Opis:
The mathematical model of postproduction suspension concentration by microfiltration has been developed. This model describes a process conducted in a batch system with membrane washing by reverse flow of permeate. The model considerations concern filtration pseudocycles consisting of the filtration period and the membrane washing period. The balances of continuous phase volume, dispersed phase mass and energy, for each period of pseudocycle respectively, have been presented.

Opis:
The rolling bearings’ diagnosing methods used in exploitation diagnostics are not usually dedicated to the postproduction control. However, this does not mean, that they cannot be used there. A comprehensive comparison of the sensitivity of rolling bearings’ diagnosing methods to occurrence of faults and damage should be based on measurements of new, undamaged bearings and bearings with defects. An accurate determination of the location, size and origin of defects is expected from a set of testing bearings. The paper presents a comparison of three methods of damage introduction: sandblasting, pickling and spark erosion. Procedures for introducing damage into bearing’s races have been described. In addition, race’s geometries and vibration signals generated by operating bearings were compared.

Opis:
The text focuses on the specific features of the so-called 'cinematic turn' within the scope of visual culture emergent within the YouTube platform, particularly during its first, formative years. This turn takes place on the meta-level of the existing circulation of content enabled by YouTube, often being an autothematic reflection on this tool of cultural production. The vernacular aesthetics, a specific formal framework and a particular modus operandi of YouTube became the subject of artistic statements, sometimes in a form of subversive remix. Therefore I think of YouTube as a realm of art because of its meta-media practice that made the cinematic turn visible. It does not rely on straightforwardly understood production of (moving) images, but  postproduction, as understood by Nicolas Bourriaud. Moreover, the cinematic turn taking place within YouTube is different from the one practised by the avant-garde of 20th century, due its being not “seeing” or “writing” (as Dziga Vertov understood montage) but rather “overwriting”, to use language more adequate to the described sphere of digital culture. Artists use YouTube as an open library, working with its resources, applying techniques such as postproduction, remix, re-contextualisation and appropriation. Therefore it becomes a multimedia library, a “Mediateca Babel” of a kind, to recall J. L. Borges' idea. The examples mentioned in the text are of a postproductional nature, such as to-camera-performance and subversive “overwriting” of contents enabled with the circulationism typical for social media. Equally important are the strategies of recognising the cultural framework of YouTube, in the context of 20th-century media art history, as well as the platform’s interface. Also, there is the issue of relations between vernacular creativity and the art system because of “capturing” the amateur-generated content and transferring it to mainstream artworld. These examples let me argue that the cinematic turn is a form of postproduction, which enables the hidden mechanisms behind the circulation of moving images in the overloaded global network. The cinematic turn in the context of YouTube does not mean that cinema and its language are at home within this platform. Also, the meta-artistic way of “making” platform art does not turn YouTube into “art platform” (as understood by Olga Goriunova). Nevertheless, platform art may happen in this context as a result of working with the cinematic turn in its vernacular aspect, which makes it possible to reveal its key features and move them to the meta-level.

Opis:
The aim of this study was to investigate the soil microbial communities of a phosphogypsum waste heap. The soil microbial community structures can differ over time, as they are affected by the changing environmental conditions caused by a long-term exposure to different kinds of pollutions, like is the case of soil in the post-production waste area in Wiślinka (in the northern part of Poland) currently undergoing restoration. Our analyses indicated that the most abundant phyla were Proteobacteria, Acidobacteria, and Actinobacteria, and generally such an abundance is common for most of the studied soils. The most dominant class were Alphaproteobacteria, with their participation in 33.46% of the total reads. Among this class, the most numbered order was Sphingomonadales, whereas among this order the Sphingomonadaceae family was the most abundant one. The Sphingomonadaceae family is currently in the center of interest of many researchers, due to the ability of some of its members to utilize a wide range of naturally occurring organic compounds and many types of environmental contaminants. This kind of knowledge about microbial populations can support efforts in bioremediation and can improve monitoring changes in the contaminated environments.

Opis:
Technological hall where installation for wastewater from fish processing SUPERFISH plant treatment is located is not insulated. Therefore coagulation process during the whole year is carried out in various temperature conditions. This paper presents results of the research on efficiency of coagulation process with application of calcium hydroxide PIX-111 in various temperature conditions. Samples of wastewater ware taken after flotation node form pretreatment installation in SUPERFISH fish processing plant. Then wastewater underwent coagulation process with application of calcium hydroxide (dose 2 g/dm3), as a first variant, and PIX- 111 reagent (dose 0.35 g/dm3 as used in SUPERFISH pretreatment installation), as a second variant. Coagulation process was carried out in three temperatures: T1 = 3.5°C, T2 = 11°C and T3 = 21°C. After coagulation and sedimentation following parameters were determined: pH [-],biochemical oxygen demand BOD [mg O2/dm3], chemical oxygen demand COD [mg O2/dm3], total organic carbon TOC [mg/dm3], total suspension Z [mg/dm3], dissolved substances SR [mg/dm3] and conductivity S [mS/cm]. On the basis of gained research results it may be stated, that PIX-111 showed decidedly smaller variations of determined parameters values, than calcium hydroxide, which is a result of dissolubility of both reagents. Especially bigger dissolubility of calcium hydroxide in lower temperatures. Clear qualitative difference of wastewater after process of coagulation with calcium hydroxide and PIX-111 reagent in low temperatures (3.5°C) was affirmed. Most of wastewater pollution parameters reached smaller values in low temperatures (which prevails during autumn, winter and spring) in process of coagulation with calcium hydroxide, than with PIX-111 reagent, which, most probably, is connected with the inappropriate range of pH of this coagulant application. That is why in order to obtain values of pollution parameters within the range of standards in treated wastewater from SUPERFISH plant in dependence on temperature of coagulation process, PIX-111 reagent should be given up or apply in lower temperatures calcium hydroxide . Also in order to increase effectiveness of PIX-111 it is necessary to correct pH before coagulation with e.g. calcium hydroxide. In higher temperatures of coagulation process (21°C - average temperature in summer) with calcium hydroxide and PIX-111 reagent values of considered pollution parameters in wastewater are similar.
