    Radio, seen as an accompanying medium needs to participate in the evolution of needs: change its style, create new forms of mutual relations, make use of a multitude of genres resulting from its multimedia status. In a certain sense radio is becoming a new medium, although it happily avails itself of its previously acquired attributes. In this context, the subject we are addressing is clearly included in this definitional composition. “Radio Rajdowe” is a specific media construction, the only initiative of its kind in public radio in Europe. It is a form created by the presence of the broadcaster in the public space. A broadcaster that is its chronicler and participant. It is also an event and an interesting project, well adapted to the Internet. It is the quintessence of the broadcaster-listener correlation, a symbiotic radio structure, combining in one the parent station and its creative “progeny”. It is an interesting communicative phenomenon, and thus worthy of such attention and analysis.

    Tysiąclecie Państwa Polskiego było jedną z największych kampanii medialnych w okresie PRL-u. Artykuł jest analizą zawartości powyższej tematyki na antenie regionalnej Polskiego Radia w Radiu Olsztyn. Jest także próba rozpoznania i omówienia kwestii związanych z antenowymi obchodami.
    Millennium of the Polish State was one of the greatest media campaign in the Polish People’s Republic. The main goal of this paper is to show the content of such programmes in the regional public broadcasting station-Polish Radio Olsztyn. The wide context of this issue based on the content of the radio programme is to be shown.

    Soundscape is a natural acoustic environment of man. Its elements are various constructions, listening impressions, recordings, programmes. While exploring this space, the researcher encounters many interesting aspects related to the contemporary perception of completed events in the form of auditive memory cultures. It can be saved and placed in the media. For example on Radio Olsztyn a public broadcaster from Warmia and Mazury in Poland. Therefore, it is possible to carry out research of the auditive cultural memory based on the radio programmes and their problematic issues. This specific, evolving cultural area of the region is worthy of analysis.

    The objective of this research is to estimate the model risk, represented as precision, and the accuracy of the Value at Risk (VaR) measure, under three different approaches: historical simulation (HS), Monte Carlo (MC), and generalized ARCH (GARCH). In this work, to analyze the VaR model, the accuracy and precision were used. Estimation of the accuracy and precision was done under the three approaches for four European banks at 95 and 99% confidence levels. The percentage crossings and Kupiec POF were used to judge the model accuracy, whereas the ratio of the maximum and minimum VaR estimates, and the spread between the maximum and minimum VaR estimates were used to estimate the model risk. This was achieved by changing input parameters, specifically, the estimation time window (125, 250, 500 days). Implications/Recommendations: The accuracy alone is not sufficient to evaluate a model and precision is also required. The temporal evolution of the precision metrics showed that the VaR approaches were inconsistent under different market conditions. This article focuses on the accuracy and precision concepts applied to estimate model risk of the Value at Risk (VaR). VaR is the foundation for sophisticated risk metrics, including systemic risk measures like Marginal Expected Shortfall and Delta Conditional Value at Risk. Thus, understanding the risk associated with the use of VaR is crucial for finance practitioners.

