    Opis:
    This article examines the legal and philosophical foundations of international environmental law. It analyses the legal regime of the Common Heritage of Mankind (Humankind) (CHM), Common Concern of Mankind (Humankind) (CCM), and the principles of intra- and intergenerational equity. The regime of CHM covers the Moon and other celestial bodies and the “Area” under the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. The regime of CCM relates to areas such as climate change and biodiversity. Both CHM and CCM are based on a premise that certain areas of human activities are held in common interest for the whole community of States. In this context, the article claims that the underlying, foundational principles of international environmental law have the common theme of intra- and intergenerational equity.

    Koncepcje nawiązujące do sprawiedliwości ekologicznej wydają się być głęboko zakorzenione w prawnych regulacjach działalności w Obszarze. Konwencja Narodów Zjednoczonych o prawie morza wielokrotnie podkreśla konieczność ochrony ekologicznego i ekonomicznego interesu obecnych i przyszłych pokoleń przy prowadzeniu działalności wydobywczej w obszarze dna morskiego. W świetle coraz bardziej rychłej perspektywy rozpoczęcia działalności wydobywczej w obszarze dna morskiego morza pełnego konieczną staje się refleksja nad stopniem przygotowania Międzynarodowej Organizacji Dna Morskiego do realizacji swoich funkcji w zakresie reprezentowania interesu ludzkości.
    The concept of intergenerational justice is deeply rooted into the regulation of activities in the Area. United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea on many occasions stresses the need to protect the marine environment in the interest of both contemporary and future generations. One of the institutions with vast competences in this field is the International Seabed Authority. With a perspective on inevitable commercial exploration and exploitation of seabed resourcesthere is a need to answer the question if the Seabed Authority is properly prepared both in the field of law and policy to act as a steward of a mankind?Which instruments has been developed to ensure sustainable use of seabed resources and which of them are at the disposal of the International Seabed Authority? Finally, are the standards of the protection of seabed environment sufficient to satisfy the needs of contemporary consumption without diminishing the ability of the mankind in the future to freely choose their path of development? We can assume that environmental standards which would protect the interest of future people would also secure the sustainability in contemporary use of common heritage at the Seas. International Seabed Authority and international law of the sea can play important role in this process by shaping the future of the mankind with actions undertaken today.

    Opis:
    The purpose of this paper is to analyze the terms the common good in the field of canon law and common heritage of mankind in the field of international law, both embedded in the discourse of the specialist text of pastoral constitution Gaudium et Spes (1956) and the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (1982). The analysis of the test consists on the extraction of definitions and collocations from the texts in question provided in three languages (Polish, French and Spanish). The aim of the analysis is to examine the syntax of Polish, French and Spanish and to show the reality and the relations embodied in them.
    Dobro wspólne i wspólne dziedzictwo ludzkości – studium terminów w języku polskim, francuskim i hiszpańskimCelem niniejszego artykułu jest analiza terminów dobro wspólne w dziedzinie prawa kanonicznego i wspólne dziedzictwo ludzkości w dziedzinie prawa międzynarodowego, osadzonych w dyskursie tekstu specjalistycznego konstytucji pastoralnej Gaudium et spes (1956) i konwencji ONZ o prawie morza (1982). Analiza tekstu opiera się na wydobyciu wypowiedzi definicyjnych i kolokacji terminów badanych z tekstów w trzech językach (polski, francuski i hiszpański). Analiza stawia sobie za cel ukazanie rzeczywistości i relacji zapisanych przez język polski, francuski i hiszpański za pomocą odpowiednich struktur składniowych.
