Introduction and aim. The novel advancements of upcoming iron regulators used to treat diabetic nephropathy have implicated a common manifestation of combination chelation therapy used to eliminate end-stage renal disease associated with inflammation and iron imbalance that is altered by renal iron absorption. However, iron accumulation in the clustered kidneys that filter blood may cause problems that affect diabetic blood sugar regulation. Material and methods. A well-designed method was employed to discover relevant research publications on iron chelators and their potential to treat diabetic nephropathy. “Iron chelators”, “diabetic nephropathy”, “end-stage renal disease”, and “chelation therapy” were searched in Google Scholar, Web of Science, PubMed, and EMBASE. Analysis of literature. Although the specific etiology and development have not been fully explored, emerging evidence on iron pathophysiology helps comprehend the pathogenesis of acute kidney damage and chronic kidney disease, which crucially provides novel iron chelation therapy techniques. Ferroptosis and hepcidin marker proteins increase oxidative/nitrifying stress and kidney injury. Iron chelator medicines including deferoxamine, deferasirox, and deferiprone were tested as prophylactic strategies. Conclusion. This article covers both preclinical and clinical aspects of iron chelators to avoid diabetic nephropathy, including novel iron therapies that must be reviewed when selecting dosing regimens.

Opis:
The article deals with the development of digital literature. It is examined the potential of social networks in creating relevant literary texts that take into account the preferences of users and the very change in reading quality: the predominance of short forms, combining verbal and visual content in one semantic core. It is emphasized that social networks influence the development of the book market and literature, in particular, unite writers, provide resources for the promotion, sale of works of art, become creative platforms for artistic experiments. Social networks “Twitter” and “Facebook” are becoming especially popular among creative people. It has been determined that original genre forms appear on Twitter, along with a kind of reworking of classic texts - prose, poetry, dramatic works, in which the minimum number of characters is combined with an extremely emotional load and deep subtext. An interesting example of the use of Facebook as a platform for artistic experimentation is the successful attempt of Ukrainian author O. Shynkaruk, who createed a Facebook novel. In addition to the story itself (which is about the world 100 after the Russian-Ukrainian war that lasted 100 years), there are author’s and readers’ comments that create an atmosphere of interactivity. In the comments, the author reveals the ideas of his plan, sometimes clarifies and clarifies unclear points. With separate hypertext references O. Shynkarenko introduces into the text his own musical compositions, interludes in the genre of “concrete” music. The visual images complement the verbal, and visual metaphors and actualize additional meanings. The emergence of various genres of Twitter literature, Facebook novels shows that artists are looking for new ways to create texts, new ways to include contemporaries in literature and the formation of a “new reader”. The article tries to prove that the online literature format offered by the social networks “Twitter” and “Facebook” is not a sign of a simplification of the literary text, but a manifestation of literary game and artistic experimentation in the digital age.
У статті йдеться про розвиток цифрової літератури. Зокрема розглядають потенційні можливості соціальних мереж у створенні актуальних художних текстів, що враховують уподобання користувачів та саму зміну якості читання: перевага коротких форм, поєднання вербального та візуального контенту в одному смисловому ядрі. Акцентовано, що соціальні мережі впливають на розвиток книжкового ринку та літератури, зокрема згуртовують навколо себе письменників, надають ресурси для популяризації, продажу художніх творів, стають творчим майданчикам для художніх експериментів. Особливо стають популярними серед творчих людей соціальні мережі «Твіттер» та «Фейсбук». Визначено, що в твіттері поряд із своєрідною переробкою класичних текстів з’являються оригінальні жанрові форми – проза, поезія, драматичні твори, в яких мінімальна кількість знаків поєднується з надзвичайно емоційним навантаженням та глибоким підтекстом. Цікавим прикладом використання фейсбуку як майданчика для художнього експериментування є вдала спроба українського автора О.Шинкарука створити фейсбук-роман. Окрім самої історії (а йдеться про світ через 100 років після російсько-української війни), впадають в очі авторські та читацькі коментарі, що створюють атмосферу інтерактивності. У коментарях автор розкриває ідеї свого задуму, подекуди уточнює та роз’яснює незрозумілі моменти. Окремими гіпертекстовими посиланнями О. Шинкаренко уводить в текст власні музичні композиції, інтермедії у жанру конкретної музики. Візуальний ряд доповнює вербальний, а візуальні метафори актуалізують додаткові смисли. Поява різножанрової твіттератури, фейсбук-роману свідчить про пошук митцями нових шляхів творення текстів, нових способів долучення до літератури сучасників та формування «нового читача». У статті зроблено спробу довести, що онлайн-формат літератури, який пропонують соціальні мережі «Твіттер» та «Фейсбук», не є ознакою своєрідного спрощення художнього тексту, а є виявом літературної гри та художнього експериментування в епоху розвитку цифрового суспільства.

