Many of his contemporaries as well as many present-day historians considered F. Sławoj Składkowski to be incompetent to manage government affairs. Prime Minister’s lack of political independence and performing some actions exceeded his regular duties became the main points of the accustations against him. These opinions, however, did not take into an account of political conditions, which had occured after Piłsudski’s death. In such eventful period, F. Sławoj Składkowski turned out to be an efficient Prime Minister and his cabinet the longest active of inter-war Poland.

Let R be a prime ring with extended centroid C, F a generalized derivation of R and n ≥ 1, m≥ 1 fixed integers. In this paper we study the situations:
1. $(F(x∘y))^m = (x∘y)ⁿ$ for all x,y ∈ I, where I is a nonzero ideal of R;
2. (F(x∘y))ⁿ=(x∘y)ⁿ for all x,y ∈ I, where I is a nonzero right ideal of R.
Moreover, we also investigate the situation in semiprime rings and Banach algebras.

Celem artykułu jest rozważenie zastosowania M. A. Krąpca teorii analogii do pokrewnych tożsamości kobiety i mężczyzny. W pierwszej części analizy zaprezentowane jest streszczenie i opis dwu form analogii w realistycznej metafizyce Krąpca: analogii infra-ontycznej i inter-ontycznej. W analogii infra-ontycznej rozważamy sposoby, w jakie pojedyncza kobieta lub pojedynczy mężczyzna mogą być uznani za analogicznych z samymi sobą jako szczególny rodzaj istoty ludzkiej, posiadającej tożsamą strukturę nie podlegającą zmianom. Następnie w analogii inter-ontycznej rozważamy, jak słowa „kobieta” czy „mężczyzna” mogą być użyte dla wskazania sposobów, w jakie kobiety są analogiczne do siebie nawzajem czy też mężczyźni są analogiczni do siebie nawzajem. Następnie przechodzimy do rozważenia, jak mężczyzna i kobieta mogliby być uważani za nawzajem analogicznych jako byty pierwotnie analogiczne. Niepowtarzalność pierwotnej analogicznej relacji można stwierdzić w zdolności tworzenia wspólnoty z darem płodności w wymiarze biologicznym, intelektualnym czy duchowym. Na koniec rozważone są teologiczne aspekty zastosowania teorii analogii do relacji pomiędzy wspólnotą osób ludzkich i Boga jako Wspólnoty Trzech Osób Boskich.

In 2009, Barrière, Dalfó, Fiol, and Mitjana introduced the generalized hierarchical product of graphs. This operation is a generalization of the Cartesian product of graphs. It is known that every connected graph has a unique prime factor decomposition with respect to the Cartesian product. We generalize this result to show that connected graphs indeed have a unique prime factor decomposition with respect to the generalized hierarchical product. We also give preliminary results on the domination number of generalized hierarchical products.

In the following work presents results of high carbon alloys from the Ni-Ta-Al-M system are presented. The alloys have been designed to have a good tribological properties at elevated temperatures. Despite availability of numerous hot work tool materials there is still a growing need for new alloys showing unique properties, which could be used under heavy duty conditions, i.e. at high temperatures, in a chemically aggressive environment and under heavy wear conditions. A characteristic, coarse-grained dendritic microstructure occurs in the investigated alloys in the as-cast condition. Primary dendrites with secondary branches can be observed. Tantalum carbides of MC type and graphite precipitations are distributed in interdendritic spaces in the Ni-Ta-Al-C and Ni-Ta-Al-C-Co alloys, while Tantalum carbides of MC type and Chromium carbides of M3C2 type appeared in the Ni-Ta-Al-C-Co-Cr and Ni-Ta-Al-C-Cr alloys. In all alloys γ’ phase is present, however, its volume fraction in the Ni-Ta-Al-C and Ni-Ta-Al-C-Co alloys is small. During heating from as-cast state in Ni-Ta-Al-C and Ni-Ta-Al-C-Co alloys, the beginning of the tantalum carbides precipitation process (MC type) followed (or simultaneous) by the intermetallic phase precipitation (γ’ – Ni3(AlTa)) was stated, while in Ni-Ta-Al-C-Co-Cr and Ni-Ta-Al-C-Cr alloys, besides Tantalum carbides also the Chromium carbides precipitation occurred. It means that the investigated alloys were partially supersaturated in as-cast state. Above 1050°C in all investigated alloys the γ’ phase is dissolving. In addition, the precipitation of secondary carbides during slow cooling was occured.
W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań nowych stopów z układu Ni-Ta-Al-M o dużym stężeniu węgla. Stopy te zostały zaprojektowane do pracy w wysokiej temperaturze i w warunkach silnego zużycia tribologicznego. Pomimo, że istnieje wiele materiałów narzędziowych do pracy na gorąco wciąż istnieje silna potrzeba poszukiwania nowych materiałów o unikatowych własnościach, które mogłyby pracować w bardzo trudnych warunkach, tj. wysokiej temperaturze, agresywnym chemicznie środowisku i w warunkach silnego zużycia tribologicznego. W stanie po odlaniu badane stopy cechują się charakterystyczną budową dendrytyczną. Widoczne są pierwszo i drugorzędowe dendryty. W stopach Ni-Ta-Al-C i Ni-Ta-Al-C-Co w obszarach międzydendrytycznych rozmieszczone są węgliki tantalu typu MC oraz grafit, natomiast w stopach Ni-Ta-Al-C-Co-Cr i Ni-Ta-Al-C-Cr węgliki tantalu typu MC oraz węgliki chromu typu Cr7C3. We wszystkich stopach występuje faza γ’, choć jej udział objętościowy w stopach Ni-Ta-Al-C i Ni-Ta-Al-C-Co jest nieduży. Podczas nagrzewania ze stanu lanego w stopach Ni-Ta-Al-C i Ni-Ta-Al-C-Co stwierdzono wydzielanie węglików wtórnych tantalu typu MC z następnym (lub równoczesnym) wydzielaniem fazy (γ’ – Ni3(AlTa)). Natomiast w stopach Ni-Ta-Al-C-Co-Cr i Ni-Ta-Al-C-Cr oprócz węglików wtórnych tantalu wydzielają się węgliki wtórne chromu. Oznacza to, że badane stopy w stanie po odlaniu były w stanie częściowego przesycenia. Powyżej 1050°C we wszystkich badanych stopach rozpuszczają się wydzielenia fazy γ’. Wtórne wydzielanie węglików stwierdzono również podczas wolnego chłodzenia od temperatury 1200°C.

