Opis:
Most of the Fe-nitride phases have been studied in much detail. Nevertheless, there is still a debate about the most efficient, exact and controlled way of obtaining thin films of the desired iron nitride phases. Thin films of iron nitrides were deposited by Molecular Beam Epitaxy in Ultra High Vacuum. By changing the growth parameters we tried to obtain the α"-phase in its purest form. We worked also on iron mononitride, FeN (γ"-FeN) which is known to exist in different phases. The stoichiometry of the samples was determined by means of resonant Rutherford Backscattering Spectroscopy. The samples were studied by room temperature Conversion Electron Mössbauer Spectroscopy. We achieved as much as 24% of pure α"-phase and provide evidence of the existence of γ"-FeN with vacancies and of the transformation of nonmagnetic γ"-phase into magnetic ε-phase after time exposure.

We establish a unique factorization result into irreducibel elements in the partial semigroup of 2 × 2-matrices with entries in K[x] whose determinant is equal to 1, where K is a field, and where multiplication is defined as the usual matrix-multiplication if the degrees of the factors add up. This investigation is motivated by a result on matrices of entire functions.

The Prime Minister’s program speech, called the exposé, attracts particular attention. Its essence comes down to presenting the government’s program. In a few key words, the Prime Minister often summarizes the framework proposals of his government in terms of economic policy, social policy, education, health care, the army as well as individual social and professional groups. The words spoken by the Prime Minister, asking for confidence in the government that has just been formed set the direction for the entire Council of Ministers for subsequent years. In this regard, there is a need to examine the economic policy of every Prime Minister in office since 1989 considering entrepreneurs. What offer did the heads of government make to entrepreneurs, what kind of support could this group count on, how were the institutions supporting the economy and political institutions evaluated? The aim of this article is to find answers to the presented problems.

In the present paper, it is introduced the definition of a reverse derivation on a Γ-ring M. It is shown that a mapping derivation on a semiprime Γ-ring M is central if and only if it is reverse derivation. Also it is shown that M is commutative if for all a,b ∈ I (I is an ideal of M) satisfying d(a) ∈ Z(M), and d(a ∘ b) = 0.

2. (F(x∘y))ⁿ=(x∘y)ⁿ for all x,y ∈ I, where I is a nonzero right ideal of R.
Moreover, we also investigate the situation in semiprime rings and Banach algebras.

Opis:
An additive induced-hereditary property of graphs is any class of finite simple graphs which is closed under isomorphisms, disjoint unions and induced subgraphs. The set of all additive induced-hereditary properties of graphs, partially ordered by set inclusion, forms a completely distributive lattice. We introduce the notion of the join-decomposability number of a property and then we prove that the prime ideals of the lattice of all additive induced-hereditary properties are divided into two groups, determined either by a set of excluded join-irreducible properties or determined by a set of excluded properties with infinite join-decomposability number. We provide non-trivial examples of each type.

Nowadays, strong competition on the market forces machine parts manufacturers to look for new, more efficient and energy-efficient machining methods. In this paper the authors, in the context of these aspirations, have decided to introduce the readers to the advantages and disadvantages of the Coro Turn Prime reverse rolling strategy. The new machining strategy is presented on the example of finishing turning in relation to the analysis of experimental results.
W obecnych czasach, silna konkurencja na rynku zmusza producentów części maszyn do szukania nowych, wydajniejszych i energooszczędnych sposobów obróbki. Autorzy, w kontekście tych dążeń, w niniejszym artykule postanowili przybliżyć czytelnikowi zalety i wady strategii toczenia wstecznego Coro Turn Prime. Nową strategię obróbki przedstawiono na przykładzie toczenia wykończeniowego w odniesieniu do analiz wyników badań eksperymentalnych.

Gas turbines are used as marine prime movers but the market is dominated by the diesel engines (of course turbocharged but they are still diesels). The share of gas turbines is on a level of 4-5% in the worldwide shipping. It was presented the chosen parameters of Rolls-Royce gas turbine MT30 with nominal power 36 MW or 40 MW prepared for marine utilization. It is a good example of development of marine gas turbines with the trial to eliminate the effect of ambient temperature especially on turbine load. It was discussed the significance presented data for possibility of utilization on vessels. It was indicated the advantages and disadvantages of gas turbine sharing. It was mentioned the installation problems: pressure drop in inlet and outlet ducts on the accessible turbine power and specific fuel consumption. It was discussed what important parameters ought to be known for safe turbine operation and maintenance. There is a little information lack. The gas turbine ought not to be treat as a black box. In the end, some final remarks are presented.

Utilization of gas turbines on vessels is a reality. It was presented the examples of utilization on ships of United States Navy and the Rolls-Royce suggestion for sharing on merchant shipping. It was mentioned the advantages of gas turbine MT30 with nominal power 36 MW or 40 MW prepared for marine utilization. It was stated the characteristics of specific fuel consumption, the shaft power rating, the MT30 operating envelope with propeller characteristics as a power receiver. It was given propositions of vessel types for MT30 utilization. It was discussed the remarks on maintenance requirements and needed systems for upkeep the turbine in good technical state for the possibility of full nominal power independent on ambient temperature. It was discussed the requirements of emissions from exhaust gasses to the atmosphere in comparison gas turbines to diesel engines as a one of important problems for utilization engines as prime movers on vessels in merchant shipping. In the end, some final remarks with Rolls-Royce statements are presented.

Opis:
Commutative Jordan algebras are used to drive an highly tractable framework for balanced factorial designs with a prime number p of levels for their factors. Both fixed effects and random effects models are treated. Sufficient complete statistics are obtained and used to derive UMVUE for the relevant parameters. Confidence regions are obtained and it is shown how to use duality for hypothesis testing.

Opis:
The main issue of this paper is an attempt to find a decomposition theorem for infra-nilmanifolds in the same spirit as a result of A. Vasquez for flat Riemannian manifolds. That is: we look for infra-nilmanifolds with prime order holonomy which can be obtained as a fiber space with a non-trivial nilmanifold as fiber and an infra-nilmanifold as its base.
 In this perspective, we prove the following algebraic result: if E is an almost-Bieberbach group with prime order holonomy, then there is a normal subgroup Π of E contained in the Fitting subgroup of E such that E/Π is an almost-Bieberbach group either having a Fitting subgroup with center isomorphic to the infinite cyclic group, or having an underlying crystallographic group with torsion and a center coinciding with that of its Fitting subgroup.

Let R be a prime ring with multiplicative (generalized)- derivations (F, f) and (G, g) on R. This paper gives a number of central valued algebraic identities involving F and G that are equivalent to the commutativity of R under some suitable assumptions. Moreover, in order to optimize our results, we show that the assumptions taken cannot be relaxed.
