    Opis:
    In spite of the common occurrence of Hippeutis complanatus (L.) in some regions of Poland, it is considered to be a rare species with scattered sites. A study on its life cycle and shell growth in various conditions was possible due to the existence of very abundant populations in several woodland ponds of Silesia. The snails breed twice in a lifetime, and two generations reproduce in one year. The main breeding period is July/August. Some individuals breed also in the spring of the next year. The first appearance of the smallest individuals is clearly related to the water temperature.

    Presented is stationary system for monitoring and diagnostics of rotating machinery developed by P.W.D.T. TECHNICAD Ltd. System is based on TNC2000 subsystem for supervision and machine protection and digital part asmm for on-line machine monitoring and diagnostics. Described is sample konfiguration of an aplication.

    A modern CFD code was used to simulate fluid flow through a pipeline with an orifice. A two-dimensional flow was assumed. The influence of the turbulence model and the size of the numerical grid on the quality of the obtained results was tested. It appears from the performed calculations that the standard Launder-Spalding k-[eta] model yields the best results for two-dimensional flows through pipeline-orifice systems.

    The goal of the proposed computational model was to evaluate the dynamical properties of air gauges in order to exploit them in such industrial applications as in-process control, form deviation measurement, dynamical measurement. The model is based on Reynolds equations complemented by the k-ε turbulence model. The boundary conditions were set in different areas (axis of the chamber, side surfaces, inlet pipeline and outlet cross-section) as Dirichlet's and Neumann's ones. The TDMA method was applied and the efficiency of the calculations was increased due to the "line-by-line" procedure. The proposed model proved to be accurate and useful for non-stationary two-dimensional flow through the air gauge measuring chamber.

    Artykuł stanowi próbę porównania reportażu jako gatunku z pogranicza literatury i publicystyki oraz formy feature ukształtowanej na gruncie amerykańskim w latach międzywojennych. W tekście zawarto ważkie rozważania teoretyczne o wyznacznikach reportażu i feature, a także poetyce noweli jako tertium comparationis. Przywołano przykłady praktycznych realizacji tych form w tekstach współczesnych polskich twórców (Anny Strońskiej, Jagienki Wilczak, Magdaleny Mazur). Artykuł zamyka podkreślenie najistotniejszych różnic pomiędzy reportażem a feature.
    This article attempts to provide a comparison between reportage (the literary and journalistic writing form) and 'feature' (a form moulded in the USA before the Second World War). This work covers the most important theoretical ascertainments about the determinants of reportage and feature, as well as the short story as a tertium comparationis. Practical examples of both forms are given from the output of contemporary Polish writers (Anna Strońska, Jagienka Wilczak, Magdalena Mazur. The article voncludes with the essential differences between these forms.

    This essay presents the activity of the Austrian secret police that led to legal action being taken up in 1859. That year, Václav Hanka sued David Kuh, the founder and editor of the Prague newspaper “Tagesbote aus Böhmen”, for defamation, after the latter published a series of anonymous articles in his paper, accusing Hanka of forging The Queen’s Court Manuscript and The Green Mountain Manuscript. For several decades, both works influenced the shaping of the Czech political nation, and as it later transpired, the Austrian police were behind the attacks on their authenticity. Further piquancy is added by the fact that thirty years later, Hanka was indeed recognised as the author of the aforementioned manuscripts.
    Artykuł prezentuje działania austriackiej tajnej policji, które doprowadziły do tego, że w roku 1859 Václav Hanka pozwał Davida Kuha, wydawcę praskiej gazety „Tagesbote aus Böhmen”, o to, że ten naruszył jego dobre imię, publikując w swojej gazecie serię anonimowych artykułów zarzucających mu, że sfałszował on rękopisy królowodworski i zielonogórski. Oba dzieła przez kilka dziesięcioleci miały wpływ na kształtowanie się ówczesnego politycznego narodu czeskiego, a za tym atakiem na ich prawdziwość, jak się później okazało, stała austriacka policja. Pikanterii sprawie dodaje fakt, że trzydzieści lat później Hanka rzeczywiście został uznany za autora wspomnianych rękopisów.