Opis:
Tematem artykułu jest spektakl Białoruskiego Wolnego Teatru na podstawie powieści Аlhierda Bacharewicza Рsy Europy, którego premiera odbyła się w Mińsku 7 III 2019 r., a następna inscenizacja została zaprezentowana podczas występόw gościnnych w Londynie w marcu 2022 roku. Ten projekt , przygotowany w warunkach motywowanej politycznie relokacji trupy w Kijowie, zamierzamy badać w artykule w kontekście najnowszych praktyk scenicznych o wysokim potencjale performatywnym i receptywnym, co przybliża je do technik medialnych, protestów politycznych. To zaś motywuje wybór metodologii naszych badań. Wykorzystujemy metody teorii komunikacji, badamy zjawisko ,,teatralizacji” życia, a także właściwości dramatu, które można badać w kontekście zwrotu performatywno-receptywnego we współczesnej dramaturgii i teatrze. Naszym zdaniem, wersja teatralna powieści Аlhierda Bacharewicza Рsy Europy na scenie Białoruskiego Wolnego Teatru odpowiada zasadom estetycznym i postawie politycznej teatru. Od momentu powstania w 2005 r. teatr pozycjonował się jako ,,teatr barykady”. Białoruski Wolny Teatr często zwracał się ku bolesnym tematom współczesności, takim jak podziały polityczne i światopoglądowe w społeczeństwie, zagrożenia wojną światową, stłumienie wolności i demokracji na Białorusi w 2020 r., czy inwazja wojsk rosyjskich na terytorium Ukrainy w 2022 roku.
The article focuses on the performance of the Belarusian Free Theatre based on the novel The Dogs of Europe by Аlhierd Bacharevich, which premiered in Minsk on 7.03.2019, and the next stage version was presented during the tour of the collective in London in March 2022. The production, arranged in the conditions of a politically motivated relocation of the troupe in Kiev, is considered in the article in the context of the latest stage practices with high performative-receptive potential, bringing them closer to the techniques of mass media, political protest actions. This determined the methodological basis of the research, which turned to the aesthetic aspects of the theory of communication, the phenomenon of ,,theatricalization” (the focus on visual action presentation) of all spheres of life, as well as to the immanent properties of drama, revealed taking into account the performative turn in modern drama and theatre, which have become adequate artistic statements about the complex relationships within the dyad ,,man ― society”. In the course of the study, it was found that the reception of the novel by Аlhierd Bacharevich was carried out on the stage of the Belarusian Free Theatre in line with the ideological and aesthetic attitudes of the collective, which since its foundation in 2005 has been approving the concept of the ,,barricade theatre”, typologically close to a number of theatrical and dramaturgical projects dedicated to the ,,pain points” of modernity: the demarcation of the world continuum according to political and ideological principles, the threat of a global military conflict and their latest local refractions: the suppression of peaceful protests in Belarus in 2020, the invasion of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine in 2022.
У цэнтры ўвагі артыкула – спектакль Беларускага свабоднага тэатра паводле рамана Альгерда Бахарэвіча Сабакі Эўропы, прэм’ера якога адбылася ў Мінску 7 III 2019, а наступная сцэнічная версія была прадстаўлена падчас гастроляў калектыву ў Лондане ў сакавіку 2022 года. Пастаноўка, зладжаная ва ўмовах палітычна матываванай рэлакацыі трупы ў Кіеве, разглядаецца ў артыкуле ў кантэксце найноўшых сцэнічных практык, якія адзначаны высокім перформатыўна-рэцэптыўным патэнцыялам, што набліжае іх да прыёмамі масмедыя, акцый палітычнага пратэсту. Гэта абумовіла метадалагічны базіс нашага даследавання, звернутага да эстэтычных аспектаў тэорыі камунікацыі, феномену ,,тэатралізацыі” (то бок скіраванасці да візуальнай экшн-прэзентацыі) усіх сфер жыцця, а таксама да іманентных уласцівасцях драмы, раскрытых з улікам перфарматыўнага павароту ў сучаснай драматургіі і тэатры, якія сталі адэкватнымі мастацкімі выказваннямі аб складаных узаемаадносінах у межах дыяды ,,чалавек – соцыум”. Падчас даследавання высветлілася, што рэцэпцыя рамана А. Бахарэвіча ажыццяўлялася на сцэне Беларускага свабоднага тэатра ў рэчышчы ідэйна-эстэтычных установак калектыву, які сцвярджае з моманту свайго заснавання ў 2005 годзе канцэпцыю ,,тэатра-барыкады”, тыпалагічна блізкую шэрагу тэатральных і драматургічных праектаў, прысвечаных ,,болевым кропкам” сучаснасці: размежаванню сусветнага кантынууму па палітычных і светапоглядных прынцыпах, пагрозе ваеннага канфлікту сусветнага маштабу і іх найноўшым лакальным прыкладам: падаўленню мірных акцый пратэсту ў Беларусі ў 2020 годзе, уводу расійскіх войскаў на тэрыторыю Украіны у 2022 годзе.

