Social media are deemed influential in making decisions and seeking advice. Due to their explosive growth as critical channels for information, their content can trigger a place visit, a change of transport mode or destination, or plans’ cancellation. The main objective of this paper is to investigate the influence of social media on users’ activity and mobility planning. Responses of 738 participants in a digital survey were used to formulate ordinal regression models. The developed models determine the contribution of users’ demographic characteristics, travel characteristics and social media usage to mobility decisions after using social media as a source of information. These decisions were expressed in two dependent variables; (i) the impact of social media use in activity and mobility planning; (ii) the impact of the proposed transport mode by social media information, on mode choice. Analysis of the results indicated that the models, which considered all the characteristics together, could better predict the two variables.

In this article we analyzed the recent state and the perspectives of the Ukrainian mechanical engineering complex, characterized main ways to improve the efficiency of this economy sector. Here are determined new quality characteristics of the mechanical engineering enterprise's operational environment. We proposed the classification of existing methods that explain the phenomenon of adaptation and opened their gist. We pointed out the main groups of factors which activate the adaptive planning mechanisms of the innovative activity at the mechanical engineering enterprises. We proposed the definition of "adaptive planning mechanisms of the innovative activity". Here are characterized the components of the adaptive planning mechanisms of the innovative activity at the mechanical engineering enterprises and their influence on its development. We also made prognosis on how enterprises can alternatively demonstrate their adaptive properties, characterized the main phases of mechanical engineering enterprise's development. In this paper we proposed conceptual model of essential expression of innovative activity adaptive planning mechanism at the mechanical engineering enterprises depending on factors which influence it.

Planning, including planning in logistics, consists the primary function of management, as it is logically and chronologically first in the management process. The efficiency of the subsequent activities in the company depends on the proper realization of this stage. Therefore, finding possibilities of improving this part of management process, aimed at reducing the risk of undertaken planning decisions, creates an important issue in the research activity. One of the possible ways of improving planning process is to integrate it within internal company’s activity, as well as to include it to cooperation with partners. As a result, the aim of this article is to identify needs and opportunities of integration for selected planning levels in company’s work.

The study is aimed at presenting a group of instruments used in Polish administrative law to protect a family. The main focus is placed on showing a variety of plans, programmes, strategies and other similar forms of activity of public administration, which are issued by the state administration and self-government administration. Special attention is paid to a legal nature of plans and tasks connected with planning.

W 2004 r. Polska ratyfikowała Europejską Konwencję Krajobrazową, jednakpo 10 latach w polskim prawie nadal brak odrębnych aktów prawnych odnoszących się wyłącznie do krajobrazu. Wydaje się, że brak całościowego i przejrzystego systemu ochrony, norm i standardów projektowych poprawiających jakość współczesnego krajobrazukulturowego oraz ogólnopolskiej kampanii edukacyjno-promocyjnej w zakresie ochrony jego zasobów może przekładać się na niski poziom  świadomości i aktywności społecznej, zwłaszcza w odniesieniu do specyfiki dziedzictwa kulturowego wsi. Celem artykułu jest określenie poziomu świadomości i aktywności społecznej w dziedzinie kształtowania i ochrony krajobrazu kulturowego obszarów wiejskich. Przeprowadzono badania ankietowe, którymi objęto mieszkańców wsi na terenie gmin wiejskich i miejsko-wiejskich województwa wielkopolskiego. Dokonano również analizy projektów zgłoszonych do konkursu „Pięknieje wielkopolska wieś” w celu określenia zróżnicowania przestrzennego i kierunków aktywności społecznej w procesie kształtowania i ochrony krajobrazu kulturowego.
In 2004 Poland ratified the European Landscape Convention, but after 10 years Polish law still lacks separate acts referring exclusively to the landscape. It seems that the absence of a comprehensive and clear protection system, project norms and standards improving the quality of the modern cultural landscape, and an all-Polish educational-promotional campaign for the protection of its resources may translate into a low level of social awareness and activity, especially concerning the specificity of the cultural heritage of the countryside. This article seeks to establish the level of social awareness and activity in the planning and protection of the cultural landscape of rural areas. Asurvey research was conducted among country people living in the rural and urban-rural communes of Wielkopolska voivodeship. An analysis was also made of projects submitted for the competition “Rural Wielkopolska Growing More Beautiful” to determine spatial differences in and directions of social activity in the process of planning and protection of the cultural landscape.

