Opis:: This paper describes the matter how a developed product passes through the company. The important influence is underlined here, which the designing process has on the order passage through the company. The fact is underlined here that innovation cycles have been reduced in a considerable way. Especially in pre manufacturing stages, the innovation cycle can be reduced in a considerable way by means of theoretically supported system methods of creative designing. The paper describes key principles how to apply these principles which enable apparently contradictory system introduction to designers' work with simultaneous increasing of a space for their demanding creative work, with the target to increase the quality of their work and to increase the passage possibilities of this "narrow bottle neck" within development and order processes.

Opis:: The study is devoted to an analysis of the working conditions of the running gear elements with elastomer tracks in the typical applications of an industrial vehicle. The loads of the undercarriages elements for the selected running gear with elastomer tracks were determined on the basis of this analysis. Particular attention was paid to the operation of the inner track lugs (during the drive transmission and track guiding), and the elastomer lining of the driving sprocket. Numerical computations were conducted by means of the finite element method using nonlinear static. The elastomers used in running gears, mainly the rubber with various mechanical properties (for instance hardness) were modelled as incompressible hyperelastic materials using the two-parameter Mooney-Rivlin model. The computations took into account contact effects andfriction in the areas of the mating elements contact. The results of the numerical analyses demonstrate the possibilities of increasing the loads transmitted by the analyzed elements of the running gear. The local character of the loads in the drive transmission system using the positive power transmission is noteworthy. The results of the computations may be used for the optimal dimensioning of the elastomer elements of the drive transmission system between the driving sprocket and the elastomer track.

Opis:: Communication platform systems as, e.g., advanced telecommunication computing architecture (ATCA) standard blades located in standardized chassis, provides high level communication services between system peripherals. Each ATCA blade brings dedicated functionality to the system but can as well exist as separated host responsible for servicing set of task. According to platform philosophy these parts of system can be quite independent against another solutions provided by competitors. Each system design can be different and can face with many computer systems design problems. One of the most difficult design problems to solve is system integration with a set of components running on different operating system levels. This paper presents Linux scheduler improvement possibility to make user space application classified as time demanding (required to be serviced by CPU in given amount of time) running in user space together with complicated kernel software structure in the system.

Opis:: W pracy przedstawiono nowoczesne konstrukcje układów biegowych pojazdów tramwajowych na przykładzie konstrukcji wózków tramwaju typu 118N produkcji krajowej. Przedstawiono wykaz eksploatowanych pojazdów tramwajowych w wybranych miastach Polski. Zaprezentowano główne parametry tramwaju typu 118N oraz porównano je z parametrami tramwajów produkcji zagranicznej. Ponadto omówiono konstrukcję układów biegowych pojazdu tramwajowego typu 118N z podziałem na wózek napędny i toczny oraz porównano kilka cech konstrukcyjnych wózka w odniesieniu do wybranych parametrów.
New construction of the running systems of tram vehicles, on the example of the construction of the bogies of a tram of type 118N of the domestic production, are presented in this work. The list of the operated tram vehicles in the selected cities of Poland is presented. The main constructional characteristics of the tram of type 118N are presented, and comparisons with the parameters of the trams of foreign production are made. Moreover, the construction of the running systems of the tram vehicle of type 118N with the division on the driving bogie and the rolling bogie is discussed. The comparisons of the few constructional characteristics of the bogie with regard to the selected parameters are made.

The current condition of running system diagnostics of the traction and rolling vehicles with particular taking into consideration the wheelset axle is presented in this article. The technical condition of the current operated wheelset axle and now used diagnostic methods are discussed. The reasons of cracks of the wheelset axles which can cause accidents and railway crash are presented. The prospects for development and introduction of the new diagnostic methods of wheelset axle condition which would increase the safety of the operated rolling stock are given. This article was made within the research and development project No. Nr 10 00 4806 pt. " Microprocessor diagnostic system of the railway traction vehicle main systems taking into account the current assessment and condition forecasting", financed from the budget of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education

Opis:: Provision of well-being in rooms is associated with their good ventilation. Good ventilation is influenced by cleanliness of ventilation ducts. The article presents a drive-by-wire version of a mobile inspection robot for ventilation ducts. A handler, which is movable in three axes and ended with a grab, a supporting vertical wheel (to reduce wheel skid) as well as a colour camera, a distance sensor and two light sources (LED and halogen lamp) on a rotary platform have been placed on a circular chassis. Apart from performing the inspection function, the operator of the "Inspector 1" robot may remove bigger pieces of dirt and garbage from a ventilation shaft using the handler and the grab. The device is powered from a 12 V / 5 Ah battery. A robot controlled using a control panel allows accurate illumination of the internal walls of the duct and wireless transmission of a colour image to the operator's monitor. The rotary platform on which the camera with lighting is placed is also capable of tilting up and down. The robot's drive has been resolved in a way that makes it as manoeuvrable as possible. Two front drive wheels operate independently and two rear wheels are easy-running. The robot will also allow recording the following environmental parameters in the ventilation shaft: humidity, temperature, draught force and direction and the presence of gases. The entire robot's electronic system is based on battery-powered supply (12V/5Ah) which is sufficient for approx. two hours of continuous operation. The voltage of the battery is constantly monitored and should it drop.

