Opis:
The purpose of the article is to present the current state of development of on-line services in retail banking and to discuss their future development. It covers a high level analysis of functional morphology of on-line banking in view of historical banking channel development. The final study provides a view on key strategies that can be used in the future to foster further development of on-line business models. The strategies are divided into organic growth, partnerships/intermediation and accelerated growth. Concluding remarks point out the leading role of banks in the digitalization of economic systems and support for e-government. They also emphasize the potential for further development of on-line banking towards universal service platforms which provide a secure environment for execution of auditable business transactions between known parties.
Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie obecnego stanu rozwoju usług on-line w bankowości detalicznej oraz dyskusja ich dalszego rozwoju. Artykuł obejmuje ogólną analizę morfologii funkcjonalnej bankowości on-line w kontekście historycznego rozwoju kanałów w bankowości. Strategie podzielone są na wzrost organiczny, partnerstwo/pośrednictwo oraz przyśpieszony wzrost. W zakończeniu jest wskazana wiodąca rola banków w digitalizacji systemu ekonomicznego oraz wsparcia usług e-administracji (e-government). Podkreślono również potencjał do dalszego rozwoju bankowości on-line w kierunku uniwersalnych platform usługowych, które zapewniają bezpieczne środowisko do realizowania audytowalnych transakcji biznesowych pomiędzy znanymi stronami.

Opis:
The article has presented comparative tests of the rheological characteristics of lowdensity polyethylene (LDPE) with an addition of calcium carbonate (CaCO3), containing 7, 14, 21 and 28 wt % of filler, respectively. The measurements were carried out by an off -line measuring technique (using a modified dead-weight plastometer), an on-line measuring technique (with a gear pump capillary rheometer) and an in-line measuring technique (with an extruder rheometer). The rheological parameters of the polymeric materials were determined based on the Ostwald de Waele powerlaw model at a temperature of 170 °C. The effect of calcium carbonate addition on the characteristic of operation of each of the employed instruments, the flow curves, the viscosity curves, and the values of power-law index (n) and consistency factor (K) have been determined.
Przedstawiono badania porównawcze charakterystyk reologicznych kompozytów polietylenu małej gęstości (LDPE) z dodatkiem 7, 14, 21 i 28 % mas. węglanu wapnia (CaCO3). Zastosowano techniki pomiarowe typu off-line (zmodyfikowany plastometr obciążnikowy), on-line (reometr kapilarny z pompą zębatą) oraz in-line (reometr wytłaczarkowy). Parametry reologiczne materiałów polimerowych wyznaczano w temperaturze170 °C na podstawie modelu potęgowego Ostwalda-de-Waele. Określano wpływ dodatku węglanu wapnia na charakterystykę pracy każdego z zastosowanych urządzeń, przebieg krzywych płynięcia, przebieg krzywych lepkości oraz wartości wykładnika płynięcia (n) i współczynnika konsystencji (K).

This article describes new method of insulation monitoring for de-energized devices. Many loads such as extinguisher pumps, emergency supply units, slide valve drives, antismoke lids, motors for pumps etc. are switch on only occasionally or works sequentially so during the shut- down periods the insulation faults may cause. Switching the device on may then lead to the tripping of the protective devices, that's why insulation monitoring turn out to be unnecessary.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie widoczności polskich miast w cyberprzestrzeni oraz cyberprzestrzennych powiązań pomiędzy nimi. Widoczność miast w cyberprzestrzeni została określona poprzez analizę wyników uzyskanych przy zastosowaniu wyszukiwarki internetowej Google (liczba wskazań dla nazwy miasta). Powiązania pomiędzy miastami przybliżono jako współwystępowanie nazw dla danej pary miast. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań stwierdzono, iż pozycja oraz powiązania pomiędzy miastami w cyberprzestrzeni są ściśle związane z tymi ze świata realnego. Zaprezentowane badania wskazują, iż analiza zasobów informacyjnych sieci WWW może być stosowana w badaniach nad znaczeniem miast oraz relacjami pomiędzy nimi.
The purpose of this paper is to discuss cyberspatial visibility of Polish cities and their connections. The visibility of cities is determined based on the results obtained by Googling phrases connected with cities. The connections in cyberspace are approximated using the analysis of co-occurrence of terms (shared presence) connected with pairs of cities. On the basis of the research, it can be stated that the position and the connections between the cities in cyberspace are closely related to those found in the real world. The research indicates that the information analysis of Web resources can be applied to determine the significance of cities and connections between them.

