Badania i koncepcje przedstawione w artykule identyfikują zjawiska złego oświetlenia, a następnie - na trzech poziomach szczegółowości: całego miasta, kluczowych typów przestrzeni publicznych oraz szczegółów projektowania architektonicznego i technicznego - prezentują metody poprawy. Autorzy wychodzą z inicjatywą tworzenia planów oświetleniowych, które powinny stać się ważnym narzędziem planowania miejscowego i strategicznego. Umożliwi to koordynację transformacji energetycznej, obniży emisyjności układów przestrzennych i podniesie walory estetyczne przestrzeni.
There is a lack of urban planning documents defining a coherent lighting strategy for the city. Finding a way to reduce light chaos is crucial for the city's further proper development and ensuring a good quality of life for its residents. The research and concepts presented in the article identify the aspects of poor lighting and then, at three levels of detail: the entire city, key types of public spaces, and urban and technical design details, present methods for improvement. The authors propose the creation of lighting masterplans, which should become important tools for local and strategic planning. This will enable the coordination of energy transformation, reduce the emissions of spatial systems, and enhance the aesthetic qualities of the spaces.

The article presents a comparison of the results of simulation by a photovoltaic installation with bifacial modules. The analyzed 20 kWp PV installation was located in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. The article compares how the energy production of installations with bifacial modules changes depending on the angle of inclination, the distance between the rows of modules and the orientation. The results obtained in the study indicate that albedo is an important, but not the only parameter to be considered when designing a farm with bifacial modules.

Opis:
Nowadays Life Cycle Assessment is the most popular tool that can be used to see environmental load of a machine, a product or a process. LCA defines the impact throughout the life of a product, from the extraction or production of raw material from natural resources, through production, use and final disposal. This method focuses on the assessment of the impact of the tested object on the area of the ecosystem, human health and the resources use. LCA is a very helpful tool in the environmental assessment that is required and results from the current policy of the European Union, which requires the member states to minimize the harmful impact on the environment of every aspect of human life. The publication discusses the LCA life cycle assessment method as one of the methods allowing to estimate the environmental impact of a technological process or some product. The article shows also the history of LCA, the individual stages, advantages and disadvantage this method. This paper it is also an introduction to carry out LCA analysis on the example of a process with the use of the shrink film.

In the paper an economic, ecological and energy analysis of a home photovoltaic on grid installation was presented. The increase in ecological awareness of the Polish society contributes to the continuous growth of interest in green energy. However, many people haven’t been aware of the ecological, economic and energy benefits of photovoltaic installations yet, so the following analysis is made. The analysis concerns a photovoltaic installation with a capacity of 3.96 kWp located in Ościęciny near Włocławek. The photovoltaic installation consists of 11 monocrystalline panels with a power of 360 Wp, a 4 KTLM Sofar Solar inverter and other necessary components. The first part presents basic issues related to photovoltaic installations. Parameters related to the proper functioning of the photovoltaic installation were replaced. The analysis of the literature will help to understand the essence of the proper functioning of the photovoltaic installation. In the practical part, an analysis of a selected home photovoltaic installation was carried out. Based on the available data, it has been calculated that the installation will have a payback period of over 9 years. The photovoltaic installation will produce approximately 3 582.61 kWh of electricity and will contribute to the reduction of 70 tons of carbon dioxide during the entire operation.

Recently, there has been a large development of photovoltaics in Poland and in the world. This work shows how the energy profit of a high-power photovoltaic farm changes with the change of the angle of inclination of the panels on the example of a PV power plant project in the Siemiatycze districtin the Podlaskie Voivodeship. In order to verify the energy gain, measurements were made in the PVSyst program for panels with a power of 600 Wp, the spacing of 10 m or 6 m for angles from 20° to 25°. Based on the analysis, the results were obtained, which indicate that with an increase in the angle of inclination in the studied range of angles, the annual production of energy by power plants increases. The difference between the production for the angle of 20° and the angle of 25° is 1010 MWh, which means profits higher by almost 1% per year. on the basis of the selected row spacing and angle, an analysis was carried out, which shows that the average amount of energy generated in a 140 MW installation will be approximately 149 246 MWh. The article also contains an analysis of losses which are generated during the work of PV panels.

