Opis:: The article aims to present data describing social services’ cooperation for the child’s benefit from the perspective of the family assistants. Basing on the assistants’ opinions, a coherent picture of the nature of child wellness emerged. Also, the issue of meeting of not only basic, but also psychologialc and social needs is described. The study suggests the need of coorperation between family assistant and other social services’ representatives in order to obtain complementary and effective help for the families.

Opis:: This paper investigates how old Dutch firms display their corporate identity on the Internet, with special attention paid to location and place. Several scholars argue that the Internet would create the ‘end-of-geography’. Current empirical investigation found that incumbent firms display a strong sense-of-place in the presentation of ‘self’ on their websites. Location is important for old firms' images, underlining the importance of embeddedness. Location remains important when firms compete on the ‘global level’ on the Internet. This paper therefore contributes to the understanding of place and local embeddedness of firms in the ‘global internet space’.

Opis:: This text is a draft of Carl Sonnenschein (1876–1929) biography. He was a German Catholic priest, theologian, philosopher, social reformer, charismatic social activist, founder of the Catholic social movement in Germany, the creator of new forms of metropolitan pastoral ministry, the apostle of Berlin, after his death he was called Saint Francis of Berlin. In Poland, his figure is almost unknown. The aim of this article is to bring closer his profile, the climate accompanying his activities and to contribute to the understanding of the aura of fascination and uniqueness, which surrounds not so much his work as a person, so important in the history of the German and universal Catholic Church and also for followers of other religions.
