    Opis:
    Nowadays the Church has a great challenge connected with taking up evangelization again. It must be an answer to signs of the times, to the needs of present people and to the conditions in which the man lives. In these complex and difficult realities there is a need for Christians capable of sharing their faith, who will keep on preaching with fervour and apostolic enthusiasm. As it is indicated in Instrumentum laboris, catechists can cope with this task. They are the subjects of passing on the faith and they are responsible for its preaching. In the document there are suggestions about how they should carry out their mission. However, they need more detailed elaboration. All these matters are to be discussed during 13th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops. We must hope that they will meet specific solutions, becoming an impulse to greater involvement in passing on the faith by catechists participating in the new evangelization through their service.

    Opis:
    The task of this work is to make a comparison of subjectivity in the philosophy of Frederic Nietzsche and Soren Kierkegaard in the context of modern metaphysics. It turns out that despite the fact that our XIX century philosophers were trying to go beyond the definition of modern subject by using two separate methods, their thought is marked with similar assumption. It is natural that their projects did not succeed in breaking down the modern metaphysics, but instead it resulted in bringing to an end the possibilities that these metaphysics enabled. This end means a radical defining of a subject as the one who "came out of Matrix" - he is no longer obliged to follow any outside rules. He invents the rules on his own and no one can have an authority over his deeds. Following further consideration it turns out that similarity of two titular philosophers is a solidly grounded thesis and a reference of these conclusions to metaphysics enables us to take up a new look at the shape of modern times. As a result a new philosophy is possible: it is a philosophy which doesn't consider a superman or knight of faith as a culmination of it's thinking, but as a beginning of it.

    Przedmiotem artykułu są postawy moralne przyjmowane przez chrześcijańskich liderów biznesu w Polsce. W podjętym badaniu skoncentrowano się na jednym z kluczowych komponentów postawy, który stanowią różnorakie procesy motywacyjne. Postawiono następujące pytanie badawcze: jakie są religijne i moralne motywy postaw przyjmowanych przez liderów biznesu w Polsce wobec wyzwań zawodowych? Centralna teza studium zawiera się w stwierdzeniu, że w Polsce istnieją przedsiębiorczy chrześcijanie, którzy pomimo niezwykle trudnego wyzwania zawodowego, jakim jest pogodzenie celów biznesowych i religijno-moralnych, chcą postępować w harmonijny sposób i swoim życiem dają świadectwo, że możliwe jest – dzięki łasce Bożej − przezwyciężenie pokusy prowadzenia „podzielonego życia”. Odpowiedź na sformułowane pytanie badawcze uzyskano poprzez przegląd i analizę treści wybranych wypowiedzi chrześcijańskich liderów biznesu w Polsce, zawartych w świadectwach zamieszczonych w materiałach z konferencji zorganizowanych w latach 2011-2012 przez Uniwersytet Papieski Jana Pawła II w Krakowie oraz Duszpasterstwo Przedsiębiorców i Pracodawców „Talent”. Drugie źródło stanowi raport zawierający odpowiedzi z internetowej ankiety przeprowadzonej w dniach 9-20.09.2011 przez Duszpasterstwo „Talent” (na pytania odpowiedziały 64 osoby). Autor w swoich analizach skupił się na treściach wypowiedzi tych liderów biznesu w Polsce, którzy w sposób jednoznaczny odwoływali się do wyznawanej wiary chrześcijańskiej, ukazując jej pozytywny wpływ na ich życie osobiste i zawodowe. Stąd artykuł należy traktować jedynie jako przyczynek naukowy do dalszych pogłębionych i szerszych badań tej grupy zawodowej. Dokonane studium pozwala stwierdzić, że w polskim świecie biznesu są osoby, dla których obok efektywności gospodarczej (co jest niepodważalnym sensem biznesu), ważne są również cele duchowe, tj. zbawienie wieczne, pełnienie woli Bożej, oddawanie chwały Bogu, uświęcenie czasu, a jednocześnie realizowanie takich wartości moralnych, jak: troska o czyste sumienie, zaufanie, odpowiedzialność, uczciwość, poszanowanie godności pracowników (mimo ich ludzkiej skłonności do popełniania zła), zachęcanie ich do rozwoju, radość, równowaga między życiem zawodowym i rodzinnym.
    The subject of the article are the moral attitudes assumed by Christian business leaders in Poland. The study is focused on one of the key components of the attitude, that is the various motivation processes. The following research question was asked: What are the religious and moral motives for the attitudes assumed by business leaders towards professional challenges? The central thesis of the work is contained in the statement that in Poland there are enterprising Christians who, despite the unusually difficult professional challenge, which is reconciling business and religious-moral aims, want to behave in a harmonious way and with their lives they bear witness that it is possible – thanks to God's grace – to overcome the temptation of living „a divided life”. The answer to the study question was obtained by reviewing and analyzing the contents of selected responses given by Christian business leaders in Poland that were contained in testimonies published as part of minutes of conferences organized by the John Paul II Pontifical University of Krakow and the „Talent” Pastorate for Entrepreneurs and Employers. The other source was the report containing responses to the Internet questionnaire drawn up by the „Talent” Pastorate, that were given on 9-20 September 2011 (64 respondents answered the questions). In his analyses the author focused on the contents of the statements given by those business leaders in Poland who unambiguously referred to the Christian faith they profess, showing its positive influence on their personal and professional life. Hence the article should only be treated as a contribution to further deepened and broadened studies of this professional group. The study that has been made allows drawing the conclusion that in the Polish world of business there are people for whom besides economic efficiency (which is undoubtedly the aim of business) also spiritual aims are important, that is, eternal salvation, fulfilling God’s will, praising God, sanctifying the time; and at the same time they attempt to put into effect such moral values as: caring for a clear conscience, trust, responsibility, honesty, respecting the employees' dignity (despite their human inclination to do evil), encouraging others to develop, joy, a balance between the professional and the family life.