    In the draft of the Sejm’s position regarding the constitutional complaint concerning the provision of the Tax Ordinance, the author considers the provision which concerns the property liability of a member of the management board for the company’s liabilities towards the state creditor collect‑ ing social insurance contributions to be constitutional, as the provision indicated in the complaint does not disproportionately interfere with the property rights of members of the management board of a limited liability company. The allegation of unconstitutionality, in the view of the author of the position, is based on the erroneous assumption that members of the management board of a company employed under an employment contract and other employees of the company are similar entities, but the rights granted to employees holding the position of members of the man‑ agement board mean that their situation should be unequivocally distinguished from the one of other employees of the company.

    The aim of the paper is to characterise the concept of experiential marketing as an idea constituting the basis for building the strategy of brand communication in social media. The paper presents "genetic code" for building such strategy that was "encrypted" in SMART acronym. The deliberations presented in the paper can contribute to building the model in which it is vital to include social media in the process of creation of experiences and desirable emotions associated with them. The paper is prepared on the basis of review of Polish and foreign literature on the subject, observations of economic practice and selected results of authors own research.
    Celem artykułu jest scharakteryzowanie koncepcji marketingu doświadczeń jako idei stanowiącej podstawę do budowania strategii komunikacji marki w mediach społecznościowych. Przedstawiono „kod genetyczny” dla budowy takiej strategii, który został zaszyfrowany w akronimie SMART. Zaprezentowane w artykule rozważania mogą stanowić przyczynek do budowy modelu, którego istotą byłoby włączenie mediów społecznościowych do procesu kreowania doświadczeń i związanych z nimi pożądanych emocji. Artykuł został opracowany na podstawie przeglądu krajowej i zagranicznej literatury przedmiotu, obserwacji praktyki gospodarczej i wybranych wyników własnych badań.

    The article attempts to provide a contextual interpretation of a few chosen poems written by Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński. The biographical and historical context left an extraordinary imprint on the poet’s work. In his lyrics, along with light-hearted, fairy tale like scenery there appear, in the course of time, increasingly clear and menacing signs of the horrifying reality of war and Nazi occupation. The poet searches for salvation and recovery of the original world of nature. Nevertheless, he ends up being defeated by the terrifying forces of history.

    Customer loyalty programs are increasingly becoming an integral tool of marketing activity of large retail chains and the basis for building their market strategy. Large retail chains recognize that greatest value in loyalty programs is the possibility of improving knowledge about customers and potential impact on their attitudes and buying behavior. The purpose of this article is to present the role of a loyalty program as a tool for marketing communications in the market strategies of large retail chains. This paper presents the thesis that the competitiveness of today's commercial networks' loyalty programs provide a rich spectrum of communication channels and enable participants to communicate with the organizers of the program in a way that best suits them.

    In the article the author emphasizes that a dynamic development of private labels' market of retailers can be crucial for Polish producers building their market position internationally based on their cooperation with retailing chains, whom they offer their own private labels. It was shown that participation as an exhibitor in private labels' trade fair, including the most prestigious one, PLMA (Private Label Manufacturer's Association) "World of Private Label" in Amsterdam is becoming more popular and valued by domestic producers, as it is an instrument which helps them not only to increase the scope of exports and recognition of their products on the foreign markets but also to extend their current cooperation with foreign partners.

    Celem artykułu jest ukazanie z perspektywy producentów marek własnych dla detalistów poziomu ich uzależnienia od dostawców i odbiorców jako źródła ryzyka w kanale marketingowym. Szczególnym obszarem analiz uczyniono identyfikację katalogu rodzajów ryzyka związanych z relacjami z sieciami handlowymi. Artykuł oparty jest na analizie krajowej i zagranicznej literatury odnoszącej się do problematyki ryzyka oraz zarządzania nim, a także problematyki relacji międzyorganizacyjnych. Źródłem materiału empirycznego były sprawozdania finansowe za 2015 r. 20 firm notowanych na GPW w Warszawie.
    The aim of this article is to present the perspective of retailers’ private label manufacturers, and their level of dependence on suppliers and buyers as a source of risk in the marketing channel. Particular attention was drawn to the set of identified risk areas related to relationships with retail chain stores, and the basic sales policies. The article is based on the analysis of domestic and foreign literature related to the issues of risk and management as well as interorganizational relations. The empirical sources were the financial statements of 20 companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange from 2015.

