Opis:
The article addresses the notion of resilience in Polish educational and social setting. The study evolves around the core questions about individual stories of resilience, including events and reactions that people have experienced in different conditions. The article aims at discussing the parents’ influence in making children more resilient through their good example and demonstrating strong values. The study grounds on the findings from a narrative obtained from the Daily Care Home of the Local Support Center in Gdansk. Employing tool of a biographical narrative I look into psychological and educational consequences the resilience causes in family of low social-economic group.

One of the key success factors in the IT industry is innovation. It is an integral part of this industry and determines its development and, in addition, there are clear links between innovation and entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship in the IT industry is of significant economic and social importance as it currently affects virtually every sphere of our lives. This means huge challenges for the education system in the field of entrepreneurship education among future IT specialists. The aim of the article is to analyze entrepreneurial attitudes among IT students, as well as to identify opportunities and barriers to entrepreneurship development in the IT industry in the context of educational challenges. The author formulated the following main research issue: What are the educational challenges in the field of entrepreneurship of IT students? In the research, a survey questionnaire was used for IT students at the Pedagogical University of Krakow. Research has shown that in IT studies, the importance of shaping soft competences, which are necessary for running a business, are largely omitted. They should build confidence, which is very important for people who would like to start their business however are afraid of failure, and it is the main barrier to entrepreneurship development in the IT industry. Creative activities that stimulate business ideas also play an important role in educating entrepreneurship in IT students.

Celem artykułu jest omówienie międzykulturowych spotkań on-line łączących edukację formalną z aktywnościami pozaformalnymi realizowanych w dobie pandemii COVID-19. Autor, opisując polsko-amerykański projekt Multiculturalism with the Click of a Mouse realizowany przez Szkołę Podstawowa nr 1 im. Karola Marcinkowskiego w Murowanej Goślinie oraz Rahway High School w New Jersey, zastanawia się nad wyzwaniami nauczania zdalnego w kontekście dialogu międzykulturowego i wprowadza wątek kompetencji aksjologicznych oraz obywatelskich rozwijających się podczas działań transkulturowych w ramach filozofii dialogu Martina Bubera. Autor zwraca też uwagę na wartość pedagogiczną spotkania z Innym w różnych kontekstach edukacyjnych i konfrontuje osobiste doświadczenia z poglądami naukowców z Uniwersytetu Zielonogórskiego, Uniwersytetu w Białymstoku, Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego oraz Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. Według badacza, filozofia spotkania otwiera przestrzeń szacunku dla różnorodności, zapewnia uczniom i uczennicom wywodzącym się z mniejszości narodowych i etnicznych poczucie partycypacji we wspólnocie szkolnej oraz akceptację otoczenia nie tylko szkolnego, ale także środowiska. Artykuł konstatuje, że spotkania on-line poruszające ważne tematy dotyczące m.in.: różnorodności, tożsamości oraz między- oraz transkulturowości są możliwe do zrealizowania w sposób zdalny. Narzędzia IT oraz aplikacje internetowe wraz z komunikatorami (ZOOM-em) wzmocniły w młodych ludziach z Murowanej Gośliny oraz New Jersey poczucie przynależności do grupy, solidaryzm oraz wzajemną akceptację. Pomogły również przełamać różne uprzedzenia, pokonać lęki wywołane pandemią, i rozwinąć kompetencje społeczne oraz językowe uczestniczek i uczestników projektu.

The present article reviews the psychological literature on selected problems of gifted education. Tłem rozważań są przykłady współczesnych budowli oraz wybrane prace studenckie realizowane w ramach studiów ASK na Wydziale Architektury Politechniki Warszawskiej.
Architectural practice, based on canon and proportion, interprets reality in a idealistic way. Communicates meanings based on codes recognizable in the context of tradition. Shapes spatial forms - corresponding to conventions and proven in long-term processes of use. Based on the assumptions of Anglo-Saxon empiricism, the paper seeks to identify the classic experiment and examine if it is an effective tool of architecture. It looks for answers to the question of whether the experimental method supports the creative activities and whether this has changed in the context of information age. Case study contains examples of modern buildings and selected student works expressing ASK program specificity.

Współczesne czasy Z. Bauman, wybitny socjolog i filozof, nazwał epoką płynnej nowoczesności. Termin ten podkreśla specyfikę życia i jego odmienność w stosunku do wcześniejszej epoki nowoczesności. Zmniejszenie roli przemysłu i oparcie rozwoju gospodarczego na sektorze usług oraz nowoczesnych technologiach informacyjnych wpłynęły na zmiany we wszystkich dziedzinach życia człowieka. Szybkość, zmienność i nietrwałość stanowią podstawowe cechy życia współczesnego człowieka i determinują całkowicie jego życie i funkcjonowanie społeczne. Rozwój technik komunikowania się wpłynął na pojawienie się nowego rodzaju relacji społecznych oraz sposobów wyszukiwania i przekazywania informacji. Dlatego też często mówi się o społeczeństwie informacyjnym dla podkreślenia roli, jaką informacja pełni w życiu codziennym, społecznym i gospodarczym wszystkich ludzi. Zachodzące przemiany ekonomiczno-gospodarcze i społeczno-kulturowe wymagają odpowiedniej edukacji wychodzącej naprzeciw nowym problemom. Pojawia się postulat utworzenia nowej szkoły przygotowującej młodych ludzi do życia w płynnej nowoczesności. W artykule dokonano próby charakterystyki następujących przemian społecznych i kulturowych. Wskazano główne problemy współczesnej edukacji oraz kierunki jej rozwoju. Podkreślono konieczność jej głębokich przeobrażeń tak, aby z instytucji skostniałej i archaicznej stała się miejscem przygotowania młodego pokolenia do życia we współczesnym świecie.
Zygmunt Bauman, a prominent sociologist and philosopher named modern times the era of unstable modernity. The term stresses life specifics and its dissimilarity to the previous modernity era. Reducing the role of industry and supporting economic development in the sector of service and modern information technology influenced the changes in all areas of human life. The pace, volatility and impermanence are the basic features of modern human life and fully determine his life and social functioning. Development of communication techniques contributed to the emergence of a new type of social relations and means of finding and forwarding the information. That is why the term ‘information society’ is often used to emphasize the role played by information in everyday social and economic life of all the people. The economic and socio-cultural changes require an adequate, facing-theproblem education. There is a calling for a new school, that would prepare young people for the life in an unstable modernity. The author of the article presents the characteristic of the ensuing social and cultural changes. She outlined the main issues of a contemporary education and its development directions. She also emphasized the need of thorough transformations in order to change an archaic institutions into a new please where young generations can prepare for life in a contemporary world.
