Values of density distribution and transition density are calculated using the obtained coefficients of four deuteron wave function for analytical forms in coordinate representation for Argonne v18 potential. Calculations of these values can serve for an assessment of a correctness and accuracy of choice of an analytical form at concrete approximation of radial deuteron wave function. Also these calculations help to evaluate information on such characteristics of a deuteron as a charge form factor, tensor polarization and momentum distribution.

In this paper, the effect of initial density distribution upon the predicted density via numerical simulations of bone remodeling was evaluated. The main purpose was to correlate the numerical results with clinical data according to which the initial bone quantity is an essential factor for long term survival of dental implants. Methods: Two-strain energy density-based bone remodeling theories were employed, one which accounts for overload resorption and the second one, which does not. The remodeling parameters were derived from the mechanostat theory. Bone remodeling around an osseointegrated dental implant was simulated based on finite element method using a generic mandible plane model. A variable time step was introduced to increase the speed of the remodeling simulations by keeping the truncation errors small. The simulations were performed for several initial density distributions correlated with values from clinical classifications of bone quality. For each density value, the occlusal load was defined in two ways so that to consider normal and overload mastication forces, respectively. Results: The results showed that the initial density distribution influences the predictions of bone remodeling simulations. For the analyzed model, the remodeling algorithm predicted overload resorption only in the case of low initial density, which can be associated with low bone quality, which, from clinical perspective, may probably lead to implant loss. Conclusions: The paper demonstrated that when simulating bone remodeling around dental implants using finite element method, it is important to account for initial density distribution in correlation with the bone quantity.

Opis:
The penetration of a shaped charge jet with non-uniform density distribution was studied. The virtual origin model, which assumes a constant jet density, was modified to include the situation where the jet density deficit/reduction of an un-sintered copper-tungsten powder jet causes a non-uniform jet density distribution. A relation between the relative density ratio and the normalised jet velocity is proposed, based on which an analytical solution of the modified virtual origin model is obtained. The validity of the modified virtual origin model was demonstrated by its largely improved prediction in comparison with experimental and numerical results. It showed that the density reduction term reduces the penetration depth by 16.58% for an un-sintered copper-tungsten powder jet.

In this paper, we investigate the characteristic coronal mass ejection and Type II radio burst, we calculated the drift rate of Type II Radio burst and determined the electron density distribution from a Coronal Mass Ejections. The data were taken from website e-CALLISTO, Space Weather, SolarHam and also from the Langkawi National Observatory, National Space Agency, Langkawi Kedah, Malaysia. All the data collected on 15th March 2015, 4th November 2015 and 16th December 2015. On 16 March 2015, the events were associated with slower C9 solar flare and CME. For this week, the events were causing radio blackouts on Earth. On 4 November 2015, the events were associated with M1.9 solar flare, CME and Solar burst Type II. The value of the solar wind was 570.4 km/Sec and value for radio sun was 124 sfu. For drift rate, we calculated the value for sites in Sri Lanka (ACCIMT-SRI), Ooty, India (OOTY), Indonesia (INDONESIA) and Kasi, South Korea (KASI) at between 0324 to 0328 UTC. In South Korea was highest drift rate, which is 1.397 MHz/s. Also, at HB9SCT, Switzerland (HB9SCT), Humain, Belgium (Humain), Daro, Germany (Daro-VHF) and TCD in Birr, Ireland (BIR), we calculated the drift rate of solar burst Type II between 1200 until 1203 UTC. In Belgium had the highest value of the drift rate to compare at other sites. Harmonic pattern was also appeared for all these sites. On 16th December 2015, this event associated with C6.6 solar flare and CME. These events give an impact on the earth geomagnetic field which is formed of aurora because of the combination of both events that trigger geomagnetic storming.

