świadomość - Opis:
- Adam Myjak has devoted nearly 50 years of his life to creative work. At the age of 30 he became a critically acclaimed sculptor in Poland. Today he is a classic of Polish contemporary sculpture. He runs a graduating studio at the Faculty of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He has already been elected its Rector three times. He has built a huge oeuvre, consisting of objects of autonomous artistic expression (for interiors and open-air) and monuments, architectural, outdoor, medal-making and even stage design projects (on some specific theme). On the one hand, his art is based on the conditions of existential agoraphobia – fear of what the world and history bring, which is connected with the fearful hiding characters in themselves, escapism into dreams and unconsciousness; on the other hand, recently it has been an experience of opening to space.
