Celem niniejszego artykułu było zbadanie deklaracji wychowanków Młodzieżowych Ośrodków Wychowawczych dotyczących ich wartości rodzinnych i życiowych. Rozważania zostały oparte na wynikach badań przeprowadzonych w 2019 roku. Przyjęłam w nich hipotezę, że w badanej zbiorowości chłopcy znajdujący się w ośrodkach będą częściej niż dziewczęta deklarować posiadanie wartości hedonistycznych i akceptować zachowania sprzeczne z prawem, podczas gdy dziewczęta w większości będą wskazywać na wartości witalne i rodzinne. Z przeprowadzonych autorskich badań wynika, że zaistniały niewielkie różnice pomiędzy deklaracjami obydwu płci, które świadczą, że chłopcy wykazują większą tolerancję wobec niewłaściwych zachowań oraz identyfikują się głownie z wartościami związanymi z życiem pełnym rozrywek i pieniędzy. Tym, co łączy chłopców i dziewczęta, jest wysoka pozycja wartości rodzinnych. Jest to zgodne z wynikami innych badań obecnych w literaturze przedmiotu. Wartościami, które od lat deklarują Polacy jako najważniejsze, są miłość, zdrowie i rodzina. Potwierdzają to wyniki przeprowadzonych badań.
The purpose of this Article was to examine the declarations of the pupils of the Youth Educational Centres concerning their family and life values. The research method used in this work is a survey, which was conducted in 2019. In my deliberations, I hypothesized that in the study group, boys in centres would be more likely than girls to declare they possess hedonistic values and accept illegal behaviour, while girls would mostly point to vital and family values. Author’s research shows that there were slight differences between the declarations of both sexes, which show that boys have a greater tolerance for inappropriate behavior and identify mainly with the values associated with a life full of entertainment and money. What unites boys and girls is the high position of family values. This is in line with the results of other studies present in the literature of the subject. The values that Poles have declared most important for years are love, health and family. This is confirmed by the results of the studies carried out.

The article presents the conceptual approaches to the upbringing in the education of life-meaningful values of teenagers and early adolescence in Ukraine. The definition of life-meaningful values has been given up. The major problems and contradictions in the upbringing of the Ukrainian children were paid attention to. The dependence of the result of upbringing, from the desire and the participation of all actors: children, parents, teachers is pointed out. Conceptual approaches to education of life values meaning are analyzed on the methodological, theoretical and practical levels. The aspects of the previous researches have been underlined. In this context, a systematic approach determines the integrity of the educational process in primary and high school. Synergetic approach combines the organization and self-organization of the growing personality. Humanistic approach recognizes each child's highest value at school, family, and society. Personal-centered approach provides individual attention to him, to free choice of that or other life-meaningful values. Activity approach provides practice and deed activity of children and shows how the value of the meaning of life affects the behavior of the individual. The theoretical level of substantiation of the concept of education of children of teenagers and early youth gives ability to define key points and concepts. Practical level implies the corresponding experimental activity, the determination of appropriate pedagogical conditions, the selection of content, forms and methods of education of teenagers and early adolescence. Conceptual approaches offer the opportunity to develop a modern system of education of the values of the meaning of life of teenagers and early adolescence in Ukraine. Implementation of conceptual approaches aimed at qualitative changes in the education of life-meaningful values among of teenagers and early adolescence.

