    This article refers to selected narrative axes surrounding the teaching profession. Against the background of organisational and legal aspects as well as the social perspective, the opinions of preschool and early school teachers about their professional work are presented. In order to gain insight into teachers’ points of view, in 2022 a diagnostic survey was conducted in which 63 teachers of preschool and early school education participated. For the purposes of this research, hypotheses were formulated relating to the level of teachers’ satisfaction with their work, remuneration as one of the key factors of job satisfaction, the phenomenon of professional burnout and teachers’ perception of their profession in terms of social mission. The results did not confirm the dominance of low professional satisfaction among teachers. They also indicated that the remuneration is not a factor determining its occurrence. The assumption that professional burnout is a common phenomenon among teachers was not confirmed, and furthermore, it is not a problem that only affects teachers with great professional experience. At the same time, most of the teachers surveyed agreed with the statement that their profession was a vocation.

    The object of the article is to characterize the transformations of the contemporary pilgrimage movement. The focus is on the pilgrims who arrive in selected places of Marian cult in Greater Poland. They are described using demographic variables such as: sex, age, place of residence, profession and education. An attempt has been made to show the specificity of the shrines in the context of the pilgrimage movement. The results presented here are the effect of many years of questionnaire surveys and archive research conducted at selected cultic sites in Greater Poland: Gostyń, Licheń, Górka Klasztorna, Górka Duchowna and in Rokitno.Contemporary pilgrimage movement is gaining impetus especially in Poland. The beginnings of the process date back to the postwar years when after the end of the Second World War a rapid growth of the pilgrimage movement was noted. In effect of the change of political system underway at that time, a marked regress in pilgrimages took place in the years 1948 - 1965. But already from 1965 onward a slow development of the movement could be  observed.Transformations in the pilgrimage movement pertain not only to the number of pilgrimaging persons but above all to changes in the forms and routes of pilgrimages. Collective peregrinations organized by parishes or prayer groups usually choose for their destinations large pilgrimage centres of international renown and not necessarily the ones located in Poland. For instance, in the 1980s Rome was a major destination as Poles wanted to attend meetings with Pope John Paul   II.Individual pilgrimaging is still significant in Poland. It is worth noting that this type of pilgrimaging is very different in character from collective peregrinations.

    Opis:
    Between about 1414 and 1592, the castle in Kórnik belonged to the Górka family – representatives of the Polish Crown’s power elite in the Early Modern era. In the third quarter of the 16th century, on the initiative of its then-owner, Count Stanisław Górka, the castle and its surroundings were modernised and extended. This article seeks to reconstruct and interpret the resulting residence complex, with particular focus on the castle, but also the private town, family church and hunting lodge. Some basic questions are asked concerning the new architectural solutions appearing at the time, the provenance of the formal-ideal models, and the author of the modernization design. In the adopted research method, assuming an interdisciplinary approach, the residence is seen as resultant of the investor’s needs and possibilities arising from his social, political and financial position.

    The plants of the Impatiens L. (Balsaminaceae) have been used for a long time in folk medicine in different painful conditions, and to treat rheumatism, isthmus and crural aches, fractures, superficial infections, fingernail inflammation. This study was undertaken to determine the pharmacological profile of hydroethanolic extracts from Impatiens glandulifera, I. noli-tangere and I. parviflora. A range of behavioral assessments was applied to evaluate the effects of obtained extracts i.e. measurement of body temperature, tests of locomotor activity and motor coordination, nociceptive reaction and anxiety-like behavior. Hydroethanolic extracts were analyzed for total polyphenol (TPC), flavonoid (TFC), flavones/flavonols (TFFC), and flavonones/dihydroflavonols (TFDC) content. Our results show that the extracts from Impatiens species contain high levels of TPC, TFC, TFFC, and TFDC. Oral (i.e., by gavage) administration of Impatiens L. extracts (except for I. noli-tangere) presented an antinociceptive or/and anti-inflammatory activity in the writhing test. The antinociceptive effect of I. parviflora leaves (100 mg/kg) and I. glandulifera flowers (100 mg/kg) was reversed by naloxone. I. glandulifera flowers and roots extracts (100 mg/kg) increased the reaction time to the thermal stimulus in the hot-plate test. All extracts from I. glandulifera (100 mg/kg) showed antianxiety effect in the elevated plus-maze test. It is worth noting that none of the extracts, at the highest used dose – 0.1 ED50 (200 mg/kg), caused coordination impairments or myorelaxation as measured in the rota-rod and chimney tests. These results seem to suggest that the tested extracts are not neurotoxic.

    Artykuł porusza tematykę planowania zagospodarowania przestrzennego, uwzględniając dostępność danego terenu do przystanków publicznego transportu zbiorowego. Przedstawiony przykład dotyczy obszaru Górka Narodowa Zachód. Teren ten został modelowo przekształcony w oparciu o izochrony dojścia do przystanków i idei miasta 15-minutowego. Etap koncepcyjny realizowano korzystając z licznych analiz dotyczących między innymi aktualnego zagospodarowania i systemu transportowego. W dalszej części artykułu przeanalizowano dostępność rozumianą jako częstotliwość kursowania linii oraz izochrony dojścia do przystanków. Następnie przedstawiono dokumenty planistyczne, na bazie których stworzono koncepcję zagospodarowania przestrzennego. Nowy projekt w sposób zasadniczy poparty jest dostępnością planowanej zabudowy do przystanków, zarówno tych istniejących, jak i planowanych w najbliższej przyszłości.
    The article presents the issue of land use planning, taking into account the accessibility of a given area to public transport stops. The presented example relates to the area of Górka Narodowa Zachód. The area was modeled in terms of isochrones of access to bus stops and the idea of a 15-minute city. The conceptual stage was supported by numerous analyses, including current development and the transportation system. The next part of the article analyzed accessibility understood as the frequency of lines and isochrones of access to stops. Furthermore, planning documents were presented, on the basis of which a spatial development concept was created. The new design is fundamentally supported by the accessibility of the planned development to the stops, both existing and those intended for the near future.
