    Opis:
    The inaugural speech of president elect is one of the most important types of political discourse. The tradition of this genre was formed many years ago in the United States of America. It is a new genre in Russia, but it is becoming more and more important. The material for the research was Russian Presidents’ inaugural speeches (President Putin: 2000, 2004, 2012, President Medvedev: 2008). The author analyzed the verbalization of main concepts of Russian political discourse (Russia, country, nation, unity).

    The material for this study were the inaugural speeches of D. A. Medvedev (2008) and V. V. Putin (2000, 2004, 2012). The subject of the study are manipulative tactics used in the analyzed speeches. Their task is to form an opinion of the addressees, control their behaviour on the basis of involuntary formation of motivation, influence on thoughts, but above all on the emotions of citizens. The collected material showed that in the inaugural speeches of incoming Russian presidents, manipulative tactics are used at the text level (certain rhetorical means).

    Mowa inauguracyjna to stosunkowo nowy dla Rosji, ale bardzo ważny gatunek należący do dyskursu politycznego. Niniejsza praca poświęcona jest analizie konceptu „Prezydent” w mowach inauguracyjnych W.W. Putina (2000 r., 2004 r., 2012 r.). Autor przedstawia sposoby realizacji danego konceptu: bezpośrednie (użycie rzeczownika „Prezydent”, zaimka „ja”, związku wyrazowego „głowa państwa”) i pośrednie (stworzenie w wystąpieniach obrazu silnego lidera, który jest w stanie stanąć na czele państwa).
    Inaugural speach is a relatively new for Russia, but a very important genre of political discourse. This work is devoted to analysis of concept „President” in inaugural speaches of V.V. Putin (2000, 2004, 2012). The author presents ways of realisation of this concept: direct (usage of noun „President”, pronoun „I”, word combination „head of state”) and indirect (creating in speaches the image of strong leader who is able to to stand at the head of the state).

    Przemiany w różnych sferach życia społeczno-politycznego w Rosji stały się powodem zmian w świadomości społecznej, które znalazły odzwierciedlenie w systemie języka. Proces ten jest szczególnie widoczny w przypadku jednostek leksykalnych, używanych w języku polityki, gdyż właśnie ta sfera w dużym stopniu podlega wpływowi czynników ekstralingwistycznych. Autor artykułu poddaje analizie leksemy występujące w języku polityki, w przypadku których zmianie uległ komponent emotywny, co związane jest ze zmianami konotacji ideologicznych.
    The significant changes in various spheres of social and political life in Russia became a reason of changes in social consciousness, which are reflected in language system. This process is particularly noticeable in lexical units, used in political language, because this field is very susceptible to influence of extralinguistic factors. The author analyses lexical units connected with political language, whose emotive component has been changed, which is connected with changes of ideological connotations.

    There are many active processes which could be observed in vocabulary used in modern Russian discourse. The reason of these processes is connected with changes in social and political life in Russia. These changes are noticeable especially to a large extent in vocabulary because extralinguistic factors have the largest effect on vocabulary. The aim of a present article is to analyse semantic neologisms created by means of morphological derivation. The lexical material was divided into three groups on the base of the way of creation of a new meaning.
    Leksyka, używana we współczesnym rosyjskim dyskursie politycznym, wciąż podlega aktywnym procesom, których przyczyną są zmiany w różnych sferach życia społecznopolitycznego w Rosji. Przemiany te widoczne są w największym stopniu w leksyce, gdyż właśnie ona najbardziej podlega wpływowi czynników ekstralingwistycznych. Niniejszy artykuł poświęcony jest analizie neologizmów semantycznych, które utworzone zostały przy pomocy derywacji semantycznej. Analizowany materiał leksykalny podzielony został na trzy grupy na podstawie sposobu tworzenia się nowego znaczenia słowa.

    The political discourse is a complex linguistic phenomenon which has no unequivocal perception in linguistic literature. The inaugural speech of president elect is one of the most important types of this discourse. The tradition of this genre was formed many years ago in the United States of America. It is a new genre in Russia, but it is becoming more and more important. Thanks to the intention of speech (unifi cation of the nation), its emotional saturation, the conformity of its content with citizens’ expectations, the inaugural speech is an effective instrument of political activity. The material for the research was president Putin’s inaugural speech in 2012. The author analyzed the composition of speech, its themes and linguistic features. The research proved that the examined speech complies with all functions of the genre and it also contains almost all elements typical for it.

    The article is devoted to the analysis of the concept of “nation” characteristic for Russian political discourse, verbalized in electoral programs of the largest political parties. The realization of this concept of “nation” is served by various lexical units (neutral and related to emotional connotations). Various characteristics of the concept are updated in the awareness of voters. They refer to fundamental values, to basic psychological needs of every citizen, to patriotic feelings. The examined attributes are related to the structure of program materials: political parties build the picture of reality in the country based on the contrasts: “bad situation today – improvement in the future when the party wins the election”, what can affect the emotions of the recipients.

    The situation of perception, its structure, types and their verbalization attract the attention of not only psychologists but also linguists. Hearing, like sight, is one of the main sensory channels in human life. In this study, carried out with the help of lexical-semantic analysis, semantic-stylistic analysis and contextual analysis, the role of the vocabulary describing sounds in defining the situation of a miracle is presented (“miracle-vision”, “miraclephenomenon”, “voices from heaven”, etc.) and its relation to miracle markers. Miracles were chosen from Житiя святыхъ на русском языке изложенные по руководству Четиӽ Миней святителя Димитрия Ростовского, in which miracles are manifestations of God’s omnipotence. The research focuses mainly on verbs that describe sound and verbs that describe auditory perception. The study found that in addition to verbs describing sound and verbs describing auditory perception, miracle markers are also verbs describing visual and tactile perception. The quantitative and qualitative analysis allowed us to conclude that the verb of intentional auditory perception слушать does not occur in the text as a marker of a miracle situation, which may indicate the hagiographer’s goal – to show the unpredictability of a miracle.