W artykule badano poziom zadowolenia z 21 różnych dziedzin życia 300 respondentów z terenu województwa wielkopolskiego w wieku 30 lat i więcej. Niniejszą analizę od innych tego typu badań różni to, że satysfakcje cząstkowe zostały ważone przez określoną subiektywnie przez respondentów istotność dziedzin, dla których mierzono tę satysfakcję. W toku analiz okazało się, że badane osoby były najbardziej zadowolone ze swojego życia prywatnego, życia jako rodzic oraz niezależności. Najmniejsze zadowolenie badani czerpią zaś z aktywności społecznej, ale jest to przede wszystkim efekt braku znaczenia tej sfery życia w hierarchii respektowanych wartości życiowych. Ponadto zauważono, że w ramach poszczególnych dziedzin istnieją pewne czynniki powodujące wzrost prawdopodobieństwa bycia osobą bardziej zadowoloną niż inni. Szczególnie silnie na zróżnicowanie satysfakcji z życia wpływają cechy osobowości. Bycie osobą towarzyską, nieobwiniająca innych, sumienną, nieskłonną do denerwowania się oraz otwartą na nowe doświadczenia zwiększa prawdopodobieństwo osiągnięcia wysokiej satysfakcji z życia (szczególnie w sferach społecznych), natomiast posiadanie cech z drugiego bieguna skali osobowości to prawdopodobieństwo obniża.
The study examines the level of satisfaction with 21 different areas of life among 300 respondents from Wielkopolska voivodship at the age of 30 and over. What distinguishes this analysis from other such studies is the fact that when examining partial satisfaction, it was weighed by, specified subjectively by respondents, the importance of the areas for which this satisfaction was measured. In the course of the analysis, it turned out that the respondents were the most satisfied with their private life, life as parent and independence. The smallest satisfaction of the respondents derives from social activity, but it is above all the effect of the lack of meaning of this sphere of life in the hierarchy of respected life values. In addition, it has been noticed that within individual fields there are certain factors that differentiate probability of being more satisfied for some categories of people in comparison with others. Especially personality traits strongly affect the diversity of life satisfaction. Being a social person, trusting other people, being conscientious, peaceful and open to new experiences increase the probability of being a more satisfied person (especially with social areas) and having traits from the second pole of the personality scale reduces this probability.

Jeśli chodzi o karierę zawodową, to tradycyjny paradygmat nie tylko nie przystaje do aktualnych realiów organizacyjnych, ale przede wszystkim do charakterystyki pracowników, których kolejne pokolenia wchodzą na rynek pracy. Uważa się, że dla młodego pokolenia praca nie stanowi wartości samej w sobie, a jest raczej źródłem osiągania innych celów, takich jak rozwój osobisty czy realizowanie pasji. Przedmiotem artykułu jest określenie znaczenia kariery zawodowej dla młodych ludzi i jej pozycji wśród innych wartości ważnych w życiu oraz czynników istotnych w karierze zawodowej. Opracowanie ma charakter teoretyczno-empiryczny. Podstawowym źródłem danych empirycznych były badania ankietowe przeprowadzone wśród 530 osób młodych z województwa podlaskiego.
The traditional paradigm of a professional career not only does not fit to current organizational reality, but to a significantly greater extent to the characteristics of employees, the next generation of which is entering the labor market. It is believed that work is not a value in and of itself for the young generation. It is considered as being only a base for achieving other values such as personal development and the pursuit of a passion. The subject of this article is the determination of the importance of a career for young people and its position among other values that are important in life. The main source of empirical data consists of surveys carried out among 530 young people of the Podlaskie Voivodeship.

Artykuł prezentuje wyniki badań nad wartościami życiowymi i wartościami ideologicznymi ukraińskich studentów w Polsce. Badania zostały zrealizowane metodą sondażową wśród ukraińskich studentów studiujących na Podkarpaciu. Badana próba liczyła 250 respondentów. Zebrane obserwacje wskazują, iż badana młodzież preferuje wartości związane ze zdrowiem i bezpieczeństwem materialnym rodziny oraz autonomią ekonomiczną i osobistą. W sferze wartości ideologicznych ujawniają się silne dążenie do sukcesu i indywidualizm. Badani studenci mają orientacje egalitarne i etatystyczne. Ani socjalizm, ani kapitalizm nie zyskuje u nich szerokiego poparcia. Częściej zgadzają się na demokrację. Kapitalizm, demokracja, indywidualizm częściej uwidaczniają się wśród studentów z wyższymi zasobami ekonomicznymi, kulturowymi, statusowymi, którzy po skończonych studiach nie chcą wracać na Ukrainę.
The article presents the results of research on life values and ideological values of Ukrainian students in Poland. The research was conducted with the use of the survey method among Ukrainian students studying at non-state and state universities in the Podkarpacie region. The research sample consisted of 250 respondents. The collected data indicates that the young people prefer values connected with health and financial stability of the family as well as economic and personal autonomy. Within the sphere of ideological values, a strong drive for success and individualism is observed. The surveyed students are egalitarian and etatism-oriented. Neither capitalism nor socialism gains their support. They agree for democracy more often. Capitalism, democracy, individualism are more often shown among students of higher economic, cultural and social rank, who upon graduating do not want to return to Ukraine.