With the IMPACT WORLD+ life cycle impact assessment methodology, the impact of a facility's life can be analysed. All midpoint scores are expressed in units of substance and refer to twenty-one damage categories. The distinctive feature of this method is its regionalized nature covering the whole world, which distinguishes it from other methods that deal with selected geographical regions. The IMPACT WOLRD+ method, like other methods, emphasises which factors have a high impact on human health and which factors have a negligible share. The new method also introduced new indicators that were not included in other methods.

The article examines selected phenomena of the so-called krautrock, i.e. West German rock music of the late 1960s and the 1970s. The analysis is based on Mark Fisher's concept of acid communism and the related issue of collective subjectivity. The author distinguishes two opposing tendencies in the music discussed, the first one being the fascination with the collective that goes back to the student protests of 1967–1968, and the second one being the (re)appreciation of individual perspective, which manifested itself e.g. in an increased interest in spirituality and a certain kind of social criticism performed from a distanced position. Focusing on the relationship between the individual and the group, the article analyzes a number of songs and albums that have received little or no attention from researchers up to now.

The Morasko Meteorite nature reserve is located in Morasko, on the northern edge of the city of Poznań, Poland. In this area the biggest known in Central Europe iron meteorite fall occurred. New mineral phases Moraskoite Na2Mg(PO4)F and Czochralskiite Na4Ca3Mg(PO4)4 have been discovered in the Morasko Meteorite. Both are phosphates, which exist as a parts of nodules – oval inclusions which occur in some iron meteorites, including the Morasko Meteorite. This paper describes the results of our investigation on nodules separated from the Morasko meteorite. Among others, the silicates in form of pyroxene from clinoenstatite group and olivines from forsterite group were found. The presence of phosphates in the form of merrillites was confirmed by electron microprobe analyser. In the metallic parts, on contact between kamacite and taenite crystals, rims (lammelas) composed of tetrataenite were detected. This phase is known to have hard-magnetic properties and could be used as cheaper equivalent for commonly used compounds based on rare earth elements for permanent magnets production.

Research background: Recent decades may undoubtedly be deemed as a period of exceptional transformation on a global scale. One element of this transformation is the reorganisation of traditional ways of business management (on all ontological levels). As a result, agile approach is increasingly often considered one of the key aspects of building the competitive advantage of a company. In this paper, agile approach is understood as the businesses' capability of responding promptly to market needs. Purpose of the article: The aim of this paper is to present the research results on the use of agile approach in chosen organizations. More specifically, the main purpose of this article is to describe how organizations are transformed with use of the agile approach. Methods: In accordance with the goal of the article, the organizations selected for empirical research are characterized by revenue increase levels of over 100% (such organizations undergo a dynamic transformation caused by growth), and employment ranging from 10 to 50 employees. The studied companies operate mainly in the IT industry and use technologies to organize the processes of identification and tracking of customer behaviour to a large extent. Several research methods were used in this paper: literature studies, expert interview, participant observation, and Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. Findings & Value added: The article describes the usage level of the agile (and linear) approach in the organizational transformation (through the dynamic growth of revenues), and presents the agile approach model, which can be used as an accelerator of the business' development. In addition, the authors undertook the first (limited and unrepresentative) attempt to evaluate the use of agile approach in the context of such indicators as: communication with customers, profit increase, and minimization of the risk related to introducing a new product on the market.

