Autor na przykładzie myśli Hannah Arendt podejmuje kwestię prawdy w polityce. Poddaje analizie relacje pomiędzy prawdą a polityką, prawdą a opinią, prawdą rozumu a prawdą faktu, stanowiskiem filozofa a stanowiskiem obywatela. Kwestie te rozważa na tle związków zachodzących między postępem technicznym a doskonaleniem środków przemocy. Doskonalenie to doprowadziło do wojen. Konsekwencją tego stanu rzeczy jest uformowanie się systemu zorganizowanego kłamstwa jako środka walki z prawdą w polityce.
The author of the article, based on original interpretation of the Hannah Arendt’s concept, presents the problem of the truth in politics. He analyses the relations between the truth and politics, the truth and the opinion, the truth of the mind and the truth of the fact, the position of the philosopher and the position of the citizen. These issues are considered in the context of the relation between the technical progress and the improvement of the means of violence. This improvement has led to the wars. The consequence of this state of affairs is the system of organized lie as a weapon against the truth in politics.

In this paper we decided to look closer and to analyze Nabokov’s attitude towards Fyodor Dostoyevsky writings, expressed in Lectures on Russian literature. Critical, full of negation and disagreement approach, of immigrant writer, towards classic is visible in many his works. Fragment of Lectures..., denoted to Dostoyevsky works, perfectly and accurately illustrate relations of Nabokov to famous classic writer. It is full of contradictions, illogical expressions and judgments. Nabokov treats works of classic writer very emotionally, which is brightly expressed in his Lectures on Russian literature. Easily detected by a reader, but denied and hated by Russian-American writer connection, surfaces through analysis of each separate work of him, and become a key to interpretation of his own works.

Проблема формирования методической компетентности будущих учителей в разных ее аспектах и для разной целевой аудитории была предметом обсуждения во многочисленных методических исследованиях. Различные методики формирования методической компетентности сосредотачиваются на выделении ее основных компонентов или составляющих для дифференциации целей, задач, принципов, способов, этапов получения знаний и выработки навыков, умений, стратегий. Роль визуализации научной статьи как средства формирования методической компетентности до сих пор не была предметом исследования, результаты которого были бы описаны в доступных авторам публикациях. Целью данной работы было выяснение того, какую роль может играть визуализация научной статьи в формировании методической компетентности будущих учителей иностранного языка. Для этого был проведен анализ определений методической компетентности, с учетом нашего теоретико-практического опыта проведения лекций и семинаров на основе студенческих визуализаций научно-методического текста. Рабочей гипотезой данного исследования, в связи с многолетним практическим опытом, было утверждение, что для формирования методической компетентности можно использовать визуализацию научных статей. Основным ориентиром здесь было понимание того, что оптимальные результаты будут получены, если студенческие визуализации научной статьи будут включены в контекст теоретического образования и методического языкового развития будущих учителей. Материалом исследования стали определения методической компетентности и структурно-содержательные составляющие научно-методической статьи, а также графические средства визуализации. Исследованный материал дает нам возможность приоритизировать терминологическую компетентность как тот компонент методической компетентности, который можно успешно формировать с помощью визуализации научно-методической статьи путем моделирования грамотной последовательности схематически-табличной наглядности, имитирующей процессы восприятия научного текста и порождения на его основе методических рассуждений. Для того, чтобы процесс формирования методической компетентности становился интегрированным, с относительно одновременным развитием ее остальных компонентов, возникает необходимость его включения в групповое джигсо-лекционирование.
The problem of building the methodological competence of future teachers in its various aspects and for different target audiences has been the subject of discussion in numerous methodological studies. Various techniques for the formation of methodological competence focus on identifying its main components or components for differentiating goals, objectives, principles, methods, stages of obtaining knowledge and developing skills, abilities, and strategies. The role of visualization of a scientific article as a means of methodological competence-building has not yet been the subject of research, the results of which would be described in publications available to authors. The purpose of this work was to find out what role the visualization of a scientific article can play in the formation of methodological competence of future teachers of a foreign language. With this end in view, an analysis of the definitions of methodological competence was carried out, linking to our theoretical and practical experience in conducting lectures and seminars based on students’ visualizations of scientific and methodological texts. The working hypothesis of this study in connection with many years of practical experience was that the visualization of scientific articles can be used to develop methodological competence. The main guideline was based on the understanding that optimal results would be obtained if students’ visualizations of a scientific article were set in the context of theoretical education and methodological language development of future teachers. The material of the research was the definitions of methodological competence and the structural and content-related components of a scientific and methodological article, as well as graphic visualization tools. The studied material afford an opportunity to prioritize terminological competence as that component of methodological competence that can be successfully formed by visualizing a scientific and methodological article by modelling a competent sequence of schematic-tabular visibility, imitating the processes of perceiving a scientific text and generating methodological reasoning on its basis. In order for the process of formation of methodological competence to become integrated, so that its other components develop relatively concurrently, it is necessary to embed this process in group jigsaw lectures.