Pandemia COVID-19 zmieniła sytuację życiową studentów. W związku z tym zrealizowano badanie mające na celu zweryfikowanie zależności pomiędzy perspektywą czasową i wartościami życiowymi a zmianami w funkcjonowaniu studentów w początkowym okresie epidemii (po zawieszeniu stacjonarnych zajęć dydaktycznych), a także przeanalizowanie ich przewidywań dotyczących tych zmian oraz trafności tych predykcji. Badanie miało charakter podłużny (dwa pomiary w tygodniowym odstępie) i zostało przeprowadzone online. W pierwszej części udział wzięło 602 studentów (85% kobiet) w wieku od 18 do 38 lat (M = 21,80; SD = 2,98), natomiast w drugiej – 356 studentów (83% kobiet) w wieku od 18 do 38 lat (M = 21,90; SD = 2,09). W badaniu wykorzystano Inwentarz Perspektywy Czasu Zimbardo (ZTPI), Portretowy Kwestionariusz Wartości Schwartza (PVQ-RR) oraz ankiety dotyczące zmian we własnym funkcjonowaniu w okresie zawieszenia stacjonarnych zajęć dydaktycznych, zarówno w odniesieniu do przewidywań, jak i do faktycznych zmian ocenianych retrospektywnie. Przeprowadzone analizy wykazały liczne zależności pomiędzy perspektywą czasową i wartościami życiowymi a zmianami w funkcjonowaniu studentów w początkowym okresie epidemii. Częstsze zaangażowanie w aktywność związaną ze studiami pozytywnie korelowało z przyszłościową perspektywą czasową i wartościami ukierunkowanymi na wzrost oraz negatywnie z teraźniejszościową perspektywą czasową. Przewidywania studentów dotyczące zmian we własnym funkcjonowaniu były dosyć trafne, choć nieco nadmiernie optymistyczne w odniesieniu do aktywności związanej ze studiami.
The COVID-19 pandemic has changed students’ daily life significantly. According to that, a study was carried out to verify the relations between time perspective and life values and changes in students’ behavior at the early stage of epidemic (after cancelation of face-to-face teaching), as well as to analyze students’ predictions about these changes and the accuracy of these predictions. Both measurements (with a one-week gap) were realized online. The first part was attended by 602 students (85% female) aged 18 to 38 (M = 21.80; SD = 2.98), while the second – 356 students (83% female), aged 18 to 38 (M = 21.90; SD = 2.09). Data was gathered by means of the Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory (ZTPI), the Portrait Values Questionnaire (PVQ-RR) by Schwartz and survey related to changes (both predicted and implemented) in students’ behavior after cancellation of face-to-face teaching. Analyses have revealed numerous correlations between time perspective and life values and changes in students’ behavior at the early stage of epidemic. More frequent engagement in academic activities correlated positively with future time perspective and growth-related values, and negatively with present time perspective. Students’ predictions were quite accurate, although a little too optimistic in relation to academic activities.