The article discusses three various stages of artistic experiment. Both a source concept of experiment in artistic practice, developed by Émile Zola in the 19th century under the banner of 'experimental novel', and the neo-avant-garde distinction into Art art and experimental art created by Allan Kaprow in the 1960s, established a close connection of experiment with uncertainty and risk. In this context, the article investigates the extent to which contemporary artists' practices, including those frequently defined as experimental, can be subsumed under the historical meaning of experiment and poses a question whether they might have created another style of art. The problem is analysed in reference to Artur Żmijewski's film, Powtórzenie [Repetition].
Artykuł przedstawia trzy różne odsłony eksperymentu artystycznego. Źródłowa idea eksperymentu w działalności artystycznej, przedstawiona w XIX wieku przez Émila Zolę pod hasłem „powieści eksperymentalnej” a także neoawangardowe rozróżnienie na „sztukę artystyczną” i eksperymentalną dokonane przez Allan Kaprowa w latach 60. XX wieku łączyły ściśle eksperyment z niepewnością i niewiedzą. W tym kontekście w artykule postawione zostaje pytanie, w jakiej mierze praktyki współczesnych artystów, również często określane mianem eksperymentalnych, wpisują się w historyczne rozumienie eksperymentu i czy nie stały się kolejną artystyczną stylistyką. Kwestia ta jest analizowana w odniesieniu do filmu Powtórzenie Artura Żmijewskiego.

The literature shows that researchers used a wide variety of types of guilt manipulation. A common feature of these studies was that the subjects were not able to doubt their guilt. Additionally, these methods did not take into account the psychometric measurement of this emotion, as well as the possibility of simultaneously inducing other feelings, such as sadness or anger. In a carefully designed experiments, we found a method that is approachable to arrange, which additionally seems to be free from these methodological flaws. In our study participants were shown an arranged message suggesting that the experimenter’s work has been destroyed. In experiment 1 (N = 44), we showed that the method proposed by us significantly affects guilt. In experiment 2 (N = 89), we replicated our result, additionally demonstrating that our procedure significantly affected only the emotion of guilt (compared to other emotions) - which is a novelty. It also has been shown that complying with the request of the victim (conditional forgiveness) makes us feel less guilty, but it does not restore liking to this person - which was established by previous research. The discussion section summarizes the results, indicates their limitations, and proposes directions for future research.