    Niniejszy artykuł koncentruje się wokół problematyki prześladowań Kościoła katolickiego w po roku 1945 poszczególnych krajach bloku sowieckiego oparte na ideologii marksistowsko-leninowskiej. W konsekwencji zmiany granic państwowych miały miejsca ogromne przesiedlenia milionów osób, szczególnie dotknięci byli Polacy i Niemcy. W strefie rosyjskiej zostało utworzone zależne od Związku Radzieckiego państwo niemieckie DDR. W artykule przedstawiono wieloaspektowe prześladowania religijne w poszczególnych krajach. Zakres oraz intensywność prześladowań komunistycznych zależne były od ówczesnej sytuacji społeczno-politycznej w Europie, a zwłaszcza w Związku Radzieckim. Przedstawiono w omawianym tekście główne wątki polityki antyreligijnej poszczególnych państw bloku wschodniego. Powstała w 2016 roku seria wydawnicza La Chiesa cattolica in Europa centro orientale [Kościół katolicki w Europie środkowowschodniej] prezentuje historię Kościoła w poszczególnych krajach. Problematyka religijna była wieloaspektowa i zależna od złożonych wydarzeń społeczno-historycznych w poszczególnych państwach członkowskich. Wielojęzyczna literatura przedmiotu prezentowana w serii wydawniczej prezentuje ogrom walki z religią i ułatwia współczesnemu czytelnikowi dalsze pogłębienie problematyki przez indywidualną lekturę w wybranym przez siebie języku.
    The following article concentrates on the problem of the persecution of the Catholic Church after 1945 in particular countries belonging to the Soviet group and based on Marxism-Leninism ideology. There was the great displacement, especially of Polish and German people, in the consequence of the countries boundaries changes. In Germany, in the Russian zone, there was established the German country DDR, depending on Soviet Union. The article describes complex religious persecutions in the particular countries. The extent and intensity of the communist persecutions depended on the social and political situation in Europe, particularly in the Soviet Union, at this time. In the text there are presented the main aspects of the anty religious politics in the countries of the east group. In 2016 there was established the publishing series La Chiesa cattolica in Europa centro-orientale (The Catholic Church in centre-oriental Europe). It presents the history of church in particular countries. The religious situation in these countries had different aspects and depended on the social and political situation there. Multilingual literature presented in La Chiesa shows the immensity of the struggle with religion and help to see the subject deeper through the individual studying in the chosen language.
