Opis:
Transnarodowe obszary ochrony przyrody, których ważnym przykładem jest Puszcza Białowieska, stanowią znaczną część wszystkich aktualnych form obszarowej ochrony bioróżnorodności. Według naszego rozeznania nie było dotąd prac empirycznych dotyczących związanej z tym problematyki międzynarodowych dóbr publicznych. Staramy się wypełnić tę lukę, badając społeczne preferencje – zarówno w Polsce, jak i na Białorusi – odnośnie ochrony krajowych i zagranicznych fragmentów ekologicznego systemu puszczańskiego przedzielonego granicą państwową. Wyniki naszych eksperymentów z wyborem wskazują, że skala obecnej współpracy jest efektywna ekonomicznie, oraz pożądana społecznie. W artykule badamy zjawisko wzajemnej niechęci finansowania rozszerzenia obszarów ochrony biernej w Puszczy Białowieskiej. Tylko wśród polskich respondentów udało się zidentyfikować nieliczne osoby, które gotowe byłyby partycypować finansowo w hipotetycznym projekcie zlokalizowanym w kraju sąsiada. Ponadto, by polscy respondenci są przeciętnie gotowi podjąć się bardziej skutecznej ochrony (przynajmniej w kraju). Natomiast respondenci białoruscy wydają się być zazwyczaj usatysfakcjonowani dotychczasowymi rozwiązaniami.

We present a detailed positron 2D-ACAR measurements study of the "ridge" Fermi surface of (R)Ba$\text{}_{2}$Cu$\text{}_{3}$O$\text{}_{7-δ}$ (R = Y, Dy) compared to full-potential linearized augmented plane wave and linear muffin-tin orbital calculations. From different 2D-ACAR projections measured in DyBa$\text{}_{2}$Cu$\text{}_{3}$O$\text{}_{7-δ}$, a 3D model of the momentum density of the ridge was established and is in good agreement with LMTO calculations of YΒa$\text{}_{2}$Cu$\text{}_{3}$O$\text{}_{7}$, confirming the description of the ridge Fermi surface by local density approximation calculations. The ridge is also studied in oxygen deficient YΒa$\text{}_{2}$Cu$\text{}_{3}$O$\text{}_{7-δ}$. With growing δ, the ridge disappears without changing in width. This is consistent with full-potential linearized augmented plane wave calculations of YΒa$\text{}_{2}$Cu$\text{}_{3}$O$\text{}_{6.5}$, and supports the phase separation model of Mesot et al.

We report on $\text{}^1H$ NMR of $(Ni_xMn_{1-x})3[Cr(CN)_6]_2 \cdot 15H_2O$ hexacyanochromates, where x changes from 0 to 1. The decay time constants of the free induction decay signals described by an effective spin-spin relaxation time $T_{2eff}$ obtained from M(t) = $M_0 \text{exp}(t//T_{2eff})$ decrease as the local magnetic moments increase produced by the magnetic transition metal ions at the sites of the resonant $\text{}^1H$ nuclei. The recovery of the magnetization in the spin-lattice relaxation time $(T_1)$ experiments was single-exponential.

Solid state high resolution $\text{}^{13}$C NMR studies of a 1 : 2 charge transfer complex of TCNQ with diethyl-methyl sulfonium S + Et$\text{}_{2}$Me(TCNQ)$\text{}_{2}$ are presented. The metallic shifts of TCNQ resonances are interpreted as due to the Pauli paramagnetism of conducting electrons and quantitatively connected with inhomogeneous spin density distribution over (TCNQ2)¯ dimer. A singularity of NMR parameters at T = 330 K is observed and described as a structural phase transition occurring in the S + Et$\text{}_{2}$Me cation sublattice.

Various metal salts (Na, K, Rb, and $NH_4$) of monochloro acetic acid were prepared and the $\text{}^{35}Cl$ nuclear quadrupole resonance frequencies were measured at room temperature. A comparative study of nuclear quadrupole resonance frequencies of monochloro acetic acid and its metal salts is carried out. The frequency shifts obtained in the respective metal chloroacetates are used to estimate the changes in the ionicity of C-Cl bond. Further, the changes in the ionicity of C-Cl bond were used to estimate the percentage of intra-molecular charge transfer between respective cation-anion of the metal salts of chloro acetic acid. The nuclear quadrupole resonance frequency is found to decrease with increasing ionicity of the alkali metal ion.

Opis:
The utilization of satellites equipped with robotic arms is one of the existing strategies for Active Debris Removal (ADR). Considering that the time intended for on-orbit capturing manoeuvres is strictly limited, any given space robot should possess a certain level of autonomy. This paper is about the control of on-orbit space robots and the testing of such objects in laboratory conditions. The Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences (CBK PAN) possesses a planar air bearing microgravity simulator used for the testing of advanced control algorithms of space robots supported on air bearings. This paper presents recent upgrades to the testing facility. Firstly, the base of the space robot is now equipped with manoeuvre thrusters using compressed nitrogen and therefore allowing for position control of the entire system. Secondly, a signal from an external vision system, referencing the position and orientation of the robot’s parts is used by the control system for the closed loop control.
