    Christian faith is based on the mystery of the Holy Trinity which, therefore, plays an indispensable role in the understanding of the particular truths of faith. This statement refers also to the Eucharist. The New Testament, especially the Gospel of John, conveys an explicit depiction of the links between the Holy Trinity and the Eucharist. The New Testament tradition has found its continuation in theology, and it has been predominantly seen in the Eucharistic Prayers. This paper highlights certain Trinitarian aspects of the mystery of the Eucharist, in order to point out further possibilities, both for deepening the understanding of this mystery and for more integral incorporation of it into faith and Christian experience.

    Autor artykułu podejmuje problematykę miejsca Eucharystii w inicjacji chrześcijańskiej w aspekcie historycznoliturgicznym. Zwraca uwagę na obecną w pierwszym tysiącleciu zasadniczą świadomość jedności i właściwej kolejności sakramentów inicjacji chrześcijańskiej: chrzest –bierzmowanie–Eucharystia. Jej zanik zauważa na przełomie XII i XIII wieku wraz z odejściem od praktyki Komunii św. dzieci. Wskazuje, że w okresie potrydenckim doszło do odwrócenia kolejności udzielania sakramentów inicjacji chrześcijańskiej: chrzest–Eucharystia–bierzmowanie, a ten stan utrwalił dekret Quam singulari (1910), który jeszcze bardziej oddzielił od siebie te sakramenty. Autor zwraca uwagę, że powstałe po Soborze Watykańskim II dwa modele inicjacji chrześcijańskiej związane są z Ordo baptismi parvulorum (1969), określającym praktykę chrztu dzieci, po którym po kilku latach następuje I Komunia, a w późniejszym czasie – bierzmowanie, oraz z Ordo initiationis christianae adultorum (1972), dotyczącym przygotowania do bierzmowania i Eucharystii dorosłych. Odwołując się do poglądów Salvatore Marsilego, autor artykułu dokonuje oceny modeli. Za pełnowartościowy uznaje ten związany z Ordo initiationis christianae adultorum, w którym punktem docelowym jest Eucharystia. Model ten zachowuje teologiczną kolejność sakramentów i traktuje Eucharystię, a nie bierzmowanie, jako dopełnienie i szczyt inicjacji chrześcijańskiej. Pozwala także na właściwe określenie chrztu jako sakramentu włączającego w misterium zbawienia, wymagającego jednak bierzmowania i Eucharystii do pełnego włączenia w rzeczywistość Kościoła.
    The author of the article takes on the issue of the place of the Eucharist in Christian initiation in its historical-liturgical aspect. He draws attention to the fundamental awareness during the first millennium of the unity and proper sequence of the sacraments of Christian initiation: Baptism—Confirmation—Eucharist. Its disappearance can be noted at the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries, together with the practice of Holy Communion for children. He points out that during the post-Tridentine era the order of conferring the sacraments of initiation was reversed: baptism-Eucharist-confirmation, and this state was perpetuated by the decree Quam Singulari (1910), which separated the sacraments from each other even more. The author draws attention to the two models of Christian initiation rising from Vatican Council II, the Ordo Baptismi Parvulorum (1969) emphasizing the practice of baptism of infants followed several years later by First Communion and at a later time, confirmation; and the Ordo Initiationis Christianae Adultorum (1972), concerning preparation for confirmation and the Eucharist for adults. Referring to the views of Salvatore Marsili, the author of the article makes an evaluation of these models. He sees the one connected to the Ordo Initiationis Christianae Adultorum as well-balanced, with its focal point being the Eucharist. This model retains the theological sequence of the sacraments and treats the Eucharist, rather than confirmation, as the fullness and summit of Christian initiation. It also allows for a proper designation of baptism as the sacrament of inclusion into the mystery of salvation but still requiring confirmation and the Eucharist for full inclusion in the reality of the Church.

