    Das Ziel des vorliegenden Beitrags ist es, die sprachlichen Mittel der Persuasion und Manipulation sowie Sprechakte darzustellen, die auf Wahlplakaten in Österreich Verwendung finden. Die Untersuchung bezieht sich auf das Plakatarchiv der Österreichischen Nationalbibliothek (ÖNB). Analysiert werden die verwendeten lexikalisch-semantischen und syntaktischen Mittel der Persuasion und Manipulation sowie persuasive Sprechakte. Es wird gezeigt, dass eine Reihe von rhetorischen Figuren (z. B. Metaphern, Hyperbel) sowie Sprechhandlungen auf österreichischen Plakaten Anwendung finden.
    This article presents the rhetorical devices of a persuasive or manipulative nature and speech acts used on Austrian election posters. Based on the material from the Austrian National Library (ÖNB) poster archive, the study analyses the applied devices of a lexical-semantic and syntactic nature, as well as speech acts. As discussed, many rhetorical devices (e. g. metaphors, hyperboles) and illocutionary and perlocutionary speech acts are used on election posters from Austria.

    Das Ziel des Beitrags ist die Darstellung der narrativ-bildenden Funktion von ausgewählten ephemeren Texten aus dem Jahre 1945, in dem das brandenburgische Landsberg an der Warthe eine plötzliche Metamorphose zum polnischen Gorzów Wielkopolski erfuhr. Das Schicksal dieser Stadt erscheint repräsentativ für die Geschichte von Orten, die nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg infolge der Grenzverschiebungen ihre Identität verändert haben. Im Beitrag werden sogenannte Prä-Narrative dargestellt, d.h. Erzählbausteine, die sich in ephemeren Texten aus dem ‚Grenzgebiet des Augenblicks‘ entdecken lassen und die mit der Kreierung eines kollektiven Bildes des jeweiligen Ortes zusammenhängen. Diese Prä-Narrative sind ein Beitrag zur Geschichte der Beziehungen zwischen Menschen aus drei Kulturen: der deutschen, der polnischen und der russischen. Im Aufsatz werden die Fallstudien und die Metasprache aus der Monographie von Katarzyna Taborska Literatura miejsca. Piśmiennictwo postlandsberskie [‚Literatur des Ortes. Das post-landsbergische Schrifttum‘], Gorzów Wielkopolski 2017, aufgegriffen.

    Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie „Gazety Literackiej. Najtańszego pisma w Galicji”, efemerydy lwowskiej ukazującej się w 1871 roku, w szerszym kontekście ruchu wydawniczego Lwowa okresu autonomii galicyjskiej oraz omówienie jego struktury tematycznej i rodzajowej. Zaprezentowane zostały również wyniki analizy szaty graficznej oraz ilustracji obecnych w „Gazecie Literackiej”. Materiałem badawczym było 9 kolejnych numerów czasopisma udostępnionych w formie zdigitalizowanej w Jagiellońskiej Bibliotece Cyfrowej. Opracowanie uzupełniają notki biograficzne osób publikujących w gazecie. „Gazeta Literacka” stanowi interesujące źródło do studiów nad historią prasy ukazującej się we Lwowie w XIX wieku, zwłaszcza z punktu widzenia wzajemnego oddziaływania i uzupełniania się treści polityczno-społecznych i kulturalno-literackich opublikowanych na łamach ogólnodostępnej prasy.
    The paper aims to present “Gazeta Literacka. Najtańsze pismo w Galicji” (Literary Gazette. The Cheapest Newspaper in Galicia), a Lviv ephemeral newspaper from 1871, in a broader context of the publishing movement of Lviv in the period of Galician autonomy and to discuss its thematic and genre structures. The layout and illustrations included in “Gazeta Literacka” are analyzed as well. The study bases on 9 consecutive issues made available in a digitalized form in the Jagiellonian Digital Library and is supplemented by biographical notes of authors who published in the newspaper. “Gazeta Literacka” constitutes a fascinating source for exploring the history of the Lviv press in the 19th century, particularly from the point of view of mutual influence and complementarity of its political, social, cultural, and literary content.

    Opis:
    A total of 5,613 macroinvertebrate specimens, belonging to 43 taxa of varying systematic positions, were collected at four study sites in the Minina River. Dominant in the material collected were Gammarus sp. (33.9%), Chironomidae larvae (30.4%) and Ephemera sp. larvae (7.0%). More individuals (3,551) and taxa (39) were caught in the lentic zone than in the lotic zone (2,062 specimens and 30 taxa). The biological diversity index ranged from 1.57 to 3.14 within the sites and from 1.04 to 3.77 within habitats (zones of the river). The taxonomic composition and the abundance of the fauna were mainly in fluenced by biotic factors (e.g. amount of aquatic vegetation) and abiotic factors (e.g. water current and type of bottom sediment), while human impact (presence of hydraulic structures, straightening of the river bed) did not significantly affect the fauna.

