Opis:: In this paper a statistical analysis of wind conditions occurring in the Odra estuary has been presented. The measurements of wind directions and velocities from years 1970-1995 for four meteorological stations of IMGW: Świnoujście, Dziwnów, Trzebież and Szczecin-Dąbie have been analysed.

Opis:: 3D models of buildings play an important part in spatial management. There are many sources of spatial data based on which 3D modelling Eis possible, but the selection of the most appropriate source should result from the level of detail of the 3D rendering that we are aiming for, and the intended purpose of using the resulting 3D model. The paper discusses the most important data sources – from the point of view of 3D rendering of buildings in accordance with the CityGML standard – and that includes: airborne and terrestrial laser scanning, aerial and ground photogrammetry, as well as vector data accumulated in the BDOT10k database.
Modele 3D zabudowy odgrywają istotną rolę w gospodarce przestrzennej. Istnieje wiele źródeł danych przestrzennych w oparciu o które możliwe jest modelowanie 3D zabudowy, jednak wybór właściwego źródła powinno wynikać z stopnia szczegółowości modelu 3D jaki chcemy uzyskać, oraz późniejszego celu zastosowania modelu 3D. W pracy omówiono najistotniejsze, z punku widzenia modelowania 3D zabudowy zgodnie ze standardem CityGML, źródła danych do których zaliczono: lotniczy i naziemny skaning laserowy, lotniczą i naziemną fotogrametrię, a także dane wektorowe gromadzone w bazie danych BDOT10k.

Opis:: The aim of this paper is to examine the influence of the ionosphere on the RTK (Real Time Kinematic) GPS accuracy results. Precision of the measurement in the land surveying indicates the correctness of the execution of the task. The value is recognized as correct when the correlations between results of measurement and estimate parameters are compiled. Also assumptions of mean error and correlations between measuring parameters are important. The measurement with using satellite systems, taking into the way which a signal must cross, meaning from the satellite to the receiver, is a technological complicated task. There are many factors affecting the quality of the received signal, which determine the measurement accuracy, and one of them is the ionosphere. The complex physicochemical processes that take place in the ionosphere, have a profound effect on the propagation of electromagnetic waves, and thus they cause an ionospheric delay. A ionospheric delay is a direct cause of the decrease of accuracy of the RTK GPS measurements. The main purpose of this paper was to find the correlation between the activity of the ionosphere, expressed by the index 195, and the season of the year and the time of a day, and therefore to indicate the most beneficial time to carry out the measurement with the use of RTK GPS technique.
Artykuł przedstawia wyniki badań wpływu stanu jonosfery na dokładność pomiarów RTK GPS. Dokładność pomiaru, w pracach geodezyjnych, świadczy o poprawności wykonania danego zadania. Pomiar z wykorzystaniem systemów satelitarnych - biorąc pod uwagę drogę, jaką musi przejść sygnał od satelity do odbiornika - jest niezwykle trudny pod względem technologicznym. Istnieje wiele czynników wpływających na jakość sygnału odbieranego, warunkujących dokładność pomiaru. Jednym z tych czynników, omawianych w niniejszej pracy, jest jonosfera. Zachodzące w niej złożone procesy fizykochemiczne istotnie wpływają na propagację fal elektromagnetycznych, powodując opóźnienie jonosferyczne będące bezpośrednią przyczyną zmniejszenia dokładności pomiaru RTK GPS. Celem autorki było znalezienie zależności między aktywnością jonosfery wyrażaną wartością indeksu 195 a porą dnia oraz porą roku. Zależność ta wskazuje czas najkorzystniejszy dla przeprowadzenia pomiaru techniką RTK GPS.

Opis:: Spatial planning is a vital aspect of social and economic development of a country. Spatial planning in Poland is regulated by the Spatial Planning and Development Act of 27 March 2003 and should be implemented in conformity with the EU Directive Establishing an Infrastructure for Spatial Information in the European Community (INSPIRE). In the study an assessment of the spatial planning system in Poland in the light of existing legislation has been carried out, and a SWOT analysis has been performed, showing the planning’ strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and the most immediate needs to be met – in the context of amendments currently being drafted – have been indicated.
Planowanie przestrzenne jako część strategii rozwoju kraju stanowi istotne zagadnienie w kontekście rozwoju społeczno - gospodarczego państwa. W Polsce regulowane jest przez Ustawę z dnia 27 marca 2003 o planowania i zagospodarowaniu przestrzennym, a także zgodnie z przyjętą przez Polskę dyrektywą ustanawiająca infrastrukturę informacji przestrzennej we Wspólnocie Europejskiej (INSPIRE) powinno uwzględniać jej założenia. W pracy przeprowadzono ocenę systemu planowania przestrzennego w Polsce w myśl obowiązujących aktów prawnych, przeprowadzono analizę SWOT wskazując jego mocne i słabe strony, szanse i zagrożenia, a także wskazano najpilniejsze potrzeby w zakresie zmian, nawiązując do prowadzonych prac nowelizacyjnych Ustawy.

Opis:: Discrimination of just noticeable change in pitch has been widely investigated. In contrast, works on discrimination of two simultaneous pitches produced by two tones have been scarce. In this work two methods were used to find the minimum frequency interval in a two-tone at which listeners perceive two distinct pitches. In the first, listeners tuned manually the frequency interval between components in a two-tone. In the second, the frequency interval between tones in a two-tone was switched between five different fixed values, and a pitch of a probe tone was compared with pitches in a two-tone. Both methods were used in two different groups of listeners, musicians and non-musicians. The first method yielded substantially narrower intervals. Both methods revealed that musicians were able to discriminate pitches at narrower intervals than non-musicians. The raw results of tests were evaluated by two approaches, one was based on fitting of the psychometric function and the other on statistical tests.

Opis:: Previous papers showed that the model of stratified flow, which was originally invented by Meyer, could be applied to describe changes of river bottom. Enabling the selection of circulation areas, this model allows the including of dead zones in flow patterns, which occur in the river bottom cavern. The intensity of sediment transport and analysis of changes of the river bottom cavern was specified on the basis of Ackers-White's known method.