Lecturer-Listener Relationship in German and Polish Conference Talks The aim of the article is to describe the communication strategies that are used to establish the lecturer-listener relationship in spoken academic discourse in German and Polish. The GeWiss corpora (https: //gewiss.uni-leipzig.de) are the empirical basis of this research. The analysis is focused on metacommunicational and metatextual phenomena (including some addressative forms), which influance the cohesion and the coherence of the conference talks and also affect the means that are used by the speaker to somehow identify with the audience.
Das Ziel des Beitrags sind kommunikative Strategien, die dazu dienen, einen direkten Bezug des Vortagenden in wissenschaftlichen Vorträgen zu seinem kollektiven Rezipienten – dem Publikum – herzustellen. Es wird untersucht, wie die Vortragenden eine Relation zum Publikum gestalten und wie sie sich in dieser Relation positionieren. Der institutionelle Rahmen, in den die Konferenzvorträge eingebettet sind, sorgt dafür, dass der Vortragende ein Gleichgewicht zwischen dem Ich-Bezug als Autor eines wissenschaftlichen Textes und dem Wir-Bezug als Mitglied einer akademischen Gemeinschaft zu finden hat. Die Frage, wie die deutschen und die polnischen Vortragenden die Ich- / Wir- und Sie-Perspektive herstellen, wird zum Thema dieses Beitrags. In the article Imagination and creation versus politics and power – on the example of Paris lectures by Adam Mickiewicz Ewelina Głowacka proposes to examine the vision of history created by Mickiewicz in lectures, in which many conviction about the past were built not so much on facts but on the imagination. The analysis mainly concerns the poet's etymological ideas contained in two lectures of the third course about the origin of the Slavs, where he told the ancient history of these people by studying the etymology of individual words. Using postcolonial theory, the author demonstrates that the historiosophy of lectures given at the Collège de France was a thoughtful strategy designed for specific political effects. As a professor of Slavic literature and languages at the cathedral in Paris, Mickiewicz assumes the role of a spokesperson for the Slavs in the West. The main goal of the poet's speeches was associated with the mission of freeing the Slavs from subordination to Western European countries, and in particular, of winning the independence of the Republic of Poland. As a poet and a visionary, Mickiewicz knew that such changes do not take place only in the military and official domains, but also, and perhaps above all – in the sphere of the imagination. Thus, the poet tried to create a new Slavic myth that would empower the Slavic culture and increase its political significance. In this context, theories of Hobsbawm's invented tradition and Anderson's imagined community are recalled, as they allow for a better understanding of the community-forming dimension of the narrative built by the poet. To outline the origins of Mickiewicz's postcolonial attitude, the poet's early works were also discussed, as already in his student days he exhibited cognitive skepticism about the official historiography and noticed some forms of symbolic violence. From an early age, he also knew that imagination is an indispensable tool of science.