The authors have made an attempt to enrich the knowledge about the influence of wax pattern washing process and its influence on the quality of the shell prime coat. Two types of wax were investigated: A7Fr/60 and KC2690. A7Fr60 is used for pattern fabrication, while KC2690 is typical sprue wax. The goal of work was to establish wax solubility accuracy in Trisol 60 Plus and Houghto Clean 530 versus time and influence of dipping time to wax samples surface quality. Additionally, after exposition of wax samples, their surface morphology was characterized with the use of laser profilometry and surface roughness measurement. The quality of formed prime coat was established by X-ray tomography. The measurement of wetting angle of the wax by binder was conducted. The results have shown that the main factor which influences the quality of the prime coat is surface wettability rather than wax surface roughness.

The European Union (EU) is continuously working towards further promoting and facilitating registration and development of OMPs. The goal of this article is to present a broad overview of existing legislation, programmes and incentives in the EU that allow for accelerated access of orphan drugs and high medical need products, as well as give some historical context and how these programs are interconnected. The authors conducted an explorative review of publicly available sources of regulatory intelligence policy and information on orphan drug and rare disease policies as well as information on accelerated assessment programs in the EU. The authors identified and looked into the following programs and initiatives: orphan drug legislation, accelerated assessment, conditional approval, Priority Medicine (PRIME), compassionate use programs, off-label use and RTU, Medicines Adaptive Pathways to Patients (MAPPs), ADAPT-SMART, HTA initiatives (EUnetHTA, Parallel Consultation), STAMP, IMI and IMI2 and the European Framework Programmes (incl. FP7 IDEAL, Asterix and Inspire). It can be concluded that promoting innovation and early access to medicines has been firmly put on the agenda in the EU, with various programs and initiatives, either national or EU-wide. Hurdles in regulatory science remain present, especially for rare diseases, but fundamental research as done in FP7 could lead to more efficient orphan drug development. Barriers in the field of HTA, pricing and reimbursement still need to be addressed to enhance patient access. The true effectiveness of all these programs will only become clear over time.

The purpose of this paper is to generate cryptographically strong elliptic curves over prime fields Fp, where p is a Mersenne prime, one of the special primes or a random prime. We search for elliptic curves which orders are also prime numbers. The cryptographically strong elliptic curves are those for which the discrete logarithm problem is computationally hard. The required mathematical conditions are formulated in terms of parameters characterizing the elliptic curves. We present an algorithm to generate such curves. Examples of elliptic curves of prime order are generated with Magma.

Nowadays, strong competition on the market forces machine parts manufacturers to look for new, more efficient and energy-efficient machining methods. In this paper the authors, in the context of these aspirations, have decided to introduce the readers to the advantages and disadvantages of the Coro Turn Prime reverse rolling strategy. The new machining strategy is presented on the example of finishing turning in relation to the analysis of experimental results.
W obecnych czasach, silna konkurencja na rynku zmusza producentów części maszyn do szukania nowych, wydajniejszych i energooszczędnych sposobów obróbki. Autorzy, w kontekście tych dążeń, w niniejszym artykule postanowili przybliżyć czytelnikowi zalety i wady strategii toczenia wstecznego Coro Turn Prime. Nową strategię obróbki przedstawiono na przykładzie toczenia wykończeniowego w odniesieniu do analiz wyników badań eksperymentalnych.
