Opis:: This is a statistic study on the perceived quality of safety training. The study is based on respondents from the Swedish register of seafarers. The results show that the experience of safety training is generally positive among the seafarers. The level of positivity is influenced by personal circumstances (such as onboard position and age) and by external factors in the work environment (such as ship type, trade area and flag state). However, the effect of onboard position diminishes when age and external factors are controlled for. In this situation, only the positive effects for cabin crew and age remain with strength and significance. Most ship types show strong positive effect, except for road ferries and vessels for max 12 passengers. When it comes to trade area it is only sheltered trade that shows a significant positive effect. Moreover, a homeland flag in the stern leads to a significant increase in the perceived quality of the safety training. These findings are discussed in the concluding part of the paper.

Opis:: Wstęp i cele: Szkolenie BHP pracowników to jeden z ważniejszych czynników wpływających na zmniejszenie lub wyeliminowanie wypadków przy pracy lub chorób zawodowych. Niestety szkolenia z zakresu BHP często są traktowane jako przykry obowiązek - i to zarówno przez pracodawców, jak i pracowników. Na rynku szkoleń BHP można odnotować wiele nieprawidłowości i nadużyć. Materiał i metody: Materiałem są wybrane zagadnienia z literatury przedmiotu. Zastosowano metodę analizy teoretycznej. Wyniki: Dobre szkolenie BHP przyniesie efekty w postaci ograniczenia liczby wypadków i chorób zawodowych, a poprzez podniesienie kultury bezpieczeństwa pracy przyczyni się do wzrostu jakości i wydajności pracy, a także odpowiedzialności pracowników. Wnioski: Przyjęte przed laty założenie, że zasady wolnego rynku mogą być jedynym kryterium regulującym funkcjonowanie jednostek szkoleniowych BHP, nie zdało egzaminu. Brak kryteriów dla jednostek szkoleniowych spowodował, że w przeważającej części konkurują one ceną, a nie jakością szkoleń.
Introduction and aim: Health and safety training of employees is one of the most important factors influencing the reduction or elimination of accidents at work and occupational diseases. Unfortunately, health and safety training is often seen as an annoying obligation. We may notice many irregularities on the market of safety training. Material and methods: The material is selected issues from the literature. The method of theoretical analysis has been shown in the paper. Results: Good health and safety training will result in a limitation of the number of accidents and occupational diseases, and by improving work safety culture will contribute to increased quality and productivity at work, and the responsibility of employees. Conclusion: Adopted several years ago the assumption that free market principles can be the sole criterion governing the operation of health and safety training units, failed miserably. There are no criteria for training units meant that for the most part they compete price, not quality training.

Opis:: This paper studies safety attitudes, their relationship with safety training behaviour, and generalised self-efficacy. From a sociotechnical perspective, training programs might be used as a mechanism for enhancing attitudes, especially to improve safety and occupational health. Also, self-efficacy allows to enhance training effectiveness. The aim of this paper is to validate a safety attitude scale and to examine its relationship to safety training behaviour and self-efficacy in organisational settings. With data from 140 employees, results show a conceptually meaningful 3-factor solution. Hierarchical multiple regression analysis shows a main effect of safety training behaviour and levels of self-efficacy on safety attitude. Study limitations and its implications on safety training design are also discussed.

Opis:: Food health safety has always been an important element for consumers. Enterprises in the food sector want to meet customer expectations and the requirements set out in national and international legislation and implement a variety of tools, methods, or techniques in their organizations. Increasing health safety and even improving the quality of produced food is possible through properly planned training of employees. This training should be tailored to the capabilities and needs of both employees and the enterprise. Nowadays, with the era of the COVID -19 pandemic, training in food safety becomes of particular importance, as the production of safe food is a basic objective to be taken into account by all employees. Under these circumstances, it seems appropriate to carry out additional training in the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 in the context of the health safety of the produced food. The aim of the present paper is to examine the subjective assessment of food employees regarding the amount and quality of food safety training in the COVID-19 pandemic. The research is a pilot study conducted at the turn of December 2020.

