    Only very few publications dealing with analysis of K. Marx’ views on development prospects of peasant farms indicate that also in his works one can find elements prompting an opinion that he perceived some possibilities of development for peasant farms. On the other hand, there are commonly emphasized these e le - ments in K. Marx' creative output, which testify to his uncompromising stance towards possibilities of implementing reproduction on enlarged scale by small- -commodity agriculture. The present article is devoted, in principle, to pointing out these elements in K. Marx' views, which may testify that he was inclined also to attributing to small-commodity agriculture certain chances for implementing reproduction on enlarged scale. There may be expanding these farms, which: — obtain surplus production above interest paid on price of land; — do not pay mortgage; — realize differential land rate I.

    Opis:
    Purpose – An analysis of the development in Polish agriculture from 1918 to 1939 and 1945 to1956. Research method – The article uses scientific historical and economical methods. Source texts of the state provenance were analysed: legal acts, printed sources (mainly statistical), archival records. In the economic studies, the analysis included statistical data, dynamics of phenomena, and comparative studies. Results –The analysis of changes in agriculture in Lower Silesia in the studied periods demonstrates that despite the under-investment and its marginal economic importance in Germany from 1918 to 1939, the agriculture in Lower Silesia was at a much higher level than the agriculture in pre-war Poland. Communism coming into power post 1945 and Poland entering the so-called Eastern Block hindered further development of capitalist agriculture in Lower Silesia. The agricultural structure created after World War II was not adapted to the character of farms taken over and the existing agricultural system was completely different from the socio-political assumptions based on agricultural reform and on the socialist character of agriculture prevailing from 1945 to 1956. Originality / value – The analysis of agricultural economy in the studied period was not sufficiently described in the source literature.

    This article aims to discuss public management and peasantry in the Amazon and its importance to Brazilian society as well as the struggle for land and the impacts of social movements in the construction and occupation of territories. Using as object of research the settlement martyrs of April located in Mosqueiro in the municipality of Belém that represents a relevant perspective for agrarian reform pointing out the main difficulties of the settlement against the lack of power To peasant family farming. The aim of this research is to discuss the need for greater public power investments in the family farming sector, which is increasingly shown as the main food producer for the Brazilian population, in addition to discussing throughout this text the Importance of settlements for the implementation of agrarian reform.
    O presente artigo tem por objetivo discutir a gestão pública e o campesinato na Amazônia e sua importância para a sociedade brasileira assim como a luta pela terra e os impactos dos movimentos sociais na construção e ocupação dos territórios. Utilizando como objeto de pesquisa o Assentamento Mártires de Abril localizado em Mosqueiro no município de Belém que representa uma perspectiva relevante para a reforma agrária apontando as principais dificuldades do assentamento frente ao descaso do poder público para com a agricultura familiar camponesa. Assim, para sistematizar tal artigo, os procedimentos de pesquisa têm abordagem qualitativa, tendo como instrumento os dados obtidos por intermédio de entrevistas e visitas de campo que auxiliaram no melhor entendimento da realidade abordada. Essa pesquisa tem como intuito dialogar sobre a necessidade de maiores investimentos do poder público no setor de agricultura familiar que cada vez mais mostra-se o principal produtor alimentício para a população brasileira, além de discutir ao longo deste texto a importância dos assentamentos para a implementação da reforma agrária.

    BackgroundThe article reveals the problems of organic farming in Ukraine. The research showed that small producers, such as family farms, have the ability to produce organic products with the appropriate requirements. It will give the chance to realize it further by means of such strategic directions as tax incentives for producers of organic products; implementation of the state program of sustainable development of rural areas, "green" tourism and rural cooperation; elimination of political levers of influence on the implementation of state agricultural policy; implementation of the state program to support the development of advisory services in the field of organic production.Material and methodsA SWOT analysis of the process of organic farming by private peasant household was conducted and the main opportunities and threats, strengths and weaknesses of its functioning and development were identified. The strategy of development of the Ukrainian organic agriculture of family farms has been chosen.ResultsThe SWOT analysis revealed the strengths and weaknesses of private farms, as well as external favorable and unfavorable factors for the development of organic farming. A clear and purposeful state policy will contribute to the effective realization of opportunities and elimination of the negative impact of potential threats.ConclusionsThe strategy of development of the Ukrainian organic agriculture of family farms has been chosen. The implementation of the proposed measures will increase the number of organic farming and organic production, improve the living conditions of rural people, rural development, increase the competitiveness of the economy and incomes.