    Undoubtedly, since the beginning of the 20th century, pavilion architecture has become the architect's manifesto and destroys the sense of the history of architecture, which says that architecture is subject to one aesthetic idea, forms and materials.. This paradox of the new, ‘impermanent’ paradigm is based on constant assessment and discussion in pursuit of an answer to the question about what architecture is in the present day. It may seem that some it s every answer to the originality of form, while to others, a pursuit of meanings in the simplest geometries, in the elementarity of the meanings of architectural space.
    Bez wątpienia architektura pawilonowa od poczatku XX wieku stała manifestem architekta i burzy sens historii architektury mówiącej o tym, że architektura podlega trwaniu jednej idei estetycznej, form, materiałów. Ów paradoks nowego „nietrwałego” paradygmatu podlega ciągłej ocenie i dyskusji w ramach poszukiwania odpowiedzi na pytanie - co to jest architektura we współczesności? Jak sie wydaje - dla jednych, jest każdą odpowiedzią na temat oryginalnosci formy - dla innych, poszukiwaniem znaczeń w najprostszych geometriach i w elementarności znaczeń przestrzeni architektonicznej.

    Artykuł jest próbą przybliżenia istoty i funkcjonowania pseudowaluty bitcoin (BTC). Zawiera on również próbę odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy ta nowa jednostka rozrachunkowa może stać się walutą ponadnarodową. Artykuł prezentuje powstanie bitcoina oraz koncepcję leżącą u podstaw jego tworzenia. W trakcie prezentacji procesu jego powstawania i późniejszego bytu przeprowadzono analizę wad i zalet tej jednostki. Bitcoin jako „waluta” całkowicie wirtualna, nie podlegająca żadnej instytucji państwowej ani bankowi centralnemu, wymaga od swoich użytkowników znacznie większego zaufania aniżeli tradycyjne waluty państwowe. Również sposób przechowywania bitcoinów jest daleki od tradycyjnego. W artykule zawarto ponadto analizę innych pseudowalut, przeprowadzoną w odniesieniu do głównych cech bitcoina. W analizie tej znalazły się takie pseudowaluty, jak: litecoin, anoncoin i primecoin. Pokazano różnice i podobieństwa do bitcoina jako jednostki najbardziej popularnej. Te pseudowaluty, powstałe na początku XXI wieku mogą już niebawem stać się poważnym konkurentem dla prawdziwego pieniądza, zwłaszcza dla ludzi poszukujących poufności i szybkości przy dokonywaniu transakcji, dla której jedynym wymaganiem jest dostęp do sieci Internet.
    The article is an attempt to bring closer the essence and functioning of the pseudo-currency called bitcoin (BTC). It also contains an attempt to answer the question whether this new unit of account can become a supranational currency. The article presents the emergence of bitcoin and the concept underlying its creation. In the course of presentation of the process of its emergence and the later existence, there was carried out an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of this unit. Bitcoin as a fully virtual ‘currency’, not being subject to any state institution or to the central bank, requires from its users a considerably greater confidence that the traditional state currencies. Also the way, in which bitcoins are kept, is far from the traditional one. In his article, the author also included a review of other pseudo-currencies, carried out in relation to the main features of the bitcoin. In the review, there were mentioned such crypto-currencies as litecoin, anoncoinand primecoin. He showed the differences and similarities to the bitcoin as the most popular unit. Those crypto-currencies, emerged at the beginning of the 21st century, may quite soon become a serious competitor to the real money, particularly in case of the people looking for confidence and speed when carrying our transaction for which the only requirement is access to the Internet.

    Der Beitrag setzt sich mit ephemeren Drucken auseinander, die vor der Volksabstimmung in Oberschlesien 1921 gedruckt und verbreitet wurden und heute in der Universitätsbibliothek der Universität Wrocław aufbewahrt werden. Die Flugblätter und Anschlagzettel aus diesem Korpus werden als besonders wirkungsmächtige Medien charakterisiert, die mit größter Sorgfalt und meist in zwei Sprachen (Deutsch und Polnisch) vorbereitet wurden. Ihre Wirksamkeit verdanken sie Faktoren wie den historischen und gesellschaftlichen Umständen ihrer Entstehung, ihren gattungsmäßigen und stilistischen Merkmalen sowie ihrem breiten Wirkungskreis.
    The paper analyzes ephemera printed before Upper Silesia plebiscite (1921), collected in Wroclaw University Library. Plebiscitary leaflets, written in Polish and German, are characterized as good-featured and effective media. Not only the social background of the analyzed ephemera but also their genres, stylistics and massive coverage had a great impact on their effective persuasion.