Resin migration in a core can occur during the core production process performed by blowing methods in which the core sand is transported into the core box as a two-phase sand-air flux characterized by various working parameters (working pressure, shooting time, volumetric concentration). This migration is the result of the resin being blown off from the matrix grain surfaces by compressed air. The methodology of the investigation of this effect developed at AGH University of Science and Technology is presented in this paper. The results of the resin migration tests obtained for cores made with cold-box technology at various working parameters of the shooting process are also shown.

Opis:
Determination of the electron density of plasma generated in a great plasma-focus device by means of interferometry is very difficult or sometimes impossible. In order to determine spatial electron density distributions of plasma in a PF-1000 device, a special method was prepared, with the use of plasma images obtained by means of both an optical frame camera and shadowgraphy. Analysis of plasma radiation in the very narrow Äë = 60 Ĺ optical range allowed us to determine the relation between intensity of the plasma radiation and the electron density. It was also shown that the influence of electron temperature on plasma radiation is not large. The presented method allowed us to obtain spatial electron density distributions of plasma (in relative units) in the PF-1000 device. By means of this method a number of important information about the plasma-focus phenomenon was obtained.

Available CTD profiles from the Gulf of Riga (May—August, 1993—2012) were analyzed to study inter-annual and long-term changes in temperature, salinity and density in relation to river runoff and atmospheric forcing (e.g. Baltic Sea Index). To describe temporal changes in vertical stratification, the upper mixed layer (UML) and deep layer (DL) parameters were estimated. On average the UML depth increases from 8.7 m in May to 9.0, 11.5 and 13.7 m in June, July and August, respectively, and the UML temperature increases from 8.08C to 12.5, 18.7 and 18.68C (May, June, July and August) while the UML salinity increases from 4.90 g kg1 to 5.14, 5.28 and 5.38 g kg1, respectively. High correlation (r = 0.82) was found between the inter-annual changes in river runoff (spring) and mean salinity in the UML in August as well as between DL mean salinity (r = 0.88) and density (r = 0.84) in the Irbe Strait and DL mean salinity and density in the Gulf of Riga. Inter-annual changes in the UML depth as well as in DL salinity and density had a significant correlation with the changes in Baltic Sea Index. The strongest stratification (August) can be observed in the years with the highest UML temperature and the highest river run-off in spring. We suggest that the predicted increase in water temperature and changes in river run-off due to the climate change would result in faster development of the seasonal thermocline in spring and stronger vertical stratification in summer.

The paper is devoted to an application of the immune algorithm and the finite element method for generation of 3D structures using two different types of parameterization and comparing the final results. The shape, topology and material of the structure are generated for optimization criterion like minimum of the mass of the structure. Two different interpolation functions like: multinomial interpolation and interpolation based on the neighbourhood of elements are used. The purpose of these procedures is appropriate selection of mass densities.

Model pola cieplnego Ziemi wykonano dla obszaru badań arkusza MhP 0969-Tychy, 1:50 000 wraz z obszarami do niego przyległymi. W interwale głębokości od 0 do 1000 m, w odcinkach stumetrowych, wykonano rozkład temperatury oraz rozkład gęstości strumienia ciepła. Wykorzystano dane archiwalne zamieszczone w dokumentacjach otworów (1950–1990) i pomiary temperatury wykonane w studniach specjalnie dla tej pracy (2010). Interpretacja została wykonana na podstawie bazy danych łącznie z 312 otworów (w tym: 223 otwory badawcze i 89 studni) oraz 880 pomiarów temperatur. W obszarze badań zależnie od: zapotrzebowania inwestora, zagospodarowania terenu i infrastruktury podziemnej – ciepło geotermalne Ziemi – wykorzystać można za pomocą różnych typów instalacji geotermalnych.
A geothermal model of underground heat sources has been constructed for the area of MhP 0969-Tychy, at a scale of 1:50 000. This model includes temperatures, and heat flux density distribution in a 0–1000 m range of depth. The project used the archival data of borehole documentations (produced mainly between 1950 and 1990), as well as temperature measurements taken in wells specifically for this work (2010). The interpretation was based on a database of 312 boreholes (including 223 test boreholes and 89 wells) and 880 temperature measurements. In the area of research, depending on the demands of the investor and land and underground infrastructure, the geothermal heat sources could be accessed using a variety of geothermal installations.