The technical condition of the braking system of a vehicle admitted to traffic on public roads cannot raise any objections. Regardless of the intended use and structural solution, the braking systems can be divided into braking mechanisms and mechanisms and systems activating braking. The technical diagnostics include the assessment of technical suitability of the mechanisms activating braking and the determination of the braking system's performance at the test and measurement stand. For a diagnostician who checks the technical condition of a vehicle, this is a basic check in the field of road use safety. One of the symptoms of the technical failure of the vehicle braking system is the lack of tightness of the hydraulic circuit. In the process of exploitation, taking into account the safety of technical facilities, the factor that influences the development of diagnostics involves primarily the minimization of threats to human health and life, threats to the biological and technical environment. Guided by these assumptions, the purpose of the conducted research was to develop a method for diagnosing leakage of the hydraulic circuit for the needs of designing a braking system diagnosing unit. The publication presents the original mathematical model based on Boolean functions, which is a part of the mathematical analyses.
Stan techniczny układu hamulcowego pojazdu dopuszczonego do ruchu na drogach publicznych nie może budzić zastrzeżeń. Niezależnie od przeznaczenia i rozwiązania konstrukcyjnego układy hamulcowe można podzielić na mechanizmy hamulcowe i mechanizmy oraz systemy uruchamiające hamulce. Diagnostyka techniczna obejmuje ocenę zdatności technicznej mechanizmów uruchamiających hamulce oraz określanie skuteczności działania układu hamulcowego na stanowisku badawczo-pomiarowym. Dla diagnosty, dokonującego sprawdzenia stanu technicznego pojazdu, jest to zasadnicze badanie kontrolne w zakresie bezpieczeństwa użytkowania pojazdu w ruchu drogowym. Jednym z symptomów niezdatności technicznej samochodowego układu hamulcowego jest brak szczelności obwodu hydraulicznego. W procesie eksploatacji mając na uwadze bezpieczeństwo obiektów technicznych czynnikiem wpływającym na rozwój diagnostyki jest przede wszystkim minimalizacja zagrożeń zdrowia i życia ludzkiego, zagrożeń środowiska biologicznego i technicznego. Kierując się tymi założeniami celem przeprowadzonych badań było opracowanie metody procesu diagnozowania nieszczelności obiegu hydraulicznego na potrzeby zaprojektowania diagnozera mechanizmów hamulcowych. W publikacji przedstawiono Autorski model matematyczny oparty na funkcjach boole’owskich, będący częścią prowadzonych analiz matematycznych.

Influence of heat treatment on magnetic properties of amorphous Hf₂Co₁₁B alloy was investigated. Hard magnetic phase, characterized by high magnetic anisotropy, appears during crystallization. The highest coercive field equal to 1.86 kOe, was obtained for sample annealed in third crystallization stage. Longer heat treatment at T_{a} = 650°C leads to decrease in coercive field, which can be the result of excess of the HfCo₃B₂ phase volume fraction and additionally eutectoid transformation of hard magnetic phase into soft magnetic Co₂₃B₆ and fcc-Co. Decrease of volume fraction of hard phase is confirmed by the remanence ratio m_{r}. Value of m_{r}, for T_{a} = 650°C, is decreasing with annealing time from 0.4 to 0.27 for 30 min and 120 min, respectively. The magnetocrystalline anisotropy constant K₁ increases from 2.23 Merg/cm³ for the amorphous ribbon to 15.84 Merg/cm³ for the sample annealed at 650°C for 30 min.

Bezpieczeństwo i higienę pracy można zdefiniować jako stan warunków pracy oraz zachowań pracowników, które zapewniają odpowiedni poziom ochrony zdrowia i życia przed zagrożeniami w środowisku pracy. Właściwy stan bezpieczeństwa w miejscu pracy jest bardzo ważnym elementem dla utrzymania poprawnego funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstwa, organizacji, jak również jednostek samorządu terytorialnego lub innych instytucji. Odpowiednie warunki pracy wpływają znacząco na rozwój i wzrost wydajności pracy oraz ograniczenie strat powstających na skutek awarii, przerw w pracy czy wypadków. W artykule dokonano analizy zagrożeń i oceny ryzyka zawodowego na wybranych stanowiskach pracy metodą Risk Score, zaproponowano również działania na rzecz poprawy bezpieczeństwa pracy.
Occupational health and safety can be defined as the state of working conditions and behavior of employees providing an appropriate level of the protection of health and life against risks in the working environment. The provision of an appropriate level of safety in a workplace is very important to maintain an adequate operation of an enterprise, organization as well as local government units or other institutions. Appropriate working conditions significantly affect the development and growth in labor productivity and reduction in losses resulting from failures, interruptions or accidents. In the paper, there has been conducted the analysis of risks and assessment of the occupational risk at selected workplaces with the Risk Score method. There have also been proposed the actions for the benefit of improvement in occupational safety.
