Opis:: Article is devoted to the peculiarities of the transformation of the territorial structure of the region, which has emerged from the deeply to the trans-border as a result of the delimitation of the post-Soviet geospace. Author identifies and describes main historic- -geographical region’s development periods. The landscape’s role and the role of attraction of ethnic groups in the formation of ethno-cultural regional specificity and regional identity are represented in this article. The article is devoted to the peculiarities of the transformation of the territorial structure of the region and reveals some prospects in the development of territorial structure of the region in terms of ethno-cultural complex. Author employed the results of her own field research.
Artykuł został poświęcony osobliwości przekształcania struktury terytorialnej regionu, która wyłoniła się z głębokiej transgraniczności w wyniku rozgraniczenia geopolityki postradzieckiej. Autorka identyfikuje i opisuje główne okresy rozwoju regionu historyczno-geograficznego. W artykule przedstawiono role krajobrazu i przyciągania grup etnicznych w kształtowaniu specyfiki regionalno-etnokulturowej oraz tożsamości regionalnej. Uwidacznia on również perspektywy rozwoju terytorialnej struktury regionu pod względem kompleksu etnokulturowego. Autorka wykorzystała wyniki własnych badań terenowych.

Opis:: В науковій літературі зустрічаються різні визначення понять «регіоналізм», «регіоналізація» та «міжрегіональна взаємодія». Процеси, пов’язані з глобалізацією та інтеграцією, знайшли втілення в ущільненні макрорегіональних зв’язків. Формування великих макроекономічних зон пріоритетного співробітництва охоплює сусідні і територіально близькі країни. Формування великих економічних просторів супроводжується створенням регіональних економічних організацій та інтеграційних об’єднань, спрямованих на поглиблення торговельно-економічної співпраці та регіонального поділу праці. Паралельно зі становленням великих економічних і політичних регіональних об’єднань на макрорівні, під впливом глобалізації прискорився процес диверсифікації функцій територіального управління всередині окремих держав. Перерозподіл владних повноважень усередині окремих країн розглядається як паралельний процес регіоналізації. До ознак регіоналізму на мікрорівні належать підвищення ролі субнаціональних територіальних спільнот, зростання їх зацікавленості в налагодженні тіснішої взаємодії з прикордонними територіями сусідніх країн. В найбільш загальному сенсі автор цієї статті розглядає регіоналізм як динамічну ознаку міжнародних політико-економічних процесів, позначених диверсифікацією функцій управління на різних рівнях суспільно-політичної організації. Методологія політичних наук розрізняє прояви регіоналізму на макро- та мікрорівнях. Різноманітні прояви регіоналізму знаходять втілення в оформленні великих економічних просторів, перерозподілі владних повноважень усередині окремих країн, підвищенні рівня регіонального самоуправління, розвитку міжрегіональних контактів та міжрегіональних інтеграційних зв’язків між сусідніми та /або територіально близькими країнами. Найбільш вдало практика міжрегіональної взаємодії застосовується у межах багатосторонніх інтеграційних об’єднань, насамперед у ЄС та ширшому європейському просторі, охопленому сферою дії європейських конвенцій та рішень у сфері просторового співробітництва територіальних співтовариств і влад, включно з органами місцевого і регіонального самоврядування. Взаємодія між субнаціональними регіонами включає укладенні угод між територіальними громадами сусідніх країн, створення міжрегіональних об’єднань і договірних структур міжрегіональної співпраці.
The scientific literature presents various definitions of the concepts of ‘regionalism’, ‘regionalization’ and ‘interregional interaction’. The processes associated with globalization and integration manifest themselves in the form of consolidation of macro-regional ties. The formation of big macroeconomic zones of priority cooperation covers neighbouring and geographically close countries. The consolidation of large economic spaces is accompanied by the creation of regional economic organizations and integration communities aimed at deepening trade, economic cooperation and regional division of labour. In parallel with the formation of large economic and political regional associations at the macro level, globalization has accelerated the process of diversification of territorial administration functions within individual states. The redistribution of power within individual countries is seen as a parallel process of regionalization at the grassroots level. The signs of regionalism at the micro level include the increasing role of subnational territorial communities, the growth of their interest in establishing closer cooperation with the border territories of neighboring countries. In the most general sense, the author considers regionalism as a dynamic feature of international political and economic processes, indicated by the diversification of management functions at different levels of socio-political organization. The methodology of political science distinguishes the manifestations of regionalisms at the macro and micro levels. Various manifestations of regionalism are embodied in the design of large economic spaces, the redistribution of power within individual countries, increasing the level of regional self-government, development of interregional contacts and interregional integration ties between neighbouring and/or geographically close countries. The practice of interregional cooperation is most successfully applied within the framework of multilateral integration associations, primarily in the EU and in the wider European space covered by the scope of European conventions and decisions in the field of spatial cooperation of territorial communities and authorities, including local and regional self-government. Interaction between subnational regions includes the conclusion of agreements between territorial communities of neighbouring countries, the creation of interregional associations and contractual networks of interregional cooperation.
