Opis:
Additive Manufacturing (AM) consist in producing parts by depositing material in successive layers. These step-by-step processes proposes new innovative directions for high value components: complex geometries are accessible without strong efforts (such as hollow or lattice structures which dramatically reduce the component weight while keeping their at least similar mechanical properties), assemblies can be simplified, spare parts can be realized at demand... Hence, AM has benefitted from large research efforts over the last decade, almost all existing industrial sectors have benefitted from them. This paper introduces some opportunities and the associated challenges attached to Additive Manufacturing, to produce large metallic components for naval aeronautics and train industries. In particular, two innovative approaches are discussed in details: hybrid manufacturing and twin manufacturing. Hybrid manufacturing consists in integrating AM together with other processes for the realization of components, with the objective to benefit from the interests of each process while avoiding its drawbacks. Hence, AM can realize complex geometries or offer low buy-to-fly ratios while high speed machining generates very good surface properties (position, roughness). Processes can be carried out sequentially or simultaneously on the features to manufacture and finding the optimal manufacturing work plan can be challenging. The paper introduces some hybrid approaches developed in the laboratory. Twin manufacturing uses models and multiphysics simulation methods to create a digital clone of the process implementation within the manufacturing environment. Manufacturing preparation and optimization can be carried in the virtual workshop where various configurations and choices can be tested before being selected. To enhance its accuracy, the digital twin can also be fed by monitoring data captured during the process. Several digital twins developed in the laboratory are provided. The paper is illustrated with several proof-of-concept parts made with SLM, LMD, WAAM and hybrid approaches in the laboratory. Among them, a hollow propellers that has the same hydrodynamics efficiency for a reduced weight for the naval industry, an aircraft structural panel that demonstrates simplified assemblies increased performance/mass ratio, a train component that shows the ability to produce structural parts at demand.

This review paper highlights the hybrid manufacturing processes which integrate the additive and subtractive processes performing on one hybrid platform consisting of the LMD (laser metal deposition) unit and CNC machine tools. In particular, some important rules and advantages as well as technological potentials of the integration of different AM technique and finishing CNC machining operations are discussed and overviewed. Some representative examples such as formation of difficult features around the part periphery, deposition of functional layers and coatings and repair of high-value parts in aerospace industry are provided. Some conclusions and future trends in the implementation of hybrid processes are outlined.

W artykule omówiony został aspekt naprężęń w warstwie wierzchniej części kształtowanych w sposób hybrydowy, gdzie elementy są najpierw frezowane, a następnie nagniatane. Naprężenia w warstwie wierzchniej odgrywają bardzo ważną rolę, ponieważ są odpowiedzialne m.in. za rozwój pęknięć, korozję i kawitację. Charakteryzacja i badania naprężeń w warstwie wierzchniej umożliwiają predykcję zachowań części podczas eksploatacji. Podczas prowadzonych badań potwierdzono wprowadzenie korzystnych, ściskających naprężeń w warstwie wierzchniej. Dla różnych średnic kulek nagniatających odnotowano istotne różnice wartości naprężeń wywołane zmienną wartością nacisków przy tej samej wartości siły nagniatania Fn.
In this paper was presented the aspect of stress in the top layer part shaped in a hybrid technology, where the elements are first milled and then burnished. Stresses in the surface layer play a very important role because they are responsible, among others, for the development of cracks, corrosion and cavitation. Characterization and stress research in the surface layer allow prediction of parts behavior exploitation. During the research was confirmed the being of positive, compressive stresses in the surface layer. For the different diameters of the burnishing balls there were significant differences in stress values due to the variable pressure value at the same value of the burnishing force Fn.

