Opis:
In this paper, we introduce the notations of $e-\mathcal{I}$-open sets and strong $\mathcal{B}_{I}^{\star}$ -set to obtain a decomposition of continuing via idealization. Additionally, we investigate properties of $e-\mathcal{I}$-open sets and strong $\mathcal{B}_{I}^{\star}$ -set. Also we studied some more properties of $e-\mathcal{I}$-open sets and obtained several characterizations of $e-\mathcal{I}$-continuous functions and investigate their relationship with other types of functions.

The Italian progressive periphrasis and stative verbs In the present paper, the author analyzes the use of the Italian progressive periphrasis with Vendler’s stative verbs. One of the tests for stative verbs is their incompatibility with the progressive aspect; however, several authors have already found this criteria is not complete, and there may be exceptions. Using several examples and searches with Google, and following the theories of aspect of Bertinetto and Karolak, the author tries to explain and make a classification of such cases.

Opis:
Prepositions are highly polysemous items i.e. they are used in various semantic and syntactic contexts. In the theory elaborated by Johnson (1987) and Lakoff (1987), image schemas have been applied to the analysis of the meaning of prepositional phrases. These structured wholes allow for the interpretation of the prepositional phrases both in spatial contexts (locational and directional) and in their metaphorical extensions. The analysis of the preposition in in Italian in spatial contexts leads to the conclusion that the unit in is a linguistic tool that engenders the container schema in whatever spatial context (static or dynamic) it appears. In dynamic contexts the container schema structures only the final location of the trajector which is located in the inner part of the landmark. Directional movement is structured with a path schema built up into the verb stem. The in phrases out of the context (without a static or dynamic predicate) can receive both in or into interpretation. There is only a partial overlap between the uses of the preposition in in Italian and in Polish, which is due to different categorisations of spatial relations in both languages. The Polish equivalents of in phrases in Italian are the following: w+loc, w+acc, na+loc, na+acc i do+gen. They involve different image schemas including the container schema. The first structure w+loc is modelled by the container schema, the second in+acc by the path and container schema, the third na+loc by the support and contiguity schema, the fourth na+acc by the path and support and contiguity schema and the fifth do+gen by the endpoint schema. These correspondences may result useful in the teaching/learning process of prepositional units.

Opis:
Water is a key component of our environment; it is a renewable, limited and vulnerable natural resource, which provides economic, social, and environmental well-being of the population. The most promising source of drinking water supply is groundwater usage. Drinking and industrial groundwater is one of the most important components of the groundwater mineral resource base in the Russian Federation. Modern system of groundwater extraction management and state regulation is currently imperfect and has definite disadvantages, among them – lack of control over natural resources by the state, an old system of tax rates for the use of groundwater, commercialization stage of licensing, the budget deficit, which is passed on other spheres of the national economy. This article provides general information about the state of groundwater production and supply in Russia, negative trends of groundwater usage, some actions for the improvement in the system of groundwater’s fund management are suggested. The most important amendments of the law “About mineral resources” are overviewed, effects of these changes are revealed and recommendations for future groundwater extraction regulation are given.

The article reconstructs the history of the Italian retranslation of Thomas Mann’s Joseph und seine Brüder. Although Mondadori already published the work (four volumes from 1933 to 1948), shortly after the death of the first translator, the retranslation of the entire tetralogy was commissioned. Based on the letters between the publisher, the author and the new translator, the paper tries to shed light on an unusual case of retranslation, where the rules that generally determine its necessity do not seem to be applicable.
Artykuł rekonstruuje historię włoskiej retranslacji Joseph und seine Bruder Thomasa Manna. Chociaż Mondadori opublikował już ten utwór (cztery tomy od 1933 do 1948 roku), jakiś czas po śmierci pierwszego tłumacza, zlecona została retranslacja całej tetralogii. Nawiązując do korespondencji między wydawcą, autorem i nowym tłumaczem, niniejszy artykuł próbuje rzucić światło na nietypowy przypadek retranslacji, w której zasady zwykle decydujące o jej potrzebie nie wydają się mieć zastosowania.