    W pracy przeprowadzono rozważania na temat możliwości wykorzystania benchmarkingu do doskonalenia wykonawstwa robót konserwacyjnych pod kątem ochrony flory i fauny koryt cieków. Metoda ta, stosowana w technice i w biznesie, w wielu przypadkach przyniosła korzystne efekty. W wykonawstwie robót wodnych i wodno-melioracyjnych nie była dotychczas wykorzystywana. Istotnym zadaniem w robotach konserwacyjnych na ciekach jest skuteczna ochrona biocenozy koryta cieku. Źródłem trudności w tym zakresie jest niepowtarzalność warunków wykonawstwa robót oraz różnorodność zbiorowisk roślinnych i zwierzęcych w dnie, na skarpach i w strefie przybrzeżnej koryta cieku. Działania proekologiczne, polegające na prowadzeniu analiz ryzyka ekologicznego, odpowiednim doborze terminów wykonania robót, stosowaniu przemiennych schematów technologicznych, wykorzystaniu odpowiednich maszyn i osprzętów roboczych są właściwe dla jednych organizmów, a niewystarczające dla innych. W pracy wykazano to na przykładzie sześciu bezkręgowców wodnych – rurecznika pospolitego (Tubifex tubifex), błotniarki pospolitej (Galba palustris), kiełża zdrojowego (Gammarus pulex), ośliczki wodnej (Asellus aquaticus), bagiennika żółtorogiego (Limnophilus flavicornis) oraz jętki pospolitej (Ephemera vulgata). W przypadku trzech spośród nich – rurecznika pospolitego, błotniarki pospolitej oraz bagiennika żółtorogiego zastosowane rozwiązania proekologiczne były odpowiednie, natomiast w przypadku kiełża zdrojowego, ośliczki wodnej i jętki pospolitej nie przyniosły spodziewanych efektów. Aby ograniczyć liczbę takich niekorzystnych przypadków, należy w dalszym ciągu poszukiwać rozwiązań technicznych, które mogłyby być zastosowane w wykonawstwie robót. Odpowiednim narzędziem do tego celu jest, benchmarking, czyli naśladowanie dobrych wzorów.
    This paper describe the possibility to application the benchmarking for betterment the executing of maintenance works from the point of view the flora and fauna protection on water-course bed. Benchmarking used in the engineering and business gives in many cases profitable results. This method was don’t be used in executing works of water engineering and land reclamation. By the maintenance work the essential problem is the effective protection of biocenosis on the water- course bed, because the conditions in work execution are changeable. Also the plant and animal community on the water-course bed, the slopes the coastal zone are changeable. The proecological activity consist in analysis of the ecological risk, properly time-limit to executive the maintenance-works, application of alternate technological schemes and machines suitable machine equipment. These activities can have a positive influence on ones kind of organisms and inadequately on another organism. The evaluation of those activities is the changes of organisms quantity as the consequence of executive works on water-courses. In this paper those consequence has been shoved on an example of six water-invertebrates Tubifex tubifex, Galba palustris, Gammarus pulex, Asellus aquaticus, Limnophilus flavicornis and Ephemera vulgate. For three of them this – Tubifex tubifex, Galba palustris, and Gammarus pulex solutions were well. In case of another three – Asellus aquaticus, Limnophilus flavicornis and Ephemera vulgate the solutions don’t has been satisfied. A suitable method for minimize the undesirable changes in water organisms, is the application of benchmarking.

    Opis:
    The present article analyses Use phenomena of the Islamic State, since its coming into being until now. Undoubtedly, it makes, up a significant factor disturbing safety and order both in the regional and global scale. Moreover, the methods of operation of the Islamists and passive reaction of the West, which is limited to bombing and providing military aid, have been analysed. The key players in the conflict under question are the West countries, the special military forces thereof are operating in the territories occupied by the Islamists, whereas in the region of Syria, Turkey, Iraq and Iran, each of the concerned country, due to different, reasons, acts in an entanglement of circumstances being supported by the conflict. The Islamic State will not survive because it is embraced and fight off by all, none is going to recognize it as a state in accordance with the international law; nevertheless, it may by „transferred” to the grounds of the so called failed states. This in turn will cause successive waves of emigration, humanitarian disasters and return to Europe the volunteers originating from those continents. They can engage in terroristic and subversive activity being at the same time difficult to detect.

    In today’s journalistic and sometimes even scientific narrative, often exists the opinion that the participation in the security organs of the communist state and membership of the PPR/PZPR in the first years after World War II, stemmed from the unfamiliarity with the regime that was imposed since 1944. The article aims to reveal the extent of knowledge about the Soviets and communism that the anti-communist underground had at the time and what it communicated to the public. This article has been based on posters and flyers distributed by various underground structures in the Lublin area.

    Opis:
    History of the Museum of Marian Fathers, founded at the college for boys in Bielany, the district of Warsaw, reconstituted in the Fawley Court at Henley-on-Thames, Great Britain, and finally moved to the Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows in Licheń Stary, is the key to understanding the content and organization of this collection. Patriotic, religious and educational aspects of the museums, its role for the Polish diaspora in Great Britain, and its depletion in the results of historical changes. Presentation of the collection content” museum objects – sidearm, sculptures, artistic fabrics, drawings and watercolors, paintings, graphics, commemorative items; book collection – books from the 19th and 20th centuries, journals, music prints, maps, and cityscapes. A more detailed presentation of the collection of early printed books, ephemera, and journals from the 19th century.