Przeprowadzone badanie dotyczyło zróżnicowania wartości życiowych wyznawanych przez współczesnych Polaków. Analiza została wykonana w ujęciu przestrzennym (podział kraju na gminy) oraz czasowym (lata 2000-2013). Głównym celem opracowania było zweryfikowanie dwóch hipotez, że istnieje zróżnicowanie przestrzenno-czasowe respektowanych wartości, oraz że można w tym zakresie znaleźć pewne prawidłowości. Do realizacji takiego celu wykorzystano klasyczne techniki analizy danych przestrzennych (globalne i lokalne statystyki Morana I oraz reżimy przestrzenne), a także metodę analizy skupień. Źródłem danych były wyniki największego w Polsce badania panelowego, czyli „Diagnozy społecznej”. W toku analizy okazało się, że wartości życiowe są zróżnicowane przestrzennie i czasowo, dla Polaków najważniejszą wartością jest zdrowie, w ostatnich latach ważniejsze stały się wartości niematerialne (dzieci, przyjaciele, Bóg), a te materialne (pieniądze i praca) traciły na znaczeniu. Jeśli chodzi o wskazanie regionu najbardziej wyróżniającego się na tle innych obszarów kraju to są to Mazury, bardziej niż gdzie indziej liczą się tam bowiem wartości związane z rozwojem osobistym (np. wykształcenie). Ponadto łatwo zauważyć różnicę w rozkładzie wartości między wschodnią i zachodnią Polską. Zachód jest bardziej ukierunkowany materialnie, wschód częściej stawia na wartości rodzinne i duchowe. Autokorelacja przestrzenna nie jest silna i statystycznie istotna tylko w kilku przypadkach (tzn. dla niektórych lat i niektórych wartości życiowych).
The study concerned the diversity of life values espoused by contemporary Poles. The analysis was performed in spatial terms (division of the country into districts) and in time (years 2000-2013). The main purpose of the study was to verify the two hypotheses: that there exists diversity of respected values in terms of space and time, and that in this diversity there are some regularities. To accomplish this purpose the classical techniques of spatial data analysis (Moran’s I global and local statistics and spatial regimes) and the method of cluster analysis were used. The sources of data were the results of the largest panel research in Poland called “Social Diagnosis”. During the analysis, it was found that life values are varied in terms of time and space, for Poles the most important value is health, in the last years non-material values (marriage, children, God) become more important and material values (money, work) depreciates, Masuria region is the most characteristic one in terms of different life values then in the rest of districts (values related with personal development are more significant in this region), it may be also noted a difference between west and east of the country (west is more materialistic, east more familiar and spiritual) and the spatial autocorrelation is not high and significant in only some cases (some years, some types of values).

Opis:
Gwałtowne zmiany społeczne i ekonomiczne oraz proces globalizacji niosą wiele zagrożeń dla zdrowia i rozwoju młodzieży. Wiążą się one między innymi ze zmianą aspiracji młodych ludzi, przy jednoczesnym ujawnianiu się postaw konsumpcyjnych. Jest oczywiste i dowiedzione, że aspiracje są kształtowane poprzez wartości, którymi człowiek kieruje się we własnym życiu. Wartości aprobowane przez człowieka tworzą pewną hierarchię, natomiast pod wpływem hierarchii wartości kształtuje się odpowiadająca jej hierarchia aspiracji. Dlatego też uwzględnianie wartości w badaniach aspiracji życiowych młodzieży jest bardzo istotne. Wiedza o zmianach zachodzących w aspiracjach życiowych młodzieży jest niezbędna do podjęcia skutecznych działań w procesie dydaktyczno-wychowawczym oraz socjalizacyjnym. Może być także przydatna w organizowaniu i kierowaniu różnymi formami aktywności podejmowanymi przez młodych ludzi. Taką aktywnością, o dowiedzionych walorach dydaktyczno-wychowawczych, jest bezsprzecznie turystyka. Jak wskazują znawcy tematu, turystyka może być czynnikiem stymulowania „alternatywnego stylu życia”, czynnikiem zmiany postaw w kierunku poszukiwania prawdy, poznawania świata, poznawania siebie, kształtowania wrażliwości emocjonalnej, ponieważ z jednej strony jest zależna od systemu wartości, a z drugiej – jest także nośnikiem określonych wartości. Celem niniejszego opracowania była próba diagnozy wpływu uprawiania turystyki (aktywności turystycznej) na kształtowanie hierarchii wartości, jakimi młodzi ludzie kierują się w swoim życiu poprzez ukazanie różnic pomiędzy uczniami o różnym poziomie aktywności turystycznej.
The rapid social and economic changes and the process of globalization are bringing a lot of threats to the health and growth of young people. They are connected, among others, with a change of aspiration of young people, while disclosing their consumer attitudes. It is obvious and proven, that life aspiration is being shaped through values, by which the man is guided in the own life. Values approved by the man are creating some form of hierarchy, while under the influence of the hierarchy of values it is shaped corresponding hierarchy of aspirations. Therefore, taking into account the value in the study of youth aspirations in life is very important. Knowledge about the changes taking place in the life aspirations of young people is essential to take effective action in the pedagogical and the socialization process. It may also be useful in organizing and managing various forms of activities undertaken by young people. Such an activity, with proven teaching-education advantages, is unquestionably tourism. Experts of the subject proved that the tourism could be a stimulating factor of „alternative lifestyle”, a changing factor in attitudes toward the search for truth, knowledge of the world, getting to know oneself, forming of the emotional sensitivity because, on the one hand, tourism depends on the human value system, and on the other hand, it also create specific values. The main purpose of this study was to diagnose the influence of practising the tourism on the formation of a hierarchy of values, which young people are guided in their lives, by showing the differences between students with different levels of tourist activity.

