We report on magnetization and magnetic hysteresis measurements for the (Tl$\text{}_{0.6}$Bi$\text{}_{0.5}$)(Sr$\text{}_{0.9}$Ba$\text{}_{0.1}$)$\text{}_{2}$Ca$\text{}_{2}$Cu$\text{}_{3}$O$\text{}_{y}$ Ag-sheathed superconducting tape as well as for the powdered and bulk (Tl$\text{}_{0.6}$Pb$\text{}_{0.5}$)(Sr$\text{}_{0.9}$Ba$\text{}_{0.1}$)$\text{}_{2}$Ca$\text{}_{2}$Cu$\text{}_{3}$O$\text{}_{y}$ superconductors. For the investigated tape and bulk specimens the low field magnetization showed a deviation from the ideal linear M(H) dependence, which was attributed to the superposition of inter- and intragrain superconducting currents. Fitting of the theoretical magnetization curves to the experimental data allowed for the independent determination of the intragrain critical current densities for the superconducting grains and intergrain critical current densities for the weak link system at 77K.

The penetration depths of bulk $Tl_2Ba_2Ca_2Cu_3O_y$ and $Tl_{0.58}Pb_{0.4}Sr_{1.6}Ba_{0.4}Ca_2Cu_3O_y$ superconductors with the critical temperatures 112 K and 114 K, respectively, were determined from the AC susceptibility measurements. When the samples are in the Meissner state, the dispersive components of AC susceptibility as well as their temperature dependences reflect the changes of the penetration depths at various temperatures. In these bulk ceramic superconductors the penetration depths are of the order of few μm and they are comparable to the grains sizes in the ceramics.

X-ray photoemission spectra the core-levels as well as the X-ray photoemission spectra and ultraviolet photoemission spectra from the valence bands of the (Tl$\text{}_{0.6}$Pb$\text{}_{0.5}$)(Sr$\text{}_{0.9}$Ba$\text{}_{0.1}$) Ca$\text{}_{2}$Cu$\text{}_{3}$O$\text{}_{y}$ and (Bi$\text{}_{1.75}$Pb$\text{}_{0.35}$)Sr$\text{}_{1.9}$Ca$\text{}_{2.05}$Cu$\text{}_{3.05}$O$\text{}_{y}$ superconductors were measured and analyzed. Special attention was paid to the valence band X-ray photoemission spectra and ultraviolet photoemission spectra, the Cu 2p core-level X-ray photoemission spectra and the Cu L$\text{}_{2,3}$-M$\text{}_{4,5}$M$\text{}_{4,5}$ and O K-L$\text{}_{2,3}$L$\text{}_{2,3}$ Auger spectra. Both Cu 2p$\text{}_{3}\text{}_{/}\text{}_{2}$ and Cu 2p$\text{}_{1}\text{}_{/}\text{}_{2}$ core-level lines consisted of two spin-orbit split main lines accompanied with the two satellite lines. The charge transfer energy Δ from the oxygen ligand to the copper 3d$\text{}^{9}$ states and the hopping integral t were estimated from the energy separation between the main line and the satellite line taking advantage of the local cluster model calculations and their extension to high-temperature superconductors. The Coulomb correlation on-site energy U$\text{}_{dd}$ of two electrons in the same copper orbital and U$\text{}_{pp}$ of two electrons in the oxygen orbital as well as the correlation energy U$\text{}_{cd}$ of the 2p core hole - 3d electron interaction have been estimated from the Auger electron spectra and the valence band spectra. They are: U$\text{}_{dd}$=6.0±0.5eV, of U$\text{}_{pp}$≅ 10±1eV and of U$\text{}_{cd}$≅ 8.0±0.5eV nearly the same for both the Tl- and Bi-compounds. We conclude that these compounds are the charge transfer strongly-correlated metals.

Opis:
In this work a modular intelligent fixture system for flexible clamping of large parts is presented. The fixture modules consist of a hybrid material structure involving metal frame elements and mineral casting. These modules can be combined and connected to realize fixtures adapted to the geometry of the workpiece and requirements of the machining processes. By integrated pipes and interfaces, an internal hydraulic supply and active cooling is possible even for combined modules. Temperature and acceleration sensors allow for an active thermal control and process monitoring. The modules and first test fixtures are investigated in experiments.

The spin resonance of excess electrons is observed with the detection either on the neutral or the negatively charged exciton X$\text{}^{-}$ emission in type I CdTe/(Cd,Mg)Te quantum wells with excess electrons of low density. It is found that the electron spin-dependent and electron spin-conserving formation and recombination of X$\text{}^{-}$ make the optical detection of the spin resonance of excess electrons feasible. For the first time, optically detected magnetic resonance is used to study fast optical transition processes in the nanosecond timescale where the microwave-induced magnetic transition rate is much lower than the optical transition rate.

Wychodząc od zdeterminowanych medium przeobrażeń tematów średniowiecznych w adaptacjach operowych na poziomie tekstu, muzyki i treści autor artykułu dokonuje - w odniesieniu do wieku XIX i XX - przeglądu oper, w których polscy kompozytorzy podejmują tematy z okresu średniowiecza. Druga część artykułu podejmuje analizę recepcji motywu Króla Artura w operze radiowej G. Bacewicz i w muzyce teatralnej Z. Krauze. Oboje kompozytorzy wywodzą się z innych tradycji muzycznych i różnie odnoszą się do tematu. W operze G. Bacewicz można odnaleźć wskazówki na poziomie treści odnoszące się do adaptacji materiału w formie komedii. Natomiast w muzyce teatralnej Krauzego do sztuki Merlin Tankreda Dorsta chodzi o nakreślenie charakterów postaci.
Based on some thoughts to the medial changes of a medieval subjects in an opera regard to textual, musical and content aspects, this paper gives an overview of operas in which Polish composers of the 19th and 20th centuries shape figures and themes from the Middle Ages.The second part of the paper summaries the reception of the Arthurian theme in the radio opera by G. Bacewicz and the theatre music by Z. Krauze. Both composers belong to different musical traditions and process the subjects differently. For the opera by Bacewicz are given some remarks to references to the content that describe the transformation of the subject into a comedy. In the theatre music to “Merlin” by Krauze, the paper focuses in the drawing of the figure in text by T. Dorst.
Ausgehend von Überlegungen zu den medial bedingten Veränderungen eines mittelalterlichen Stoffes bei einer Opernbearbeitung hinsichtlich textlicher, musikalischer und inhaltlicher Aspekte wird eine Übersicht von Opern gegeben, in denen polnische Komponisten des 19. und 20. Jahrhunderts sich mit Figuren und Themen aus dem Mittelalter beschäftigten.Im zweiten Teil des Artikels wird die Rezeption des Artus-Stoffes in der Radiooper von G. Bacewicz und der Theatermusik von Z. Krauze skizziert. Beide Komponisten stehen in unterschiedlichen musikalischen Traditionen und verarbeiten den Stoff verschieden. Für die Oper von Bacewicz werden inhaltliche Hinweise gegeben, die die Verwandlung des Stoffes in eine Komödie beschrieben. Bei der Theatermusik zu „Merlin“ von Krauze konzentriert sich die Darstellung auf die Figurenzeichnung hinsichtlich des Textes von T. Dorst.