The results of simulation of density distribution in die compaction were described in this paper. There were compared two different types of powder compacts formed under two lubrication conditions.Analysis of powders compaction were implemented for Drucker-Prager Cap model into finite element program ABAQUS. This model was calibrated from experimental work by using simple test, such as cylindrical die compaction of the sample of steel powder material. It was shown, that modifying the lubrication conditions between powder and die wall results in opposing relative density distribution trends in the compact. The predictions of the model in terms of relative density distribution show good agreement of used model and matching with experimental results of research work in die compaction.
W publikacji przedstawiono wyniki symulacji komputerowej rozkładu gęstości podczas scalania materiałów drobnoziarnistych w matrycy zamkniętej. Porównano dwa typy wyprasek z drobnoziarnistych frakcji formowane w różnych warunkach tarcia zewnętrznego. Do symulacji metodą elementów skończonych wykorzystano model Drucker-Prager Cap zaimplementowany w programie obliczeniowym ABAQUS. Model ten skalibrowano wykorzystując wyniki badań doświadczalnych uzyskane przy scalaniu w walcowej matrycy zamkniętej próbek materiałów poszlifierskich z obróbki stali. Stwierdzono, że modyfikacja warunków smarowania powierzchni wewnętrznej matrycy oddziałuje na rozkład gęstości materiału w wypraskach. Wyniki analizy numerycznej rozkładu gęstości wykazały dobre dopasowanie zastosowanego modelu oraz dużą zgodność z wynikami wcześniejszych badań doświadczalnych scalania materiałów drobnoziarnistych.

The crystal structure of dimethylnitraminotetrazole has been predicted, based on systematically searching for densely packed structures within common organic crystal coordination types, followed by lattice energy minimization. The predicted crystal structures almost match the reported crystal structure determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. To understand the effect of the initial molecular geometry on the crystal packing, the crystal structure simulation was carried out for molecules taken from different environments, such as the X-ray structure (crystal field) and also from ab initiocalculations (gas phase). The predicted crystal structures from both environments are very similar to the reported X-ray structure with a maximum deviation of 4.5%. The crystal density predicted from both methods is close to that reported. The bond topological, energetic and electrostatic properties of the isolated molecule from the predicted crystal structure have been determined using Bader's theory of atoms in molecules. The bond topological characterization reveals that the C-N bond is the weakest bond in the molecule. A large electronegative potential is found in the vicinity of the NO2group and the nitrogen-rich region of the tetrazole ring; these are probably the reactive sites of this molecule.

W pracy przedstawiono istotne ograniczenia rozpraszania cząstek w warstwach łoża osadzarki i skutki tych ograniczeń objawiające się w procesie osadzania. Ograniczenia te są wynikiem znacznego rozpraszania cząstek w stosunkowo wąskim zakresie gęstości warstw łoża. Do tej pory są one pomijane lub niewłaściwie przedstawiane w opisach zjawisk zachodzących w procesie osadzania. Przedstawiono założenia modelu łoża osadzarki uwzględniającego poprawnie te ograniczenia. Model ten jest także tak skonstruowany, że nie ogranicza gęstości tworzących się warstw jak i rozkładu mas w poszczególnych warstwach. Możliwe jest jego doświadczalne sprawdzenie w odpowiednio przygotowanych warunkach laboratoryjnych. Dodatkowo model pozwala wyjaśnić niektóre błędy istniejące w teorii wzbogacania grawitacyjnego.
Significant limits of grain disperion in layers of the jig bed and the consequences of these limits are shown in the presented paper. They are the results of large grains dispersion in relatively small range of jig bed density layers. These limits are omitted or incorrectly presented in the descriptions of the phenomena occuring in the jig operation in most of existing papers. Correct conditions and assumptions of probabilistic model of these phenomena are presented. The construction of this probabilistic model does not have any restrictions for proper creation of the density layers of jig bed and amount of mass distributed in these layers. The experimental validation of this model in the laboratory conditions is possible in particular situation. Additionally this model explains some errors existing in gravitional benefication theory.

