Opis:
Under the new normal of China’s economy, the competition among the port enterprises is not only the competition of the core competence of the port, the port industry chain or the port supply chain, but also the competition of the port service ecosystem. In this paper, the concept and characteristics of the port service ecosystem is discussed, a hierarchical model of the port service ecosystem is constructed. As an extended logistic model, Lotka-Volterra model is applied to study the competitive co-evolution and mutually beneficial co-evolution of enterprises in the port service ecosystem. This paper simulates the co-evolution of enterprises in the port service ecosystem by using MATLAB programming. The simulation results show that the breadth of the niche of the enterprises is changing with the change of the competition coefficient and the coefficient of mutual benefit in the port service ecosystem. Based on that, some proposals are put forward to ensure the healthy and orderly development of the port service ecosystem.

Opis:
In a discrete Lotka-Volterra model, the set of points where a population remains unchanged over one generation is a hyperplane. Examining the relative position of these hyperplanes, we give sufficient conditions for a groupof species to drive another species to extinction. Further using these hyperplanes, we find necessary and sufficient conditions where every w-limit point of the model has at least one species missing. Building on the workof Hofbauer et al. (1987) involving permanence, we obtain a sufficient condition for one or more species to persist. Additionally, in the presence of extinction occurring, we take these persistence results and the previously mentioned extinction results and extend them to subsystems of the full model. Finally, we combine the ideas of persistence and weak extinctionto obtain another extinction result.

Opis:
This paper deals with a possible approach to controlling marine fish stocks using the prey‐predator model described by the Lotka‐Volterra equations. The control strategy is conceived using the sliding mode control (SMC) approach which, based on the Lyapunov theorem, offers the possibility to track desired functions, thus guaranteeing the stability of the controlled system. One of the most important aspects of this model is the identification of some parameters which characterizes the model. In this work two cascaded and Extended Kalman Filters (EKFs) are proposed to estimate them in order to be utilized in SMC. This approach can be used for sustainable management of marine fish stocks: through the developed algorithm, the appropriate number of active fishermen and the suitable period for fishing can be determined. Computer simulations validate the proposed approach.

Opis:
In this paper, a two-species Lotka-Volterra predator-prey model with two delays is considered. By analyzing the associated characteristic transcendental equation, the linear stability of the positive equilibrium is investigated and Hopf bifurcation is demonstrated. Some explicit formulae for determining the stability and direction of Hopf bifurcation periodic solutions bifurcating from Hopf bifurcations are obtained by using normal form theory and center manifold theory. Some numerical simulations for supporting the theoretical results are also included.
