Opis:
Systemic approach allows to see the production enterprise as a complex system of production and auxiliary facilities. In process approach, manufacturing makes the stream of materials flow through individual production cells in a mixed (serial – parallel) system, in a discreet way (in steps). Processing times are different at each stage. Element that connects individual production facilities are interoperable landfills, which perform the functions of semis storage departing from object N and magazine of deliveries for the next (N + 1) or another station. Chart flow of deliveries and acceptances at the time takes the stepped form. Parameters of steps depend on the processing time and batch size. In the actual manufacturing process (even in the long term), lines of supply and efficiency do not run parallel. The analyzed plant consists of 9 stations and buffers (warehouses). The process of manufacturing of the refrigeration appliance has a socket structure. An important part of the production is suitable schedule for the preparation of components and assembly.

Opis:
This paper concerns issues related to the processes of sheet metal slitting and laser welding in technological lines. It includes a discussion of the industry needs and requirements for semi-finished products in the form of thin metal sheets. Furthermore, the basic technical solutions used in automatic strip slitting equipment and selected process parameters based on a specific material are described. The presented results were obtained on the basis of practical verification of the assumptions using newly designed devices implemented into production. The research material consisted of samples taken from S235JR sheet after strip slitting on an integrated slitting line and samples taken from a finished sideboard profile after laser welding. The welding process had been carried out using a CO2 laser, TruLaser Cell 1100, with a power of 4kW. Areas of a laser-welded joint were analysed for varied condition of the sheet edges at the production speed of 4m/min. Microscopic weld examination for the sheet edges without strains or burrs revealed a deep penetration at the level of 2355 µm, allowing to obtain a joint with a length of 1607 µm, a small heat-affected zone, and the correct structure. The paper shows possible problems and causes of their occurrence in industrial conditions.

Opis:
The aim of this study was to determine and select boundary conditions of modeling and FEM simulation for plastic processing on the example of sheet-metal forming. For sheet-metal deformation analysis, Deform 3D has been used. The study presents research methods for real and virtual conditions. There are also described common features and these differentiating obtained results. Research of conducted process of sheet-metal forming allows to determine the effectiveness of computer research methods. The finite-element method can be used as an effective tool for the study of plastic processing phenomena considering various operating conditions of individual elements provided the appropriate tools for FEM analysis.

Opis:
The objective of the study was to present the results of research on the thermoforming process using a patented, original male mold vibrating with the adequate frequency during the stretching of a polystyrene sheet. The research included determining the influence pertaining to the frequency of the mold vibration as well as other selected conditions of the thermoforming process, such as the temperature of the heater and heating time on the irregularity of the wall thickness of the formed product. The research was conducted using the DOE methods – central composite design. The thermoforming process was conducted using the vacuum stretching method with initial forming by high-pressure air. The analysis of the results obtained showed that the frequency of mold vibration has a significant statistic influence on the thickness of the walls of a finished product, both in the area of their bottom as well as the bottom’s edge. The thickness of the product wall on these areas is also significantly influenced by the other above-mentioned factors. No interaction, however, was detected between those and the frequency of the mold vibration. Using the vibrating mold in the presented process proved favourable, since the walls of the obtained finished products showed lesser irregularity in terms of the wall thickness than the products manufactured using a fixed mold.

Opis:
Innovative solutions of waste products minimization in the process of disks of tinned sheet cutting out by plastic working method are described in this article. Influence of various possibilities of allowances minimization in sheet cutting out process for Twist Off covers production have been analyzed in the work. The way cutting off the sheet delivered into the press and the sheet allowances between cut out surfaces have important meaning in the process. New solution of the shear edges shape for the sheet cutting off and blanking tool cutting edges new position making possible of the waste products minimization have been described in the work.
W artykule przedstawiono innowacyjne rozwiązania minimalizacji odpadów technologicznych podczas wycinania krążków z blachy ocynowanej metodą obróbki plastycznej. Wykonano analizę wpływu różnych sposobów minimalizacji naddatków podczas wykrawania blachy dla wieczek Twist-Off.