The difficulty in determining the electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) line parameters of ferromagnetic semiconductors has been addressed. For these materials, the resonance line is very broad and lies at low resonance fi eld, so that only a part of the line can be detected experimentally. Moreover, the line is of asymmetric (Dysonian) shape as described by the line shape parameter α. We have compared values of line parameters derived by computer fi tting of the whole experimental EPR line to the Dyson function (or modified Dyson function) with the values obtained by applying this procedure to the left and the right half of the line.

The paper describes the design and test results of a programmable digital delay line implemented in an FPGA device (Kintex-7, Xilinx). The operation of the delay line is based on the modified dual interpolation Nutt method that combines two actions, i.e.: (1) counting the periods of a reference clock and (2) time interpolating within a single clock period. The first action provides an extremely wide range of the introduced delays (> 9 minutes), while the second one allows reaching relatively high delay resolution (2 ns) with a timing jitter as low as 35 ps (until delay of 1 μs). The high metrological parameters of the designed delay line are achieved at the expense of increased difficulty in implementation of the method in an integrated circuit. The major problems to be solved were the synchronizations of input signals as well as synchronous and asynchronous parts of the system, which were effectively provided with the use of two dual-edge synchronizers, a clock signal logic level detection system and associated synchronizers.

Tematem artykułu jest projekt autonomicznego robota poruszającego się wzdłuż wyznaczonej trasy. Konstrukcja została wykonana z laminatu epoksydowego, który jest jednocześnie obwodem drukowanym. Do rozpoznawania trasy (czarnej linii na białym tle) służą transoptory odbiciowe. Napęd robota stanowią dwa silniki prądu stałego, a sterownie odbywa się na zasadzie różnicy prędkości obrotowej obu kół. Wysoką przyczepność zapewniają opony wykonane ze specjalnego miękkiego tworzywa. Dodatkowo, w celu zwiększenia docisku do podłoża zastosowany został napęd tunelowy. Jednostką sterującą jest 32-bitowy mikro-kontroler STM32F103 z rdzeniem Cortex-M3. Całość zasilana jest akumulatorem litowo-polimerowym 2S 7,4 V. Niewielka masa (ok. 130 g) oraz wysoka przyczepność pozwalają robotowi osiągać średnie prędkości przejazdu rzędu 2,5 m/s. Robot jest zwycięzcą największych zawodów robotów odbywających się na terenie Polski (Robotic Arena 2011 - Wrocław - 10.12.2011) oraz jedną z najszybszych konstrukcji tego typu w Europie.
This article describes Line Follower - autonomous robot that can follow a path. The chassis is made of epoxy laminate which is also printed circuit. To detect the track, robot uses feedback from optical IR sensors. The drive train is differential type which consists two DC motors with gearboxes. Left and right motor are responsible of moving the robot forward and are also used to turn robot in any required direction by changing the speed of left and right wheel. Soft rubber tires are used to get a higher traction. Additionaly to prevent from slips EDF unit with brushless motor is installed. Central processor unit is STM32F103 microcontroller with Cortex M3 core. Power source is Li-Poly 2S 7,4 V battery. Little weight (130 g) and high traction allow robot to reach a speed of 2,5 m/s. Robot is the winner of the biggest competition in Poland (Robotic Arena 2011 - Wroclaw - 10.12.2011) and one of the fastest construction in Europe.

The paper presents a method of identification parameters of shaft line alignment in case of the lack of producers’ data. Proper shaft line alignment is often a problem for repair shipyards, for aged ships without sufficient documentation. Author proposed combined experimental-analytical method for identified some existing parameters and checking (and eventually correcting) power transmission system’s foundation. Specialised software has been developed for shaft line alignment calculations with influence coefficients. An example analysis has been performed for cargo ships with medium-speed main engine and second one with slow-speed propulsion system. Multivariant computations supported by measurements of the ships’ shaft line have been carried out.

