The aim of the paper is to indicate the reasons for too insignificant determination of some countries with regards to the issue of environmental protection. Research method – Acritical analysis of the literature together with deductive reasoning have been used. Among the quantitative methods, the author employed the use of the simple tools of descriptive statistics. Results – One of the reasons for too insignificant determination of some countries relating to issues in environmental protection is competition for the hegemony position they are involved in. The conservation of nature demands expenditure, which could be used to achieve higher economic growth. In the conditions of countries’ competition for the hegemony title, higher economic growth enables beneficial solving of the conflict. Originality/value – The author attempts to explain the reason for too low determinations of some countries in environmental protection, which is a current topic. Understanding the reason may contribute to helping to solve the problem of environmental protection on a global scale.

The subject of the considerations is Article 110 in connection with the Article 142 paragraph 2 of the Act on Used Electrical and Eectronic Equipment, which should be regarded as a  circumventing the principle of refraining from amendmening rules modifying other rules after the vacatio legis period. However the author claims that violation of basic principles of the legislative technique does not constitute a reason to omit certain rules in the consolidated text of an act, because such a text has only an editorial significance. Nevertheless an exception is a situation in which the given rule provision is recognized as legally ineffective. In case of Article 110 of the discussed Act, such situation did not occur, hence it must be held that there was no reason to omit this rule in the consolidated text of the Act

The publication deals with the issue of protection of trees in the light of the provisions of applicable law in Poland. It is a voice in the ongoing discussion for several years on the quality of the protection of trees, especially in the areas of investment. Compensatory plantings, also called replacement plantings are possible action in light of the right to compensate for anticipated losses in the investment process. Unfortunately, the legislator does not specify clearly the essential details of the decision taking into account the compensatory plantings. Does it make that such administrative decisions in Poland are not often?

The subject of this paper is to attempt to assess the legal regulation relating to the conservation of the resources, formations and elements of the nature in the agricultural activity carried out in the areas covered by one of the forms of the nature conservation. The analysis of the Nature Conservation Act of 2004 demonstrates that the legislature put in place a few limitations of the agricultural activity, related to the use of resources and elements of nature in the valuable areas due to the natural values. The scope of the prohibitions and restrictions laid down in the specific form of nature conservation depends on its objectives and functions. The subject of the analysis was the legal term “rational agriculture” with respect to the intended sustainable use of the natural resources. In the present Act, one claimed lack of specific instruments introducing requirement or even encouraging the making, in areas covered by conservation area, including agricultural activities, which helps to maintain high nature value. Ordering the terminology and adapting it to modern concepts of environmental protection, regulation of forest management, it would be time to replace the term “rational agriculture” to “sustainable agriculture”, referring to the modern concept of sustainable socio–economic development, the needs of environmental protection. It should be more precisely defined in relation to the term of the existing legal standards for environmental protection in agricultural activities, such as cross–compliance requirements. Regardless of the adopted terminology the legal term rational or sustainable farming should be referenced to the cross compliance requirements.

LOP została utworzona w dniu 8 stycznia 1928 roku i od początku swego istnienia dostrzegała potrzebę popularyzacji wiedzy przyrodniczej w polskim społeczeństwie. Przedstawiono główne cele działań Ligi od początku jej istnienia, a następnie dokonano krótkiej charakterystyki działań proekologicznych zrealizowanych przez Zarząd Okręgu LOP w Kielcach w roku szkolnym 2005/06. Były to: - rajdy i wycieczki przyrodnicze do gospodarstw ekologicznych - prelekcje i odczyty w szkołach - konkursy: wiedzy, plastyczne, muzyczne i literackie - konkursy o charakterze zorganizowanych akcji - konkurs informatyczny poświęcony prezentacji walorów przyrodniczo-krajobrazowych regionu świętokrzyskiego. Uwzględniono również formy pomocy nauczycielom między innymi poprzez wydawanie i rozprowadzanie materiałów informacyjno-szkoleniowych. Zarząd Okręgu Ligi Ochrony Przyrody w Kielcach skierował ofertę do nauczycieli i wszystkich zainteresowanych problemami ochrony przyrody i środowiska uwzględniając w niej kalendarium działań.
The Nature Conservation League was established on 8th January 1928 and since its beginning has been indicating the need for environmental information dissemination among Polish society. The key goals of the League's activities since its establishing were presented alongside with a short characteristics of initiatives in the area of environmental protection and nature conservation realized by the District Management of the Nature Conservation League in Kielce in the school year 2005/2006. Forms of assistance offered to teachers e.g. publication and distribution of training and information materials were presented. The District Management has developed and proposed an offer to the teachers and all interested in the nature conservation and environmental protection issues including a calendar of activities.