    Przedmiotem artykułu jest problematyka aspektu liturgicznego kanonicznej wizytacji biskupiej w parafii. Za cel opracowania postawiono ukazanie i wyjaśnienie na podstawie określonych przepisów, różnego rodzaju celebracji liturgicznych realizowanych w czasie wizytacji. Tak określone zamierzenie badawcze zrealizowano poprzez opis i gruntowną analizę obowiązujących przepisów i tekstów Magisterium kościelnego. Analiza wymienionych źródeł pozwoliła na sformułowanie kilku głównych wniosków. Po pierwsze wskazano, że wizyta duszpasterska jest jednym z najważniejszych wyrazów zaangażowania biskupa diecezjalnego w służbę powierzonemu mu ludowi Bożemu. Po drugie ukazano udzielanie sakramentów przez biskupa, a po trzecie, przedstawiono problematykę celebracji pozasakramentalnych form kultu Bożego.
    The subject of this article is the problem of the liturgical aspect of a bishop's canonical visitation in a parish. The aim of the study was to show and explain, on the basis of specific provisions, the various liturgical celebrations performed during the visitation. This research was realised through a description and a thorough analysis of the current regulations and texts of the Church Magisterium. The analysis of the above-mentioned sources allowed several main conclusions to be drawn. Firstly, it was pointed out that pastoral visitation is one of the most important expressions of the diocesan bishop's commitment to serve the people of God entrusted to him. Secondly, the administration of the sacraments by the bishop is shown, and thirdly, the issue of the celebration of non-sacramental forms of divine worship is presented.

    Andrzej Koszewski jest jednym z najwybitniejszych kompozytorów Polskich ubiegłego stulecia. Szczególne miejsce w jego dorobku zajmuje muzyka chóralna, która stanowi przeważającą część całej twórczości artysty. Aby ukazać jej różnorodność, w pierwszej części artykułu przedstawiono klasyfikację muzyki chóralnej Koszewskiego według różnych kryteriów i krótko ją scharakteryzowano. Następnie poświęcono uwagę muzyce sakralnej. Zgodnie z tematem pracy przedstawiono argumenty za wykorzystaniem jej w ramach liturgii. W oparciu o literaturę i przykłady dwóch odmiennych stylistycznie mszy udało się wykazać, że muzyka sakralna Andrzeja Koszewskiego posiada wszelkie cechy muzyki liturgicznej. Ze względu na jej wysoki poziom artystyczny oraz głęboki wyraz duchowy warto zadbać o to, by była wykonywana nie tylko podczas koncertów, ale także w ramach liturgii.
    A. Koszewski was one of the most outstanding Polish composers of the last century. He passed away on 17 February 2015. The most prominent of his works are choral pieces which were briefly characterized and classified according to various criteria. The attention is also given to his sacred music. The author presents arguments for its use in the liturgy. Based on the literature and two masses in a different stylistics it was shown that sacred music of A. Koszewski has got all the qualities of liturgical music. Considering its high artistic level and its deep spiritual expression, the music should be performed not only during concerts but also during the liturgy.

    Chrystusowi w Eucharystii przysługuje kult adoracji. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie problematyki wystawiania do adoracji postaci eucharystycznych w aspekcie prawno-liturgicznym. W pierwszej części artykułu ukazano kwestię obecności Chrystusa w Eucharystii pod postaciami chleba i wina. W części drugiej przedstawiono problematykę wystawienia Chrystusa eucharystycznego pod postacią chleba, natomiast część trzecia ukazała zakaz wystawiania do adoracji Krwi Chrystusa.
    Christ in the Eucharist is entitled to the cult of adoration. The aim of the article is to present the issues of presenting Eucharistic species for adoration in the legal and liturgical aspect. The first part of the article presents the issue of Christ's presence in the Eucharist under the form of bread and wine. The second part presents the problem of exposing the Eucharistic Christ in the form of bread, while the third part presents the prohibition of exposing the Blood of Christ to adoration.

    The article reveals some artistic practices of the laity (iconography, mosaic art), carried out in the St. Elisabeth Women’s Orthodox Monastery of the city of Minsk. Any artistic work performed within the monastery is subordinated to the center and purpose of worship – the Liturgy, therefore it should be created and perceived only with faith. The icon-painting workshop is organized to create images of the Incarnation, and in general forms monastic art. Like any other art, monastic art is the result of monastic art, where religious ideas are embodied in artistic and figurative forms. Artistic practices are elements of spiritual culture and are embodied in the artistic activities of the laity in the monastic workshops. They are represented by artistic works of monastic art that carry religious meanings and meanings. The main property of monastic art is that the very form of the work is determined by the religious canon, which acts as a dogma that permeates not only the structural level, but also the meaningful one. The canon in the Byzantine culture was an important and significant aesthetic category, which formed the basis of the monastic artistic culture of the Orthodox tradition. Thus, the religious content is not simply superimposed on the artistic work, but has a close relationship with the form. This phenomenon is clearly embodied in the artistic practice of the lay icon-painters of the St. Elisabeth Women’s Orthodox Monastery and the creation of a number of artistic samples of monastic art.

