With the changing technology, humanity has reached Industry 4.0 starting from the steam engine. With these developments, human resources in the organisations need to store and process data. A new application that enables digital human resources to easily access its data is cloud computing. The aim of this article is analyse how cloud technologies affect human resources management in Turkey. A descriptive method was used in this paper to explain the concept of digitalism in the discussed area and analyse the relationship between cloud system and digital human resources management. Data was drawn from the scientific and professional literature documents on this subject. Many organisations do not have enough knowledge about cloud computing in Turkey. There are also concerns about cloud systems security and economic equilibrium of companies. It is predicted that companies that adopt this technology will have a more efficient and comfortable human resources process and become more prosperous. Organisations should work for the development of human resources management system by digitising it. Organisations whose number of employees is increasing day by day, face problems, but they can handle this situation through the careful implementation of cloud computing. Cloud systems provide organisations with benefits such as storage capacity and easy access to data anytime and anywhere.

The article presents the issues covering the modern ERP cloud systems for manufacturing companies within the currently developed concept Industry 4.0. In this approach, research problems arose as to which parameters and characteristics of ERP cloud systems are the most important from the point of view of manufacturing companies as well as how the process of choosing an ERP system should be conducted. In addition, mutual relationships between these parameters were established. In the article, a multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) was used to assess these characteristics. The Decision making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) technique was chosen for this assessment. The article can be useful to people interested in modern IT solutions in the production industries.

For urban electric buses, it is important to develop a schedule for fast charging of batteries as a function of existing operating conditions. The paper presents a model for the optimization of charging process of electric bus batteries in the electric vehicle charging station system on their routes, with a determined structure. The place and time of battery charging are selected as a function of the existing bus operating conditions, assessment of the battery charge level and location in the transport urban infrastructure, using the Monte Carlo simulation approach. The aim of the article is to optimize the speed of electric buses with the use of cloud computing aimed at the collision-free use of a limited number of charging stations for electric vehicles on their routes and minimizing the total energy demand.

Cloud computing is a business model with high degree of flexibility, scalability in providing infrastructure, platform and software as a service over the internet. Cloud promises for easiness and reduced expense to service providers and consumers. However, a lack of trust between these two stakeholders has hindered the universal accep¬tance of cloud for outsourced services. In this paper, a fuzzy based trust management system is proposed to facilitate cloud consumers in identifying trustworthy providers. The performance of the proposed system is validated through a simulation using CloudAnalyst and Simulink.

The Internet has evolved from connecting people and later videos, photos, and text to more recently physical objects. Using sensors, physical objects can “talk” (transmit data) to each other and even command each other to perform a physical act. As things and people become more connected, such objects will also become part of social net-works, much in the same way that people tag photos on Facebook. In this way, the value of such objects will increase for both research and learning. The IOT and Cloud computing technologies can provide solutions for the above-mentioned problems in the education system. Cloud computing enables users to control and access data via the Internet. The main users of a typical higher education cloud include students, faculty, administrative staff, Examination Branch and Admission Branch. All the main users of the institution are connected to the cloud. Separate login is provided for all the users for their respective work[12]. Teachers can upload their class Tutorials, assignments, and tests on the cloud server which students will be able to access all the teaching material provided by the teachers via the Internet using computers and other electronic devices both at home and college and 24X7. This paper focuses on the integration of Cloud and IOT for the education system. Connected de-vices can help make life easier for students with special needs. Many of the daydreams for IOT in education involve students taking advantage of new technologies to complete cool new projects.

This paper analyses the idea of applying Swarm Intelligence in the process of managing the entire 2D board game in a real-time environment. For the proposed solution Game Management System is used as a cloud resource with a dedicated intelligent control agent. The described approach has been analysed on the basis of board games like mazes. The model and the control algorithm of the system is described and examined. The results of the experiments are presented and discussed to show possible advantages and isadvantages of the proposed method.

Defects affect the properties and behavior of the casting during its service life. Since the defects can occur due to different reasons, they must be correctly identified and categorized, to enable applying the appropriate remedial measures. several different approaches for categorizing casting defects have been proposed in technical literature. They mainly rely on physical description, location, and formation of defects. There is a need for a systematic approach for classifying investment casting defects, considering appropriate attributes such as their size, location, identification stage, inspection method, consistency, appearance of defects. A systematic approach for categorization of investment casting defects considering multiple attributes: detection stage, size, shape, appearance, location, consistency and severity of occurrence. Information about the relevant attributes of major defects encountered in investment casting process has been collected from an industrial foundry. This has been implemented in a cloud-based system to make the system freely and widely accessible.

