    In the information society conditions and social needs are constantly changing. The development of information technology together with the new methods of gathering and distributing information that have been generated open the way to alternative forms of education in knowledge society. Intensive development of distance education is a response to changes caused by the escalating pace of innovation in many areas of social and economic life. Computers and the Internet are replacing the previous model of traditional education. The development of technology has contributed to the search of mobile forms of learning, or e-learning. E-learning allows you to fill gaps in the traditional teaching. Modern techniques allow you to find previously unknown solutions that can be used to streamline the process of distance learning. Both traditional education and the world of business treat e-learning as an effective tool that supports science. The convenient application of this tool, the opportunity to individually decide about the time devoted to studying, low costs and easy access speak for applying e-learning as an educational method. This article attempts to present the role of the Internet in the educational process. The aim of the paper was to show the influence of e-learning on raising the efficiency of education.

    The issue of regulation of a learning management system (LMS) at the state level of Ukraine is considered in the article. Types and interpretations of electronic educational resources that can be used in distance education are pointed out. The Moodle environment, as an example of one of successful learning management systems, is considered. In particular, the article contains a list of roles that can be shared by users of a learning management system. The general structure of an e-learning course, which can be used by educational institutions, is also proposed.

    System szkolnictwa w Polsce przeszedł w okresie izolacji społecznej, spowodowanej pandemią COVID-19, przyspieszony proces wdrażania rozwiązań edukacyjnych na odległość, związany z zaangażowaniem wszystkich podmiotów – uczniów, nauczycieli, rodziców i władz różnych szczebli. Stosunkowo najmniej zbadane zostały opinie dyrektorów szkół na temat szans i wyzwań, które ta nadzwyczajna sytuacja postawiła przed nimi. W niniejszym tekście przedstawione zostały wyniki badania nad tą właśnie grupą podmiotów systemu edukacji (Pyżalski, 2020). Analiza wyników badania ankietowego unaoczniła fakt niewystarczającego poziomu przygotowania szkół do nauczania online. Jako pozytywny efekt edukacji zapośredniczonej dyrektorzy szkół podkreślają zaangażowanie nauczycieli i ich współpracę, stosowanie nowoczesnych metod i narzędzi edukacyjnych, próby angażowania uczniów do samokształcenia i samoedukacji, rozwijanie ich kompetencji, integrowanie szkolnego środowiska. Według respondentów zdalna edukacja ma szansę bytu w przyszłości tylko pod warunkiem rozwoju kompetencji cyfrowych nauczycieli i uczniów, poznania nowych narzędzi i rozbudowania bazy dydaktycznej. Rozwój kompetencji kreatywnych nauczycieli stanowi według dyrektorów szansę na powodzenie nauczania online w przyszłości (Madalińska-Michalak, 2020). Według badanych słabą stroną kształcenia na odległość są braki technologiczne i przeciążenie nauczycieli dodatkowymi obowiązkami. Badani dyrektorzy szkół obawiają się negatywnych skutków edukacji zdalnej w postaci osłabienia relacji społecznych, a przede wszystkim braku możliwości pełnej realizacji procesu wychowawczego. Edukacja zdalna to ogromne wyzwanie logistyczne dla dyrektorów szkół oraz codzienne mierzenie się z problemami natury technicznej, technologicznej, komunikacyjnej z nauczycielami, rodzicami i uczniami. Dla wielu z nich jest to nierówna walka, którą podejmują, ponieważ są odpowiedzialni za swoich uczniów, pracowników oraz szkołę.
    During the period of social isolation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the education system in Poland underwent an accelerated process of implementing distance education solutions, related to the involvement of all entities – students, teachers, parents, and authorities of various levels. The opinions of school heads about the opportunities and challenges that this extraordinary situation posed for them have been relatively least investigated. This text presents the results of the research on this group of entities in the education system (Pyżalski, 2020). The analysis of the results of the questionnaire survey shows the fact that schools are insufficiently prepared for online teaching. As a positive effect of mediated education, school heads emphasize the involvement of teachers and their cooperation, the use of modern educational methods and tools, attempts to engage students in self-education and self-education, developing their competences, and integrating the school environment. According to the respondents, remote education has a chance to exist in the future only if the digital competences of teachers and students are developed, learning new tools and expanding the didactic base. According to principals, the development of creative competences of teachers is an opportunity for the success of online learning in the future(Madalińska-Michalak, 2020). According to the respondents, the weaknesses of distance learning are technological deficiencies and overloading teachers with additional duties. The surveyed school heads are concerned about the negative effects of remote education in the form of a more general weakening of social relations, and above all, the inability to fully implement the educational process. Remote education is a huge logistical challenge for school principals and daily dealing with technical, technological and communication problems with teachers, parents and students. For many of them it is an unequal struggle that they undertake because they are responsible for their students, staff and the school.

    Opis:
    The article examines the possible forms of self-management of the teacher professional growth of the management departments in the universities of the Republic of Poland. The following forms of enhancement of the teacher professional level are analyzed as courses, studies, trainings and portfolio. Distance and open education are characterized as alternative forms of self-management of the teacher professional growth in Polish universities. It was established that teachers of management departments use information systems LMS, LCMS; digital platforms Moodle, ELIAS and USOS in the system of higher education of the Republic of Poland. The types of e-learning are described, its possibilities and influence on the teacher professional growth are characterized within the management departments in the Polish universities. The questionnaires and interviews data are analysed for teachers of management departments in the universities of the Republic of Poland, in which the ways and forms are indicated for self-management of professional growth preferred by the teachers of the management departments of Polish universities. The role of digital technologies is analysed as an integral part in self-management of teacher professional growth in the modern conditions of globalization and European integration of Polish society.
    W artykule rozważono możliwe formy samorozwoju nauczycieli katedr zarządzania uniwersytetów Polski. Przeanalizowano następujące formy podwyższenia kwalifikacji nauczycieli akademickich z wykorzystaniem technologii cyfrowych: kursy, szkolenia, seminaria, treningi, kształcenie podyplomowe. Została scharakteryzowana edukacja na odległość i edukacja otwarta jako alternatywne formy wsparcia procesu samozarządzania rozwojem zawodowym nauczycieli akademickich uczelni polskich. Ustalono, że w systemie szkolnictwa wyższego w Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej nauczyciele katedr zarządzania najczęściej korzystają z systemów informatycznych LMS, LCMS; platform cyfrowych Moodle, ELIAS i USOS. Scharakteryzowano rodzaje e-learningu, opisano jego możliwości i wpływ na rozwój zawodowy nauczycieli katedr zarządzania uczelni polskich. Przeanalizowano dane kwestionariuszy i wywiadów wspomnianych nauczycieli akademickich, podano wskazane przez osoby ankietowane sposoby i formy samorozwoju zawodowego, preferowane przez nich. Przeanalizowano rolę technologii cyfrowych jako integralnej części samodoskonalenia się nauczycieli w nowoczesnych warunkach globalizacji i integracji europejskiej polskiego społeczeństwa.
