    The author presents a selection of feuilletons from the achievements of Stanisław Grędziński - a poet and journalist associated with the group and magazine "Reflektor". Selected columns have not yet been included in the studies and bibliography devoted to the avant-garde of Lublin. They appeared in the pages of "Głos Lubelski". The author thinks that it is worth recalling these columns because they reveal an unknown episode from the history of this branch of Nowa Art, and at the same time shed new light on the achievements of the least known among its representatives.
    Autorka prezentuje wybór felietonów z dorobku Stanisława Grędzińskiego – poety i publicysty związanego z grupą i czasopismem „Reflektor”. Wybrane felietony nie zostały dotąd uwzględnione w opracowaniach i zestawieniach bibliograficznych poświęconych lubelskiej awangardzie. Ukazały się na łamach „Głosu Lubelskiego”. Autorka uważa, że warto przypomnieć owe felietony, ponieważ odsłaniają nieznany epizod z dziejów tego odłamu Nowej Sztuki, a jednocześnie rzucają nowe światło na dorobek najmniej znanego spośród jej przedstawicieli.

    Sermons of Reverend Janusz Stanisław Pasierb have a distinct literary character. This may be due to the fact that the preacher was both a poet and essayist. The first part of the paper contains a methodological reflection on literariness, with particular emphasis on the location of the sermon as a specific genre of expression in relation to other forms of literary expression. In the further part of the text, the style and composition of sermons of Reverend Pasierb and their relationship with the poetry of this author are examined. Also, homilies from the funerals of art people are presented – in these works Pasierb contained a particularly large literary component. Reverend Pasierb is fully aware of what the art of word is, including the preacher’s word. He works towards a greater linguistic reflection, drawing artistic attention to the style of preaching. His preaching, with a metaphysical depth and clearly eschatological perspective, and at the same time adding value to worldliness, often tends to an essay and meditation. We are dealing with the individualization of a preacher’s message and a partial remodelling of a typical preacher’s formula.

    Recreational houses (WH) of a recreational nature may constitute an offer for the development of non-standard forms of recreation proposed by the domestic tourist industry. The paper presents some selected design problems of heating an exemplary WH house. For central heating (central heating) and domestic hot water (domestic hot water), it is proposed to use a compressor heat pump. It works with the central heating installation (water underfloor heating) and hot water, and with a lower source in the form of surface water in the lake. The heat exchanger for the brine is immersed in the lake water. The methodology for calculating the dimensions of the lower heat exchanger was presented. It was proposed that it will be made in the form of two coils made of polyethylene pipes and WH float sides placed on both sides. The design solution presented in the paper meets the conditions for qualifying as using renewable energy sources (RES). It should be noted that covering the demand for electricity for the WH house, including to drive the heat pump motor and for other living purposes in a residential superstructure, is also made using a hybrid system in the form of cooperation between wind turbines and photovoltaic panels. Problems regarding the WH hybrid electricity supply system will be the subject of a separate study.

    Opis:
    The paper concerns the problem of the occurrence of failures of the high-pressure ammonia water pipeline of the coke oven battery complex, which is affected by chemical and thermal factors as well as the operating pressure occurring during its use. Pipeline failures manifested themselves as leaks (leakage of the medium) due to cracks in the area of the pipeline thermal elongation compensators. The conducted tests included, among others: visual inspection, penetration tests, macroscopic and microscopic tests as well as chemical analysis of the material. The study includes microscopic photographs of the material structure and cracks. The results of the pipeline strength and reliability analysis were also presented. On the basis of the conducted research and analyses conclusions were formulated. The assumed cause of the damage was the incorrectly made welded joints. Formulated recommendations and proposals for actions aimed at avoiding further failures of this and similar pipelines were related to the inspection time and preventive renewal.

    The SW margin of the Zavkhan terrane is significant for research on Paleozoic amalgamation of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt (CAOB). The study area is located in the western part of the Khasagt Mountains, western Mongolia. We present a new preliminary K-Ar dating of metasedimentary rocks from the Yargait Formation which were deformed during collision of the Zavkhan terrane with the Lake Zone terrane. Our results include two dating that are similar to earlier data by other authors (Stípskáetal., 2010; Bold et al., 2016b). The first dating equal to 544.1 ±13.7 Ma can be interpreted as the age ofmetamorphism and the subduction of the SW margin ofthe Zavkhan terrane under the Lake Zone terrane during the late Ediacaran-early Cambrian. The second dating of 441.1 ±11.7 Ma indicates the Late Ordovician - Silurian regional extension event.
