Opis:
In the present work, we have studied an unsteady, two-dimensional boundary layer flow of a magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) Oldroyd-B fluid over an oscillatory stretching surface. The problem is modeled by using constitutive equations. The number of independent variables in the governing equations are reduced by using appropriate dimensionless variables. The analytical solution is computed by using homotopy analysis method. The influences of various physical parameters such as Deborah numbers, ratio of angular frequency to stretching rate parameter and Hartmann number on time-series of velocity and transverse velocity profiles at different time instants are investigated and discussed quantitatively with the help of various graphs. It is observed that amplitude of velocity increases by increasing ratio of oscillating frequency to stretching rate parameter while decreases by increasing Hartmann number. It is further observed that the magnitude of velocity decreases by increasing Hartmann number and Deborah numbers in the terms of relaxation time parameter.

Opis:
An analysis has been performed to study the problem of the thermal performance of a nonlinear problem of the porous fin with temperature-dependent internal heat generation. Highly accurate semi-analytical methods called the collocation method (CM) and the homotopy perturbation method (HPM) are introduced and then are used to obtain a nonlinear temperature distribution equation in a longitudinal porous fin. This study is performed using passage velocity from the Darcy’s model to formulate the heat transfer equation through porous media. The heat generation is assumed to be a function of temperature. The effects of the natural convection parameter Nc, internal heat generation εg, porosity Sh and generation number G parameter on the dimensionless temperature distribution are discussed. Also, numerical calculations called the fourth order Runge-Kutta method were carried out for the various parameters entering into the problem for validation. Results reveal that analytical approaches are very effective and convenient. Also it is found that these methods can achieve more suitable results compared to numerical methods.

We show that the Vietoris system of a space is isomorphic to a strong expansion of that space in the Steenrod homotopy category, and from this we derive a simple description of strong homology. It is proved that in ZFC strong homology does not have compact supports, and that enforcing compact supports by taking limits leads to a homology functor that does not factor over the strong shape category. For compact Hausdorff spaces strong homology is proved to be isomorphic to Massey's homology.

One takes advantage of some basic properties of every homotopic λ-model (e.g. extensional Kan complex) to explore the higher βη-conversions, which would correspond to proofs of equality between terms of a theory of equality of any extensional Kan complex. Besides, Identity types based on computational paths are adapted to a type-free theory with higher λ-terms, whose equality rules would be contained in the theory of any λ-homotopic model.

Opis:
In this paper, we perform the frequency-expansion formula for the nonlinear cubic damping van der Pol’s equation, and the nonlinear frequency is derived. Stability conditions are performed, for the first time ever, by the nonlinear frequency technology and for the nonlinear oscillator. In terms of the van der Pol’s coefficients the stability conditions have been performed. Further, the stability conditions are performed in the case of the complex damping coefficients. Moreover, the study has been extended to include the influence of a forcing van der Pol’ oscillator. Stability conditions have been derived at each resonance case. Redoing the perturbation theory for the van der Pol oscillator illustrates more of a resonance formulation such as sub-harmonic resonance and super-harmonic resonance. More approximate nonlinear dispersion relations of quartic and quintic forms in the squaring of the extended frequency are derived, respectively.

For the Brown-Peterson spectrum BP at the prime 3, $v_2$ denotes Hazewinkel's second polynomial generator of $BP_*$. Let $L_2$ denote the Bousfield localization functor with respect to $v_2^{-1}BP$. A typical example of type one finite spectra is the mod 3 Moore spectrum M. In this paper, we determine the homotopy groups $π_*(L_2M ∧ X)$ for the 8 skeleton X of BP.

This method may be called the homotopy analysis Rangaig transform method (HARTM). The proposed example results showed that HARTM is an effective method for solving nonlinear partial differential equations.

Opis:
In this article, we investigate the theoretical study of the magnetohy-drodynamic (MHD) non-orthogonal stagnation point flow of a nanofluid towards a stretching. The partial differential equations that model the problem are reduced to ordinary differential equations which are then solved analytically using the improved Spectral Homotopy Analysis Method (SHAM). Comparisons of our results from SHAM and numerical solutions show that this method is a capable tool for solving this type of linear and nonlinear problems semi-analytically.