Opis:: W ramach projektu rozwojowego WND-POIG.01.03.01-00-164/09 opracowano modele wirtualne oraz zbudowano model rzeczywisty przedprototypu pływającego pojazdu gąsienicowego (PPG) przystosowanego do poruszania się po terenach wodno-błotnych. Wyniki badań modeli wirtualnych, między innymi układu jezdnego przedprototypu PPG, posłużą do opracowania nowych modułów gąsienicowych oraz innych podzespołów dla prototypu pojazdu członowego, który będzie przystosowany do koszenia traw, trzcin, zbierania i ładowania ściętej biomasy oraz jej tymczasowego składowania lub wywozu z terenu chronionego np. Parku Narodowego lub obszaru Natura 2000. Nowe pojazdy powinny zastąpić ratraki, których gąsienice powodują zniszczenia chronionego terenu a ich stan techniczny stanowi zagrożenie dla środowiska przyrodniczego.
In the framework of the project development of the WND-POIG. 01.03.01-00-164/09 developed virtual models and built a real model of amphibian crawler type preprototype of the vehicle, equipped to work in wetlands. Results of research tests of these models will serve to develop new track modules and other parts for a prototype vehicle unit which will be adapted to mowing the grass, reed, biomass collection from ground , transportation of biomass to temporary storages outside of protected areas of national parks or areas Natura 2000. New vehicles should replace ratraks (used in snow grooming), which tracks cause destruction of protected land and their technical condition represents a danger for the environment.

The classification of diagnostic tests is presented in this article and the basic methods of prediction of the devices conditions are also described. The characteristics of axlebox node of the running system with detailing the components is presented The criteria including temperature, physico-chemical and performance of bearings and axleboxes of traction vehicles are also presented. Opis:: An approach to determine a scheduling policy for a sensor network monitoring some spatial domain in order to identify unknown parameters of a distributed system is discussed. Given a finite number of possible sites at which sensors are located, the activation schedule for scanning sensors is provided so as to maximize a criterion defined on the Fisher information matrix associated with the estimated parameters. The related combinatorial problem is relaxed through operating on the density of sensors in lieu of individual sensor positions. Then, based on the adaptation of pairwise communication algorithms and the idea of running consensus, a numerical scheme is developed which distributes the computational burden between the network nodes. As a result, a simple exchange algorithm is outlined to solve the design problem in a decentralized fashion.

Opis:: Zaprezentowano nową konstrukcję kontaktora wielodyszowego do ekstrakcji w obecności pola elektrycznego. W szczególności analizowano ekstrakcję etanolu z mieszaniny z n-heptanem wykorzystując jako ekstrahent ciecz jonową [bmim][MeS04]. Za pomocą systemu laserowego PDA badano rozkład średnic generowanych kropel cieczy jonowej. Wykazano, że zwiększenie napięcia pomiędzy elektrodami skutkuje zmniejszaniem średnic wytwarzanych kropel fazy rozproszonej a zatem rozwinięciem powierzchni wymiany masy.
A multi-nozzle contactor for extraction in the presence of electric field is described. The contactor was tested against the ethanol extraction from a mixture with n-heptane. Ionic liquid [binim][MeS04] was used as the extraction solvent dispersed electrically. The diameter distribution of ge-nerated ionic liquid droplets was measured using the PDA laser system. It was proved that the increasing voltage between the electrodes results in finer droplets distribution and hence in better interfacial area development.

Opis:: W artykule przedstawiono środki konstrukcyjne zmniejszające emisję hałasu w układach biegowych wagonów towarowych. Jako odpowiednik układu biegowego posłużył standardowy wózek dwuosiowy typu „Y25Lsd1”. Na jego przykładzie pokazano jak pewne modyfikacje konstrukcji wpływają na zmniejszenie hałasu.
The constructional measures reducing the emission of noise in the running systems of the freight wagons are presented in this article. The standard two-axle bogie„ Y25Lsd1”is used as an equivalent of the running system. On its example it is shown how some modifications of construction influence the noise reducing.
