Opis:
A general model of the equations of generalized thermo-microstretch for an infinite space weakened by a finite linear opening mode-I crack is solved. Considered material is the homogeneous isotropic elastic half space. The crack is subjected to a prescribed temperature and stress distribution. The formulation is applied to generalized thermoelasticity theories, using mathematical analysis with the purview of the Lord-Şhulman (involving one relaxation time) and Green-Lindsay (includes two relaxation times) theories with respect to the classical dynamical coupled theory (CD). The harmonic wave method has been used to obtain the exact expression for normal displacement, normal stress force, coupled stresses, microstress and temperature distribution. Variations of the considered fields with the horizontal distance are explained graphically. A comparison is also made between the three theories and for different depths for the case of copper crystal.

Opis:
The paper reviews the static equilibrium of a micropolar porous elastic material. We assume that the body under consideration is an elastic Cosserat media with voids, however, it can also be considered as an elastic microstretch solid, since the basic differential equations and mathematical formulations of boundary value problems in these two cases are actually identical. As regards the three-dimensional case, the existence and uniqueness of a weak solution of some boundary value problems are proved. The two-dimensional system of equations corresponding to a plane deformation case is written in a complex form and its general solution is presented with the use of two analytic functions of a complex variable and two solutions of the Helmholtz equations. On the basis of the constructed general representation, specific boundary value problems are solved for a circle and an infinite plane with a circular hole.

A two dimensional Cartesian model of a generalized thermo-microstretch elastic solid subjected to impulsive force has been studied. The eigen value approach is employed after applying the Laplace and Fourier transforms on the field equations for L-S and G-L model of the plain strain problem. The integral transforms have been inverted into physical domain numerically and components of normal displacement, normal force stress, couple stress and microstress have been illustrated graphically.

The eigen value approach, following the Laplace and Hankel transformation has been employed to find a general solution of the field equations in a generalized thermo microstretch elastic medium for an axisymmetric problem. An infinite space with the mechanical source has been applied to illustrate the utility of the approach. The integral transformations have been inverted by using a numerical inversion technique to obtain normal displacement, normal force stress, couple stress and microstress in the physical domain. Numerical results are shown graphically.
