The preference level
Opis:
This research aims to determine the percentage of adding Texturized Soy Protein (TSP) to the quality of the preferred nila nuggets. This research was carried out at the Fisheries Product Processing Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Food Chemistry Laboratory, Faculty of Agricultural Industrial Technology, Padjadjaran University and Food Chemistry Laboratory, Pasundan University in March to May 2019. The approach employed in this research was an experimental method with TSP addition treatment of 0 %, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50% TSP on Nila nuggets. Observations were made on the level of preference. These included the characteristics of appearance, aroma, taste, and texture, and were performed by semi-trained panelists. Other tests included Nila nugget folding and texture tests, moisture content, ash content, protein content and fat content. The results showed that panels preferred a treatment of the addition of 30% TSP. This, accordingly, had an average value of appearance of 9.0, aroma of 7.0, texture of 9.0 and taste of 9,0. Proximate test results showed increased water content of 0.04%, 0.25% ash content, 0.03% fat content and 0.55% protein content. Moreover, results indicated that the addition of 30% TSP can reduce the hardness value by 1933.99 g Force and add springiness value of 1.45 g Force.

Opis:
The fishing ground can be determined by detecting oceanography parameters in seawater area. One of the oceanographic parameters that can be used is chlorophyll-a. This research aims to analyze the relationship between chlorophyll-a and total catch of shortfin scad along with potential map areas for fishing shortfin scad (Decapterus sp.) in Pekalongan seawater. The research was conducted in two stages, which are field data collection in January and downloading and processing satellite image data in February. This research used the survey method with spatial analysis. Primary spatial data used is the distribution of chlorophyll-a and data of shortfin scad fishing production. The study shows an average concentration of chlorophyll-a from 2013-2017 in Pekalongan seawater ranges around 0,16 - 1,55 mg/m3. The result of linear regression test shows that chlorophyll-a has a role as one of the factors that influence the total catch of shortfin scad in Pekalongan seawater, East Java by 23%. Other factors influence the remaining 77%. Based on the assessment of fishing ground, there are 25 potential coordinate points of shortfin scad fishing area in Pekalongan seawater that can be categorized as a potential fishing ground.

Opis:
Blue swimming crab (Portunus (Portunus) pelagicus (Linnaeus, 1758)) is included as one of the fishery commodities that has high economic value and becomes one of the primadonnas in the field of fisheries. Besides in the local market, the blue swimming crabs can be one of the high levels and promising export commodities. The purpose of this research is to determine the size distribution and sex ratio from blue swimming crab in Java Sea near Gebang Mekar Village, Cirebon Regency. This research was conducted in Gebang Mekar Village, Cirebon Regency at September 2019 – October 2019 using the case study method with descriptive analysis and quantitative approach. Primary data used are the carapace width of blue swimming crab, amount of male and female blue swimming crab and female blue swimming crab containing egg. The results of the research that blue swimming crab catched by crab gillnet in Java Sea near Gebang Mekar Village, Cirebon Regency have sex ratio 1:1 and the growth of male crabs in these waters was faster than that of female crabs.