    The article presents the a brief overview of the liturgy at the end of antiquity (5th–7th centuries). The author introduces the reader to the political situation of the empire in the late fifth and sixth centuries. Then presents a celebration of the Mass at the end of the 6th century, and in the 7th century. The rest of this article lists the sources from this period: Sacramentarium Veronense, Gelasianum Vetus, books for lectors and books of chants. The article concludes with the celebration of the liturgy according to the Ordo Romanus Primus.
    Artykuł przedstawia zwięzłe omówienie liturgii pod koniec starożytności (V–VII wiek). Autor wprowadza czytelnika w sytuację polityczną cesarstwa na przełomie V i VI wieku. Następnie prezentuje odprawianie mszy pod koniec VI wieku i w wieku VII. W dalszej części artykułu wymienione są źródła z tego okresu: Sacramentarium Veronense, Gelasianum Vetus, lekcjonarze i psałterze. Artykuł kończy opis celebracji liturgii według Ordo Romanus primus.

    W artykule została podjęta kwestia wpływu liturgii na rozwój teologicznej prawdy o Wniebowzięciu Najświętszej Maryi Panny. Śledząc jej treść zauważa się interesującą zależność między liturgią a Stolicą Apostolską. Z Jednej strony liturgia, stanowiąc wyznanie prawd niebiańskich, przy poddaniu Najwyższemu Urzędowi Nauczycielskiemu Kościoła, jest źródłem, które może dostarczać argumentów oraz świadectw dla rozeznania pewnego szczegółowego punktu nauki chrześcijańskiej. Natomiast z drugiej strony Stolica Apostolska nie tylko wyraża zgodę na wprowadzenie święta „Wniebowzięcia” Najświętszej Maryi Panny, lecz również ustalała autorytatywnie co jest jego treścią. To z kolei przyczynia się do wyjaśnienia przedmiotu obchodzonej uroczystości. Materiał źródłowy badanego zagadnienia stanowi wybrana polska literatura teologiczna w okresie od uroczystego ogłoszenia Wniebowzięcia 1.11.1950 r. do 1965 r. Studiując ją dostrzega się, iż mariolodzy budują swe wypowiedzi na kanwie Pisma Świętego i Tradycji Kościoła. Zgłębiając osiągnięcia polskiej mariologii dostrzega się kreatywną, samodzielną interpretację badanych źródeł. Dzięki temu wspomniani mariolodzy nie zatrzymują się tylko na studiowaniu treści źródeł, lecz sami prezentują nowe rozwiązania, które z kolei stanowią wkład w rozwój myśli mariologicznej. 
    In the article the question of the influence of liturgy on the development of theological truth of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was concerned. Analysing its content, an interrelation between liturgy and the Holy See can be noticed. On the one hand, liturgy, being a profession of Heaven’s Truths and surrendered to the Supreme Teaching Office of the Church, is the source which can deliver arguments and testimonies for recognizing certain point of the Christian’s teaching. On the other hand, not only does the Holy See give its consent to introducing the celebration of “the Assumption” of the Blessed Virgin Mary, but also it stated authoritatively its content. That, in turn, contributes to the explanation of the matter of the celebration. The source materials for the article are chosen pieces of Polish theological literature from the period between the Announcement of the Assumption (1st November,1950) and 1965. Having studied the sources one can notice that Mariology experts base their knowledge on the Holy Bible and the Church Tradition. Analysing the achievements of Polish Mariology, one can see a creative and independent approach towards the sources. Hence, the texts are not only studied, but also new conclusions are drawn. These, in turn, create a significant input into the development of Mariology.

    This article deals with the issue of the liturgy of the Mass in 1965. This form of celebration is a direct result of the Constitution on the Liturgy of the Second Vatican Council. Unfortunately, due to the pace of post-Council changes, the problem raised has not received much research. However, the liturgy of 1965 is important insofar as it represents the springtime of the Church’s liturgical renewal. This article presents the liturgical renewal of the Mass, showing the relationship between the changes and the decisions of the Constitution on the Holy Liturgy, which allows us to discern the hermeneutics of continuity between the Missal of John XXIII and the Missal of 1965.