In this article author is trying to show the topic of strategic planning in the structure of State Fire Service. The article presents process of creating documents with take adventage of "The balanced scorecard". The author of this article presents exemplary use of described methods for creating by State Fire Service's strategic aims. The informations from this article approach the topic of strategic planning in state institutions and also they can create discussion about planning aims and tasks in different time-intervals and level of organizing.

As far as market activities are concerned, we deal with resolution of problems which arise in neuralgic areas (contacts, feedback) and are responsible for the flow of different kinds of resources (tangible and intangible). In most cases, logistic subjects, treated as formal organisations, take part in the process of solving them. These organisations must be managed to function properly in the market economy. Hence, the nature of management and implementation of its basic functions have been indicated in the paper. Particularly, the attention was paid to the planning as the basis for all activities by a formal organisation. Theoretical arguments have been supported by selected examples, connected, in many cases, with the activities of logistic subjects.

Sporządzanie dokumentacji geologicznych, jest podstawową formą przekazywania informacji o wynikach badań geologicznych, które są wykorzystywane w praktyce. Na zagadnienia etyczne jej sporządzana i odpowiedzialność wykonawcy często zwraca się niedostateczną uwagę. Geolog jest twórcą informacji wykorzystywanych w praktyce. Możliwość sprawdzania ich poprawności jest ograniczona i korzystanie z dokumentacji jest oparte na zaufaniu jej wykonawcy, że przedstawione w niej dane są rzetelne a ich interpretacja poprawna. Zawód geologa wymaga zatem zaufania publicznego i poczucia odpowiedzialności za przedstawiane wyniki prac geologicznych. Wszelkie wątpliwości odnośnie przedstawianych informacji geologicznych, powinny być rzetelnie przedstawiane ich użytkownikowi. Ograniczoność wiedzy geologicznej, możliwość popełniania błędów w interpretacji danych powoduje konieczność oceny opracowań dokumentacyjnych przez niezależnych kompetentnych opiniodawców („koreferentów”).
Geological report is the basic tool of presentation of results of geological field work. It is used in various practical applications. The ethical problems of their presentation and geologist responsibility of it are seldom discussed. The possibility of immediate verification of geological data and interpretation is limited and utilization of geological reports is based on confidence as to its correctness. Geologist should be always aware of professional responsibility. All doubts on data and interpretations should be presented to the customer of report, to avoid erroneous or harmful its understanding and utilization. Because the possibility of not correct interpretations of geological data exist, due to the imperfectness of geological knowledge, the opinion of independent person is always indispensable.

One of the rationalization areas is the material supply process. New tasks of material supply are: integration of supply with the operation of the entire system, especially at the product design stage, effective use of material resources, reduction of the level of supply costs from the point of view of production costs. In the conditions of unit and small batch production the materials requirement needs to be carefully planned and optimized due to the use of many different kinds, types and sizes of materials and dynamic changes of demand over time. In this situation there are needed tools enabling the measurement of production costs for particular tasks on the basis of currently realized processes. One of these tools is activity based costing which is a groundwork for decision making process in the material supply area. Basing on activity based costing, a model of materials requirements planning was developed, which considers minimizing the number of different kinds and sizes of materials by using alternative materials and, consequently, lowering production costs.