The paper addresses the problem of forecasting in manufacturing systems. The main aim of the research is to propose new hybrid forecasting models combining artificial intelligencebased methods with traditional techniques based on time series – namely: Hybrid econometric model, Hybrid artificial neural network model, Hybrid support vector machine model and Hybrid extreme learning machine model. The study focuses on solving the problem of limited access to independent variables. Empirical verification of the proposed models is built upon real data from the three manufacturing system areas – production planning, maintenance and quality control. Moreover, in the paper, an algorithm for the forecasting accuracy assessment and optimal method selection for industrial companies is introduced. It can serve not only as an efficient and costless tool for advanced manufacturing companies willing to select the right forecasting method for their particular needs but also as an approach supporting the initial steps of transformation towards smart factory and Industry 4.0 implementation.

In this study, a method for manufacturing polymer/metal hybrid structure is presented in which traditional plastic injection machine was converted to plastic injection forming (PIF). In this method, deforming of the metal and adhering the metal to the polymer is done in one step. In the experimental study, a special mold within rectangular cavity was used during PIF process. Aluminum plates of different thicknesses were used as the metal parts of the structure. The injected polymers were pure polystyrene and elastomer-added polystyrene. The deformability of the Al plates was examined under different injection pressures. In order to provide adhesion between metal and polymer, an adhesive of elastomeric nature was applied on the metal plate prior to injection molding. Bending test was applied to determine the flexural strength and maximum deflection of the polymer/metal hybrid structures. The obtained results were satisfactorily acceptable in improving the method for designing and manufacturing polymer/metal hybrid structures in one step.

Purpose: The paper is a comprehensive review of the literature on additive and hybrid technologies for products manufacturing using powders of metals, their alloys and ceramics. Design/methodology/approach: Extensive literature studies on conventional powder engineering technologies have been carried out. By using knowledge engineering methods, development perspectives of individual technologies were indicated. Findings: The additive and hybrid technologies for products manufacturing using powders of metals, their alloys and ceramics as the advanced digital production (ADP) technologies are located in the two-quarters of the dendrological matrix of technologies "wide-stretching oak" and "rooted dwarf mountain pine" respectively. It proves their highest possible potential and attractiveness, as well as their fully exploited attractiveness or substantial development opportunities in this respect. Originality/value: According to augmented holistic Industry 4.0 model, many materials processing technologies and among them additive and hybrid technologies for products manufacturing using powders of metals, their alloys and ceramics are becoming very important among product manufacturing technologies. They are an essential part not only of powder engineering but also of the manufacturing development according to the concept of Industry 4.0.

Dążenie do zmniejszenia masy jest jednym z najważniejszych czynników w procesie projektowania jednostek morskich oraz innych środków transportu. Niższa masa konstrukcyjna umożliwia zastosowanie bardziej ekonomicznego systemu napędowego, a tym samym zmniejszenie kosztów produkcji i eksploatacji, jak również wpływa korzystnie na środowisko naturalne. Jednym ze sposobów zmniejszenia masy konstrukcji jest zastosowanie materiałów kompozytowych, a wykorzystanie na ich składowe recyklatów podnosi tylko ich atrakcyjność ze względu na ekonomiczność i ekologię. W niniejszej pracy przedstawiono najważniejsze problemy związane z wytwarzaniem kompozytów poliestrowych z udziałem recyklatów. Scharakteryzowano technologię wytwarzania tych materiałów. Celem pracy było opisanie wpływu struktury, dodatków i rodzaju fazy wzmacniającej na efekt formowania. Wytworzono kompozyt, o osnowie z żywicy poliestrowej zawierający recyklatową piankę poliuretanową oraz hybrydowy kompozyt o osnowie z żywicy poliestrowej wzmacniany recyklatową pianką poliuretanową i włóknem szklanym. Zaprezentowano również właściwości fizyko-chemiczne wytwarzanego materiału tj. gęstość, nasiąkliwość, udarność oraz wytrzymałość na rozciąganie.
Attempts to reduce product weight will probably never stop as weight is one of the most important factors in the process of designing seagoing ships, road vehicles and aircraft. Lower construction weight of vehicles enables the application of a smaller propulsion system, and thereby the reduction of production and operating costs, as well as limitation of the environmental impact of these vehicles and other structures. One of the ways to reduce the weight of structures and vehicles is the application of composite materials. This work addresses major problems associated with the production of recycled polyester composites. Besides an outline of the manufacturing process of these materials, this study discusses the test results concerning issues associated with the production of composites, i.e. influence of the structure, additives and the type of reinforcing phase on the composite forming effect. The tests aimed at experimentally made composites with polyester resin matrix containing recycled polyurethane foam and a hybrid composite with polyester resin reinforced with recycled polyurethane foam and glass fibre. Besides, physico-chemical properties of the produced material are presented, including density, absorbability, impact resistance and tensile strength.

