Przedstawiono problematykę doboru środków transportu do realizacji operacji transportowych na przykładzie zadania transportowego w łańcuchu dostaw. Opracowana metoda pozwala na wyznaczenie takiego planu realizacji operacji transportowych (wyznaczenie kolejności wykonywanych operacji transportowych określonymi środkami transportu), dla którego funkcja kryterium (koszt/czas) jest optymalna. Przeprowadzone badania symulacyjne wykazały, że zastosowanie tej metody umożliwia jednoznaczny dobór środków transportu do realizacji poszczególnych operacji transportowych przy minimalizowanym koszcie uwzględniającym założone ograniczenia.
The article discusses the issue of selection of the means of transportation to implement transport operations based on an example of transport task in supply chain. This method allows to determinate the plan of transport operations. (definition of the order of performed operations), with the optimal function criteria (time / cost). The results of simulation research have proven that this method allows an unambiguous selection of the means of transportation in order to implement the particular transport operations at a given cost and considering the limitations.

W artykule przedstawiona jest metoda optymalizacji procesu eksploatacji i niezawodności złożonych systemów technicznych oraz program komputerowy pozwalający na automatyczne zastosowanie proponowanej procedury. Program wyznacza chwilowe prawdopodobieństwa przebywania systemu w poszczególnych stanach eksploatacyjnych, które maksymalizują czasy przebywania systemu w podzbiorach stanów niezawodnościowych nie gorszych niż stan krytyczny, a następnie korzystając z otrzymanych rezultatów pozwala na predykcję optymalnych charakterystyk niezawodności i ryzyka złożonych systemów technicznych. Program jest zastosowany do optymalizacji niezawodności i ryzyka lądowego linowego transportera statków. Ustalone są następujące optymalne charakterystyki: optymalna bezwarunkowa funkcja niezawodności systemu, optymalne wartości średnie bezwarunkowych czasów przebywania systemu w podzbiorach stanów niezawodnościowych, optymalna funkcja ryzyka systemu oraz optymalny moment, kiedy funkcja ryzyka przekroczy ustalony poziom.
The presented computer program for the evaluation and prediction of the complex technical system reliability and risk of optimal characteristics is based on methods and algorithms of optimisation presented in [2, 6, 7]. The computer program determines the transient probabilities in particular operation states maximising the system lifetimes in the reliability-state subset not worse than the system critical reliability state and then using the obtained results to evaluate optimal reliability and risk characteristics of the complex technical systems. In order to illustrate the application of the computer program, we determined optimal reliability and risk characteristics of a ground ship-rope transporter. Presented in the paper is the reliability and risk optimisation of a real shipyard system that can be an example of a computer aid for the operation process of transportation systems.

In the paper an analytical model of port transportation systems environment and infrastructure influence on their operation processes is constructed and presented in an example of shipyard rope transportation systems in Naval Shipyard in Gdynia. A general semi-markov model of a system operation process is proposed and the methods of its parameters statistical identification are presented. Further, the shipyard rope transportation system and the ship rope elevator operation processes are analyzed and their operation states are defined. A preliminary collection of statistical data necessary to the ship transportation systems’ operation processes identification is included.

The paper is concerned with an application of the critical infrastructure operation process related to climateweather change model to identification and prediction of this process for the port oil piping transportation system. There are distinguished three different processes for the corresponding piping operating area. Further, using identified parameters of the piping operation process and the piping operating area climate-weather change processes, there are determined the unknown parameters of those processes. Namely, there are determined the probabilities of the processes staying at the initial states, the probabilities of the transitions between the states and the mean values of the processes' conditional sojourn times at particular states. Finally, there are predicted the main characteristics of the piping operation process related to climate-weather change processes at the distinguished operating area.

The subject of this paper are selected issues connected with modelling, prognosis and control of the process of operation and maintenance of a certain category of technical objects. The research object is a system of transport means operation. Assumptions for building a model of the operation process state changes of objects used in a complex system of operation and maintenance have been presented. The operation process model was built on the basis of an analysis of the space of states and events concerning technical objects, which are used in the analysed real transportation system. Source data necessary to make assumptions for the model development and its initial verification, has been obtained by means of the passive experiment method from a real system of transport means operation. An example of Markov decision process use for modelling and analysis of a public city transportation system operation process has been presented. Determination of values of indices characterizing the analysed process has been carried out basing on computer simulation of Markov decision process, being a mathematical model of technical objects operation process. A computing model has illustrated the entire study. Values of the model parameters have been estimated basing on the results of preliminary tests conducted in a real system of transport means operation. The model presented in this work has been built in such a way that it can be used for a wide category of problems connected with technical objects operation.

The combination of the results on the reliability of complex multi-state systems related to their operation processes and the results concerning the limit reliability functions of the multistate systems is proposed, to obtain the results on the asymptotic approach to the evaluation of the large complex multi-state systems reliability at the variable operation conditions. The asymptotic approach to the large complex system reliability evaluation and the large complex system limit reliability function are defined. Limit reliability functions of selected large complex systems composed of components having Weibull reliability functions are fixed. The way of using this results is illustrated by their application to the evaluation of reliability characteristics of the large complex port grain transportation subsystem composed of three large multistate non-homogeneous series systems and changing its reliability structure and its components reliability parameters at variable operation conditions.

This paper deals with the problems connected with evaluation of a technical system and its being later used for decision making in order to provide complex technical systems with appropriate operation quality. The research object is a real municipal transportation system. The assessment quality of the systems operation is based on the changes of the systems features values. The features describe the operation of the systems operators, controlled technical objects and the environment influence. The assessment and the support the demand quality of the systems operation from the safety, efficiency, economic and reliability point of view is the basic factor of the executed exploitation process. The notion of a system operation quality has been defined, a scheme of an assessment model has been presented and a random process, providing the basis for evaluation of a technical system, has been developed. On the basis of carried out experimental tests there have been distinguished four states of a system operation quality reflecting intervals of values of grades that were characteristic for given time moments. A model of system operation qualitative state changes, based on Markov chain, has been considered in this paper. A system of equations has been determined for a distinguished Markov chain on the basis of which a mathematical model for assessment and control of selected types of transportation systems will be developed.

The multi-state reliability function of complex system is defined and determined for the shipyard rope ship elevator. In this work, a method for assessment and control of availability of executive subsystem consisting of elementary subsystems of the type has been presented. The goal of the executive subsystem is to perform the assigned transport tasks over set routes, with a given frequency, according to a set schedule. A proper accomplishment of the transport task is possible only if the required number of technical objects (transport means) is prepared to perform the assigned task in a given time. Among many significant criteria used for assessment of a transport system operation there is one of special importance that is availability of the executive subsystem to perform the assigned tasks. Availability of the executive system to perform the assigned tasks depends on availability of particular technical objects (transport means) used in the system of transportation and their number. On the basis of the above statement, it can be said that control of the executive subsystem availability can be carried out both by selecting technical objects with the required availability and matching the required number of the objects which are to be used in the system in order to ensure proper accomplishment of the transport tasks. In this work there has been discussed a method for determination of the required availability of a single object as well as the required number of technical objects indispensable to perform appropriately the assigned transport task, on the basis of the transportation system availability assessment. Availability of the transportation system is determined on the basis of a mathematical model of the operation and maintenance process of technical objects, in the studied transportation system. Exemplary results have been presented on the basis of experimental data, obtained from the tests carried out in a real operation and maintenance system of transport means.
