Opis:: The aim of the article is to present and analyse immovable finds and ceramic materials of the Mierzanowice, Trzicniec and Tarnobrzeg Lusatian cultures collected from site No. 1 in Wysoka, coming from trial excavations carried out in 1995. The uncovered ceramics indicate typical characteristics of the late phase of the Mierzanowice culture, the classical stage of development of the Trzciniec culture and the oldest phase of the Tarnobrzeg Lusatian culture. Research results in Wysoka, site 1 has also provided very important data on the specificity of settlement in the area of the Rzeszów Foothills.

Opis:: Liturgical ministry, which has its roots in the times before Jesus Christ’s birth, has been exercised by boys and young men for thousands years. The 20th century liturgical reforms have also opened doors to girls’ and women’s liturgical ministry. The aim of the article is to present the changes in celebration throughout history and to clarify the range of possibilities and general competences of women and girls during the celebration. The article presents state of the research in 2020 and does not include the issues raised in the motu proprio Spiritus Domini. The article is divided into four chronological parts. The first one deals with the archetypes of minsters from the Old Testament. The second one characterizes the evangelical context of the liturgical ministry. The third part describes the development of the altar boys’ service over the centuries. The fourth part concerns on the times after the Second Vatican Council, therefore on the actual liturgical renewal in the Church all over the world and in Poland. The text itself is based on the Holy Bible, the Church’s Magisterium’s documents and source literature. The thesis analyzes the above texts and is of analytical and theoretical nature. The result shows specific possibilities of women’s involvement in liturgical ministry structures. It also names the roles they undertake in liturgical groups during celebrations. Based on the available sources and historical circumstances it should be enabled for women and girls to engage in ministry that includes reading and singing, whereas the traditional liturgical ministry, apart from bringing the altar gifts by the laity, should be reserved for men and boys unless the diocesan bishop decides otherwise.

Opis:: Artykuł obejmuje rekonstrukcję dotąd nie uznanego przez etnografów haftu krajeńskiego z okolic Złotowa. Pierwsze trzy części artykułu mają charakter etnograficzny, zaś ostatnia antropologiczny. Dorota Angutek stawia tezę, że haft krajeński jest pochodną haftu kaszubskiego opracowanego przez Teodorę Gulgowską, jednak jego projektant pozostaje do dziś nieznany. W części pierwszej autorka przedstawia dotąd wykonane prace etnograficzne i amatorskie nad odtworzeniem ludowego haftu krajeńskiego; dokonuje ich typizacji. Współczesny haft krajeński przeniesiony na pozostałe obszary Krajny – powiat pilski, nakielski i sępoleński jest fenomenem nie występującym wcześniej na tych terenach i tworzy tzw. tradycję wytworzoną Część druga artykułu wskazuje na koneksje historyczne i formalne haftu kaszubskiego i karajeńskiego, oraz zawiera prezentację i interpretację dostępnych w muzeach Pomorza eksponatów z 1 połowy XX wieku . Ostatnia część pracy stanowi opis formalnych cech tego haftu od motywów, przez kompozycje po ściegi, a kończy się omówieniem niektórych niekanonicznych rozwiązań stosowanych w hafcie krajeńskim w ciągu ostatnich dwudziestu lat.Reconstruction of Folk Embroidery of Crayna - Past Researches, the Origin, and the Pattern The article contains reconstruction do not recognized by ethnographers Craynian embroidery from locality of Złotów. The first three parts of the article have an ethnographic character, and the last one is anthropological part Dorota Angutek puts thesis that Craynian embroidery is derived of Kashubian one worked out by Teodora Gulgowska, although its designer is unknown until now. In the first part the author presents ethnographic and amateurish works which has been done until now for reconstruction of folk embroidery of Crayna; she invents types of them. Contemporary Craynian embroidery which was transferred on others areas of Crayna - administrative districts of Piła, Nakło and Sępólno is a phenomenon not attended on this part of region of Crayna before, and it is so called invented tradition. The second part of the article indicates historical and formal connections between Kashubian and Craynian embroidery, and contains presentation and interpretation of attainable exhibits museums of Pomerania in the first half of XX century. The last part of the work makes description of formal features of this embroidery beginning from themes, by compositions to stitches, and moreover it includes not canonic solutions put in practice of Craynian embroidering during last twenty years.

Opis:: The article takes the attempt to answer to the question about the condition of the quality of natural environment in Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship with regard to an average level of chosen variables characterizing this environment in 2006. For the analysis were chosen variables describing air, water and soils pollution. Besides, it has taken two variables into considerations which inform properly about: carried expenditures for environmental protection and particular natural values of researched area. As the investigate instrument was used the multiple correspondence analysis based on indicator matrix and Ward method.

Opis:: W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono stan badań nad dziejami ruchu sportowego w województwie częstochowskim w latach 1975–1998. Omówione opracowania monograficzne, rozprawy i artykuły, które publikowano w pracach zbiorowych, ukazywały historię sportu na terenie województwa częstochowskiego. Publikacje te, powstałe dzięki historykom kultury fizycznej, najczęściej dotyczyły genezy i działalności Akademickiego Związku Sportowego, Szkolnego Związku Sportowego, Towarzystwa Gimnastycznego „Sokół”, jak również klubów sportowych. Były to opracowania w większości dotyczące dziejów organizacji i towarzystw sportowych oraz społecznych z terenu Częstochowy.
This article presents the state of research on the history of sports movement in the province of częstochowskie in years 1975–1998. Monographs, dissertations and articles included, which were published in joint publications, presented the history of sport on the territory of the province of częstochowskie. The publications, made owing to the historians of physical education, most often concerned the origin and activity of Students’ Sports Association, School Sports Association, Gymnastic Association “Sokół”, as well as of sports clubs. They were mostly studies on the history of sports and social organizations and associations on the territory of Częstochowa.