    Artykuł podejmuje próbę kontekstualnej interpretacji wybranych liryków Krzysztofa Kamila Baczyńskiego o zabarwieniu erotycznym. Kontekst biografi czny i historyczny odcisnął niebywałe piętno na dorobku poety. W lirykach erotycznych obok beztroskich, baśniowych scenerii z biegiem czasu pojawiają się coraz wyraźniejsze i groźniejsze symptomy straszliwej rzeczywistości wojny i okupacji. W tych wierszach miłość współistnieje ze śmiercią. Poeta szuka ocalenia i odtworzenia pierwotnego świata natury. Zostaje jednak pokonany przez złowrogie mechanizmy historii.

In this poetry love and death interweave. The poet searches for salvation and recovery of the original world of nature. Nevertheless, he ends up being defeated by the terrifying forces of history.

    Opis:
    In his position, the Sejm requested the Constitutional Tribunal to state that to the extent, in which provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure provide for a three-month period for filing complaint concerning the resumption of proceedings in case the judgment was based on a counterfeit or falsified document, and to the extent that the failure to meet this deadline results in the rejection of the complaint, conform to the Constitution. In the opinion of the Sejm, an allegation of a disproportionately short deadline is unjustified, as the deadline of three months to perform a specific procedural activity is one of the longest ones provided for in the Polish civil procedure and does not differ from the ones provided for in the civil procedural laws of other European countries. The practice of application by common courts of the provision in question also justifies the position indicating conformity to the Constitution.

    Opis:
    According to the author of the proposed Sejm’s draft position the indicated provision, being the subject of the Warsaw District Court’s question of law, conforms to the Constitution. Court referendaries perform tasks related to legal protection, other than in administration of justice. In case of filling a complaint against a court referendary’s decision in enforcement proceedings, the court shall hear the case as a court of second instance, in accordance with the provisions on appeals. The complaint against the decision may be appealed only in cases, in which a court decision may be appealed. Proceeding complaints against bailiff’s activities does not constitute “a case” with the meaning of Article 45 para. 1 of the Constitution. The legal norm, pursuant to which it is not possible to appeal against the court referendary’s decision on the complaint regarding bailiff’s activities, does not infringe the constitutional principle of procedural /justice.

    Opis:
    The article is an attempt to analyse the area of care about the environment as one of the dimensions of CSR used by contemporary retailers in the process of building the image of their private labels. Particular parts of the article are devoted to achieving the goal of the article. First, conditions for the implementation of the CSR concepts in the strategies of development of retailers’ private brands are presented. Next, the tools most often used by contemporary retailers to build an „ecological image” are identified. In the final part of the article chosen examples of the retailers’ involvement in the process of building „social” value of their private labels by using measures in the area of „care for the environment” are presented. The article formulates the thesis that contemporary retailers more and more often recognize the importance of the environmental aspect in the process of building the image of their private labels. The article is based on deepened analysis of Polish and foreign literature on the subject and the analysis of social reports of 10 biggest retail chains in Poland operating on the FMCG market.
    W artykule podjęto próbę analizy obszaru troski o środowisko jako jednego z wymiarów CSR wykorzystywanego przez współczesnych detalistów w procesie kreowania wizerunku ich marek własnych. Realizacji celu artykułu podporządkowane zostały poszczególne jego części. Najpierw zaprezentowano uwarunkowania implementacji koncepcji CSR w strategiach rozwoju marek własnych detalistów, a następnie dokonano identyfikacji najczęściej wykorzystanych narzędzi budowy „ekologicznego wizerunku” przez współczesnych detalistów. W finalnej części artykułu przedstawiono wybrane przykłady zaangażowania detalistów w procesie budowania „społecznej” wartości ich marek własnych przy wykorzystaniu działań w obszarze „troska o środowisko”. W artykule formułowana jest teza, że współcześni detaliści coraz bardziej zauważają znaczenie aspektu środowiskowego w kreowaniu wizerunku swoich marek własnych. Artykuł bazuje na pogłębionych studiach krajowej i zagranicznej literatury przedmiotu oraz na analizie treści raportów społecznych 10 największych sieci handlowych w Polsce funkcjonujących na rynku FMCG.