Syntheses of hybrid flame retardant (HFR) additives were done on a semi-industrial scale. HFRs were obtained by in situ synthesis of melamine cyanurate in the presence of expandable graphite. HFRs have been used to reduce the flammability of selected polymers: polyester, epoxide, polystyrene. Compositions characterized by high oxygen indexes (in the case of the polyester compositions – 39.8 %) and improved horizontal FH-1 and vertical V-0 flammability parameters were obtained. The influence of the production parameters (including methods and parameters of drying), the grain size and expansion of the received HFRs on their effectiveness in the reduced flammability of selected plastics were investigated.
Hybrydowe uniepalniacze (HFR) otrzymano na drodze syntezy cyjanuranu melaminy w obecności grafitu ekspandującego (proces w skali ½-technicznej). HFR użyto do zmniejszenia palności poliestru, epoksydu i polistyrenu. Otrzymane kompozycje charakteryzowały się wysokimi wskaźnikami tlenowymi (w przypadku kompozycji poliestrowych – 39.8 %) oraz parametrami palności poziomej FH-1 ipionowej V-0. Zbadano zależności pomiędzy parametrami wytwarzania (w tym metodami i parametrami suszenia), wymiarami ziaren oraz parametrami ekspansji otrzymanych HFR a ich efektywnością w ograniczaniu palności tworzyw polimerowych.

One of the strategic decisions of any organization is decision making about manufacturing strategy. Manufacturing strategy is a perspective distinguishing a company from other present companies in that industry and creates a kind of stability in decisions and gives a special direction to organizational activities. SIR (SUPERIORITY& INFERIORITY Ranking) method and their applications have attracted much attention from academics and practitioners. FSIR proves to be a very useful method for multiple criteria decision making in fuzzy environments, which has found substantial applications in recent years. This paper proposes a FSIR approach based methodology for TOPSIS, which using MILTENBURG Strategy Worksheet in order to analyzing of the status of strategy of the Gas Company. Then formulates the priorities of a fuzzy pair-wise comparison matrix as a linear programming and derives crisp priorities from fuzzy pair-wise comparison matrices Manufacturing levers (Alternatives) are examined and analyzed as the main elements of manufacturing strategy. Also, manufacturing outputs (Criteria are identified that are competitive priorities of production of any organization. Next, using a hybrid approach of FSIR and TOPSIS, alternatives (manufacturing levers) are ranked. So dealing with the selected manufacturing levers and promoting them, an organization makes customers satisfied with the least cost and time.

This paper describes some recent trends in metal forming such as isothermal forging of titanium aluminides and process combinations between metal forming and additive manufacturing. These trends rely on accurate process and material models for process design. Process and material models must hence be able to track the microstructure evolution in complex materials such as titanium aluminides as well as predict the microstructure evolution along process histories with multiple deformation and/or heat input steps. In models for such processes, JMAK-type kinetics for and phase transformation are still common. For processes involving deformation and heat, the accuracy, consistency and limits of JMAK-type models are discussed. It is shown that the consistency of DRX models as well as the stability of model predictions in multi-stage processes require further attention.