Opis:: The meeting of Polish, Czech and Slovakian historians in Cracow is an important step in executing the agreement in establishing their trilateral cooperation. The agreement was signed in 2009 by the presidents of Polish Historical Society (Polskie Towarzystwo Historyczne) and Association of Historians of the Czech Republic (Sdružení historiků České republiky) (Historický klub 1872). The cycle of conferences that take place in Poland and Czech Republic alternately opens and provides a new forum for vivid scientific cooperation and exchange between Polish, Czech and Slovakian historians. Indeed, the title of the conference, An Opening Balance, is meaningful. The Polish-Czech Commission of Historical Sciences was cancelled a few years ago. Thus the new meeting cycle that provides frameworks for dialogue and cooperation is particularly challenging and interesting for the researchers working on the nineteenth century history. The state of research on Polish-Czech relations in the above mentioned period was reviewed in several papers by Vladislav Šťastný, Jaroslav Horejsek, Jaroslav Valenta, Janusz Gruchała, Jerzy Kozeński, Andrzej Essen, Piotr Maciej Majewski, Grażyna Pańko and Roman Baron. Decreasing scientific interest of Polish and Czech historiography in bilateral relations in the nineteenth century was depicted in the papers presented during the ninth Convention of Czech Historians (Pardubice 2006) and the First Congress for Foreign Scholars of Polish History (Cracow 2007). Also the content of Czech lexicon by Jaroslav Pánek, Svatava Raková and Václava Horčáková entitled Scholars of Bohemian, Czech and Czechoslovak History Studies, vol. I-III, Prague 2005 shows that the above mentioned issues are underrepresented. Among Polish historians i.e. Stanisław Pijaj, Waldemar Łazuga, Witold Molik and Maciej Górny are working on the nineteenth century Polish-Czech relations. The situations seems to be better in Czech Republic, where also monographs presenting Polish lands during the partitions are being published. Research works of Miloš Řezník, Jiří Vykoukal and Jan Křen deserve special attention. Among research proposals we may list following issues: relations between the Czech lands and Great Poland, Little Poland or Galicia within the framework of Habsburg Monarchy, relations between Warsaw positivist and Czech intellectual circles, Czech-Polish relations in the region of Teschen Silesia, Polish-Czech scientific contacts and so on. Facing all the above mentioned problems we should not expect a modern synthesis of Polish-Czech relations in the nineteenth century to be published in the near future.

Opis:: In the sanctuary dedicated to the patriarchs in Hebron, according to tradition, there are graves of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and their wives, Sarah, Rebekah and Leah. The roots of this tradition go back to the Book of Genesis, however, today there are some people who call into question the credibility of this message. On the grounds of analysis of the text describing the circumstances of Jacob’s death, some state that actually his grave has a diff erent location. Others, in turn, will point out that the story of Abraham purchasing a fi eld with the cave of Machpelah for the grave of Sarah (cf. Gen 23) is a very late tradition, which was attached to the pre-existing text. Therefore, in this article, we will analyze existing studies referring to the issue of the patriarchs’ death and its accom-panying events (funeral, mourning, grave) in order to check how they discuss it and to what extent they approach this practice globally.

Opis:: Brytyjskie spektakle historyczne (pageants) były niezwykle popularne w okresie 1905–1939. Pomimo zaangażowania w nich milionów Brytyjczyków, zarówno jako wykonawców, jak i jako publiczności, dopiero od lat 90. XX wieku stały się tematem badań. Idea, organizacja i odbiór społeczny przyciągały uwagę badaczy. Tematem artykułu są wybrane problemy badawcze: czy pageant był wynalazkiem Louisa N. Parkera, jaką rolę odgrywały te spektakle w życiu lokalnej społeczności, a wreszcie czy te przedsięwzięcia spajały społeczeństwo czy może wywoływały animozje społeczne. Omówiono też bazę danych (The Redress of the Past: Historical Pageants in Britain) zawierającą kilkaset pageantów oraz perspektywy badawcze wynikające z jej wykorzystania.
British historical pageants were extremely popular during the period 1905–1939. Despite the involvement of millions of British people as performers and audiences, it was not until the 1990s that they became the subject of research. The idea, organization and public perception attracted the attention of researchers. The subject of the article are selected research problems: Was the pageant an invention of Louis N. Parker? What role did these performances play in the life of the local community? Did these undertakings finally hold society together, or perhaps they caused social animosities? The database (The Redress of the Past: Historical Pageants in Britain) containing several hundred pageants and research perspectives resulting from its use is also discussed.

Parasitized people were 20 to 69 years old, eventhough, there are not studies in children. These autopsy cases with trichineuosis were asymptomatic and dead because other diseases. The higher parasitosis were of 117 larvae per gram of muscle. Infection in pigs is very rare; on the other hand trichinellosis was found in 25% of cats and 2% of rats. A study on preservatives for parasitized muscles, showed that 50% ethanolamine preserve samples for diagnosis for one year.