Ab initio and density functional theory (DFT) calculations were carried out on the energetic propellant molecule 2,4,6-trinitro-1,3,5-triazine (TNTA) to understand its bond topology and its energetic properties using the theory of atoms in molecules (AIM). The DFT method predicts that the electron density ρ bcp (r) at the bond critical points of ring C-N bonds is ∼ 2.34 e Å -3 and the corresponding Laplacian ∇ 2 ρ bcp(r) is ∼ -24.4 e Å -5 ; whereas these values are found to be very small in the -NO2 group attached to C-N bonds [ρ bcp(r): ∼ 1.73 e Å -3 and Δ 2 ρ bcp (r): ∼ -14.5 e Å -5 ]. The negative Laplacian values of C-NO 2 bonds are significantly lower which indicates that the charges of these bonds are highly depleted. The C-NO2 bonds exhibit low bond order (∼ 0.8), as well as low (∼ 56.4 kcal/mol) bond dissociation energy. As we reported in our earlier studies, we found high bond charge depletion for these bonds, which are considered the weakest bonds in the molecule. The frontier orbital energies exhibit a wide band gap, which is larger than those of existing molecules TATB, TNT and TNB. The impact sensitivity (H 50 %) (4.2 m) and oxygen balance (2.77%) were calculated and compared with related structures. Large negative electrostatic potential regions were found near the nitro groups where reaction is expected to occur. The relation between charge depletion ∇ 2 ρ bcp(r) and the electrostatic potential at the bond midpoints V mid reveals the sensitive areas of the molecule.

The ab initio crystal density, bond topological and explosive properties of the energetic molecule 2-methyl-5-nitraminotetrazole (MNAT) have been calculated by the MOLPAK/PMIN software and the AIM theory. The density predicted from the crystal structure simulation almost matches the experimental density. The geometrical parameters of the molecule lifted from the crystal structure are in very close agreement with the reported X-ray molecular structure. The bond topological analysis predicts a signifcantly low bond electron density, as well as a less Laplacian of electron density, for the N–NO2 bond. The Laplacian for the bond to the attached methyl group, the C(2)–N(2) bond, is also found to be less negative; the less negative values of the Laplacian confrms that these are the weakest bonds in the molecule. The impact sensitivity (h50) of the molecule has been calculated, and is almost equal to the reported experimental value. The sensitivity of the molecule was also estimated from the electrostatic imbalance parameter and has the value ν = 0.242. The isosurface of the electrostatic potential of the molecule displays a high negative electrostatic potential region around the tetrazole ring and the nitramine N–N bond, which are the possible reactive locations in the molecule.

Opis:
Dry dense-medium fluidized bed separation provides a new alternative approach for coal beneficiation and cleaning. An indicator of segregation degree Sash was proposed to evaluate the stratified performance of coal samples by bed density. Fluidization stability of the bed was greatly enhanced by mixing a certain amount (21.53%) of fine magnetite powder (< 0.15 mm) into the fluidized media, which indicated a uniform density distribution as well as slight fluctuations in bed. It was found that the favorable density-segregation performance of 3–13 mm coarse coal occurred with a static bed height of 80 mm and a superficial gas velocity of 11.84 cm/s. The optimal segregation degree values of 0.67, 0.74 and 0.76 were obtained for 3–6, 6–10 and 10–13 mm coal samples, respectively. Low-ash clean coal with yields of 50.79, 56.83 and 61.24% were effectively acquired by the dry separation for various coal size fractions, respectively. Probable error values of 0.07, 0.055 and 0.05 g/cm3 were achieved, indicating good separation performance.
