    W artykule przedstawiono prace badawczo-rozpoznawcze przeprowadzone w obiektach podziemnych znajdujących się wzdłuż Murów Miejskich od Baszty Wodnej do Baszty Rycerskiej w Bystrzycy Kłodzkiej. Podczas tych prac zinwentaryzowano dostępne podziemia pod dziesięcioma kamienicami, pomieszczenia dawnego więzienia oraz Mury Miejskie. Wszystkie obiekty podziemne naniesiono na plan miasta oraz wykonano szczegółowy opis techniczny wraz z rzutami, przekrojami i dokumentacją fotograficzną. Wykonane prace są częścią planu rewitalizacji miasta.
    The paper presents the research work which made in underground objects location along Town Walls from Water Tower to Knight's Tower in Bystrzyca Kłodzka. There were inventory control open basements under ten apartments houses, accommodations of old prison and Town Wall. All the underground objects was draw on the city map. There was realized detailed description of technical state with view, crosssections and photographic documentations. The realized work was part of city revitalizations plan.

    W artykule przedstawiono geotechniczne i konstrukcyjne metody kompleksowego zabezpieczania Staromiejskiej Dzielnicy Opatowa. Opisano początkowe prace w tym zakresie oraz budowę geologiczną formacji lessowej występującej w rejonie Opatowa wraz z występującymi zagrożeniami w rejonie podziemnych obiektów. Przedstawiono również zakres prac badawczo-rozpoznawczych oraz zabezpieczająco-likwidacyjnych te obiekty. Opisano sposób zagospodarowania staromiejskich podziemi jako trasy turystycznej. Przedstawiono także podstawowe elementy Metody Z-S, stanowiącej schemat postępowania przy zabezpieczaniu staromiejskich dzielnic.
    The geotechnical and construction comprehensive methods of securing the old-town district of Opatów have been presented. The beginnings of securing works with the geological characterization of the loess formation occurring in the area of Opatów as well as hazards occurring in the area of the underground objects have been described. The scope of research and reconnaissance as well as security and liquidation of these objects was also presented. The method of developing the Old Town underground as an tourist route was described. Also the basic elements of the Z-S Method, which illustrates the procedure for securing old districts has been presented.

    Opis:
    The town of Trzebiatów is situated on the banks of the Rega river in the Northern Pomerania. The author presents a ^survey of the town’s development during the period covering the times from the 12th up to the 19th century. He also devotes a good deal of his consideration to conditoins prevailing in our days. In Trzebiatów there are: the Old Town district and a number of historic buildings sited within areas th a t once were situated outside the town walls (the extra-muros areas). Unfortunately, the majority of historic buildings are in poor technical condition as a consequence of heavy traffic that is being carried by streets running within an area of the Old Town district. In the town’s development plan have been foreseen the intensification of touring, the extension of services and the improving of housing situation have been foreseen. The main tendency of rehabilitation of the ancient hub of the town consists in safeguarding of the basic components of urban organism. This in turn necessitates the adaptation of numerous objects to their new functions. The detailed development plan furnishes a good basis for rehabilitation of the Old Town quarter where the services and housing are to be concentrated. The programme prepared anticipates the conservation or restoration of ancient buildings as well as their adaptation and in also the renovation and adaptation of the remaining buildings, the erection of new buildings and the modernization of traffic system. The possibilities to modernize the urban facilities to create the green belts and to introduce the small-scale architectural objects are also taken into account. Investigations carried out jointly by the Ateliers for Conservation of Cultural Property and the Experimental Division of the Institute of Architectural Planning, Technical University, Szczecin, enabled the reconstruction of the original parcelling scheme in locational town and at the same time the listing of the best preserved objects exhibiting medieval features in their- architectural forms. The author advances his suggestions as to the sequence of restoration works within the old urban hub. He also points to the problem of new building th a t should be subordinated to process of rehabilitation. He deals in detail with these kinds of new building th a t can be introduced into historic district of the town. Furthermore, he makes some suggestions concerning the solution of traffic system through introduction of single — direction traffic and, above all, of by -pass routes. The poor at present conditions of installation network and that of urban facilities make it necessary to carry out substantial improvements. It is proposed by the author to introduce to area subjected to rehabilitation the low and medium-height plants and shrubs. In conclusion dealt with has been co-operation between the Institute of Architectural Planning, Technical University, Szczecin, and the Ateliers for Conservation of Cultural Property the main objective of which consists in maintaining of the town of Trzebiatów as a living urban organism and also as a witness of the culture of the past and present times.

    W niniejszym referacie przedstawiono koncepcje stworzenia i dalszego rozwoju Podziemnej Trasy Turystycznej w Bystrzycy Kłodzkiej. W Staromiejskiej Dzielnicy tego miasta występuje szereg wyrobisk o bardzo ciekawej architekturze, których połączenie daje możliwość stworzenia jednej z największej atrakcji turystycznej miasta. Omówione zostały możliwości adaptacji istniejących podziemnych obiektów kubaturowych, a także miejsca w których niezbędne wydaje się być stworzenie wyrobisk udostępniających łączących poszczególne wyrobiska. Możliwe warianty pokazano na aktualnym planie miasta oraz przedstawiono program górniczych prac badawczo-poszukiwawczych związanych z adaptacją podziemnych obiektów zabytkowych.
    The paper presents concept of creation and development Underground Tourist Route in Bystrzyca Kłodzka. There were many interesting underground objects, which connecting might be create greatest tourist attraction of city. In further, presents about possibilities of adaptation existing underground objects and also spots where it seems to be necessary to create mining workings connecting certain objects. Alternative touristic routes are shown on current city plan. The work describes also the project of continuation mining research work connected with adaptation underground objects.

    This article describes revitalisation as a form of the contemporary reconstruction and restoration of urban tissue. Advances in social, economic and technical requirements generate adjustments in the architectural and urban layout. These changes result in destructive, regressive and remedial actions, contributing to the complexity of a city as a continuous phenomenon of cumulative transformations. Kupa Street is located in the Kazimierz District of Krakow. Having withstood successive phases of building renovation, this street constitutes an adequate case study for research in architectural and spatial revitalisation. This study includes a literature review, as a theoretical basis for the analysis and conclusions; and a participant observation of the design and development of the location. Moreover, long-term development projects, conservation and planning activities in the Kazimierz District were considered.
    W artykule podjęto próbę ukazania rewitalizacji jako szczególnej współczesnej formy procesu kompleksowej rekonstrukcji tkanki miejskiej po okresach regresu oraz podejmowanych cyklicznie działań mających na celu dostosowywanie układów architektoniczno-urbanistycznych do nowych wymagań społeczno-ekonomicznych i technicznych. Kolejne rekonstrukcje i modernizacje składają się na złożony fenomen trwania i ciągłości miasta poprzez nawarstwiające się przekształcenia. Ulica Kupa na krakowskim Kazimierzu, za sprawą kolejnych faz wymiany substancji budowlanej, jest przykładem stanowiącym materiał badawczy dla studium przypadku rewitalizacji w wymiarze architektoniczno-przestrzennym. Metody, jakimi posłużono się w badaniach to studia literaturowe, będące bazą teoretyczną dla analiz i formułowanych wniosków, oraz obserwacja uczestnicząca polegająca na udziale autora w pracach studialnych i projektowych zabudowy w omawianej lokalizacji. Ponadto istotnym elementem uzupełniającym jest wieloletnia obserwacja działań inwestorskich, konserwatorskich i planistycznych na terenie dzielnicy Kazimierz.