Opis:: It is the basic requirement of maritime safety education to guarantee the safety of teaching operation while training the crew's occupation safety capability. Marine Training Center of Shanghai Maritime University has undertaken the practical teaching of "marine survival" for many years and come up with the whole safety procedures of training. Based on the requirements of SOLAS convention and regulations of STCW over crew training, this paper introduces the safety allocation, utilization and maintenance of teaching equipments. Through the investigation of the safety situation of students' practical operation, the safety teaching method named "four in one" has been put forward, which includes the pre-teaching safety precaution, the whole monitor during the teaching process, the post-teaching summary evaluation, and the reset and standby of teaching facilities. Finally, during the learning and training of "marine survival", crews and students are called on to place priority on personal safety rather than acquisition of knowledge and skills. Only in this way can they be capable of self-protection and protection of others in the career of seafaring.

The increase of the safety of workers is achieved through the development of safe behavior during health and safety training. The importance of this training can not be overestimated. In reality, however, health and safety training are often regarded as a annoying duty, which has a significant impact on the quality and effectiveness of training. Improper safety training system contributes to the high number of accidents at work and occupational diseases, poor working conditions and causes high costs.

Opis:: Świat rozwija się w zawrotnym tempie. Jeszcze niedawno, bo w 2011 roku na targach w Hanowerze przedstawiono koncepcję przemysłu 4.0 (digitalizacja), a już na naszych oczach powstaje wizja 5. rewolucji przemysłowej (personalizacja) - współzależności człowieka i maszyny oraz połączenia nowych technologii z ludzką inteligencją. Przemysł 5.0 w sposób ciągły łączy świat realny i wirtualny, stając się głównym motorem innowacji i zmian we wszystkich sektorach gospodarki. Wirtualna rzeczywistość otwiera przed nami nowe możliwości, których do tej pory nie znaliśmy, jak również obawy i lęki przed nowymi technologiami. Celem prowadzonych badań była ocena możliwości zastosowania tej technologii do celów szkoleniowych w zakresie bezpieczeństwa pracy w budownictwie, w których wzięli udział pracownicy ogólnobudowlani, kadra zarządzająca, projektanci, inspektorzy ds. BHP, BIM koordynatorzy oraz inwestorzy. Na podstawie zgromadzonych danych sformułowano wnioski o charakterze ogólnym i szczegółowym. Przeprowadzone badanie potwierdziło, że wśród pracowników branży budowlanej widoczne jest duże zainteresowanie nowymi technologiami i innowacyjnymi rozwiązaniami, w tym również w zakresie prowadzenia szkoleń z zakresu bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy w budownictwie. Mimo występujących obaw i ograniczeń zastosowanie wirtualnej rzeczywistości w szkoleniach wydaje się szczególnie istotne w edukacji, treningu funkcji poznawczych oraz symulacji prawdziwych sytuacji występujących na stanowiskach pracy. W wyniku szkolenia użytkownik otrzymuje informację zwrotną w czasie rzeczywistym, a jednocześnie nie odczuwa żadnych fizycznych konsekwencji ewentualnych błędów, w związku z czym może czuć się bezpiecznie i bardziej skoncentrować się na wykonywanym zadaniu.
The world is developing at a breakneck pace. Not so long ago, in 2011 at the Hannover Fair, the concept of Industry 4.0 (digitalization) was presented, and already before our eyes the vision of the 5th industrial revolution (personalization) is emerging - the interdependence of man and machine and the combination of new technologies with human intelligence. Industry 5.0 is continuously merging the real and virtual worlds, becoming a major driver of innovation and change in all sectors of the economy. Virtual reality opens up new possibilities that we have not known before, as well as fears and anxieties about new technologies. The aim of the research carried out was to assess the applicability of this technology for training purposes in the field of occupational safety in construction This paper presents the results of a survey involving general construction workers, managers, designers, health and safety inspectors, BIM coordinators and investors. Based on the data collected, general and specific conclusions were drawn. The survey confirmed that there is a strong interest among construction industry employees in new technologies and innovative solutions, including in the provision of health and safety training in construction. Despite the concerns and limitations that exist, the use of virtual reality in training appears to be particularly relevant in education, training of cognitive functions and simulation of real situations occurring at workplaces. As a result of the training, the user receives real-time feedback, and at the same time does not feel any physical consequences of possible mistakes, and therefore can feel safe and concentrate more on the task at hand.