    „Raport o stanie świata” to popularny, autorski podcast o charakterze informacyjno-publicystycznym dotyczący istotnych wydarzeń międzynarodowych wpisanych w przestrzeń społeczną, polityczną i gospodarczą. Finansowany jest przez tak zwanych patronów za pośrednictwem serwisu Patronite. W roku 2020 jego autor Dariusz Rosiak otrzymał tytuł Dziennikarza Roku w konkursie Grand Press. Celem badań było poznanie motywacji patronów podcastu. W badaniach ankietowych przeprowadzonych za pośrednictwem zamkniętej grupy facebookowej, skupiającej patronów finansujących „Raport o stanie świata”, udział wzięło 80 respondentów. Odbyły się one między 10 a 21 maja 2021 roku. Do skonstruowania i dystrybucji ankiety wykorzystano platformę Google Forms. Zrealizowano także cztery wstępnie ustrukturyzowane wywiady z patronami podcastu w celu zebrania danych o charakterze jakościowym. Jak wynika z przeprowadzonych badań, aż 92,5% patronów zamierza dalej opłacać funkcjonowanie podcastu. Większość wskazała jako powód finansowego wsparcia jakość programu, osobowość prowadzących, zainteresowanie tematyką i chęć pomocy dziennikarzom. Badani zazwyczaj wyrażali pochlebne opinie na temat współpracy w grupie patronów. Jednym z niewielu mankamentów tej współpracy, wymienianym przez rozmówców, jest małe zaangażowanie moderatorów grupy facebookowej dedykowanej patronom.
    „Raport o stanie świata” is a popular podcast of an informative and journalistic nature, dealing with important international social, political and economic subject matters. It is financed by the so-called patrons via the service Patronite. The author Dariusz Rosiak was awarded the title of the Journalist of the Year in the Polish Grand Press competition in 2020. The aim of the research was to get to know the motivations of the podcast patrons. 80 respondents took part in the conducted survey by the usage of a closed Facebook group gathering subscribers financing „Raport o stanie świata”. The research was carried out from May 10 to May 21, 2021. The Google Forms platform was used to construct and distribute the survey. Four semi-structured interviews with podcast supporters were also organised in order to collect qualitative data. According to the survey results most of the subscribers indicate the quality of the programme, personality of the hosts, interest in the topic and willingness to help journalists as the reasons for financial support. The majority of the participants expressed flattering comments on cooperation in the group of supporters. However, some people noticed the problem of low involvement of the Facebook group moderators.

    Podcast Raport o stanie świata jest na polskim rynku medialnym rozpoznawalną marką. Zawdzięcza to jakości produkcji i osobowości twórcy – Dariusza Rosiaka. Raport… jest subiektywnym komentarzem na temat aktualnych wydarzeń, realizowanym przez Rosiaka i współpracowników. Odbiorcami podcastu są wierni i bardzo świadomi słuchacze, którzy mają wyrobione zdanie na temat produkcji, co dotyczy zwłaszcza patronów wspierających ją finansowo. Celem prezentowanych w artykule badań było poznanie opinii patronów na temat podcastu, a także sprawdzenie, kim są i z jakiej perspektywy dokonują swych ocen. Członkowie zespołu badawczego dołączyli do zamkniętej grupy patronów Raportu… na Facebooku i za jej pośrednictwem przeprowadzili badanie ankietowe, w którym udział wzięło 80 respondentów. Jako największe jej zalety ocenianej produkcji uczestnicy badania wskazywali jej duży profesjonalizm oraz walory poznawcze, jak również niezależność twórców. Doceniali też fakt, że audycja jest dystrybuowana w formie podcastu, co pozwala na wielokrotne korzystanie z niej w dowolnym miejscu i czasie.
    The podcast Raport o stanie świata (Report on the State of the World) is a recognizable brand on the Polish media market because of the quality of production and the personality of its creator – Dariusz Rosiak. Raport… is a subjective commentary on world events by Rosiak and his associates. Its recipients are a faithful and very conscious group of listeners who have a clear opinion about this production. This applies especially to the podcast patrons who support its activities financially and guarantee its functioning. The aim of the study was to find out what the patrons’ opinions about the podcast are. In this context, it was also important to check who the respondents are and from what perspective they evaluate it. The members of the research team joined the closed group of patrons of the Raport... on FB. It was used to conduct a survey with 80 respondents. The research took place between May 10 and May 21, 2021. The survey was created and distributed on the Google Forms platform. In addition, four pre-structured interviews with patrons were conducted via the Messenger application, which allowed for the implementation of some qualitative research. The interviews were recorded and transcribed. The participants of the research point towards the high professionalism of the production, its educational character, as well as the independence of the creators. They also appreciate the fact that the program is distributed in the form of a podcast, which allows one to peruse it repeatedly, anywhere and anytime.