Lectures on psychology at the theological seminary of diocese of siedlce Te author undertakes to present the history of psychology understood as a feld of science and reveals its place in the area of formation of candidates for the priesthood on the example of Diocese of Siedlce. In a brief outline, he shows the development of the science, its particular schools and major modalities. He points at emerging new views, giving an overview of ways to practice contemporary psychology. Based on the source data, he presents the history of lectures on psychology for seminary students conducted in Diocese of Siedlce, and presents the lecturers. In the last part, going on the ofcial statements of the Magisterium of the Church, he presents two ways of the presence of psychological activities in formation to the priesthood and presents their practical application to the emerging new pastoral and disciplinary challenges.

Opracowanie to wskazuje, jakie znaczenie odegrały wykłady z psychologii wygłaszane przez Idziego Radziszewskiego w Katolickim Uniwersytecie Lubelskim. Wykłady te miały dwa etapy: (1) nauczanie psychologii ogólnej w minimum programowym ogólnouniwersyteckim na każdym kierunku przez samego Idziego Radziszewskiego; oraz (2) zainicjowanie specjalistycznych wykładów na starszych latach studiów z działów psychologii teoretycznej lub stosowanie jako odpowiedź na zapotrzebowanie studentów oraz kadry ich wykładowców. Artykuł unaocznia, jak nauczanie psychologii ogólnej na każdym kierunku studiów już w I semestrze I roku dało studentom nowego polskiego uniwersytetu – wspólny język pojęciowy zarówno do konwersacji naukowych, jak i jako narzędzie rozmów w sytuacjach codziennych czy kontaktach koleżeńskich. Samo zdanie egzaminu z psychologii ogólnej już na I roku dało studentom rodzaj wiedzy nabytej na zasadzie imprinting, który towarzyszył im przez cały okres ich studiów. Mając na uwadze korzyści, jakie odniósł z wykładów psychologii sam Uniwersytet, musimy wskazać na kształtowanie przez te wykłady klimatu i kultury organizacyjnej nowej instytucji naukowej, jaką była w Lublinie pierwsza wyższa uczelnia. Fundament dzieła edukacyjnego, jakim były „wykłady z psychologii w KUL”, zbudował pierwszy rektor tej uczelni ks. prof. Idzi Radziszewski poprzez swoją charyzmę w odniesieniu do ludzi, kompetencje merytoryczne, autentyczność i świętość swojego życia kapłańskiego, akademickiego i osobistego.
This study shows the importance of the lectures on psychology delivered by Idzi Radziszewski at the Catholic University of Lublin. These lectures had two stages: (1) teaching general psychology at the primary university level in every field of study by Idzi Radziszewski himself; and (2) initiating specialized lectures in the senior years of studies in theoretical or applied psychology as a response to the needs of students and their faculty members. The article shows how teaching general psychology in each field of study already in the first semester of the first year, gave students of the new Polish university a common conceptual language both for scientific conversations and as a tool for conversations in everyday situations or with friends. The mere passing of the exam in general psychology already in the first year of study gave students a kind of imprinting knowledge that accompanied them throughout their studies. Bearing in mind the benefits that the University itself gained from the lectures on psychology, we must point to the shaping of the atmosphere and organizational culture of the new scientific institution by these lectures, which was the first university in Lublin. The foundation of the educational work, which were “lectures in psychology at the Catholic University of Lublin” was established by the first rector of this University, Rev. prof. Idzi Radziszewski through his charismatic approach to people, substantive competence, authenticity and sanctity of his priestly, academic and personal life.

Te Holy Scriptures Lectures at the St. John Paul II Major Seminary of the Dio-cese of Siedlce from 1918 to 2018 Tis article was intended to show how the St. John Paul II Major Seminary of the Diocese of Siedlce over the last hundred years fulflled the basic requirement of formation for the priesthood, which is the intellectual introduction of alumni into the knowledge of the Holy Scriptures. In the 20th century, the Church in Poland experienced many dif-fculties connected above all with the First and Second World Wars and the communist regime. Nevertheless, the seminary of the Diocese of Siedlce, thanks to the continuous reading of the current Magisterium’s guidelines and the involvement of more and more educated lecturers, constituted an environment for preparing alumni for the demanding and responsible ministry of the Word.

