It has been demonstrated that variable-magnetic-field Hall measurements for n-Hg$\text{}_{1-x}$Cd$\text{}_{x}$Te samples in the extrinsic and intrinsic conductivity regions permit to identify and to evaluate semiqualitatively electrical activity of extended defects in this material.

Opis:
On the example of the PbTe and Pb$\text{}_{0.77}$Sn$\text{}_{0.23}$Te on BaF$\text{}_{2}$ the possibility of using the weak magnetic field resistance technique for the evaluation of mismatch-thermally induced strains in semiconductors with multivalley band structure is discussed.

We study the bound state solutions of the Klein-Gordon equation with Woods-Saxon plus attractive inversely quadratic potential using the parametric Nikiforov-Uvarov Method. We obtained the bound state energy eigenvalues and the corresponding normalized eigen functions expressed in terms of hypergeometric functions. Two special cases of this potential are discussed.

Polarization-dependent X-ray absorption spectroscopy was used to study the local microstructure of Ge layers buried in silicon. The layers with thickness from 6 to 20 monolayers of Ge were grown by molecular beam epitaxy on Si substrate and were covered by Si (20 nm). To investigate the morphology of grown structures, X-ray absorption near edge structure and extended X-ray absorption fine structure analysis of the Ge K-edge was done. The performed qualitative analysis proves that X-ray absorption spectra are very sensitive to the local order in the formed structures and are sources of unique information about morphology of the buried Ge layers. Using these techniques we were able to observe the changes in atomic order around the Ge atoms in investigated buried layers and compare the formed atomic order with that in crystalline Ge. A substantial increase in intensity, broadening and chemical shift of the X-ray absorption near edge structure spectrum for 8 ML were observed. It can be related to the increase in density of electron states caused by increase in the localization of the states due to potential appearing at the Ge island boundaries and indicated the formation of quantum dots. The observed in-plane modulations of radial distribution and out-of-plane for different layers were discussed.

The solutions of the Schrӧdinger equation with Manning-Rosen plus a class of Yukawa potential (MRCYP) have been presented using the Pekeris-like approximation and parametric Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method. The bound state energy eigenvalues and the corresponding un-normalized eigen functions are obtained in terms of Jacobi polynomials. Also, inversely quadratic Yukawa, Yukawa, Manning-Rosen and coulomb potentials have been recovered from the mixed potential and their Eigen values obtained. The Numerical results are computed for some values of n at l = 0 with α = 0.01, 0.1, 2 and 5 using python 3.6 programming, and these results could be applied to molecules moving under the influence of MRYP potential as negative energy eigenvalues obtained indicate a bound state system.

Opis:
Soft magnetic multicomponent Co-Fe-Ni-Si-B thin films have been grown by pulsed laser deposition onto single-crystal sapphire and silicon substrates. The static hysteresis measurements for different substrate temperatures are presented. Thin films with a coercive force smaller than 1 Oe were grown at substrate temperatures from 250°C to 350°C. X-ray diffraction measurements proved that the structure of films is amorphous. The surface morphology of grown thin films was observed by scanning electron microscopy. The chemical composition of deposited films corresponds to the composition of bulk alloy.
