Opis:
We present IntU package for Mathematica computer algebra system. The presented package performs a symbolic integration of polynomial functions over the unitary group with respect to unique normalized Haar measure. We describe a number of special cases which can be used to optimize the calculation speed for some classes of integrals. We also provide some examples of usage of the presented package.

The Cauchy problem for hyperbolic functional differential equations is considered. Volterra and Fredholm dependence are considered. A theorem on the local existence of generalized solutions defined on the Haar pyramid is proved. A result on differentiability of a solution with respect to initial data is proved.

Opis:
A simple semi-recursive routine for nonlinearity recovery in Hammerstein systems is proposed. The identification scheme is based on the Haar wavelet kernel and possesses a simple and compact form. The convergence of the algorithm is established and the asymptotic rate of convergence (independent of the input density smoothness) is shown for piecewise-Lipschitz nonlinearities. The numerical stability of the algorithm is verified. Simulation experiments for a small and moderate number of input-output data are presented and discussed to illustrate the applicability of the routine.

The article presents two methods of face detection. The first of these is a method Haar classifier cascade. The second is a face detection method based on detection of skin color areas. They propose a face detection algorithm based on skin color. The main emphasis lies on the effectiveness of the algorithm in order to properly recognize a human face. The results allowed to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
W artykule przedstawiono dwie metody detekcji twarzy. Pierwsza z nich to metoda kaskady klasyfikatorów Haara. W metodzie tej ważne jest położenie twarzy w stosunku do kąta obrócenia zdjęcia. Rozpoznawane są tylko „pionowe” twarze. Drugą stanowi metoda detekcji twarzy w oparciu o wykrywanie obszarów o kolorze skóry. Zaproponowano algorytm detekcji twarzy w oparciu o kolor skóry. Główny nacisk położono na skuteczność algorytmu w celu poprawnego rozpoznania ludzkiej twarzy. Otrzymane wyniki pozwoliły ocenić skuteczność zaproponowanej metody.

Opis:
An important aspects of learning are the theoretical elements of mathematics and the methods of obtaining the function or designbecause it allows for further development of the issues and the ability to apply this problem in practice. The Fourier transform is very useful in science and technology. The article shows how and in what structures is possible to use the Fourier transform in the set Rn. The article describes the project of compact-open topology, which is essential to the construction of the Haar measure and integral. It was also described the concept of the nature of a locally compact topological group, because a group of characters is also essential to the construction of the Fourier transform and inverse Fourier transform. It has been proven that a group of characters is a locally compact topological group, which allows the introduction of the Haar measure. It has given an example application of the theory of Haar integral when calculating the Fourier transform for some of the electronics.

Opis:
This paper presents an application of the wavelet theory to function approximation and to approximate solutions of chosen differential equations. There are considered the functions of class L²(R) and the first and the second order linear differential equations in interval [0, 1] with appropriate boundary conditions. Haar wavelet and linear B-spline wavelet were applied to approximate these functions and solving these problem.
W artykule przedstawiono zastosowanie teorii falek w aproksymacji funkcji oraz w aproksymacji rozwiązań wybranych równań różniczkowych. Rozważane są również funkcje klasy L²(R) oraz równania różniczkowe liniowe rzędów pierwszego i drugiego, określone na przedziale [0, 1], z odpowiednimi warunkami brzegowymi. Do aproksymacji wyżej wymienionych funkcji oraz równań zostały zastosowane falka Haara oraz falka B-splajnowa liniowa.

In this paper, we present a new approach based on Coifman wavelets to find approximate values of definite integrals. This approach overcomes both CAS and Haar wavelets and hybrid functions in terms of absolute errors. The algorithm based on Coifman wavelets can be easily extended to find numerical approximations for double and triple integrals. Illustrative examples implemented using Matlab show the efficiency and effectiveness of this new method.

W artykule zaproponowana została nieinwazyjna metoda diagnostyki stanów przedawaryjnych silnika indukcyjnego. Zastosowana metoda oparta jest na analizie sygnałów akustycznych silnika indukcyjnego. Przedstawiono badania dla trzech stanów silnika indukcyjnego, które zostały przeprowadzone dla algorytmów przetwarzania danych: Dyskretnej transformaty falkowej Haara i klasyfikatora najbliższej średniej z metryką Euklidesa. Opisano proces tworzenia wzorców do rozpoznawania, który został przeprowadzony dla 27 próbek dźwięku oraz proces identyfikacji który został przeprowadzony dla 75 próbek dźwięku. Podkreślono, że metoda ta może być zastosowana w różnych gałęziach przemysłu.
In this paper a non-invasive diagnostic method for an induction motor was proposed. The applied method is based on the analysis of acoustic signals of the induction motor. The tests were carried out for three conditions of the induction motor. The tests were conducted for the following data processing algorithms: discrete Haar wavelet transform and Nearest Mean classifier with Euclidean metrics. The pattern development process was carried out for 27 samples of sound, while the identification process – for 75 samples of sound. This method can be used in industry as well as in electrical equipment.

Here in this paper we intend to deal with two questions: How large is a “Lebesgue Class” in the topology of Lebesgue integrable functions, and also what can be said regarding the topological size of a “Lebesgue set” in R?, where by a Lebesgue class (corresponding to some x in R) is meant the collection of all Lebesgue integrable functions for each of which the point x acts as a common Lebesgue point, and, by a Lebesgue set (corresponding to some Lebesgue integrable function f ) we mean the collection of all ebesgue points of f. However, we answer these two questions in a more general setting where in place of Lebesgue integration we use abstract integration in locally compact Hausdorff topological groups.

Population policy (also biopolitics) is the interlocking of planning, resettlement and control of sociotechnical interventions in the structure of a society, either through a birth and family policy, through controlled migration, nationality policy or through a spatially differentiated development of infrastructure. On the basis of the comparative research on genocide by Raphael Lemkins, the present article describes the National Socialist population policy with regard to the General Government in the context of the competing Berlin (Heinrich Himmler), Cracow (Hans Frank) and regional (Odilo Globocnik) interests. Simultaneously, it analyses the biased preferential treatment of the Ukrainian minority, the mass murder of the Polish intelligentsia, the plans and implementation of the genocide of European Jews in the Lublin District, the epidemic-containment policy in the Warsaw Ghetto, the failed extension of the genocide policy with regard to the Polish majority in Zamość in 1942/43 and its antecedents in the Wartheland (Z-Aktion/subsistence farming) as cases of „negative” and „positive” population policies. In contrast to the perspective focused on the Generalplan Ost, this article emphasises the regional initiatives. In the context of the resettlement and extermination policy, the chief of police and SS in the Lublin District, Odilo Globocnik is not regarded as the antipode of Hans Frank and his civilian administration but rather as a radicalising power that, both through cooperation and competition, radicalised the scope of resettlement and extermination policy.
