Opis:
In this study, a functional product with aromatic oil and vitamins for use at aromatherapy and spa centers or personal care has been designed to improve life quality of users by using multifunctional products with good odor, moisturizing, relaxation, anti-aging effects. For this purpose, commercial berry berry oil was capsulated in β-cyclodextrin, and then applied to 100% cotton towel fabric. Quartz crystal microbalance sensors were used to investigate odor adsorption kinetics on modified textile materials for the first time. The frequency responses vs. time plot shows clear linear step responses to the change in the concentration of odor molecules coming from the container filled with berry berry applied textile. The results also reveal that $TiO_2$ coated quartz crystal microbalance sensors can be used as e-nose to sense odor from textile coated with berry berry oil containing β-cyclodextrin capsules.

Opis:
Background This study aimed to examine the prevalence of burnout, determine burnout-related factors, investigate resilience levels, and assess the relationship between burnout and resilience among physical therapy (PT) students at King Saud University (KSU) in Saudi Arabia. Material and Methods This cross-sectional study involved 153 PT students studying at KSU between January and March 2023. The participants completed an online questionnaire, a Maslach Burnout Inventory, and a Brief Resilience Scale. Results Low-to-moderate levels of Emotional Exhaustion (EE) were observed in 85% of the participants and high Depersonalization (DP) levels were reported by 34.2%. Female participants reported higher levels of EE and DP, whereas males had a greater prevalence of low Personal Achievement (PA) levels. Approximately 6.5% of the study participants reported high burnout levels (a combination of high DP, high EE, and low PA). Academic stress, followed by sleeping difficulties and changes in the academic year structure, were the most important factors contributing to higher levels of burnout (75.2%, 56.9%, and 43.8%, respectively). Most study participants around (66.0%) reported normal resilience levels. A significant correlation was detected between resilience and 2 domains of burnout (DP and PA), with the correlation being negative and weak for DP and positive and moderate for PA. Conclusions Overall, low-to-moderate levels of burnout were observed among the PT students who took part. Related factors that contributed to burnout were academic stress, sleeping difficulties, and academic year structure. A normal level of resilience was found to be significantly related to DP and PA but not to EE on the burnout subscales. Higher levels of resilience can be considered to play a protective role against burnout among PT students.

Morpholine is an interesting moiety that used widely in several organic syntheses. The intermolecular charge-transfer (CT) complexity associated between morpholine (Morp) donor with (monoiodobromide “IBr”, 2,3-dichloro-5,6-dicyano-1,4-benzoquinone “DDQ”, 2,6-dichloroquinone-4-chloroimide “DCQ” and 2,6-dibromoquinone-4-chloroimide “DBQ”) π–acceptors have been spectrophotometrically investigated in CHCl3 and/or MeOH solvents. The structures of the intermolecular charge-transfer (CT) were elucidated by spectroscopic methods like, infrared spectroscopy. Also, different analyses techniques such as UV-Vis and elemental analyses were performed to characterize the four morpholine [(Morp)(IBr)], [(Morp)(DDQ)], [(Morp)(DCQ)] and [(Morp)(DBQ)] CT-complexes which reveals that the stoichiometry of the reactions is 1:1. The modified Benesi-Hildebrand equation was utilized to determine the physical spectroscopic parameters such as association constant (K) and the molar extinction coefficient (ε).

This work deals with various questions concerning Fourier multipliers on $L^p$, Schur multipliers on the Schatten class $S^p$ as well as their completely bounded versions when $L^p$ and $S^p$ are viewed as operator spaces. For this purpose we use subsets of ℤ enjoying the non-commutative Λ(p)-property which is a new analytic property much stronger than the classical Λ(p)-property. We start by studying the notion of non-commutative Λ(p)-sets in the general case of an arbitrary discrete group before turning to the group ℤ.