This paper presents a novel learning methodology based on the hybrid algorithm for interval type-2 (IT2) fuzzy logic systems (FLS). Since in the literature only back-propagation method has been proposed for tuning of both antecedent and consequent parameters of type-2 fuzzy logic systems, a hybrid learning algorithm has been developed. The hybrid method uses recursive orthogonal least-squares method for tuning of consequent parameters as well as the back-propagation method for tuning of antecedent parameters. The systems were tested for three types of inputs: a) interval singleton b) interval type-1 (T1) non-singleton, c) interval type-2 non-singleton. The experimental results of the application of the hybrid interval type-2 fuzzy logic systems for scale breaker entry temperature prediction in a real hot strip mill were carried out for three different types of coils. They proved the feasibility of the systems developed here for scale breaker entry temperature prediction. Comparison with type-1 fuzzy logic systems shows that the hybrid learning interval type-2 fuzzy logic systems improve performance in scale breaker entry temperature prediction under the tested condition.

In this paper the features of plastic forming that make this processing technique widely used in modern production processes were described . The possibilities of supporting this type of processing with other techniques, e. g. laser, were also shown. The reason for this is that the implemented processes becoming a hybrid character. Machines, tools and technological processes that cause such great interest in this technology from the industry were presented.

On the contrary, the considered here machines are dedicated for the combined heat and power (CHP) production in organic Rankine cycle (ORC) systems and so the hydrostatic bearings use an organic, oil-free working fluid as the lubricant. The reader will acquire an insight into the special characteristics of hydrostatic bearings. Moreover, a new type of bearings, a hybrid bearing, is introduced, which combine both, hydrostatic and hydrodynamic effects. The designed bearings have been manufactured and their good performance confirmed during tests on a real machine.

The supervision of complex manufacturing systems is handled in this paper. Production lines of manufacturing systems are understood here to be hybrid agents. Such an agent expresses continuous material flow together with a set of imperative discrete operations. In other words, the hybrid agent makes a cooperation of continuous and discrete event devices possible. The results are applied to complex continuous manufacturing system. First Order Hybrid Petri Nets (FOHPN) are utilized in order to model the elementary autonomous hybrid agents. The cooperation of hybrid agents is based on the DES (discrete-event systems) control theory. It is realized by means of DES supervision methods and the agent negotiation is based on place/transition Petri nets (P/T PN). The proposed approach is illustrated in details on the cooperation of hybrid production lines in the real complex manufacturing systems recycling waste plastics into plastic bags. The usefulness and applicability of the approach consists especially in the fact that the procedures in analytical terms can be employed. In such a way the approach turns lucid also in complicated cases.

Scheduling is one of the most important decisions in production control. An approach is proposed for supporting users to solve scheduling problems, by choosing the combination of physical manufacturing system configuration and the material handling system settings. The approach considers two alternative manufacturing scheduling configurations in a two stage product oriented manufacturing system, exploring the hybrid flow shop (HFS) and the parallel flow shop (PFS) environments. For illustrating the application of the proposed approach an industrial case from the automotive components industry is studied. The main aim of this research to compare results of study of production scheduling in the hybrid and the parallel flow, taking into account the makespan minimization criterion. Thus the HFS and the PFS performance is compared and analyzed, mainly in terms of the makespan, as the transportation times vary. The study shows that the performance HFS is clearly better when the work stations’ processing times are unbalanced, either in nature or as a consequence of the addition of transport times just to one of the work station processing time but loses advantage, becoming worse than the performance of the PFS configuration when the work stations’ processing times are balanced, either in nature or as a consequence of the addition of transport times added on the work stations’ processing times. This means that physical layout configurations along with the way transport time are including the work stations’ processing times should be carefully taken into consideration due to its influence on the performance reached by both HFS and PFS configurations.

