Opis:
The aims of the study were to determine the effect of temperatures and precipitation on the ring width and to compare the results with the results of previous studies conducted in other mountain ranges of the Czech Republic. The research was performed in the central part of the Ceskomoravská Upland in the vicinity of Herálec municipality in selected 70- up to 110-year-old spruce stands at altitudes from 680ma.s.l. to 779 m a.s.l. Measuring of tree-ring widths and synchronization of individual ring series were conducted in PAST4. The age trend was removed by ARSTAN and climatic effects were modelled in DendroClim2002. The correlation of tree-ring width with monthly precipitation is positive and statistically significant for July of the previous year and for the entire summer period from June to September of the current year. The correlation of tree-ring width with mean monthly temperatures is negative and statistically significant for July and September and positive and statistically significant for October of the previous year. Negative correlation was also found for temperatures of the entire summer period from June to September of the previous year. The regional tree-ring chronology mainly shows two periods of highly reduced increment: from 1992 to 1996 and from 2003 to the end of the analysed period. The results thus confirm the hypothesis that the tree-ring width is in positive correlation with summer precipitation and negative correlation with summer temperatures. Also the results of the habitual diagnostics have shown a relatively low degree of crown transformation which indicates a weak or short-term stress load.

Opis:
Climatic parameters are the main environmental factors affecting tree growth. The main aim of the presented study was to determine whether different oak species growing under contrasting environmental conditions show different sensitivity to climatic parameters. Four oak stands with Quercus robur, Quercus petraea, Quercus polycarpa and Quercus dalechampii growing in the same area were evaluated. Standard dendrochronological methods were used for sample preparation, ring width measurements, cross-dating, chronology development, and the assessment of growth-climate response patterns. Although the species grew under different environmental conditions, their local tree-ring chronologies are highly correlated. The radial growth responses to climatic parameters differ slightly, but the response depends more on local site conditions than on the oak species. At the same time, the strongest correlations between radial growth and climatic parameters were identical among species and sites. The amount of water available in the soil was the main climate-dependent factor limiting radial growth. Approximately since the 1990s, the distribution of rainfalls within the growing season has changed at the expense of spring precipitation. The significance of relative soil moisture content during spring for oak growth increased and the significance of summer values decreased.

Opis:
Themicropalaeontology of the "Raibl Beds" of the Košuta Nappe in the western KaravankeMts., Slovenia, is described. The presence of the conodont apparatus of Nicoraella? budaensis Kozur and Mock is demonstrated and together with other fossils it confirms a Carnian age. A comparison of the Nicoraella skeletal apparatus with two other Triassic apparatuses is made. The benthic foraminifera Aulotortus sinuosus, A. tumidus, Prorakusia salaji, Pilamminella kuthani and Endothyra kuepperi are recognized. Their stratigraphical range corresponds to the foraminiferal Pilamminella kuthani Interval-Zone. Altogether the palaeontological content of an 85 m-thick section in the upper part of the "Raibl Beds" below Mt. Jepca is described. The diverse fossil content of this section contributes to the intercalibration of Upper Triassic conodont, foraminifer and dasyclad zonations.

Opis:
New palaeontological and sedimentological data from the Lower Triassic strata of the eastern Julian Alps in Slovenia are presented., They are unusual for the Early Triassic of the Alps in representing a relatively deeper, unrestricted marine (mid-ramp) setting. There are two basic microfacies types in the section investigated (types A and B), which are organized as couplets with coarse-grained tempestitic deposits (microfacies A), overlain by laminated or bioturbated lime mudstones and/or marls (microfacies B), frequently containing ammonoids. This pattern is interpreted as storm deposition with occasional winnowing of bottom sediments and the formation of coarse-grained skeletal deposits (lags), followed by the slow settling of suspended particles, when the storm waned, in addition to background deposition. Dominantly lime mud deposition and the presence of ammonoids indicate deposition on a more distal, deeper ramp with an unrestricted connection to the open sea. Intense reworking of bottom skeletal-rich sediment and accumulation of storm lags suggest deposition above the storm wave base, possibly in a wide low-energy mid-ramp environment. Faunas from such settings have been reported relatively rarely from the Early Triassic of the Alps. The macrofauna contains ammonoids, bivalves and gastropods, whereas the microfauna is represented by foraminifer tests and conodont elements; rare fish remains also occur. In the foraminifer assemblages, species of Ammodiscus, Hoyenella, Glomospirella dominated, corresponding to the widespread “Glomospira-Glomospirella” foraminifer community, with some miliolids and nodosariids. The conodont fauna is characterized by Triassospathodus hungaricus (Kozur et Mostler), indicating an early Spathian (Olenekian) age. The fossil assemblage highlights the wide distribution of Early Triassic taxa in the Tethys and facilitates its worldwide correlation. Its relatively low diversity by comparison with shallow marine settings is interpreted as an evolutionary proximal-distal trend in the wake of the end-Permian mass extinction. Re-diversification first occurred in nearshore settings and expanded into deeper/distal marine environments through geological time.

Opis:
The work includes the issue of ECO-LABEL AWARD impact on consumer choices in Germany and Poland. It contains both the story of the founding ecolabelling and its functions. In the next part of the work it was contracted an issue of organic product. A very important and more widespread phenomenon, is the phenomenon of greenwashing, which is falsely use of environmental labels to increase sale. Fight or reduce this phenomenon is related to the criteria of giving eco-labels, which are described later in this work. The rest of the work is linked to survey research. Research related to the knowledge of environmental labels have been carried out in the first quarter of this year among to the students of the University of Zielona Góra and Christian-Albrechts University in Kiel. This survey concerned not only the knowledge of eco-labels but also the amount of money that are spent on shopping. The results found, that Polish students attach a lesser role in shopping elections to the environmental issue than German students.