The main features of the Cloud Computing system developed at IFJ PAN are described. The project is financed from the structural resources provided by the European Commission and the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education (Innovative Economy, National Cohesion Strategy). The system delivers a solution for carrying out computer calculations on a Private Cloud computing infrastructure. It consists of an intuitive Web based user interface, a module for the users and resources administration and the standard EC2 interface implementation. Thanks to the distributed character of the system it allows for the integration of a geographically distant federation of computer clusters within a uniform user environment.

Opis:
The application of quadcopter and intelligent learning techniques in urban monitoring systems can improve flexibility and efficiency features. This paper proposes a cloud-based urban monitoring system that uses deep learning, fuzzy system, image processing, pattern recognition, and Bayesian network. The main objectives of this system are to monitor climate status, temperature, humidity, and smoke, as well as to detect fire occurrences based on the above intelligent techniques. The quadcopter transmits sensing data of the temperature, humidity, and smoke sensors, geographical coordinates, image frames, and videos to a control station via RF communications. In the control station side, the monitoring capabilities are designed by graphical tools to show urban areas with RGB colors according to the predetermined data ranges. The evaluation process illustrates simulation results of the deep neural network applied to climate status and effects of the sensors’ data changes on climate status. An illustrative example is used to draw the simulated area using RGB colors. Furthermore, circuit of the quadcopter side is designed using electric devices.

Opis:
Radioactive aerosols in the confined workplace are a major source of internal exposure hazards for workers. Cloud-type radioactive aerosol elimination system (CRAES) have great potential for radioactive aerosol capture due to their high adsorption capacity, lack of cartridges and less secondary contamination. A CRAES was designed and constructed, and a FeOOH/rGO composite was directly prepared by a hydro-thermal method to characterise and analyse its morphology, chemical structure and removal efficiency for simulated radioactive aerosols. The results show that the FeOOH/rGO composite works in synergy with the CRAES to effectively improve the removal efficiency of simulated radioactive aerosols. A 30-minute simulated radioactive aerosol removal rate of 94.52% was achieved when using the experimentally optimized composite inhibitor amount of 2 mg/L FeOOH/rGO with 0.2 g/L PVA as a surfactant. Therefore, the CRAES coupled with the composite inhibitor FeOOH/rGO has broad application potential for the synergistic treatment of radioactive aerosols.

In the management processes of business organizations, it is necessary to make the best decisions that will increase the company’s competitiveness and optimize its operations. IT systems such as Business Intelligence are helpful in this. Even more can be achieved when these systems are based on cloud technologies. The article introduces the topic of BI systems and cloud technologies and indicates differences in performance between a system based on a physical server and the environment of analytical services based on cloud technologies.

In this paper the authors are discussing a community-driven system for reporting via smartphones road acceleration data, processed on-the-fly in the cloud computing system for finding possible road artefacts as well as assessing overall road quality on the driver-friendly RRUI scale. The proposed system uses smartphones mounted in a car with little to no calibration or initial setup. By performing a fast analysis in the cloud, data are made immediately available for other users. The system continuously sends to end users' devices data about road quality issues "in exchange" for acceleration information.

W artykule przedstawiono mobilny system tworzenia przestrzennej dokumentacji semantycznej. Zaproponowano nową metodę filtracji oraz rejestracji danych wykorzystującą obliczenia równoległe (NVIDIA FERMI). Opracowany system informatyczny umożliwia gromadzenie danych przestrzennych z wykorzystaniem geodezyjnego systemu pomiarowego 3D oraz pozwala na etykietowanie obiektów. Tworzona mapa semantyczna jest dostępna z poziomu dowolnego urządzenia mobilnego (laptop, smartphone, tablet).
In this paper a new system for creating spatial semantic documentation is shown. We define semantic documentation as a result of integrating semantic mapping with a mobile 3D geodetic scanning system and a cloud computer system. This approach is possible by using semantic mapping State of the Art [2], modern scanning techniques [3] and parallel computing [4]. The main task of the system is representing the environment with concepts of objects highlighted in it. The results are distributed in a cloud. The phases of system operation are shown in Fig. 1. Each phase is described in detail in consecutive sections of the paper. Section 1 describes the thought process behind the system and data acquisition with a ZF 5010 laser scanner. In Section 2 a CUDA(NVIDIA FERMI) enhanced scan filtration method is shown. The next step of data preparation, merging of 3D point clouds, is described in Section 3. Section 4 concentrates on manual environment conceptualization (map with object concepts is shown in Fig. 4). Semantic documentation distribution and sharing are described in Section 5. The results can be shown on any PC, tablet, smartphone or smartTV device, by using SaaS(Software as a Service) approach and Citrix system. The paper finalizes with conclusions and plans for further system development. The system is a new approach to sharing information about the environment and it may be applied i.e. in Crisis Management for coordinating complicated rescue operations, in interior design and cataloguing etc.