Opis:: Zapewnienie bezpiecznych i higienicznych warunków pracy oraz systematyczne szkolenie pracowników w zakresie bhp jest jednym z podstawowych obowiązków pracodawcy. Pracownicy wykonujący pracę „w terenie” podlegają tym szkoleniom jako zatrudnieni na stanowiskach robotniczych. Uczestniczenie w szkoleniach z dziedziny bhp jest obowiązkiem pracownika. Powinny one odbywać się na koszt pracodawcy oraz w godzinach pracy pracownika.
Ensuring healthy and safe working conditions and a systematic approach to training employees on health and safety is one of the basic obligations of the employer. Training is intended to make employees aware of work-related dangers, inform them about current standards and safety rules and identify safe methods of work. The employer has to conduct initial training in the form of instruction and periodic training. Employees who work in the field are covered by that training sincfe they are employed as blue-collar workers. Participation in training courses is compulsory. The employer covers the cost; the courses take place during employees' working hours.

Opis:: The study is research and development by utilizing the ex post facto approach. The research area is at the KM. Gunung Dempo. The research information was collected using a questionnaire method and then analyzed using evaluative analysis techniques via descriptive-quantitative analysis. This study is evaluative research with N-Gain. The data were collected through questionnaires and interviews. Valid data in the validity test results can be used for research. Two items of data were found to be invalid during the validity test. Result of N-Gain was 0.766 which was in high category, meaning that implementation of system model changed into suitable and powerful to enhance understanding. Result of t-test showed that t for statistical test was 93.398 with significance level = 0.000 (p<0.05), meaning that the model was effective. Drill Program implemented is in a good category. Correlation coefficient of pre-test and post-test was 0.878. Result of N-Gain was 0.766 which was in high category, meaning that implementation of Training application system version turned into top and powerful to enhance learning. Result of t-test showed that t for statistical test was 93.398 with significance level = 0.000 (p<0.05), meaning that the model was effective.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań ankietowych dotyczących możliwości zastosowania wirtualnej rzeczywistości w szkoleniach w dziedzinie bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy w budownictwie.
Virtual reality is a world created using computer techniques to create simulations of real-world phenomena and is increasingly used in many industries. Thanks to the use of the virtual training environment, an employee can see, feel and ‘survive’ certain scenarios, accident situations in detail and learn what the consequences may be if they behave incorrectly in the work environment. This paper presents the results of a survey on the feasibility of using virtual reality in health and safety training in the construction industry.

Opis:: W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań dotyczących organizacji szkoleń BHP na przykładzie wybranego przedsiębiorstwa górniczego. Założono, że odpowiednio przygotowany program szkolenia może wpłynąć na jego skuteczność, zwiększenie świadomości pracowników o ważności prezentowanych zagadnień oraz bezpośredniego ich zaangażowania. Badania przeprowadzono z wykorzystaniem techniki ankietowej oraz wywiadu wśród słuchaczy szkolenia prowadzonego w przedsiębiorstwie górniczym. Wyniki przeprowadzonych badań przekazane zostały kierownictwu przedsiębiorstwa, które zadeklarowało chęć wykorzystania ich do przeprowadzenia oceny oraz ewentualnej modyfikacji procesu szkolenia BHP swoich pracowników.
The article presents the results of research on organizing of the occupational health and safety training on the example of a mining plant. It was assumed that a properly prepared training program can affect its efficiency, increase of the employees awareness of the validity of the presented issues and the direct employees’ involvement. The research was conducted using a survey and an interview with participants of the OHS training in the mining enterprise. The results of the research were submitted to the managers of the company which offers a will for assessing and possible revision of the OHS training of its employees.

