- Changes in pension system created possibility, that the consumers can decide about their additional savings on future pension. Companies that run IKE use different kinds of financial institutions to increase collected funds. On the basis of specialist literature in this article financial system, its sectors and financial instruments were presented. Changes in pension system and rules of functioning of Individual Retirement Account (IKE) were also described. There were also efforts to describe decisions and aims of consumer’s activity on IKE market and also level of knowledge and degree of interest of new form security in one’s old age.