Each of us is longing to live more intensely. We hear all over again or are explicitly stating that life is monotonous, boring, empty. How can we enrich our lives? There must be efforts in living more intensely. We want to clarify in this article what these efforts mean and what presumptions they have. We want to point out that the deepening of perceptiveness and sensitivity is the way leading to a more intense life. Only a sensitive and perceptive person is a great fortune to themselves, also greatly enriching their surroundings.

The article deals with the application of drama, a solution for inclusiveness in teaching children with special educational needs in the preschool and elementary school education spectrum, with the use of the Kolb cycle in the construction of classes. It presents the main principles of a training which was provided to a group of 78 students of pre-school and early school education, including forty-two professionally active teachers. Subsequently, in order to diagnose the application in practice of the acquired skills, a questionnaire of the author’s own design was used in a survey con- ducted one month and one year after the training. The results revealed that, according to the assumptions, professionally active teachers generally use drama in pre-schools and at school; what is more, the Kolb cycle is used creatively in combination with other educational and preventive techniques.

Opis:
The desire to be able to live more comfortably, much easier and in pleasant way makes kitsch easily permeate into life. Kitsh start shaping choices and is responsible for people’s thinking about themselves and their future. It would not be so dangerous if they would exist unchallenged patterns and valid norms that men could be referred to them if necessary. Even in the last century, unchanging values one could find in the school, family life, science or art. However, much has changed in the twenty-first century. The rank and impartiality of science were questioned. Art – attracted by chance of easy popularity, was seduced by kitsch. Unattractive school pedagogy together with a family are in a constant crisis. It make kitsch easier to find comfortable nestle in young heads. The consequences do not let you wait. There appears to be lowering the requirements, resignation from the effort of development. It start to be interesting to settle for a smaller and what is undemanding. When we thinking about the future, we choose life strategies „lined” with the kitsch and perpetuating shoddy templates of achieving life goals.

Opis:
This paper analyzed assumptions, possibilities and limits of an education in point of view of philosophy. In the introduction the author points out the problem with terminological definition of the education. He highlights the ambiguous terms such as “education”, “training”, “philosophy of education” and so on. He presents the education as a specific human value and emphasizes that the decisive criterion of education is an axiological criterion. Author draws attention to the negative consequences from disharmony and disproportion between education and training in the process of education. He also contemplates on aim of education in the era of globalization. In conclusion, the author sets out some ideas of education, which aim is “homo creator”.