Opis:: Attention is drawn to the unsatisfactory state of health of Ukrainians against the background of low demographics, unfavorable socio-economic situation, pandemic of coronavirus COVID-19 and the consequences of hostilities. It is noted that this threatens the future of the Ukrainian nation. The urgency of the problem of poor health and high levels of injuries in general secondary education is emphasized. It is claimed that there is a relationship between the health of teachers and the health of students in general secondary education. Data on the unsatisfactory state of health of Ukrainian teachers are given. Based on the analysis of recent research and publications on this issue, it is concluded that modern teachers are not ready to create safe and healthy conditions during the educational process, that is their incompetence in the field of labor protection, based on misunderstanding of its social significance. It calls for integration into the European community, where the occupational safety training of future specialists is a priority, and the level of labor protection is identified with the level of development of the state. Based on the theoretical and methodological analysis of the research problem, it is noted that, despite the presence of certain developments, the social context of occupational training of future teachers is insufficiently covered. It is emphasized that the direct reflection of social demands and challenges are legislative documents. It was found that the need to strengthen measures to preserve the health of minors is stated in the leading documents of the international, national and sectoral levels. It is argued that social challenges and demands are reflected in scientific publications. It has been studied that leading scientists have an important role of general secondary education institution in creating a safe and healthy environment and the need for appropriate training of future teachers. It was found that, despite the provisions of leading documents and the beliefs of scientists, in practice, the loss of health by students of general secondary education is characterized by a tendency to deteriorate. This has prolonged catastrophic consequences, as applicants for general secondary education move into the category of workers in 1015 years. And workers are practically the only category of the population that fills the state budget, while other categories require public spending. Loss of health at the stage of general secondary education will inevitably have a negative impact on the further health and efficiency of workers. Accordingly, the state will suffer economic losses related to the payment of sick leaves, loss of working time, interruptions in production activities, medical expenses, etc. The conclusion is made about the importance and strategic nature of occupational training of future teachers in the context of ensuring sustainable development of society.
Звертається увага на незадовільний стан здоров’я українців на тлі низьких демографічних показників, несприятливої соціально-економічної ситуації, пандемії коронавірусу COVID-19 та наслідків воєнних дій. Зазначається, що це загрожує майбутньому української нації. Підкреслюється актуальність проблеми незадовільного стану здоров’я та високого рівня травматизму здобувачів загальної середньої освіти. Стверджується про взаємозалежність між здоров’ям вчителя та здоров’ям здобувачів загальної середньої освіти. Наводяться дані про незадовільний стан здоров’я українських учителів. На основі аналізу останніх досліджень та публікацій з означеної проблематики робиться висновок про неготовність сучасних учителів до створення безпечних і здоров’язберігальних умов під час освітнього процесу, тобто про їх некомпетентність в галузі охорони праці, першоосновою чого є нерозуміння її соціальної значущості. Апелюється до інтеграції в європейське співтовариство, де працеохоронна підготовка майбутніх фахівців має пріоритетне значення, а рівень охорони праці ототожнюється з рівнем розвитку держави. На основі теоретико-методологічного аналізу досліджуваної проблеми зазначається, що, не дивлячись на наявність певних напрацювань, соціальний контекст працеохоронної підготовки майбутніх учителів висвітлений недостатньо. Акцентується, що безпосереднім відображенням соціальних запитів і викликів є законодавчі документи. Виявлено, що необхідність посилення заходів щодо збереження здоров’я неповнолітніх декларована у провідних документах міжнародного, національного та галузевого рівнів. Стверджується, що соціальні виклики та запити знаходять відображення в наукових публікаціях. Досліджено, що провідними науковцями доводиться вагома роль закладу загальної середньої освіти у створенні безпечного та здоров’язберігального середовища й необхідність відповідної підготовки майбутніх учителів. Виявлено, що, не дивлячись на положення провідних документів та переконання науковців, на практиці втрата здоров’я здобувачами загальної середньої освіти характеризується тенденцією до стрімкого погіршення. Це має пролонговані катастрофічні наслідки, адже здобувачі загальної середньої освіти через 10–15 років переходять в категорію працівників. А працівники – це практично єдина категорія населення, що наповнює бюджет держави, в той час як інші категорії потребують державних видатків. Втрата здоров’я ще на етапі здобуття загальної середньої освіти неминуче негативно відбиватиметься на подальшому здоров’ї й ефективності трудової діяльності працівників. Відповідно, держава нестиме економічні збитки, пов’язані з оплатою лікарняних листів, втратою робочого часу, перервами у виробничій діяльності, видатками на медичне обслуговування тощо. На основі викладеного робиться висновок про значущість і стратегічність працеохоронної підготовки майбутніх учителів у контексті забезпечення сталого розвитку суспільства.

Opis:: Safety of crew, passengers, cargo and vessel is the most important aspect in terms of navigation. Boat Captain’s is responsible for the safety of vessel of less than 35GRT. The primary reason while MARINA conducting the MBSTC Training with Typhoon Awareness together with the ISCOF to be sure that they are enough knowledge in terms of safety at sea. Life is a very important to all of us that’s why the boat Captain must be aware about the safety of his crew, passengers, cargo and vessel. When disaster and emergency happen onboard you must know what to do. Based on this premise, the objective of this study is to train the Boat Captain and Motormen in Medical First Aid, Advanced Fire Fighting, Personal Survival Techniques and Collision Regulations. The study employed qualitative research using purposive sampling to gather the opinions and ideas of the respondents.
