    The quality management systems compliant with the ISO 9001:2009 have been thoroughly researched and described in detail in the world literature. The accredited management systems used in the testing laboratories and compliant with the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 have been mainly described in terms of the system design and implementation. They have also been investigated from the analytical point of view. Unfortunately, a low number of studies concerned the management system functioning in the accredited testing laboratories. The aim of following study was to assess the management system functioning in the accredited testing laboratories in Poland. On 8 October 2015, 1,213 accredited testing laboratories were present in Poland. They investigated various scientific areas and substances/objects. There are more and more such laboratories that have various problems and different long-term experience when it comes to the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the management systems. The article describes the results of the conducted expert assessment (survey) carried out to examine the conditions for the functioning of a management system in an accredited laboratory. It also focuses on the characteristics of the accredited research laboratories in Poland. The authors discuss the selection of the external and internal conditions that may affect the accredited management system. They show how the experts assessing the selected conditions were chosen. The survey results are also presented.

    W artykule przedstawiono celowość i istotę badań jakości tworzyw syntetycznych stosowanych w motoryzacji do wyposażenia wnętrza kabiny samochodu. Omówiono różne metody badań emisji LZO z tworzyw syntetycznych. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na badania prowadzone w komorze środowiskowej 1m³ na przykładzie komory WKE 1000 (Weiss). Omówiono wymagania stawiane tego typu komorom. Podjęto problematykę walidacji metody badawczej oraz zapewnienia jakości wyników badań pod kątem wymagań normy PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
    This paper presents the purpose and the essence of the research on the quality of polymers used in automotive industry in vehicle interior. Various methods of VOC emissions from polymers are discussed. Particular attention has been paid to studies conducted in the 1m³ environment chamber on the example of the WKE 1000 (Weiss) chamber. The requirements for such chambers are discussed. The problem of test method validation and quality assurance of the test results for compliance with PN-EN ISO/IES 17025:2005 requirements are discussed.

    The quality management systems compliant with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard are widely described in terms of the research methods. However, the construction and functioning of the management system are discussed on a much smaller scale. The Authors of this publication tried to assess selected results from the survey conducted among 1,213 accredited testing laboratories functioning in Poland. The Authors focused on analysing the survey results describing the influence of the organizational structure of the institution in which the laboratory was located on the functioning of an accredited management system in a testing laboratory.
    ystemy zarządzania jakością wg normy PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 zostały szeroko opisane w kontekście metod badawczych. Natomiast budowa i funkcjonowanie systemu zarządzania zostały opisane w znacznie mniejszej skali. Autorzy publikacji podjęli próbę oceny wybranych wyników przeprowadzonego badania ankietowego na próbie 1213 akredytowanych laboratoriów badawczych funkcjonujących na terenie Polski. Autorzy skupili się na analizie wyników ankiety opisującej wpływ struktury organizacyjnej jednostki, w której jest umiejscowione laboratorium, na funkcjonowanie akredytowanego systemu zarządzania w laboratorium badawczym.

    Personel laboratoriów sądowych powinien mieć nie tylko wysokie kompetencje merytoryczne, ale przede wszystkim postępować zgodnie ze standardami zawodowymi i powszechnie obowiązującymi normami moralnymi. Fundamentem działania pracowników laboratorium jest kodeks etyki określający standardy i najlepsze praktyki popierane oraz stosowane w danej organizacji. Zdaniem autorów istnieje pilna potrzeba opracowania kodeksu etyki zawodowej biegłych sądowych z uwagi na specyfikę wykonywanych przez nich badań, odpowiedzialność moralną na nich ciążącą oraz brak jasnych kryteriów wyboru laboratoriów wykonujących badania na rzecz organów ścigania i wymiaru sprawiedliwości.
    The authors consider the need for creating the code of ethics for forensic practitioners. Adhering to ethical rules across organizations contributes to reinforcing their status, market position as well as provides for their development. In such organizations, the staff members do not only possess a high level of competence, but they also follow professional standards and universally accepted moral rules, e.g. honesty or accountability. The implementation of the code of ethics could also constitute an important element of the management system in line with PN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 It should be noted that code of ethics plays only advisory and controlling functions. None of the codes will guarantee that their principles will be followed, if employees themselves do not live up to those rules.

    Aktualnie wymaga się aby procesy badawcze realizowane w akredytowanych laboratoriach spełniały wymagania normy PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025, co jest środkiem budującym wiarygodność, powtarzalność i odtwarzalność badań. Wyniki takich badań stanowią podstawę dla oceny spełnienia wymagań w procesie certyfikacji pojazdów szynowych i ich wyposażenia, dając przesłanki dla dopuszczenia pojazdu do ruchu na sieci kolejowej. W opracowaniu omówiono sposoby spełniania wymagań poszczególnych punktów normy, opatrując je praktycznymi wskazówkami i uwagami wynikłymi z wieloletnich doświadczeń. Opracowanie jest dedykowane przede wszystkim pracownikom badawczym w branży pojazdów szynowych a także menadżerom, których świadomość specyfiki badań i wymagań merytorycznych, jakościowych oraz czasowych i finansowych może wpływać decydująco na rozwój i sukcesy kolejnictwa w naszym kraju.
    At the moment the research processes carried out in the accredited laboratories are required to meet the requirements of PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard, which is a measure building credibility, repeatability and reproducibility of tests. The results of these tests make a basis for assessing the compliance with the requirements in the certification process of the rail vehicles and their equipment giving the reasons for the admittance the vehicle to motion on the railway network.In this paper it is discussed the ways of meeting the requirements of the particular points of the standard providing them with the practical instructions and comments resulting from many years experiences. This study i s dedicated primarily to the reseach workers in the field of rail vehicles as well as the managers whose awareness of the specificity of tests and the essential , quality, time and financial requirements may decisively have an effect on development and success of the railway in our country.
