The contemporary glottodidactics is an interdisciplinary science, which is reflected, among others, in the transition from mono- to bi- and multiculturalism. The main objective of this paper is to define the relationships between, and conditions of, intercultural teaching and foreign language communication. The following issues will be explored in detail: - discussion of the main assumptions of the post-communicative paradigm of contemporary glottodidactics; - definition of the subject of cultural studies and linguistics in the context of the relationships between “language and culture”; - development of relationships in terms of communication and intercultural competence; - definition of the main objective of intercultural communication; - analysis of relationships as well as intercultural teaching and communication based on examples.

Opis:
The article deals with the style qualification issue as a way of verbal thinking. It is noted that the language consciousness is a part of the public consciousness – moral, ethical, national, legal, environmental, historical, aesthetic, political, religious, etc., that is represented in oral and written language practice. It was proposed to differ functional styles features, based on the type of language awareness, and the system itself considered to be a communicative-style paradigm. It was emphasized that communication styles are formed historically as a result of constant connection of situational use of language according to its social and cultural functions. In this regard, it was determined that the functional style is a certain type of language and mental activity. It depends on extralinguistic factors (type of com- municants interaction, form, purpose of communication).

The article gives an insight into some basic conceptual guidelines on how to design a university foreign language textbook as a tool for developing students’ intercultural communicative competence. The fundamental methodological approaches and principles for creating it are defined. In addition, an innovative textbook focused on preparing a future foreign language teacher for intercultural communication, designed in accordance with the described requirements, is presented

Opis:
In research on tales, the problems of language, speech, communication, or its rejection are rarely the main focus. Most research has been carried out on the language of animals. However, animals, plants, meteorological phenomena and cultural artifacts use language and speech not only in magical tales but also those of other kinds, mainly animal tales, anecdote-tales, and etiological tales. This study surveys the motif of language in various kinds of tales.
Язык и речь, коммуникация или отказ от нее редко воспринимаются как отдельная тематика при изучении сказок. Лучше других  исследован мотив языка животных в волшебных сказках. Однако животные, растения, метеорологические явления и культурные предметы  высказываются не только в волшебных, но и в других  видах сказок: прежде всего в сказках о животных, в сказках-анекдотах и в этиологических сказках. В нашу задачу входит проследить, как по-разному мотив языка разрабатывается в разных видах сказок.
Język i mowa, komunikacja lub jej odrzucenie rzadko są traktowane jako odrębny temat w badaniu baśni. Motyw języka zwierząt w baśniach został zbadany lepiej niż inne. Jednak zwierzęta, rośliny, zjawiska meteorologiczne i przedmioty kultury wypowiadają się nie tylko w bajkach magicznych, ale także w innych rodzajach baśni - przede wszystkim w baśniach zwierzęcych, w bajkach-anegdotach i bajkach ajtiologicznych. Autorka artykułu stawia sobie za zadanie prześledzenie, w jaki sposób motyw języka jest rozwijany w różnych typach baśni.bajka; komunikacja; język zwierząt, roślin i przedmiotów.

Предметом исследования в статье являются роль и значение средств невербальной коммуникации на уроках иностранного языка. В связи с тем, что средства невербальной коммуникации играют значимую роль в установлении межличностных контактов, а кроме этого, в значительной степени повышают уровень межкультурной компетентности, они должны являться неотъемлемой составляющей программ обучения иностранным языкам. Необходимость обращения внимания учащихся на данную составляющую диалога вызвана отличиями в использовании и интерпретации кодов невербального общения представителями разных культур, так как именно в данных семиотических системах (экстралингвистеческих и паралингвистических, кинесике, окулесике, проксемике, такесике) заложена специфика данной культуры. В статье излагаются установки для введения в программу обучения иностранному языку невербальных средств передачи информации. Авторы, основываясь на многолетнем опыте преподавания русского как иностранного, представляют способы введения данных средств в процесс урока иностранного языка и предлагают последовательность этапов работы с невербальными компонентами высказывания. К статье прилагаются результаты небольшого исследования, проведенного в разных группах филологического направления.
The article focuses on the role and importance of non-verbal communication in foreign language lessons. Non-verbal communication tools play a significant role in establishing interpersonal contacts and, in addition, significantly increase the level of intercultural competence, they should be an integral part of foreign language teaching programmes. The necessity of paying attention to this component of dialogue is caused by the differences in the use and interpretation of non-verbal communication codes by different cultures, as these semiotic systems (extralinguistic and paralinguistic, oculesics, proxemics, tactics) are based on the specificity of a particular culture. In the article are presented the guidelines for the introduction of non-verbal media into the foreign language teaching program. Based on many years of experience in teaching Russian as a foreign language the authors present a ways of introducing these means in a foreign language lesson and offer a sequence of steps to work with non-verbal components of speech. The results of a small-scale research conducted with different groups of philological students are attached to the article.