For a given induced hereditary property , a -coloring of a graph G is an assignment of one color to each vertex such that the subgraphs induced by each of the color classes have property . We consider the effectiveness of on-line -coloring algorithms and give the generalizations and extensions of selected results known for on-line proper coloring algorithms. We prove a linear lower bound for the performance guarantee function of any stingy on-line -coloring algorithm. In the class of generalized trees, we characterize graphs critical for the greedy -coloring. A class of graphs for which a greedy algorithm always generates optimal -colorings for the property = K₃-free is given.

We prove several results about the structure of 2-factors in iterated line graphs. Specifically, we give degree conditions on G that ensure L²(G) contains a 2-factor with every possible number of cycles, and we give a sufficient condition for the existence of a 2-factor in L²(G) with all cycle lengths specified. We also give a characterization of the graphs G where $L^k(G)$ contains a 2-factor.

Permanent and unabated interest of the internet users in on-line purchases, constantly encourages further numerous groups of the new net users to take advantage of a vast range of offers on the e-markets. Potential buyers, despite general difference, varied opinions, positions and cultures, subconsciously gather into communities which have one feature in common, namely the reason why they decide to buy on-line. Hereby article presents the most crucial aspects connected with consumer behaviour and all its characteristics. Detailed description of terminology lays the foundations enabling further considerations, creating in thereby the opportunity to deeper analysis of the formulae and notions emerging from this area. Classification of the factors which influence e-consumer behaviour encompasses the key aspects shaping the general profile of the potential buyers of goods on--line. This creates an overall belief concerning particular criteria contributing to the decision making process in e-commerce transactions. Methods of influence appealing to subconsciousness and patterns of behaviour, which are included in each and every advertisement created by a seller and directed at potential buyer, heavily affect the position concerning the selection and consequently, the purchase of the chosen product. Variety of widely understood methods affecting a consumer which exist in the e-commerce, tends to make present techniques modernized, also, to build innovative offers, consequently getting adjusted to potential customers expectations, thus craving bigger profits. Therefore the primary aim of hereby article is to demonstrate the most important aspects of the selected notions accompanied by the reference to current research which enables achieving particular data, with the use of the analysis of e-consumer behaviour, shaped on the basis of the factors and different methods , simultaneously building own techniques.

This paper presents automatic test bench used for measurement of selected high frequency parameters of a power copper line. The aim is fast estimation of line behavior in context of Power Line Communication (PLC). The hardware interface uses sinusoidal waveform generator, digital oscilloscope and a PC-class computer. The software interface created in LabVIEW environment performs signal processing and data presentation.

Opis:
The possibilities for using relative vibrations for the on-line monitoring of critical machines have been presented in the article. An engine applied in the cement industry and made on sliding bearings Server as an example. In the article there have been included the following descriptions: of the measurement technique, the measurement system, the applied sensors and the vibration signal transducers. The rules have been described which should be followed while selecting the spot where the control equipment is to be installed as well as the assembly method. Possible sources of interferences, which can cause serious failures of the performer measurement of the vibration signal, have been indicated. The diagnostic possibilities in a continuous operation of material electric machines have been presented in the study after performing the vibroacoustic analysis of the trajectory of the rotor shaft motion, distribution of measurements of relative vibrations in the trend function and the spectrum of the occurring relative vibrations.
W artykule przedstawiono możliwości wykorzystania drgań względnych do monitoringu on-line napędów krytycznych. Za przykład posłużył silnik wykonany na łożyskach ślizgowych, pracujący w przemyśle cementowym. Zawarto w nim opis metody pomiaru, układu pomiarowego, stosowanych czujników i przetworników sygnału drganiowego. Opisano zasady, którymi należy kierować się przy doborze miejsca instalacji aparatury pomiarowej oraz sposobu jej montażu. Wskazano możliwe źródła zakłóceń, mogących prowadzić do wystąpienia istotnych błędów realizowanego pomiaru sygnału drganiowego. W pracy zaprezentowano możliwości diagnostyczne w ruchu ciągłym, istotnych maszyn elektrycznych, po dokonaniu analizy wibroakustycznej trajektorii ruchu wału wirnika, rozkładu pomiarów drgań względnych w funkcji trendu oraz widma występujących drgań względnych.