This paper describes many types of public cloud computing and problem with cloud computing security. Cloud computing is the use of computing resources that are delivered as a service over a network. Cloud computing relies on sharing of resources to achieve coherence and economies of scale similar. The paper presents the several years' experience of the AMR (Automated Meters Reading) system operation based on a private cloud. AMR projects are successfully used by numerous local and national utilities but it was one of the first projects based on cloud technology. This system AMR was implemented in a utility company. The computer system has been working commercially since 2008. Users have to connect to server using Remote Desktop Connection. It was a new solution for the users. They were accustomed to the fact that all the programs they had installed on own PC. The past experience show that the cloud computing is a very forward-looking technology which can be used in systems AMR/AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure).

The purpose of this paper is to present the idea of using cloud computing and RFID identification system in a car park. The presented system is able to navigate a vehicle to a parking space in the shortest time and to reduce traffic jams thanks to RFID transponders built in parking spaces. The system uses a combination of autonomous and master control to navigate the vehicles. It can execute different traffic scenarios depending on the availability of park spaces and navigate each vehicle using an autonomous route. A dedicated software algorithm for the navigation was also proposed and developed. The system utilizes an external cloud-based database of RFID transponders. A prototype model of car park equipped with RFID technology was designed and built to demonstrate the presented idea.

Opis:
The advantages of cloud computing - flexibility, data security, lowering the cost of computer hardware and more - are leading to an increasing number of activities using these technologies. The first full cloud-based 3D CAD system, Onshape, allows not to worry about the technical problems inherent in common software in technical drawing instructions, but rather to focus on the core of the subject. Excellent information sharing capabilities and document creation history train learners to deal with real-world working conditions.
Zalety przetwarzania w chmurze punktów - elastyczność, bezpieczeństwo danych, obniżenie kosztów sprzętu komputerowego i inne - prowadzą do coraz większej liczby działań z wykorzystaniem tych technologii. Pierwszy, w pełni oparty na chmurze punktów, system CAD 3D Onshape nie stwarza problemów technicznych, które mogą występować w typowym oprogramowaniu w instrukcjach rysunków technicznych przez co pozwala skupić się na istocie tematu. Doskonałe możliwości wymiany informacji i historii tworzenia dokumentów ułatwiają, osobom uczącym się, radzenia sobie w rzeczywistych warunkach pracy.

Opis:
This paper proposes an advanced Internet of Things (IoT) system for measuring, monitoring, and recording some power quality (PQ) parameters. The proposed systemis designed and developed for both hardware and software. For the hardware unit, three PZEM-004T modules with non-invasive current transformer (CT) sensors are used tomeasure the PQ parameters and an Arduino WeMos D1 R1 ESP8266 microcontroller isused to receive data from the sensors and send this data to the server via the internet. For the software unit, an algorithm using Matlab software is developed to send measurement datato the ThingSpeak cloud. The proposed system can monitor and analyse the PQ parameters including frequency, root mean square (RMS) voltage, RMS current, active power, and the power factor of a low-voltage load in real-time. These PQ parameters can be stored on theThingSpeak cloud during the monitoring period; hence the standard deviation in statistics of the voltage and frequency is applied to analyse and evaluate PQ at the monitoring point.The experimental tests are carried out on low-voltage networks 380/220 V. The obtained results show that the proposed system can be usefully applied for monitoring and analysing chosen PQ parameters in micro-grid solutions.

Opis:
In this paper, we propose a distributed system for point cloud processing and transferring them via computer network regarding to effectiveness-related requirements. We discuss the comparison of point cloud filters focusing on their usage for streaming optimization. For the filtering step of the stream pipeline processing we evaluate four filters: Voxel Grid, Radial Outliner Remover, Statistical Outlier Removal and Pass Through. For each of the filters we perform a series of tests for evaluating the impact on the point cloud size and transmitting frequency (analysed for various fps ratio). We present results of the optimization process used for point cloud consolidation in a distributed environment. We describe the processing of the point clouds before and after the transmission. Pre- and post-processing allow the user to send the cloud via network without any delays. The proposed pre-processing compression of the cloud and the post-processing reconstruction of it are focused on assuring that the end-user application obtains the cloud with a given precision.