Conventional metal manufacturing techniques are suitable for mass production. However, cheaper and faster alternatives are preferred for small batch sizes and individualized components. Directed energy deposition (DED) processes allow depositing metallic material in almost arbitrary shapes. They are characterized by cyclic heat input, hence heating and cooling every point in the workpiece several times. This temperature history leads to distribution of mechanical properties, distortions, residual stresses or even fatigue properties in the part. To avoid experimental trial-and-error optimization, different methods are available to simulate DED processes. Currently, the wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) is the most competitive DED process. In this work, a simulation method for the WAAM process is established and validated, which should be capable to calculate global effects (e.g. distortions, residual stresses) of real WAAM-processes with duration of hours and thousands of weld beads. The addition of beads and layers is simulated by the element birth and death technique. The elements are activated according to the movements of the heat source (arc). In this paper, the influence of the time step, the mesh size and the material properties of the inactive elements in hybrid implicit / explicit and fully implicit solutions are evaluated with respect to the computation time and stability. This investigation concludes several recommendations for AM-modelling. For example, a low Young’s modulus (100 N/mm2) for the inactive elements show nearly no influences on the welding simulation, but introduces numerical instabilities in case of multiple welding beads. The Young’s modulus should be increased to 1.000 N/mm2 for small mesh-sizes, small step-sizes and many beads, even when it introduces unwanted stresses.

In this study, the impact properties of kenaf fibre reinforced hybrid fiberglass/Kevlar polymeric composite was investigated. In this study, a new fiber arrangement based on kenaf bast fiber as reinforcement to the hybrid fiberglass/Kevlar fiber and polyester as matrix used to fabricate the hybrid polymeric composite. Five different types of samples with different of kenaf fiber content based on volume fraction (0, 15, 45, 60 and 75%) to hybrid fiberglass/Kevlar polymer composites were manufactured. 0% of kenaf fiber has been used as control sample. The results showed that hybridization has improved the impact properties. These results were further supported through SEM micrograph of the manufacturing defects of the polymer composite. Based on literature work, manufacturing defects that occurs in composite system reduced the mechanical properties of the material. Therefore, in this research the correlation of impact behaviors and manufacturing defects of kenaf fiber reinforced hybrid fiberglass/Kevlar polymeric composite has been successfully done. As conclusion, the highest manufacturing defects determined in the composites during the fabrication significantly lowest the results of impact behavior.
Zbadano udarność hybrydowego kompozytu polimerowego na osnowie żywicy poliestrowej napełnionej włóknami szklanymi i kevlarowymi wzmocnionego włóknem łykowym kenaf. Wytworzono pięć próbek różniących się zawartością włókien kenafu (0, 15, 45, 60 i75% obj.) Próbkę kontrolną stanowił kompozyt z 0% obj. udziałem włókien kenaf (0%). Wykazano, że hybrydyzacja wpłynęła na poprawę właściwości udarowych wyjściowego kompozytu. Wyniki potwierdzono analizą SEM defektów produkcyjnych otrzymanego kompozytu. Stwierdzono, że zachodzi korelacja między wytrzymałością na uderzenie awadami produkcyjnymi badanego hybrydowego kompozytu poliestrowego wzmocnionego włóknami kenaf. Powstałe podczas produkcji wady produkcyjne wistotnym stopniu pogarszają właściwości udarowe kompozytów.

The article describes a hybrid approach to evaluating economic efficiency of medium-sized manufacturing enterprises (employing from 50 to 249 people) in districts of Wielkopolska province, using metric and interval-valued data. The hybrid approach combines multidimensional scaling with linear ordering. In the first step, multidimensional scaling is applied to obtain a visual representation of objects in a two-dimensional space. In the next step, a set of objects is ordered linearly based on the distance from the pattern (ideal) object. This approach provides new possibilities for interpreting linearly ordered results of a set of objects. Interval-valued variables characterise the objects of interests more accurately than metric data do. Metric data are atomic, i.e. an observation of each variable is expressed as a single real number. In contrast, an observation of each interval-valued variable is expressed as an interval. The analysis was based on data prepared in a two-stage process. First, a data set of observations was obtained for metric variables describing economic efficiency of medium-sized manufacturing enterprises. These unit-level data were aggregated at district level (LAU 1) and turned into two types of data: metric and interval-valued data. In the analysis of interval-valued data, two approaches are used: symbolic-to-classic, symbolic-to-symbolic. The article describes a comparative analysis of results of the assessment of economic efficiency based on metric and interval-valued data (the results of two approaches). The calculations were made with scripts prepared in the R environment.