Opis:
Power system state estimation is a process of real-time online modeling of an electric power system. The estimation is performed with the application of a static model of the system and current measurements of electrical quantities that are encumbered with an error. Usually, a model of the estimated system is also encumbered with an uncertainty, especially power line resistances that depend on the temperature of conductors. At present, a considerable development of technologies for dynamic power line rating can be observed. Typically, devices for dynamic line rating are installed directly on the conductors and measure basic electric parameters such as the current and voltage as well as non-electric ones as the surface temperature of conductors, their expansion, stress or the conductor sag angle relative to the plumb line. The objective of this paper is to present a method for power system state estimation that uses temperature measurements of overhead line conductors as supplementary measurements that enhance the model quality and thereby the estimation accuracy. Power system state estimation is presented together with a method of using the temperature measurements of power line conductors for updating the static power system model in the state estimation process. The results obtained with that method have been analyzed based on the estimation calculations performed for an example system - with and without taking into account the conductor temperature measurements. The final part of the article includes conclusions and suggestions for the further research.

In this paper we develop a general convergence theory for nonmonotone line searches in optimization algorithms. The advantage of this theory is that it is applicable to various step size rules that have been published in the past decades. This gives more insight into the structure of these step size rules and points to several relaxations of the hypotheses. Furthermore, it can be used in the framework of discretized infinite-dimensional optimization problems like optimal control problems and ties the discretized problems to the original problem formulation.

Linear stability analysis of incompressible attachment-line flow is presented within temporal and special frameworks. The global solution method used for solving the eigenproblem yields a full spectrum of the least damped waves. Analyses are made for the cases with blowing and suction. The equations of linear stability theory are solved using the spectral collocation method. The results obtained are compared with those presented by Hall (1984), Spalart (1988) and Theofilis (1998) and with the available experimental data.
Stabilność nieściśliwej warstwy przyściennej na skośnej krawędzi natarcia. Stateczność warstwy przyściennej skośnej krawędzi natarcia badana jest w pracy za pomocą liniowej teorii niestabilności. Równania liniowej teorii niestabilności wraz z warunkami brzegowymi tworzą uogólnione zagadnienie własne, które rozwiązywane jest metodą spektralnej kolokacji. Analiza stateczności została przeprowadzona dla przepływów z odsysaniem i wydmuchiwaniem. Uzyskane rezultaty porównano z wynikami teoretycznymi innych autorów oraz z wynikami badań eksperymentalnych.

Assembly lines are special flow-lines production systems which are typical in the industrial production of high quantity standardized commodities. Assembly line balancing is based on evenly distribution of operations between workstations so that each idle time of the machines was minimal. It is assumed that operation times on the machines and the precedence relationship existing between the operations which results from the technology of the production line and the cycle time or the number of machines are known. In the paper short description about general assembly line problem and cost-oriented is described. Next the author presents description of used algorithms. A numerical example is calculated and the results are discussed. Presented paper shows that cost oriented assembly line balancing problem differs from time oriented problem and the differences are underlined.

We show that the out-radius and the radius grow linearly, or "almost" linearly, in iterated line digraphs. Further, iterated line digraphs with a prescribed out-center, or a center, are constructed. It is shown that not every line digraph is admissible as an out-center of line digraph.