The article is dedicated the improvement of methods of the strategic planning of enterprises activity for providing its greater effectiveness and practicality in application. This days the Ukrainian enterprises have problem of absence of the management strategic instruments adapted to the market conditions. Namely – a base index after which it is possible to measure progress of the strategy realization and functioning efficiency of firm is absent. A research purpose is a scientific ground of application of the strategic planning tools on production enterprises in the conditions of unstable external environment. The purpose of the article is forming of the indicators evaluation system which would allow quickly and effectively trace changes in external and internal surroundings of enterprise and to react on them quickly. Task to the article is forming of the balanced scorecard system and complex estimation of using of the enterprise strategic potential resource; calculation of the enterprise strategic development scorecards; development of the enterprise strategic contour. Research results are: directions of improvement of development of the enterprise balanced scorecard system by the calculation of integral indexes of success in the key spheres of the enterprise functioning. Methodology of construction of strategic contour of the enterprise activity is proposed.
Artykuł poświęcony doskonaleniu metodologii planowania strategicznego działalności przedsiębiorstw w celu zapewnienia większej skuteczności i praktyczności w zastosowaniu. Na dziś ukraińskie przedsiębiorstwa borykają się z problemem braku strategicznych narzędzi zarządzania dostosowanych do warunków rynkowych. A mianowicie – brak podstawowego wskaźnika, na podstawie którego można zmierzyć skuteczność realizacji strategii i efektywności funkcjonowania firmy. Celem badania jest naukowe uzasadnienie wdrożenia narzędzi planowania strategicznego w zakładach produkcyjnych w warunkach niestabilnego otoczenia. Celem artykułu jest kształtowanie oceny systemu wskaźników, które by pozwalały szybko i skutecznie śledzić zmiany w zewnętrznym i wewnętrznym otoczeniu przedsiębiorstwa i w porę reagować. Zadania artykułu: kształtowanie strategiczney karty wyników i kompleksowa ocena strategicznego wykorzystania potencjału zasobów przedsiębiorstwa; obliczanie wskaźników rozwoju strategicznego przedsiębiorstwa; opracowanie strategicznego obiegu przedsiębiorstwa. Wyniki badania: oferowane kierunki doskonalenia rozwoju strategiczney karty wyników przedsiębiorstwa poprzez obliczenie integralnych wskaźników sukcesu w kluczowych obszarach funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstwa. Zaproponowana metodyka budowania strategicznego szlaku działalności przedsiębiorstwa.

Celem artykułu jest wykazanie, że wdrażanie wymienionych koncepcji związane jest z upowszechnieniem metod zarządzania polegających na realizacji programów zaspokajających potrzeby publiczne z jednoczesną troską o poprawę efektywności wydatkowanych środków pieniężnych i jakości świadczonych usług. Jedną z istotniejszych metod jest planowanie wieloletnie traktowane jako podstawa do tworzenia planów rocznych, czyli budżetów. W prezentowanym tekście przedstawiono również polskie regulacje prawne w tym zakresie.
In the article, the authors discuss issues concerning the financial management of the modern state, referring to good governance practices based on the concept of New Public Management ( NPM - New Public Management ) and public governance ( public management ). The purpose of this article is to demonstrate that the implementation of these concepts is related to the dissemination of management methods involving the implementation of programs addressing public needs with simultaneous concern for improving the efficiency of cash expenditure and quality of services. One of the most important methods of long-term planning is regarded as a basis to create annual plans or budgets. The article also presents polish regulations in this regard.