Rapidly rotating systems such as centrifuges are widely used in medicine and laboratories to efficiently separate different constituents of liquids. Rotors, which hold sample containers, are an essential part of centrifuges. Since they are subjected to extreme mechanical loads, rotors are one of a centrifuge’s core safety components. Their deficits served as the point of departure for the development of a novel manufacturing technology, which is based on carbon fiber-reinforced polymers (CFRP). Its supporting structure is entirely in the loading plane, thus enabling the rotor to absorb higher centrifugal forces while requiring the same amount of material. The new design concept for the load-bearing structure includes a geodesically molded annular support member. It transmits forces better than present products and increases rigidity. In order to eliminate the known problems with obtaining the necessary manufacturing quality of hollow fiber composite bodies, the authors developed the process of centrifugal infusion. Their proposed solution is based on generating higher gravitation forces, thus effectively eliminating detrimental gas pockets and simultaneously optimizing surface quality and impregnation.

The presented method is constructed for optimum scheduling in production lines with parallel machines and without intermediate buffers. The production system simultaneously performs operations on various types of products. Multi-option products were taken into account – products of a given type may differ in terms of details. This allows providing for individual requirements of the customers. The one-level approach to scheduling for multioption products is presented. The integer programming is used in the method – optimum solutions are determined: the shortest schedules for multi-option products. Due to the lack of the intermediate buffers, two possibilities are taken into account: no-wait scheduling, possibility of the machines being blocked by products awaiting further operations. These two types of organizing the flow through the production line were compared using computational experiments, the results of which are presented in the paper.