Szkic przedstawia nową interpretację powieści Witolda Wirpszy Pomarańcze na drutach (1964), możliwą dzięki mikroanalizie przed-tekstów. Są to przede wszystkim materiały z archiwum pisarza zachowane w Książnicy Pomorskiej w Szczecinie, w tym 39 kart maszynopisu zawierających polski tekst pierwszej redakcji powieści z jesieni 1946 roku oraz listy pisane przez Wirpszę z oflagu w Gross Born do przyszłej żony Marii Kureckiej. Wczesny odbiór Pomarańczy na drutach zdominowany został przez pytanie o jej formę oraz uznanie formy poetyckiej jako wyznacznika wartości i gwarancji sensu tego prozatorskiego przedsięwzięcia. Autor interpretacji wychodzi od pytania, czy na tle istniejących dokumentów recepcji uprawnione będą interpretacyjne sugestie dokonywane ponad językową i „poetycką” tkanką tekstu, czy zasadne będzie wskazanie klucza do rozumienia powieści poza jej nastawieniem na sam język i poza właściwościami typowymi dla nurtu lingwistycznego w poezji, z którym kojarzony jest Wirpsza. Interpretacja odwołująca się do śladów pozostawionych w przed-tekstach wychodzi od rozumienia tytułu w kategoriach symbolu, powiązanego z odrealnionym, onirycznym, na wpół fantastycznym opisem oflagowego świata przedstawionego. Przegląd dokumentów genezy pozwala włączyć do próby zrozumienia powieści i jej tytułu, oprócz pierwszej wersji utworu z roku 1946, listy autora powstałe w bezpośredniej relacji z powieściową czasoprzestrzenią. Według niniejszej propozycji interpretacyjnej przynoszą one odpowiedź na pytanie o „początek początku”, albowiem to w nich właśnie odnaleźć można „realnie istniejące wskazówki pierwszego śladu” (wedle terminologii, jaką proponuje Pierre-Marc de Biasi).
The paper offers a new interpretation of Witold Wirpsza’s novel Pomarańcze na drutach (1964) possible thanks to the microanalysis of pre-texts. Those are first of all materials from the author’s archive preserved in Książnica Pomorska in Szczecin, including 39 pages of typescript with the Polish text of the first edition of the novel from the fall of 1946 and letters sent by Wirpsza from the Gross Born Oflag to his future wife, Maria Kurecka. The early reception of Pomarańcze na drutach was dominated by the question of its form, accepting the poetic form as a quality determinant and a guarantee of the sense of that prose enterprise. The analysis starts from the question of whether interpretative suggestions regarding the linguistic and “poetic” tissue of the text is justified given other documents of reception, whether it is justifiable to indicate a key to understanding the novel beyond its focus on the language itself and beyond properties typical for the linguistic trend in poetry associated with Wirpsza. Interpretation referring to traces left in “pre-texts” stems from understanding the title of the novel as a symbol, connected to the unreal, oneiric, half-fantastical description of the represented world of an Oflag. A review of the genesis documents allows us to incorporate Wirpsza’s letters written in a direct relation to the novel’s time and space, in order to better understand the novel and the title. According to that interpretative proposal, they answer the question regarding “the beginning of the beginning,” for they contain the actual clues regarding the first trace (according to the terminology proposed by Pierre-Marc De Biasi).

The paper presents three novel rotor design concepts for a three-phase electric controlled permanent magnet synchronous machine (ECPMS-machine) with hybrid excitation. The influence of magnets and flux-barriers arrangement on the magnetic field distribution and field-weakening characteristics of the machine is examined, based on a three-dimensional finite element analysis (3D-FEA). Moreover, a prototype rotor design based on a new rotor concept with a good field-weakening capability is presented in detail. Finally, the experimental results of no-load back electromotive force (back-EMF) waveforms and field-weakening characteristics versus a control coil current of the machine are reported.

Opis:
The state of the art in the field of transducers and tyre deformation measurement methods tells of the high importance of this issue. The “tyre deformation” may be analysed from the point of view of both the global deformation of the tyre structure and the local deformation of single tread lugs. So far, there is no all-purpose transducer that would be capable of identifying simultaneously all the tyre deformation components that would be interesting for researchers in all the above aspects. If it is considered sufficient to define the tyre deformation by the value of displacement of a selected tyre point in relation to the wheel rim, then the deformation can be measured with the use of a device built in accordance with the original concept presented in this article, i.e. a mechanical contacting transducer. The transducer is intended to measure the tyre deformation by separately determining the three principal (tangential, lateral, and radial in relation to the wheel disc) deformation components, which are to be recorded at the same time. The article presents a general mathematical model of the device, with highlighting the diversity of methods of describing the model in a formal way and illustrating them by possible examples. Illustrative different paths of implementing the concept of the device have been shown as well. A measuring device built in accordance with the idea may constitute a tool for identifying the mechanical tyre characteristics, which might be then used inter alia as input data at simulation research on vehicles, e.g. for modelling the vehicle body vibrations or for analysing the energy absorption at vehicle motion.
Stan techniki w dziedzinie przetworników i metod pomiaru deformacji ogumienia wskazuje na szerokie znaczenie rozpatrywanego zagadnienia. Pod pojęciem tym rozpatrywać można zarówno globalną deformację struktury opony, jak i lokalne odkształcenie pojedynczych lamelek bieżnika. Brak jest przetwornika uniwersalnego, zdolnego do jednoczesnej identyfikacji wszystkich interesujących badaczy składowych deformacji opony w podanych wyżej aspektach. Definiując deformację ogumienia jako wartość przemieszczenia wybranego punktu opony względem obręczy koła, jej pomiar jest możliwy z pomocą urządzenia w myśl przedstawionej w niniejszym artykule autorskiej koncepcji mechanicznego przetwornika dotykowego. Przetwornik przeznaczony jest do pomiaru deformacji opony z podziałem na trzy rejestrowane jednocześnie składowe w kierunkach: stycznym, poprzecznym i promieniowym do tarczy koła jezdnego. W artykule przedstawiono opracowany ogólny model matematyczny urządzenia, wskazano na różnorodność sposobów formalnego opisu tego modelu, podając przy tym możliwe przykłady. Zaprezentowano także przykłady ścieżek realizacji koncepcji urządzenia. Urządzenie pomiarowe w myśl idei stanowić może narzędzie do identyfikacji parametrów mechanicznych ogumienia stanowiących m.in. dane wejściowe w badaniach symulacyjnych pojazdów, np. modelowaniu drgań ich nadwozi, czy energochłonności ruchu.