Celem opracowania jest zaprezentowanie najczęściej stosowanych narzędzi promocji internetowej w kontekście krytycznego ich osądu dokonanego z perspektywy klienta. W szczególności zwrócono uwagę na emocje, które towarzyszą odbiorcom przekazów reklamowych oraz ich oddziaływanie na dokonywane przez klienta decyzje zakupowe. Opracowanie oparto na analizie najnowszej literatury przedmiotu, raportach ICAN Research Harvard Business Review oraz własnych badaniach ankietowych, przeprowadzonych w 2013 roku wśród 319 użytkowników Internetu. Wynika z nich, iż znaczna część działań promocyjnych prowadzonych przez Internet ma agresywny charakter, powodujący irytację klientów, co przekłada się na ich małą skuteczność. Reklama on-line jest rozpoznawalna, ale jej wpływ na decyzje zakupowe jest dyskusyjny. Zawarte w opracowaniu wnioski mogą stanowić inspirację do doboru właściwych narzędzi promocyjnych. Artykuł ma charakter badawczy.
An aim of the study is to present the most often applied tools of Internet promotion in the context of critical judgement thereof made from the customer’s perspective. In particular, attention was paid to the emotions accompanying recipients of advertising messages as well as impact on the purchasing decisions being made by the customer. The study is based on a review of the recent subject literature, ICAN Research Harvard Business Review reports, and own surveys carried out in 2013 among 319 Internet users. They show that a considerable part of promotional actions carried out via the Internet is of aggressive nature causing customers’ vexation, what translates to their low efficacy. The on-line advertising is recognisable but its impact on purchasing decisions is disputable. The contained in the study conclusions may be inspiration to make choice of proper promotional tools. The article is of the research nature.
Цель разработки – представить чаще всего применяемые инструменты интернет-продвижения в контексте их критической оценки, проведенной из перспективы клиента. В особенности обратили внимание на эмоции, которые сопутствуют адресатам рекламных сообщений, а также их воздействие на принимаемые клиентом решения о покупке. Разработка основана на анализе новейшей литературы предмета, отчетах ICAN Research Harvard Business Review, а также на собственных опросах, проведенных в 2013 году среди 319 интернет-пользователей. Из них вытекает, что значительная часть мероприятий по продвижению, осуществляемых по интернету, имеет агрессивный характер, вызывающий раздражение у клиентов, что ведет к низкой их резуль- тативности. Рекламу онлайн замечают, но ее влияние на решения о покупке – спорный вопрос. Содержащиеся в разработке выводы могут быть инспи- рацией к подборке соответствующих инструментов по продвижению. Статья имеет исследовательский характер.

Kluczową częścią systemu logistycznego przedsiębiorstw kurierskich są przewozy liniowe (LH) o charakterze wahadłowym. Jednocześnie postulat minimalizacji kosztów działalności wymusza na przedsiębiorstwach sterowanie kluczowym dla nich parametrem, jakim jest koszt jednostkowy przewozu paczki głównie poprzez sterowanie pracą przewozową. Z perspektywy optymalizacji w bieżących warunkach rynkowych działalności procesów LH, inicjuje to szereg problemów decyzyjnych, zarówno w warstwie strategicznej, jak i operacyjnej. W praktyce, ze względu na czynniki ograniczające, możliwe jest wdrożenie tylko części rozwiązań optymalizacyjnych, co w ujęciu systemowym umożliwić może racjonalizację działalności przedsiębiorstwa.
Parcel companies base their economic activity mostly on the line haul transfers. At the same time, due to the fact that they want to minimize the costs of their activity they have to control the crucial parameter, that is the unitary cost of parcel transport. From the optimization point of view, in the current market conditions of the LH processes it leads to a number of decision problems, both in the strategic and in the operational tier. In practice, due to various restrictions, it is possible only to introduce some of the optimization solutions, which, in the systematic approach, allows the enterprises to rationalize their activity.

Efekt ROPO (Research On-line Purchase Off-line) charakteryzuje zachowania nabywcze, w których konsumenci po wyszukaniu informacji o produktach w internecie dokonują ich zakupu w placówkach stacjonarnych. Rozwój efektu ROPO związany jest z wirtualizacją działalności handlowej i usługowej (dostępu do informacji o ofercie handlowej i usługowej w internecie), jak również ze wzrostem zainteresowania konsumentów poszukiwaniem informacji w internecie (również dokonywaniem zakupów on-line). W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań desk research dotyczących uwarunkowań rozwoju efektu ROPO w Polsce oraz wyniki badań field research przeprowadzonych na ogólnopolskiej próbie konsumentów, dokonujących zakupów dóbr i usług konsumpcyjnych.
ROPO effect (Research On-line Purchase Off-line) is characterized by purchasing behavior in which consumers are searching Internet for product information and make their purchase in stores. Development ROPO effect is a results of virtualization commercial and service activities (access to information about product on the Internet), as well as of an increase in consumer interest in searching Internet for information (as well as making purchases online). In the article presents desk research results concerning development conditions ROPO effect in Poland and field research conducted on a sample of consumers who purchase consumer goods and services.