Wstęp: W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję sterowania systemem produkcyjnym, pozwalającą na zachowanie jego stabilności, a tym samym na realizację założonych planów produkcyjnych. W tym celu zaproponowano połączenia modeli symulacyjnych i modeli sztucznych sieci neuronowych (SSN) systemu produkcyjnego. Połączenie obydwu typów modeli było możliwe dzięki opracowaniu hybrydowego modelu systemu ekspertowego do oceny możliwości realizacji planu produkcji (celu) w zależności od wielkości ryzyka i poziomu stabilności analizowanego systemu produkcyjnego. Analizowany problem - możliwość realizacji planów produkcyjnych w zależności od wielkości ryzyka i poziomu stabilności systemu produkcyjnego - jest trudny do zamodelowania matematycznego. Jednak na podstawie analizy danych, pochodzących z modelu symulacyjnego i modelu ANN, można uzyskać informacje dotyczące zależności odpowiadających sobie wartości wejściowych i wyjściowych. Metody: Na podstawie przedstawionego sposobu zarządzania procesu produkcyjnego z wykorzystaniem modeli komputerowych, przeanalizowano możliwości zastosowania modeli symulacyjnych i modeli ANN w ocenie stabilności i ryzyka systemów produkcyjnych. Dokonano analizy i porównania obydwu typów modeli ze względu na sposób budowy oraz rodzaj danych wejściowych i wyjściowych. Wyniki: Na bezpośrednie połączenie modeli symulacyjnych i modeli SSN nie pozwala ich odmienna budowa, specyfika oraz inne rodzaje danych wejściowych i wyjściowych. Dlatego prezentowana w artykule koncepcja fuzji obydwu typów modeli odbywa się poprzez bazę wiedzy eksperckiej i wnioskowanie rozmyte. Wnioski: Na potrzeby sterowania systemem produkcyjnym, zaproponowano budowę hybrydowego modelu systemu ekspertowego do oceny możliwości realizacji celu w zależności od wielkości ryzyka i poziomu stabilności systemu produkcyjnego.
Background: Control plays the main role in ensuring the stability of production processes, while digital models of processes and methods of artificial intelligence are used more and more commonly in it. Production of highly diversified items in small lots at low inventory levels is characterised by a much lower stability as compared with largelot manufacturing. Additionally, innovations created for items or processes result in disturbances to current work. Although this turbulence is usually momentary, it may lead to a loss of function or manufacturing stability, which in turn translates into financial losses, as well as losing customers. This paper presents the potential of using simulation models and artificial neural network models to assess the stability of a reorganized production system. Methods: The problem analysed in the paper is that of merging a simulation model with an ANN model by designing a hybrid model. A direct connection of both types of models is not possible due to their various structures, specificity, and different purposes, as well as the various types of input and output data. Therefore, the idea of merging these two types of models through an expert knowledge base and fuzzy inference was proposed. The results from the simulation model and the ANN model were used to gather the knowledge on the production system being analysed. It has been proposed that the output from the simulation model provided knowledge of the risk level, while the output from the ANN model provided knowledge of process stability. Results: The paper presents the idea of projecting a hybrid model of the expert system in order to assess the stability of a reorganized production system. A model of a hybrid expert system was developed to assess the potential of executing the assumed production plans. The level of risk and the level of stability determined by the simulation model and the ANN model are entered into the system. The output from the expert model is the value of the variable determining the potential of achieving the goal. In the construction of the model, fuzzy inference was used, which uses linguistic variables and is characterized by a knowledge system in the form of fuzzy rules "if ... then ...". For both the independent variable and for the dependent variable, a set of membership functions representing accepted linguistic variables was proposed, and then decision rules were determined. The idea of merging simulation models with ANN models was tested on a practical example in production system that manufactures products for dishwashers. Conclusions: The potentiality to execute production plans depending on the level of risk and the level of stability of the production system is too complicated to be modelled mathematically, but based on the analysis of data from the simulation and ANN models, it is possible to obtain information concerning the relations between corresponding input and output values.

W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienia związane z kompozytami hybrydowymi polimer-metal wytwarzanymi metodą wtryskiwania. Przedstawiono wpływ przygotowania powierzchni ze stali DC01 na adhezję tworzywa sztucznego do metalu. Najlepsze wyniki uzyskano dla powierzchni stalowych poddanych obróbce fizyczno-chemicznej (obróbka strumieniowo-ścierna przy pomocy cząstek elektrokorundu F 80 oraz trawienie w 15% roztworze kwasu fosforowego (V) - H3PO4). Celem zwiększenia adhezji specyficznej na granicy faz polimer-metal zaproponowano zastosowanie żywic epoksydowych jako warstw pro-adhezyjnych. Najlepsze wyniki uzyskano dla kompozycji epoksydowych poddanych modyfikacji fizycznej (dodatek napełniacza w postaci elektrokorundu szlachetnego białego F 1200 w proporcji 1:1 względem masy żywicy epoksydowej).
The present article is focused on polymer-metal hybrid composites manufactured during injection moulding process. The influence of DC01 steel surface preparation on the polymer to metal adhesion process is discussed. The best results were obtained for the steel surfaces prepared by physical and chemical methods (the sand blasting with the use of the F 80 alumina particles and etching in the 15% solution of phosphoric acid). The epoxy resins were proposed as the pro-adhesion inter-layers to increase the strength of the specific adhesion at the polymer-metal interface. The best results were obtained for the epoxy compositions which had been modified with use physical methods (by adding the F 1200 alumina filler in proportion 1:1 to mass epoxy resin).