The paper presents selected simulation and experimental results of a hybrid ECPMS-machine (Electric Controlled Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine). This permanent magnets (PMs) excited machine offers an extended magnetic field control capability which makes it suitable for battery electric vehicle (BEV) drives. Rotor, stator and the additional direct current control coil of the machine are analyzed in detail. The control system and strategy, the diagram of power supply system and an equivalent circuit model of the ECPMS-machine are presented. Influence of the additional excitation on the performance parameters of the machine, such as: torque, efficiency, speed limits and back-EMF have also been discussed.

Artykuł omawia Życie Pi Yanna Martela, koncentrując się na sposobach, w jaki powieść wykorzystuje sprzeczności, by poruszyć temat teistycznych, ateistycznych i agnostycznych przekonań. Powieść zdaje się bronić tezy, że teizm jest racjonalny (ze względu raczej na pragmatyczne niż epistemiczne racje), ateizm swym zaangażowaniem przypomina wiarę, podczas gdy agnostycyzm można utożsamić z dogmatycznym materializmem i biernym podejściem do życia. By zilustrować ten punkt widzenia, powieść proponuje czytelnikowi eksperyment, przedstawiając mu dwie wzajemnie sprzeczne wersje historii ocalenia Pi.
The essay discusses Yann Martel’s Life of Pi, focusing on the novel’s use of contradictions to present the theme of the theistic, atheistic and agnostic beliefs. The novel seems to defend the thesis that theism is rational (on pragmatic rather than epistemic grounds), atheism in its choice of commitment resembles faith, whereas agnosticism can be identified with dogmatic materialism and a passive attitude towards life. To illustrate this view the novel engages the readers in an experiment, offering them two mutually exclusive versions of Pi’s survival story.

Opis:
A study of the novel type of piezoelectric actuated micropositioning system for pick-and-place type applications is reported. The objective of this work is to present mechanical design of micropositioning system, simulation test of main mechanical parts and to verify simulation test by real experiment. It also mentions the study of selected aspects of actuation system based on flexible joints and piezostack actuators, FEA simulations of flexible joints, connections and interactions between mechanical parts, and modular design of micropositioning system is also mentioned. Finally experimental results of individual mechanical modules are reported.
W artykule zaprezentowano nowy typ piezoelektrycznie napędzanego urządzenia mikropozycjonującego do zastosowania w operacjach typu pobierz-odłóż (pick-and-place). Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie konstrukcji mechanicznej, przedstawienie badań symulacyjnych głównych elementów składowych, a także weryfikacja testów symulacyjnych przez eksperyment. Przedstawione zostały także wybrane aspekty układu napędowego, pracującego w oparciu o napęd piezoelektryczny i elastyczne przeguby złączowe typu flexures, a także wybrane aspekty związane z modelowaniem przy pomocy metody elementów skończonych MES, współpracy pomiędzy elementami mechanicznymi, oraz budowa modułowa urządzenia. W podsumowaniu przedstawiono wyniki testów eksperymentalnych wykonanego prototypu.

The present article is an attempt to analyse House Mother Normal – a littleresearched novel by the British experimental novelist B. S. Johnson. Starting with a general discussion of the author’s literary tenets, the analysis then focuses on the novel at hand, special emphasis being given to the ways in which it maintains continuity with Johnson’s previous works, as well as to the areas in which divergence from the author’s oeuvre is visible. Following these remarks, a question is posed concerning the somewhat complex relationship between the characters and the narrator in the novel, the main problem in this respect being the extent to which the narrator, if indeed present at all, is visible in the text. Finally, the focus of the article shifts to the novel’s multivoicedness, which is then discussed in terms of Bakhtinian notions of polyphony and dialogism. The subsequent analysis of selected excerpts from the novel demonstrates that House Mother Normal for the most part eludes any easy classification and thus subsuming it under Bakhtin’s categories is as seemingly easy as it is problematic and disputable.