W artykule przedstawiono problemy związane z wykorzystywaniem przez system edukacji chmury obliczeniowej. Zwrócono uwagę na podstawowe zalety i wady chmury obliczeniowej Przeanalizowano obecny stan wykorzystania chmury obliczeniowej w edukacji i możliwości dalszego jej wdrażania w polskiej oświacie. Uwzględniono tak aspekty merytoryczne związane z jej wykorzystaniem, jak również kwestie dotyczące finasowania sprzętu teleinformatycznego niezbędnego do prawidłowego funkcjonowania chmury obliczeniowej. Przedstawiono problemy związane z utrzymaniem na odpowiednim poziomie stanu technicznego, infrastruktury chmury obliczeniowej w jednostkach oświatowych. Wskazano na konieczność szkolenia nauczycieli pod kątem efektywnego i bezpiecznego jej wykorzystywania. Omówiono komercyjne i bezpłatne programy, które mogą zostać wykorzystane przez uczniów i nauczycieli do korzystania z chmury obliczeniowej w procesie dydaktycznym.
This article presents problems related to the use of the cloud computing by the educational system. A special attention is drawn to basic advantages and disadvantages of a computing cloud. The present state of the use of the computing cloud in education is analyzed, as well as possibilities of its further introduction to the educational system. Substantive aspects related to its use, but also financial issues are considered. The latter strongly influence the teleinformatics hardware crucial for a proper functioning of a computing cloud. The maintained problems are presented, that include the level of use and the technical performance of the computing cloud infrastructure in the education units. The need of teacher trainings is emphasized, that will increase the effectiveness and safety of the use of the computing cloud. Both commercial and free software is discussed that may be used by the students and the teachers for the use of the computing cloud in the didactics processes.

Cavitation is one of the most interesting phenomena in area of fluid flow research. It can be observed in many different hydraulic systems and its effects can be very serious. Basic problem with cavitation is its observation. The main aim of the paper is to propose and evaluate the simple method allowing registration of the cavitation cloud shape, which will be financially and computationally undemanding. Therefore, the article presents the system registering the shape of cavitation cloud. It is based on the optoelectronic devices, i.e. lasers and photoresistors, as well as on the assumption that cavitation leads to diffusion of lasers light on the vapor bubbles. The experiment was performed for three cavitation inducers and two flow velocities. Obtained results shows that the shape of cavitation cloud is dependent on the inducer, but not on flow velocity. It can be concluded that the described optoelectronic system can be regarded as an inexpensive alternative to traditional methods of cavitation observation.

Artykuł prezentuje system zdalnego sterowania i pomiarów rozproszony w sieci Internet. System składa się z urządzeń końcowych (instalowanych w zdalnych lokalizacjach) oraz infrastruktury informatycznej (IT). Technologia wirtualizacji pozwala na wykorzystanie zaawansowanej infrastruktury przy zachowaniu niskich kosztów. Przykłady instalacji obejmują monitorowanie wymiennikowni ciepła (m.in. zdalny odczyt liczników energii), czy zdalne pomiary meteorologiczne (za pośrednictwem sieci GSM).
The paper presents a SCADA system distributed in the Internet. The system consists of endpoint devices (installed in the remote localizations) and an information technology (IT) infrastructure. The virtualization technology allows maintaining a low cost of an advanced IT infrastructure. The cost is proportional to the used computing power and each user does not require an individual, professional server. Moreover, the devices communicate with the server only to exchange recently acquired data and control commands. All data storage is done by a virtual server. Thus, the cost of data transfer in case of the GSM devices is very low (data is transported to the server once, and there is no additional data access cost). Moreover, the server provides flexible interfaces for integration with other SCADA and IT systems. The endpoint devices are very simple (no advanced data processing), which results in low fixed costs of installation. Data exchange between the devices and the virtual server is secured. Example installations cover monitoring of a heat power exchange station (along with reading of remote M-bus energy meters) or a meteo station. The system architecture is shown in Fig. 4.

In this paper, description of a concept of cloud storage is offered. Cloud data storage is a model of an online storage where the data is being stored in multiple, divided between network servers that are provided for clients’ usage, mostly by a third-party company. The majority of the cloud storages (as opposed to file-exchangers) are offering almost boundless set of functions for free, by only limiting the size of the available storage (mostly a couple of gigabytes). Integrated data mining is being used for extracting potentially useful information from unprocessed data. The methods of data analysis are quite important with cloud computing. The implementation of the methods of integrated data mining inside the cloud will let the users receive the helpful information from non-structured or half-constructed web data sources. The main purpose of this work is to organize huge diverse data coming from different sources into clusters, depending on the type of data.

This paper presents a navigation system structure for mobile service robots in the agent-based distributed architecture. The proposed navigation system is a part of the RAPP framework. The RAPP framework is an open-source software platform to support the creation and delivery of robotic applications, which are expected to increase the versatility and utility of robots. All key navigation tasks are defined and divided into separate components. The proper allocation of navigation components, in the fouragent structure of the RAPP infrastructure, enables highdemanding computations offloading and was the main goal of this work. Navigation system components were implemented using ROS framework. Experimental results for the NAO robot executing risks detection task proved the validity of the proposed approach.