Языковая личность рассматривается с точки зрения гендерной дифференциации и направленности мышления. Исследование дискурсивной специфики речевой деятельности языковой личности осуществляется благодаря анализу текстов-аннотаций, созданных представителями разных полов с определенным типом мышления.
This article concerns the peculiarities of text summaries created by different gender language users at the discourse level. The language user is examined from the point of gender differentiation and mind orientation. Discovery of discourse features of the language user’s speech activity is carried out by means of an analysis of texts written by men and women with different gender mind orientation.

Mikhail Zoshchenko creates specific configurations of word and stylistic constructions using foreign-language parentheses in form of separate lexems, expressions and syntactic structures inserted into passages of a protagonist’s speech. The phenomenon of compilation of Russian and foreign-language forms [or quasi-foreign — taking into consideration the significant number of distortions] can be illustrated by the short story ‘История с переодеванием’. The interlocutors in the text, who in fact cannot speak any foreign language, pretend to use ‘foreign’ words and expressions, involving themselves in a specific verbal game. Their dialogue consists of collocations carried to absurdity, for example: ‘...их бин ейне шамбер-циммер Испания. Компрене? Испания. Падеспань’; ‘Ву зет Германия, одер, может быть, что-нибудь другое?’. Such words and foreign illogical collocations appear to be a unique stylistic device in Zoshchenko’s texts. Their specific features are determined by foreign lexical units usually belonging to several languages. Most frequent are syntactic structures containing Germanisms and Gallicisms. What is more, in Zoshchenko’s texts the foreign parenthetic words and expressions are used exclusively in Russian graphics, which leads to certain changes and modifications of their semantic and phonetic structures according to the model of the Russian language. Transliteration does not reflect the adequate articulation of foreign words and, consequently, results in grotesque effects.

The article reviews specific features of the Georgian linguistic world image shaped during the long period of its existence. The analysis covers the cultural concepts and language markers that reflect the national characteristics. Being a special kind of cross-cultural communication, translation is a process of overcoming the linguistic and cultural barriers, and includes transcoding of language code as well as the cultural one. On the one hand, it uncovers the discrepancies between the key concepts in different cultures, and on the other hand, it demonstrates existence of the similar language markers of the ‘global cultural space’ that is being formed.

Starting with the definition of style by K.A. Dolinin, the article proposes to reflect on the perspectives of an interdisciplinary approach to stylistic research, using primarily the achievements of psychology and philosophy, as the style of a literary work is the result of the subject’s choices, which in turn result from his/her individual way of thinking. The interdisciplinary approach will also allow for more effective aesthetic assessment of the work. The article analyses three literary texts based on memories: The childhood years of Bagrov-grandson, serving as a continuation of the Family Chronicle by S.T. Aksakov, The Life of Arsenyev by I.A. Bunin and Be Like Children by V.A. Sharov. On the example of language constructions forming the concept of MEMORY, the researcher shows the factors that influence the choice of language means that ultimately create the individual style of the author. The study proves that this choice is influenced by non-linguistic factors: the situational context, era, the author’s professional and personal experience and education, philosophicaland aesthetic ideas, and other important circumstances that guide the artist’s thinking. Genre rules and current tastes are also of importance. The study shows that the ratio of the number of language constructions regarding experience memory and information memory can characterize the individual style of a given author. It also proves that a broader interdisciplinary view of style allows to see more determinants of the aesthetic value of a work. Among them are: the harmonious structure of the text including its spatial and temporal organization, and the compliance with the broadly understood norm that involves not only the linguistic but also the mental layer of the text, as expressed by appropriately selected means.

Церковное пение способствует передаче социально-культурных отношений, ориентаций, ценностей, категорий, элементов христианства через осязаемые знаки и сообщения словесного искусства. Церковное пение представлено здесь как модель коммуникации с самоорганизующимся процессом связывающая и когнитивный опыт, и ценностные ориентации и социальную, практическую деятельность. Церковное пение интегрирует фонетические символы, вокал и музыку в структуру норм и принципов с внутренней связью и семантической интерпретацией. Церковное пение как социальная коммуникация является динамикой личностного усвоения доктрины элементов, социального опыта в виде знаний о мире вокруг накопленных христианской культурой принципов и навыков общественной жизни и социально значимой продуктивной деятельности, критериев самоопределения в обществе. В свою очередь, человек не только передает христианскую культуру, но также создает и производит традиции, изменяя или изобретая культурные инновации.
Church singing promotes the transmission of sociocultural relations, attitudes, values, categories and elements of Christianity through tangible signs and messages of verbal art. Church singing is presented here as a model of communication with self-organizing process linking cognitive experience, value orientations and social practical activity. Church singing integrates phonetic symbols, singing and music into a structure of the norms and principles with intrinsic relation and semantic interpretation. Church singing as social communication, is the dynamic of personal acceptance of doctrinal elements, social experience in the form of knowledge about the surrounding world accumulated by Christian culture, principles and skills of community life, socially meaningful productive activity, and criteria of self-determination in a community. In turn, a person not only transmits Christian culture, but also creates and reproduces a tradition, varying it or inventing cultural innovations.
Śpiew cerkiewny sprzyja przenoszeniu społeczno-kulturowych relacji, postaw, wartości, kategorii, elementów chrześcijaństwa przez konkretne znaki i przesłania sztuki werbalnej.