The author describes various logical and linguistic oppositions which influence the choice between a perfective and imperfective verb, verb prefixes and aspectual classes. The description of events and the narrative are considered the main functions of the perfective aspect. The use of the imperfective aspect in legal texts, such as criminal-law codes, is also discussed in the work.
Autor opisuje różne opozycje logiczne i językowe mające wpływ na wybór między czasownikiem dokonanym a niedokonanym, prefiksy czasownikowe oraz klasy akcjonalne sytuacji. Za podstawową funkcję aspektu dokonanego uznaje się wyrażanie zdarzeniowości oraz budowanie narracji w tekście. Autor podaje dane frekwencyjne czasowników niedokonanych i dokonanych w poszczególnych formach gramatycznych i interpretuje je zgodnie z przedstawioną teorią. Wśród form zawartych w książce są konstrukcje nieopisane do tej pory w polskich podręcznikach gramatyki, np. quasi-perfekt (konstrukcja typu mam zrobione). Odrębnie omawia użycie aspektu niedokonanego w języku prawnym, w tym w kodeksie karnym, wyjątkowe na tle innych języków słowiańskich. W podsumowaniu proponuje algorytm użycia aspektu w polszczyźnie. Dodatek zawiera zarys historii aspektologii, opis aspektu w polskich słownikach oraz nowe propozycje znakowania tej kategorii w korpusach.

Ajdukiewicz's lectures, edited from extant stenographic records, are concerned with various types of semantic function. Lecture III explains the 'behavioural' and associative role of signs, introduces the notion of 'field of representation', and describes a special sort of representation based on isomorphism. Lectures IV and V discuss two theories of linguistic meaning: the 'expressivist' view, according to which an object is used as a linguistic expression if it is employed in order to convey information, and the 'associationistic' view, according to which a linguistic expression must be capable of evoking thoughts in the mind of the addressee. The criteria are regarded as both too broad and too narrow. Lectures VI-VIII present a more sophisticated semantic theory based on Husserl's distinction between 'presenting content' and intention. Ajdukiewicz points out that it does not take into account the compositional aspect of linguistic expressions.

Tematyka artykułu dotyczy wczesnej komunikacji pastoralnej ks. Karola Wojtyły. Przedmiotem badań jest cykl wykładów filozoficzno-teologicznych „Rozważania o istocie człowieka”, które ks. Wojtyła wygłosił w 1949 roku w parafii św. Floriana w Krakowie. Tematycznie i metodologicznie wywody wpisują się w paradygmat nauk o komunikacji społecznej. W procesie badawczym komunikowanych treści zastosowano metodę analizy lingwistycznej oraz metodę analizy retorycznej. Celem opracowania jest ukazanie walorów retorycznych oraz cech perswazyjnych w komunikowaniu ks. Wojtyły.
The topic of the article concerns the early pastoral communication of Fr. Karol Wojtyła. The subject of the research is a series of philosophical and theological lectures “Considerations about the Essence of Man”, which Fr. Wojtyła delivered in 1949 in the parish of St. Florian in Krakow. Thematically and methodologically, the arguments fit into the paradigm of social communication science. In the research process of communicated content, the method of linguistic analysis and the method of rhetorical analysis were used. The aim of the study is to show the rhetorical values and persuasive features of the communicating of Fr. Wojtyła.

This article aims to show the other (different from the mission or parish retreats) forms of preaching of the word of God adapted to the local needs, which should be organised by the parish priests in accordance with the decision of the diocesan Bishop.The first part of the article shows various forms of preaching of the word of God in the parish.The second part points out the sources and content of “other forms of preaching” of the word of God. The third part examines important types of “other forms of preaching” in the parish.
Celem artykułu jest ukazanie innych (różnych od misji czy rekolekcji parafialnych) form przepowiadania słowa Bożego, dostosowanych do miejscowych potrzeb, które proboszczowie winni organizować zgodnie z zarządzeniem biskupa diecezjalnego.W jego pierwszej części przedstawiono różne formy przepowiadania słowa Bożego w parafii.W drugiej części wskazano na źródła i treść „innych form przepowiadania” słowa Bożego, natomiast część trzecia została poświęcona ważniejszym rodzajom „innych form przepowiadania” parafialnego.