Vessels designed for navigation in ice can perform voyage with the assistance of icebreaker in the navigation season in case an ice cover area is less than 20%. Whereas the same vessels could carry out successfully completed voyage through the NSR with intensive icebreaker help at the ice-covered area lower than 42%. Navigation of the same vessel at ice covered area above 80% is possible with intensive icebreaker help, but it threatens to damage the hull, rudder or propeller. Excessive generalization of data analyzed may cause to wrong, even opposite conclusions. Using only basic statistical information in the form of average values and standard deviation may be not sufficient for the purpose of vessel’s voyage planning in areas covered with ice. Much more opportunities for the assessment of navigation in ice covered regions provides cumulative distribution, which should be related to the time and geographical space distribution. It allows to determine the duration of time window for given area covered with ice in a particular region and predetermined probability of its occurrence. It is thus possible to plan approximate date of departure and duration of voyage for assumed safety criteria. Also, it is possible to plan a number of consecutive voyages in a navigation season. Mathematical approach to voyage planning in ice based on a cumulative distribution is presented in the paper. It allows creation of an advisory computer application to support decision-making by the commander of a vessel. It will reduce the human factor in data processing and reduce possibility of making a mistake. By this way, can be enhanced the safety of maritime transport. Novell approach is verified on the example of historical data about the German Navy ship activity during the Second World War.
W 1940 Roku na Północnej Drodze Morskiej (PDM) panowały ekstremalnie lekkie warunki lodowe w stosunku do kilku lat wcześniejszych i późniejszych. Najniższa powierzchnia pokrywy lodowej w regionach PDM w latach 1940-1945 występowała średnio w pierwszej dekadzie września. Statki przeznaczone do żeglugi w lodach mogą realizować podróże ze wsparciem lodołamaczy w sezonie nawigacyjnym w przypadku, gdy powierzchnia pokrycia poszczególnych mórz lodem jest mniejsza niż 20%. Nawigacja tego samego statku w rejonach PDM pokrytych lodem powyżej 80% jest możliwa przy intensywnej pomocy lodołamacza, ale grozi uszkodzeniem kadłuba, steru lub śruby napędowej. Do błędnych a nawet przeciwnych wniosków może prowadzić nadmierne uogólnienie analizowanych danych. Wykorzystanie jedynie podstawowych informacji statystycznych w postaci wartości średnich i odchyleń standardowych może być niewystarczające do celów planowania podróży statku na akwenach pokrytych lodem. Znacznie więcej możliwości dla oceny warunków żeglugi w regionach pokrytych lodem zapewnia rozkład skumulowany, który powinien być związany z rozkładem czasowym i rozkładem geograficznym. Rozkład skumulowany pozwala określić czas trwania okienka czasowego występowania określonych warunków żeglugi lodowej statków dla określonej powierzchni pokrycia danego regionu lodem i założonego prawdopodobieństwa o wystąpienia takich warunków. W ten sposób można zaplanować przybliżoną datę początku podróży i czas trwania podróży dla przyjętych kryteriów bezpieczeństwa. Możliwe jest również zaplanowanie szeregu kolejnych podróży w jednym sezonie nawigacyjnym. Przedstawione matematyczne podejście do planowania podróży w lodzie oparte na rozkładzie skumulowanym pozwala na stworzenie doradczej aplikacji komputerowej wspierającej proces decyzyjny osoby dowodzącej statkiem. Zmniejszy to udział czynnika ludzkiego w przetwarzaniu danych i ograniczy możliwość popełnienia błędu. W ten sposób będzie można zwiększyć bezpieczeństwo transportu morskiego.

Mining activity may result in serious impact to the environment. According to Polish law, local development plan (enacted by the council of the local community) is an act of generally binding local law. It should provide information about the existence of mineral deposits and provide the needs of their current and future exploitation. In fact numerous plans do not provide any solution in that matter or even (directly or indirectly) are banning mining activity. According to Geological and Mining Law of 2011 mining activity may be undertaken only if it does not violate the destination of land determined by the local development plan (if such plan does not exist – the way of using the land determined by co called “studium of local development” that is nor local law) or particular acts of law (like establishing nature protective zones), who determine such destination. More restrictive solution refers to the environmental impact assessment (EIA), that must precede granting most mining concessions (licences). The result of EIA is so called environmental permit, which is the necessary element of the application for most mining concession (licences). The problem is, that environmental permit must be granted only in accordance with the determination of land provided by the local development plan.

The article discusses the missionary option as indicated by Pope Francis in his first apostolic exhortation. This challenging option can be lived fully only through a total commitment of all church structures. That is why it is interesting to reflect how one of the parish structures, namely the pastoral council, can contribute – according to its competences – to put into practice what has been enunciated in Evangelii gaudium.A particular contribution of the parish pastoral council consists primarily in the development of an adequate parish pastoral plan, which would have as its main goal to educate the parish as a missionary community, responsible for the transmission of the Christian faith in today’s world. The article also features some directions from the Papal document which must be taken into account and some practical suggestions which aid in reaching the delineated goals. A commitment of the parish pastoral council to fulfil this missionary choice enables this structure to see its role as oriented “to promote conformity of the life and actions of the People of God with the Gospel”.
