    Opis:
    A multi-criteria model for determining the order size for materials used in production has been presented. It was assumed that the consumption rate of each material is a random variable with a known probability distribution. Using such a model, in which the purchase cost of materials ordered is limited, three criteria were considered: order size, probability of a lack of materials in the production process, and deviations in the order size from the consumption rate in past periods. Based on an example, it has been shown how to use the model to determine the order sizes for polyurethane adhesive and wood in a hard-coal mine.

    Opis:
    One of the rationalization areas is the material supply process. New tasks of material supply are: integration of supply with the operation of the entire system, especially at the product design stage, effective use of material resources, reduction of the level of supply costs from the point of view of production costs. In the conditions of unit and small batch production the materials requirement needs to be carefully planned and optimized due to the use of many different kinds, types and sizes of materials and dynamic changes of demand over time. In this situation there are needed tools enabling the measurement of production costs for particular tasks on the basis of currently realized processes. One of these tools is activity based costing which is a groundwork for decision making process in the material supply area. Basing on activity based costing, a model of materials requirements planning was developed, which considers minimizing the number of different kinds and sizes of materials by using alternative materials and, consequently, lowering production costs.

    Opis:
    In the work some problem receiving the elements of the bimatrix hierarchical non-zero sum game is presented. In this aim the Stackelberg duopoly model was used. To explain a proposed method the example concerning two mining enterprises output a coal is discussed.
    W artykule rozważono metodę otrzymywania elementów bimacierzy hierarchicznej gry o sumie niezerowej za pomocą Modelu Duopolu Stackelberga. Zaproponowaną metodę zilustrowano na przykładzie dwóch przedsiębiorstw górniczych, rozwiązujących problem planowania i kontrolowania zapotrzebowania materiałowego.
